He spoke to us about the purpose of reading a book while running, to raise awareness of the importance of books and literacy.The campaign will see Advocate Moremogolo running the second half of Comrades Marathon reading a book to raise more than 600 books for the National Book Week in September 2019.

Professor Talita Greyling, a researcher in the field of wellbeing economics and development economics at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) along with Auckland University of Technology’s Dr Stephanie Rossouw have developed a ‘happiness index’ that measures the emotional temperature of the economy and track the country’s happiness sentiment.Professor Talita Greyling spoke about how governments are able to influence the gross national level through the institutional and policy framework they establish.

More South Africans die of CVD than of all the cancers combined2. A common symptom of CAD is angina, yet many people don’t even know what that is. As a result, it is under-recognised and undertreated.

Wiebe Wakker is a Dutch motorcar driver and adventurer who also holds the current world record for completing the longest ever electric car trip in the world covering a distance of about 95,000 kilometres (59,000 mi). On 15 March 2016, he started his journey through his own electric car from his home country Netherlands to reach his final destination in Australia. On 7 April 2019, he managed to complete his journey taking 1,119 days by crossing 33 countries without even visiting a gas station.

The disease is transmitted to people by the female Anopheles vector mosquito. This disease is a leading cause of debilitating illness, with over 200 million cases each year from around the world. The disease is widespread in Africa, and over one million people die of malaria every year on the continent, mostly children under the age of five.
