S4 Ep 226Stone Chiseler Sunday Chapter 4

The Stone Chiseler by Jason Wright Thoughts are powerful things. Often they can determine our fate. Peak performance coach and renowned Sports Psychologist Michael Gervais has said as many as 90% of championships are decided by the athletes self talk and mindset. In this chapter GIovanni is faced with a paramount decision. Will he accept his identity as a lowly stone chiseler? Or will he begin to accept his ability to sculpt himself even in the midst of these dire circumstances? I hope you are enjoying The Stone Chiseler. Order a copy today HERE

S1 Ep 225THREE POWERFUL QUESTIONS, THE UNDENIABLE POWER OF SLEEP AND MORE

THREE POWERFUL QUESTIONS, THE UNDENIABLE POWER OF SLEEP AND MORE Voltaire once said, “Judge a man not by his answers but the quality of his questions.” As I’ve grown older the more sense this quote makes to me. Often the best answers only come from the best questions. In this episode I challenge you as well as myself to answer three questions. What are you doing that you know you should NOT be doing? What are you NOT doing that you know you should be?What are you doing that you know you should be doing MORE of? I also discuss the power of sleep as a means of proper recovery. Even with my intense training regimen, good eating and intent on doing everything perfectly I still get sick. This happened over Labor Day weekend. I had a mild cold but it moved on pretty quickly. What was my strategy? I slept and took it easy. That’s it. I allowed my body to heal. I hope this installment finds you having the best Friday ever. If no, I hope it makes it closer to the best. S4 Ep 224Biden's Speech, The Fruit of The Spirit and America Eating Itself

President Joe Biden “No outside foe can ever denude this country, however much they may wish to storm our shores with shells or sink our battleships,” he wrote. “Nations do not die from invasion, they die from internal rottenness.”-Abraham Lincoln Galatians 5:22-23 – But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. We are a nation divided. I’m just one citizen, but I thought I’d make a plea to my 330 million neighbors. How can we stop the division? I feel like we are the kids being used by the parents going through a bad divorce. How do we cure this? Can we change the tide from the cheap seats? I honestly don’t know, but this is America where hope runs higher than anywhere on earth. I love you, JW http://www.jasonwrightnow.com Follow me on Insta jasonwrightnow President Biden’s full Philadelphia Address: THE PRESIDENT:  My fellow Americans, please, if you have a seat, take it.  I speak to you tonight from sacred ground in America: Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is where America made its Declaration of Independence to the world more than two centuries ago with an idea, unique among nations, that in America, we’re all created equal. This is where the United States Constitution was written and debated. This is where we set in motion the most extraordinary experiment of self-government the world has ever known with three simple words: “We, the People.”  “We, the People.”These two documents and the ideas they embody — equality and democracy — are the rock upon which this nation is built.  They are how we became the greatest nation on Earth.  They are why, for more than two centuries, America has been a beacon to the world. But as I stand here tonight, equality and democracy are under assault.  We do ourselves no favor to pretend otherwise. So tonight, I have come this place where it all began to speak as plainly as I can to the nation about the threats we face, about the power we have in our own hands to meet these threats, and about the incredible future that lies in front of us if only we choose it.We must never forget: We, the people, are the true heirs of the American experiment that began more than two centuries ago.We, the people, have burning inside each of us the flame of liberty that was lit here at Independence Hall — a flame that lit our way through abolition, the Civil War, Suffrage, the Great Depression, world wars, Civil Rights. That sacred flame still burns now in our time as we build an America that is more prosperous, free, and just. That is the work of my presidency, a mission I believe in with my whole soul. But first, we must be honest with each other and with ourselves. Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal.Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic. Now, I want to be very clear — (applause) — very clear up front: Not every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans.  Not every Republican embraces their extreme ideology.I know because I’ve been able to work with these mainstream Republicans. But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country. These are hard things. But I’m an American President — not the President of red America or blue America, but of all America. And I believe it is my duty — my duty to level with you, to tell the truth no matter how difficult, no matter how painful. And here, in my view, is what is true: MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution.  They do not believe in the rule of law.  They do not recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a free election.  And they’re working right now, as I speak, in state after state to give power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy itself.MAGA forces are determined to take this country backwards — backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, no right to marry who you love. They promote authoritarian leaders, and they fan the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice, to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country. They look at the mob that stormed the United States Capitol on January 6th — brutally attacking law enforcement — not as insurrectionists who placed a dagger to the throat of our democracy, but they look at them as patriots. And they see their MAGA failure to stop a peaceful transfer of power after the 2020 election as preparation for the 2022 and 2024 elections. They tried everything last time to nullify the votes of 81 millio

S1 Ep 222August 29, 2022 The Monday Mission-How Can You Tell Good From Evil? Not Everyone Can So Be Prepared. Marcus Aurelius Weighs In.

Monday’s Mission on The Jason Wright Show-Marcus Aurelius The definition of what is evil seems to be a moving target these days. It seems we are predisposed to meet people who have decided what once was a mistake, off handed remark or joke is now a trafficking evil. Former Roman Emperor and Stoic Marcus Aurelius had something to say about his we can learn from today. He wrote in Meditations: “Say to yourself first thing in the morning: today I shall meet people who are meddling, ungrateful, aggressive, treacherous, malicious, unsocial. All this has afflicted them through their ignorance of true good and evil. I hope you enjoy this new segment of the podcast. It’s just a quick episode to start your week on a positive note. August 23, 2022 Disruptive Education-What is The Acton Academy? With Dillon and Erica Timmons

ERICA TIMMONS Founder & Lead Guide Growing up in the midwest as a child of educators, Erica has always had a deep love for learning and creating. She followed in her parents footsteps to become an educator with a degree in elementary education from Tennessee Temple University. She began her career as a traditional teacher, during which time she earned another bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University. After several years in the classroom, Erica started a learning center to help struggling students and a microschool for student athletes. It was through research about best practices and innovation that she learned about the Acton Academy model, and she knew that she had stumbled upon something extraordinary that would benefit her own daughters, her students, and school-age learners in the Tyler area. Erica’s daughters, Ruby, Hannah, Liberty, and Ember, are her prime reason for starting Acton Academy Tyler. One of her greatest desires is for her daughters to become adventurers, learners, and world-changers. DILLON TIMMONS Founder & Business Operations Born and raised in Texas, Dillon has always been passionate about independence. Around middle school he decided traditional education wasn’t the most efficient way to learn, and begin to plug in to this new thing called the internet. In the early days he quickly found out that no written knowledge of technology was easily obtained, and he needed to learn by doing. Over the next decade of using the “hacker” approach to learning, he found himself earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Liberty University, building a career in engineering leadership, and beginning his entrepreneurial journey. He is passionate about his family, ensuring his four daughters never have to suffer through the same educational drudgery he did.

Did Sam Harris Really Say Censorship Is Ok If It Keeps Donald Trump Out of Office? Q&A, Why Critical Thinking Is More Important Than Ever

The Jason Wright Show I like Sam Harris. I find him interesting, and my boy has wicked smarts. However, even the brightest amongst us can have very very bad ideas. Sam is in the news today for an interview he did on the Triggernametry Podcast. Essentially he said, it was ok to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story lest it usher in a second term for Donald Trump. As is often the case on such issues I got the questions, “Jason, what do you think about the Sam Harris dust up?” In this BFE I answer this question, what I think about bright people in general, the importance of critical thinking and what we should all do to not prove Sam Harris correct. I hope you’ve had a great week. Enjoy the show. Follow me on Insta @jasonwrightnow http://www.jasonwrightnow.com Buy my new book The Stone Chiseler HERE

August 16, 2022 The Afghanistan Withdraw, Ukraine, Rucking and More With Purple Heart Veteran and Congressional Aide Kenneth Depew

Kenneth Depew on The Jason Wright Show I’m very fortunate to have very smart and accomplished friends. Kenneth Depew is certainly no exception. Kenneth served in both Afghanistan as well as Iraq. Recently he became involved with Afghanistan once again not as a soldier but as a congressional aide trying to bring Americans home. He has also spent time on the ground in Ukraine where he gives a first hand account of exactly what the region has gone through, the realities of Russian warfare and just what war smells and looks like. It was a great and far ranging conversation. Oh, and yes we also discuss rucking. This has become one of my new passions and Kenneth is a veteran at rucking for his job as a soldier as well as for fitness. Enjoy the show. S4 Ep 214August 12, 2022 I Why I Haven’t Had a Drink In 4 Years and What I’ve Learned

August 12, 2022 I Why I Haven’t Had a Drink In 4 Years and What I’ve Learned So about 4 years ago I decided to abrogate drinking from my life altogether. It was a huge step. I come from a family of drinkers. We Wrights love to throw back cold beers and have a good time. However, in an effort to reach peak health and performance I decided alcohol wasn’t part of that mix. So I quit. No more. In this episode I discuss what it was like quitting, how people treat you when you’re the guy that “doesn’t drink” and how you too should you desire to quit can improve your chances for success. Let me be clear. This is NOT an episode to try to get anyone to quit drinking or shame those who drink. It’s just a little testimonial I thought might bring value to my audience. I hope you enjoy. August 5, 2022 Improve Your Focus Always in ALL Ways With a Word From Dr. Andrew Humberman

August 5, 2022 Improve Your Focus Always in ALL Ways With a Word From Dr. Andrew Humberman For complete Huberman episode referenced in this episode click below Winter, 1914.The Belgium landscape looked like the haunted forest from a child’s nightmare. Once-verdant vegetation and trees were stripped and scorched, desolated by artillery fire.Relentless rain called for makeshift bridges, built so soldiers could traverse the mud bogs and continue the push on the Western front. But the rain was slick. Soldiers slipped, their shoulders heavily laden with gear. The mud swallowed their legs, rendering them paralyzed Comrades reached in to pull them out. Shells showered overhead. The smell of chlorine––chemical warfare––was overwhelming, overpowered only by the stench emanating from piles of the fallen surrounding them.Their efforts to free their flailing comrades from the mud failed. Occasionally, as they scrambled to save them, the mud would claim another victim. The sinking soldiers were left behind. Hellfire above them, unable to move, before suffocating, they had hours to sink. The panic, fear, and helplessness drove some of them to the edge of insanity. And the mud swallowed them whole.Of all the difficult and dangerous battlefields of history, the Flanders Trenches during the winter of 1914 tops the list. Military scholars tell us that this is due to a single reason:World War I marked a historical intersection of modern weapons with medieval strategy.Similarly, the 21st century marks a historical intersection of modern technology with ancient biology. There’s a war going on for your attention. And it’s relentless.According to the data, most of us are drowning in the mess and mud; the average knowledge worker is interrupted every 11 minutes, checks their inboxes 56 times per day, and completes 1.5 hours of work per day.If you don’t protect your consciousness, you’ll risk becoming a casualty. The good news? Unlike WWI, the damage from today’s weapons––smartphones, laptops, social media, VR gaming devices––is self-inflicted. This means the attention war is winnable. So what causes all this wasted attention in the first place? In one word:Distraction. We know by now that distraction stresses us out, makes us dumber, blunts our empathy, and fragments our attention. So in this series, we’ll focus primarily on the distinctions that are most relevant to flow.Neuroscientist Adam Gazzaley defines distractions as “goal-irrelevant information that we either encounter in our external surroundings or generate internally within our minds.”The operative word here is “information.”We’re wired to crave information. In primates, the brain responds to new information like how it responds to food. This served our ancestors because new information was a matter of life or death.Learning that a lion was lurking in the bushes––new information––was more important than staying focused. In a crisis like that, ignoring Simba and finishing a task would be fatal. This is partly why our information-seeking drive is stronger than top-down cognitive control––attention, working memory, and goal management. What’s happening under the hood here?It starts with the nucleus accumbens––a cluster of nerve cells underneath the cerebral cortex. Neuroscientists often refer to it as the brain’s pleasure center. It’s the region that lights up when gamblers place a bet, drug addicts snort, or when people have orgasms. The likelihood that an activity will lead to addiction links to 1) how fast it releases dopamine, 2) the intensity of that release, and 3) the reliability of that release.Inhaling or injecting a drug––as opposed to swallowing a pill––produces a faster and stronger dopamine release. Social media, smartphones, and modern-day tech act similarly. They’re designed to cause a dopamine surge in the nucleus accumbens as fast as possible. And the pleasure of this release is so extreme that many animals would rather die than stop experiencing it.In a famous experiment at McGill University, neuroscientists Peter Milner and James Olds placed a small electrode in the brains of rats on the nucleus accumbens. A lever in the cage allowed these rats to send a small electrical signal directly to their nucleus accumbens.Do you think they liked it?Boy, how they did. They liked it so much that they did nothing else. They forgot all about eating and sleeping. Starved or not, they ignored tasty food. They even ignored sexual opportunities. The rats pressed the lever over and again until they died. The average knowledge worker behaves similarly every time we dispatch an email, tap out a text, or gawk at our news feed. Our brain gets a dollop of dopamine and we feel a tiny sense of accomplishment. This incessant info-snacking constitutes a neural addiction.Again, for our ancestors, this info-gathering was essential. But in a high-tech world where everything is meticulously engineered by the brightest minds of our time to seize and susta

S4 Ep 206Improve Your Chances of Becoming a Millionaire Always in ALL Ways

In 2004, I set out to conduct a five-year “Rich Habits” study to explore how the world’s wealthiest people think about their money. Each of the 233 millionaires I interviewed fell into one of four categories: Saver-Investors: No matter what their day job is, they make saving and investing part of their daily routine. They are constantly thinking about smart ways to grow their wealth. Company Climbers: Climbers work for a large company and devote all of their time and energy to climbing the corporate ladder until they land a senior executive position — with an extremely high salary. Virtuosos: They are among the best at what they do, and they’re paid a high premium for their knowledge and expertise. Formal education, such as advanced degrees (e.g., in law or medicine), is usually a requirement. Dreamers: The individuals in this group are all in pursuit of a dream, such starting their own business, becoming a successful actor, musician or best-selling author. Dreamers love what they do for a living, and their passion shows up in their bank accounts. The Saver-Investor route requires the least amount of risk — at least compared to pursuing an entrepreneurial dream or artistic passion. But 88% of the millionaires I interviewed said that saving in particular was critical to their long-term financial success.  It took the average millionaire in my study between 12 to 32 years to accumulate a net worth of anywhere from $3 million to $7 million. Below are their three most common habits that anyone can adopt: 1. They automated, and saved 20% of net pay. Every Saver-Investor in my study consistently saved 20% or more of their net pay, each paycheck.  Many accomplished this by automating the withdrawal of a fixed percentage of their net pay. Typically, 10% went into employer-sponsored retirement accounts and the other 10% was automatically directed into a separate savings account. Once a month, the Saver-Investors would then transfer their accumulated 10% monthly savings into an investment account, such as a brokerage account. Even if 20% is too steep at the moment, saving a smaller percentage consistently can still help you meet your financial goals for the future. 2. They regularly invested a portion of their savings. Because Saver-Investors consistently invested their savings, their money compounded over time. When they started, this compound interest was not very significant. But after 10 years, they began to accumulate significant wealth. Towards the final years of their working lives, the Saver-Investors’ wealth grew to an average of $3.3 million.   The millionaires who pursued a dream and started a business (a.k.a. the Dreamer-Entrepreneurs) did not have the ability to invest their savings, particularly in the early stages of pursuing their dreams. Whatever savings they did have were used as working capital in order to fund their dream. Interestingly, however, once most of these Dreamer-Entrepreneur achieved success in the form of available cash flow, they immediately pivoted and began to invest their earnings. 3. They were extremely frugal. One of the common denominators for Saver-Investors, Big Company Climbers and the Virtuoso self-made millionaires in my study was being frugal. For these millionaires, frugality began the moment they received their first paycheck. For the Dreamer-Entrepreneurs, it started the moment their dream created enough cash flow to enable them to save and invest. Being frugal requires three things: Awareness: Being aware of how you spend your money. Focus on quality: Spending your money on quality products and services. Bargain shopping: Spending the least amount possible by shopping around for the lowest price. On its own, being frugal will not make you rich. It is just one piece to the “Rich Habits” puzzle, and there are many pieces. But it will allow you to save a larger amount of money. And the more you have in savings, the more money you can invest. Tom Corley is an accountant, financial planner and author of “Rich Kids: How to Raise Our Children to Be Happy and Successful in Life” and “Rich Habits: The Daily Success Habits of Wealthy Individuals.” Don’t miss: There are 4 main paths to becoming a millionaire—and this is the easiest one, says money expert Author who studied millionaires for 5 years: Don’t play the lottery if you want to retire rich Early retiree shares 13 ‘stupid simple’ money rules that helped him save $1 million: ‘I wasn’t born rich’ Sign up now: Get smarter about your money and career with our weekly newsletter

S4 Ep 205July 29, 2022 Best Friday Ever #BFE With John Landes. Pickleball, Monkeypox, Recession and The Happiest Kingdom on Earth

The Happiness Index Bhutan (The Happy Kingdom) Pickleball After playing golf one Saturday during the summer, Joel Pritchard, congressman from Washington State and Bill Bell, successful businessman, returned to Pritchard’s home on Bainbridge Island, WA (near Seattle) to find their families sitting around with nothing to do. The property had an old badminton court so Pritchard and Bell looked for some badminton equipment and could not find a full set of rackets. They improvised and started playing with ping-pong paddles and a perforated plastic ball. At first they placed the net at badminton height of 60 inches and volleyed the ball over the net.As the weekend progressed, the players found that the ball bounced well on the asphalt surface and soon the net was lowered to 36 inches. The following weekend, Barney McCallum was introduced to the game at Pritchard’s home. Soon, the three men created rules, relying heavily on badminton. They kept in mind the original purpose, which was to provide a game that the whole family could play together. Rep. Joel Pritchard 1967 The first permanent pickleball court was constructed in the backyard of Joel Pritchard’s friend and neighbor, Bob O’Brian. 1972 A corporation was formed to protect the creation of this new sport. Original Pickleball Court 1975 The National Observer published an article about pickleball followed by a 1976 article in Tennis magazine about “America’s newest racquet sport.” 1976 During the spring of 1976, the first known pickleball tournament in the world was held at South Center Athletic Club in Tukwila, Washington. David Lester won Men’s Singles and Steve Paranto placed second. Many of the participants were college tennis players who knew very little about pickleball. In fact, they practiced with large wood paddles and a softball sized plastic ball. 1978 The book, The Other Raquet Sports, was published and included information about pickleball. 1982 Pickleball pioneer, Sid Williams began playing and organizing tournaments in Washington state. 1984 The United States Amateur Pickleball Association (U.S.A.P.A.) was organized to perpetuate the growth and advancement of pickleball on a national level. The first rulebook was published in March 1984. The first Executive Director and President of U.S.A.P.A. was Sid Williams who served from 1984 to 1998. He was followed by Frank Candelario who kept things going until 2004. The first composite paddle was made by Arlen Paranto, a Boeing Industrial Engineer. He used the fiberglass/nomex honeycomb panels that commercial airlines use for their floors and part of the airplane’s structural system. Arlen made about 1,000 paddles from fiberglass/honeycomb core and graphite/honeycomb core materials until he sold the company to Frank Candelario. 1990 Pickleball was being played in all 50 states. 1992 Pickle-Ball, Inc. manufactured pickleballs in-house with a custom drilling machine. 1997 Joel Pritchard passed away at age 72. Though he was Washington State’s Lieutenant governor from 1988 to 1996, he is probably better known for his connection to the birth of pickleball. 1999 The first pickleball internet website, Pickleball Stuff, launched and provided players with information, equipment, and products. 2001 The game of pickleball was introduced for the first time in the Arizona Senior Olympics through the efforts of Earl Hill.  The tournament was played at Happy Trails RV Resort in Surprise, AZ and drew 100 players. It was the largest event ever played to that point. Over the next few years the event grew to nearly 300 players. 2003 There are 39 known places to play in North America listed on the Pickleball Stuff website. This represents 10 States, 3 Canadian Provinces and about 150 individual courts. Pickleball was included for the first time in the Huntsman World Senior Games, held each year in St. George, Utah during October. 2005 A new corporation for the sport was established as USA Pickleball Association (USAPA).  Mark Friedenberg was named the first president of the new USAPA and the first Board of Directors included: Vice President – Steve WongSecretary – Fran MyerTreasurer – Lela ReedGeneral Counsel – Phil MortensonGrievance – Phil MortensonMarketing – Erne Perry followed by Pat Carroll in March, 2006Membership – Carole MyersNational/International Relations and the Ambassador Program – Earl HillNewsletter – Jettye LaniusRatings and Rankings – Mark FriedenbergRules – Dennis DueyTournaments – Barney MyerTraining – Norm DavisWebmaster – Steve Wong Steve Wong (former USAPA Webmaster) created the first USAPA website that went live in March. S4 Ep 204July 26, 20022 -The Mindset of a Champion With Former Major League Baseball Player and Founder of Major League Mindset Brandon Guyer

This conversation could have gone on for hours. Brandon Guyer speaks the language of excellence with perfect articulation. A guy who exudes what Dr. Carol Dweck calls a growth mindset, Brandon has shown having a champion mindset will allow you to leverage to the highest degree your physical talents. There is so much wisdom packed into this conversation you may want to listen more than once. Enjoy the show! BRANDON’S BASEBALL JOURNEY MORE ABOUT BRANDON “I was that kid who played outside until called for dinner. I loved and played every sport, but there was just something special about baseball. I knew early on it was my true passion and I set out to be the very best version of myself. This was a series of trial and error stories. I came to realize that hitting more balls and lifting more weights wasn’t the answer for me. To achieve greatness, I knew I needed to seek and acquire tools I felt were essential in my development as a well rounded person and player. So, that’s what I did. I became OBSESSED with learning ways to improve. It started with nutrition, and finding ways to fuel my body for success. It wasn’t an overnight success either. Nutritional training soon turned into mental training, and functional physical training specific to baseball. If it could help me get to the next level, I was all in. I feel blessed to say I’m a 7 year veteran of Major League Baseball. It’s something I am very proud of. Of course I would have loved to play 20+ years, but it wasn’t in the cards, and I’m at peace with that. When I sit back and reflect on what I could have done differently, I can honestly say there’s nothing. I gave my all every single day and earned everything I was able to achieve. My scholarship to the University of Virginia, my promotions in the minor leagues, my call to the show, my role as a player in the bigs. I worked for literally everything. Today I’m better for it. I’m grateful for the demotions and the promotions. I’m grateful for the strike outs and the home runs, for the hits I got robbed of and the ones that blooped in. I’m grateful for the losses and the wins, the struggles and the triumphs, the successes and failures. I’m grateful for the joy and the tears, and for the beginning and the end. I’m grateful for all of that because now I have the experience and knowledge to pass onto you.”

S4 Ep 203July 19, 2022 Battling Demons, Losing a Battle but Determined to Win The War. The Rise, Fall and Courageous Comeback of Dr. Dan Crawford

So a year or so ago I’m introduced to Dr. Dan Crawford. He’s the dynamic, Cajun tattooed principal of one of the largest high schools in East Texas. The kids love him. His social media is prolific with him surrounded by the kids he loves, inspires and leads. I fell in love with the guy immediately. He held the title of Dr. but he was more like one of my Sulphur Springs High School buddies. He was a good ole boy, a well educated one, but just a good ole boy nonetheless. Then not long after I saw this report in the Tyler Paper. Police: Cocaine, blood at scene of former principal Crawford’s home By Zak Wellerman [email protected] 29, 2021 Updated Aug 7, 2021 When police arrived at then-Tyler Legacy Principal Dan Crawford’s home in early June, documents state he was leaned against the back door of his residence with a red face and neck that were completely covered in blood. He was sitting in a large pool of blood and appeared to have a large cut on the back of his head, according to the arrest affidavit. Police said the officer saw two puddles of blood across the kitchen late at night on June 2, and next to the sink the officer found a small baggie with a “white powdery substance.” That substance was tested immediately and presumptively identified as cocaine. On June 16, results from a forensic scientist at the Texas Department of Public Safety lab in Tyler confirmed the substance was about .22 grams of cocaine, according to the affidavit. I was shocked! No way! Folks, Tyler is not Dallas. There’s nowhere to hide. This down is a fish bowl and Dan has chosen to keep swimming. I’m so glad I was able to get him on the show. “Dr. C” is trying to ‘Improve always in ALL ways.’ As a friend, I’m here for it. I hope you will tune in to this very personal and transparent story of a man fighting his way back from the ashes of a fire he lit.

S4 Ep 184Eliminating Regret and Moving From Your Actual Self to You Ideal Self

I’m currently finishing up Daniel Pink’s book, “The Power of Regret.” It had been an eye opener. As someone who wants to eliminate as much regret as possible, the book has proven very useful. We have multiple selves. The two I focus on in this episode are the ‘actual self’ and the ‘ideal self.’ When we are focused on trying to reach our ideal self, we need to get rid of as many ‘oughta’s’ as we can so they don’t become irreconcilable ‘shoulda’s’ when we are older. It turns out the happiest people are those who have relationships. I go into detail about how this has personally impacted me. I have always been a guy who craved solitude and devalued relationships. That was until I met Mrs. Wright. Now that has all changed. I hope this helps you have your best Friday ever. Thank you for tuning into the Jason Wright Show! The Ice Barrell I mentioned

Ep 183July 11, 2022 Improve Always in All Ways!-What Are You Putting Off Today What You Know Will Haunt You Tomorrow?

The Ants & the Grasshopper One bright day in late autumn a family of Ants were bustling about in the warm sunshine, drying out the grain they had stored up during the summer, when a starving Grasshopper, his fiddle under his arm, came up and humbly begged for a bite to eat. “What!” cried the Ants in surprise, “haven’t you stored anything away for the winter? What in the world were you doing all last summer?” “I didn’t have time to store up any food,” whined the Grasshopper; “I was so busy making music that before I knew it the summer was gone.” The Ants shrugged their shoulders in disgust. “Making music, were you?” they cried. “Very well; now dance!” And they turned their backs on the Grasshopper and went on with their work. There’s a time for work and a time for play.

S4 Ep 180July 7th, 2022 Best Friday Are You Going to Let Reality Punch You In The Face?

Reality Will Punch You In The Face So I received an email from Flow Genome Collective CEO Jamie Wheal. It was excellent. Granted, Jamie and I have differing world views on a lot of the content of the email, but there was some great nuggets of wisdom for sure. The most profound was how so many people are caught up in theorizing and talking about all the problems we face without actually doing any real work or problem solving. He describes a retreat he attended in Austin with a bunch of “do gooders” who could define in a hundred different ways all the problems we face without giving one real practical action item. It got me to thinking about how in this rush to build utopia people are completely denying reality in many cases. This is a bad thing. Reality is indifferent. It can’t be made to suit your whims and fancies. It will punch you right in the face. Here’s Jamie’s email and the podcast that it inspired. The Revolution Will NOT Be Spotified! BY JAMIE WHEAL | READ AND SHARE ONLINE I repeat:The Revolution will not be SpotifiedOr YoutubedNor even Substacked(though I suspect that low-fi blogging platform may persist for a bit longer than most)As the old song goes…“You will not be able to stay home, brotherYou will not be able to plug in, turn on and cop outYou will not be able to lose yourself on skag (aka: Oxycontin)And skip out for beer during commercials, becauseThe revolution will not be televised Spotified.”Everybody’s got a plan, until… Just wrapped a three day conference here in Austin that was ostensibly focused on existential risk, systems theory, and human development. A bunch of well-meaning folks convened from all around the world, to try and save it.And boy howdy! I’ve never experienced a bigger disconnect from the actual stakes and the conversations to be had, in my entire life.It reminded me of those cringe Youtube videos, titled in all caps: “Tai Chi master gets ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED by MMA fighter!!!”Click on the link and said master, whose students have attested to his ability to send people through walls without even touching them, gets summarily dismantled by the scrappy MMA guy. It’s never even close. One journalist who was at the existential risk event asked me, “Why do you think these academics and theoreticians are so disconnected from realities on the ground? Why are they so focused on re-diagnosing the problems and debating their pet theories, rather than actually standing up real projects in the real world to do something about it?”Existential Scholasticism. Trying to outdo each other counting Angels of Death on the heads of a pin.Tai Chi masters, the lot of ’em.Waving their hands around in beautiful circles. Visualizing Whirled Peas, but wholly unacquainted with the laws of physics.#everyonesgotaplanuntilyougethitIn some instances at that Austin event (lookin’ at you, Millennials), we weren’t even dealing with real Tai Chi masters. More like Call of Duty/Grand Theft Auto/MortalKombat masters.“I’m not a real badass, but I play one in the metaverse!”Or Tulum. It’s not that these folks were withholding their most precious insights as to what do we do now??? It was increasingly, startlingly, tragically clear they had no. fucking. idea. And that’s what I mean about the Revolution not being Spotified. If you’re aching to keep your finger on the pulse of the Long Disaster, the ones to watch are going to be broadcasting less and less (if they ever were at all). They sure as shit won’t be caring about subscribers on their podcast. They will have unplugged from their screens and started digging in the dirt. Doing real things in the real world, with a degree of urgency and clarity utterly lacking in the poindexters-on-the-spectrum lot.Remember that old Lefty bumper sticker “If you’re not outraged, you’re not paying attention?” We might revise it to read “If you’re not gardening, you’re not paying attention.”Welcome to the Beginning of the End.(the End of the Middle just happened)Snakes and Ladders (and Maslow)That old Abe Maslow Hierarchy of Needs that Boomers loved so much because it placed their own preferred “Self Actualization” at the tippy top also has a reverse gear.We can slipslide back down to Food, Clothing and Shelter at the bottom of the stack just as easily as we can levitate to the higher reaches of spiritual bypassing.(to be fair, Abe knew this too, and his unpublished papers put “self transcendence” above “self-actualization”––so after we become someone, we’re supposed to become no one and be helpful again)But here’s Three Signs the hour’s getting increasingly late (aka: the Beginning of the End)Thing One: Clean Up Set on the Horizon Smart folks with their eyes on the horizon are warning of some serious cleanup sets

Ep 179July 5th, 2022 Frank Llosa Founder and CEO KetoneAid and Hard Ketones

The company was founded by Mr. Frank LLosa, a serial entrepreneur who has an incredible track record of success in a number of fields from real estate, to highly technical photography for National Geographic, to one of the first cloud-based storage systems available to the public. Mr. LLosa was also an elite Division I track athlete who currently incorporates biohacking to stay competitive in all his endeavors, including a vegan ketogenic diet, hitting levels over 8.0mm on diet alone (as mentioned in a podcast with Dave Asprey, CEO of Bulletproof, where Frank made a cameo at the end). Frank has a unique ability to find a path where others have failed. He knew this could be the perfect challenge for his unique skill set. The first roadblock to bringing the product to market was finding a commercial laboratory able to actually make the Ketone Ester at scale and under $100 a serving (Dave Asprey spent $25k for one serving in 2015!). Frank and his team were warned in advance that multiple huge public companies over the last ten years had tried and failed to deliver the Ketone Ester at an acceptable purity level and price. Within six months Frank’s team contacted hundreds of labs to find the perfect partner. Ultimately having to buy all the necessary equipment three separate times to scale from bench to pilot and ultimately to full scale production. Working together as a team, they succeeded in making small batches of the purest Ketone Ester ever tested. KetoneAid is relentless in continuing their R&D. Continuously identifying new techniques to further reduce costs to make a viable consumer product. Significant breakthroughs in production methods and costs reduction techniques have been identified. In late 2017 we launched a  successful INDIEGOGO campaign and hit $150,000, which was 5x our goal. And we shipped on time (albeit barely). In 2019 they were featured in the print edition of Inc Magazine, all without a PR person.

S4 Ep 180July 1, 2022 Is Your Focus Being Stolen From You? This Week's Best Friday Ever

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • Our ability to pay attention is collapsing. From the New York Times bestselling author of Chasing the Scream and Lost Connections comes a groundbreaking examination of why this is happening—and how to get our attention back.“The book the world needs in order to win the war on distraction.”—Adam Grant, author of Think Again“Read this book to save your mind.”—Susan Cain, author of Quiet In the United States, teenagers can focus on one task for only sixty-five seconds at a time, and office workers average only three minutes. Like so many of us, Johann Hari was finding that constantly switching from device to device and tab to tab was a diminishing and depressing way to live. He tried all sorts of self-help solutions—even abandoning his phone for three months—but nothing seemed to work. So Hari went on an epic journey across the world to interview the leading experts on human attention—and he discovered that everything we think we know about this crisis is wrong. We think our inability to focus is a personal failure to exert enough willpower over our devices. The truth is even more disturbing: our focus has been stolen by powerful external forces that have left us uniquely vulnerable to corporations determined to raid our attention for profit. Hari found that there are twelve deep causes of this crisis, from the decline of mind-wandering to rising pollution, all of which have robbed some of our attention. In Stolen Focus, he introduces readers to Silicon Valley dissidents who learned to hack human attention, and veterinarians who diagnose dogs with ADHD. He explores a favela in Rio de Janeiro where everyone lost their attention in a particularly surreal way, and an office in New Zealand that discovered a remarkable technique to restore workers’ productivity. Crucially, Hari learned how we can reclaim our focus—as individuals, and as a society—if we are determined to fight for it. Stolen Focus will transform the debate about attention and finally show us how to get it back.

S4 Ep 176June 21, 2022 #176 Derek Sivers (Sort of). Three Questions to and Answers from a Modern Sage

Derek Sivers Derek Sivers is a modern sage. He’s been wildly successful by all the typical measures, but that’s not why I like him and his work. Nope. It’s because Derek seems to have beaten the game of life. He lives on his terms. Just because everyone thinks you should sell your company and make millions and then live the FU money life, Derek does not. He keeps things simple. He doesn’t waste time, words or seemingly any aspect of life. He appears to live one of the most contented and thoughtful lives of anyone I’ve witnessed. So naturally when read his book, “Anything You Want,” and saw his invitation to email him I jumped at the opportunity. Where one of my other virtual mentors and close friend of Derek’s Tim Ferriss erects walls and fortresses to keep everyone not in his inner circle out (and I don’t blame him) Derek says, come on in. I’ll talk to you. So I emailed him. Eventually, he responded and then multiple emails back and forth later we had some digital dialogue. I’m grateful to say the least. I like that this episode stretched me a little. I had to find a way to make it worthy of an episode, and I think I pulled it off. I hope you enjoy learning more about Derek. One day, I hope to have him on for a lengthier conversation. Until then, I’m truly honored to have at least got a personal touch for the Jason Wright Show. Here’s one of my favorite Derek TED Talks on goals. I’ve adopted this discipline. I actually learned if from Steven Kotler, but Derek drove home the point for me. More About Derek: I always write for my audience, not for myself, so this feels indulgent. When I think of expressing this kind of “about me” stuff in an article, I stop myself because it’s not directly useful to you. So this is just one big page where I can write all about myself, without feeling the need for it to be useful. And some day this site will be all that’s left of me, so I might as well write my own mini autobiography. This shapes most of my life decisions. Saying no to almost everything, so I can have lots of time for making. At the age of 14, I decided I wanted to be a successful musician. Knowing it’s something that millions want, but only one-in-a-million achieve, I knew I’d have to be fiercely focused, persistent, savvy, and work like an Olympic athlete in training. In other words, not casual. I was single-focused obsessed with being a successful musician from age 14 to 29 — crucial years when many of my friends were feeling lost. It had me waking up early to practice, staying up late to write, saying no to all distractions, and reading whatever I could to improve. Then, at age 29, I accidentally started a company, so I was narrow-focused on creating that for 10 years, through the age of 39. I also want to learn lots of stuff, especially different approaches to thinking and living. That’s why I read so much non-fiction, and want to keep moving around the wor

S4 Ep 174June 14, 2022 The 'Pilot' of The Jason and Josh or Josh and Jason Show? The next big thing from Texas Titan Media

Josh Tomlin has spent over a decade in the Major Leagues. He’s a fellow East Texan, father and dude obsessed with being the absolute best he can be. I love Josh. I’m so honored to call him friend. Well, now I get to call him co-host of Texas Titan Media’s latest show. Although we have no idea what we’re going to call the show yet, we are thrilled nonetheless. Hey this is podcasting not network T.V. If we want to go out half baked so be it! Here’s a little about Josh Tomlin was coached by his father until he began playing high school baseball.[1] Tomlin attended Whitehouse High School,[2] Angelina College, and Texas Tech University.[3] He was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 11th round of the 2005 Major League Baseball draft, but did not sign.[4][5] Cleveland Indians[edit] Tomlin with the Cleveland Indians Tomlin was drafted again by the Cleveland Indians in the 19th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball draft, and did sign. Since 2006, he has played with various minor league baseball teams including the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, Lake County Captains, Kinston Indians, Buffalo Bisons, and Columbus Clippers. At Columbus, Tomlin went 8–4 with a 2.68 ERA in 20 appearances, including 17 starts. He has an overall minor-league record of 51–24 with a 3.20 ERA. Tomlin was promoted to the Indians to make his major league debut against the New York Yankees on July 27, 2010,[6] where he outpitched the Yankees’ CC Sabathia, earning a 4–1 win. In 12 starts for the Indians, Tomlin went 6-4 with a 4.56 ERA in 73 innings. In 2011, Tomlin pitched most of the season in the Indians rotation, finishing with a record of 12-7 in 26 starts. On May 7, 2012, Tomlin pitched a no-decision with a career-high eight strikeouts in a win versus the White Sox.[7] The following day Tomlin reported soreness in his wrist and was placed on the 15-day disabled list after undergoing an MRI which revealed inflammation to soft tissue.[8] In July, holding a 5-5 record and 5.45 ERA and recording at least six innings in just 7 of 13 starts (compared to 23 of 26 in all of 2011), Tomlin stated, “Last year, they could count on me to save the bullpen. It’s bothered me that I’ve been like that. It’s frustrating.”[9] On August 21, 2012, Tomlin underwent Tommy John surgery and was eliminated for the rest of the 2012 season and was expected to miss the entire 2013 season.[10][11] However, he did pitch in one game on September 12, 2013, when he pitched two shutout innings against the Chicago White Sox in a relief appearance. Tomlin was called up from AAA Columbus on May 5, 2014, and placed on the Cleveland Indians starting rotation, replacing Carlos Carrasco.[12] On June 28, Tomlin pitched a near perfect game against the Seattle Mariners, striking out 11, walking none, and giving up one hit. The only player to reach base was Kyle Seager, getting a lead off single in the fifth. Tomlin went on to get a complete game shutout, leading the Indians to a 5-0 victory.[13][14] He finished the 2014 season appearing in 25 games, 16 of them starts, with a record of 6-9 in 104 innings. The following season, Tomlin underwent shoulder surgery in April 2015,[15] and started just 10 games for the Indians. On January 15, 2016, he and the Indians agreed to a one-year deal for the 2016 season worth $2.5 million. Negotiations continued, and 11 days later, another year was added to the contract, for the same $2.5 million base salary. A team option, worth $3 million, was available for the 2018 season.[16] The Indians exercised Tomlin’s 2018 option on November 3, 2017.[17] He finished the regular season starting 29 games for the Indians, establishing career highs in every statistical pitching category. He had a very low walk rate, leading the majors with only 1.03 bases on balls per 9 innings pitched.[18] He also started 4 games for the Indians in their postseason route to the World Series, going 2–1 with a 4.58 ERA. In 2017, he had a record of 10-9 with a 4.98 ERA in 26 starts. In 2018, Tomlin began the season as the Indians fourth starter, but after struggling through six starts, he was moved to the bullpen.[19] Tomlin finished with a career-worst 6.14 ERA in 32 appearances, 9 starts. He elected free agency on October 29, 2018. Atlanta Braves[edit] In January 2019, Tomlin trained at Driveline Baseball to improve his pitching delivery.[20][21] On February 7, Tomlin signed a minor league deal with the Milwaukee Brewers that included an invitation to spring training.[22][23] Tomlin signed a minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves on March 21,[24] a day after the Brewers released him.[25] Tomlin served mainly as a multi-inning reliever for the Braves, going 2–1 with a 3.

S4 Ep 174June 10, 2022 #174 Jordan Selleck Checks In For Some 'Iron Sharpening Iron' and A Special Tribute to Chris Pate With an AMAZING Song by J.B. Patterson

The Jason Wright Show Jordan Selleck is a friend, fellow entrepreneur, Dad, husband and self improvement obsessed dude. I love my conversations with Jordan, and I was thrilled when he wanted to do one of our check-ins this morning. Last Saturday I attended one of the most moving funeral services of my life. Chris Pate was a local business owner, friend, husband, father and most likely angel walking among us. To know Chris was to love him. He was one of those rare people you NEVER heard a bad word spoken about. He was the guy you called when you were stuck in a ditch, wanted to go fishing or just needed someone to hang out with. I did not do this nearly enough, and I regret it. I wish I had spent more time with this man. During the service a song by J.B. Patterson of J.B. and the Moonshine Band (one of Chris’ close friends) was debuted. J.B. wrote and produced this song in less than 24 hours. It so perfectly captures the type of man Chris was and all of us should aspire to be. I really hope you will take the time to listen to it and share it far and wide. Here is a link to it on YouTube. Thanks for listening. I hope you indeed have the best Friday EVER! JW

S4 Ep 172June 3, 2022 'Best Friday Ever' Top Gun Maverick Review, Why You Should Work In Retirement, Crazy Stats and a Lost City of Gold

I’m about to type something I haven’t typed, said or thought in a long long time. I can’t wait to go to the movies. I want to see ‘Maverick.’ I think Tom Cruise may have single handedly saved Hollywood with this film by making a movie Americans have been longing for. Retirement is something we all aspire to. However, the stats show most people die pretty soon after. A loss of purpose and productivity can be detrimental to our lives so why do we stop ‘working?’ Mr. Money Mustache has a great take on ‘retirement.’ A lost city of gold has been discovered in South America. Weird stats. Quick-how much saliva does the average person create in just a month? It’s pretty crazy. I hope you have the best Friday ever, and this helps. S1 Ep 171May 31, 2022 Episode 171 Medal of Honor Recipient Navy SEAL Mike Thornton-The True Story of 'By Honor Bound'

Medal of Honor Recipient Mike Thornton This was such an honor. I got to sit down with a true hero. Mike Thornton is by all accounts a true American hero. In April of 1972, near the end of the Vietnam War, SEAL Lieutenant Tom Norris performed an unprecedented ground rescue of two American airmen who were shot down behind enemy lines in North Vietnam, a feat for which he would be awarded the Medal of Honor. Just six months later, Norris was sent on a dangerous special reconnaissance mission that would take his team deep into enemy territory. In the running gun battle that ensued, Lieutenant Norris was severely wounded; a bullet entered his left eye and exited the left side of his head. SEAL Petty Officer Mike Thornton, under heavy fire, fought his way back onto a North Vietnamese beach to rescue his officer―an act of heroism that earned him the Medal of Honor as well. This is the true story of two living American legends who entered military service and the Navy SEAL teams for vastly different reasons―and were thrown together for a single combat mission that would define their lives. Thornton served aboard destroyers as a gunner’s mate apprentice until November 1968, when he attended United States Navy SEAL selection and training at Coronado, California. He was among only 18 students who graduated from BUD/S class 49 in March 1969, which started with 129 members. He received direct assignment to SEAL Team ONE, a separate organization from the Underwater Demolition Teams that new personnel were normally assigned. Following SEAL Basic Indoctrination (SBI) training and platoon training, Thornton deployed to South Vietnam with Charlie Platoon from December 1969 to June 1970. He served numerous combat tours in Southeast Asia which ran from 1969 to December 1972.[1][2] Thornton conducted intelligence gathering operations across Vietnam. By the last quarter of 1972, U.S. involvement in the region had waned and Thornton, by then a petty officer, was one of only a dozen SEALs remaining in Vietnam.[3] Medal of Honor action[edit] Thornton at the Army–Navy football game on December 2, 2006 On October 31 of that year, Thornton participated in a mission to capture prisoners and gather intelligence from the Cửa Việt Base near the coast of Quảng Trị Province, just south of the Demilitarized Zone. In addition to Thornton, the mission team consisted of SEAL Lieutenant Thomas R. Norris, and three experienced Vietnamese men Thornton had worked with before, members of the LDNN, the South Vietnamese Special Forces. The group was transported by junk until sunset, then paddled a rubber boat to within a mile of shore and swam the remaining distance. Moving inland past numerous North Vietnamese encampments, the group reconnoitered through the night.[1][2] The team soon realized that they had landed too far north and were actually in North Vietnam. They found large numbers of bunker complexes and heavy concentrations of North Vietnamese troops. They patrolled slowly through the middle of the enemy troops, gathering intelligence as they went.[4] The group encountered a two-man North Vietnamese patrol on the beach, which the South Vietnamese attempted to capture. Thornton chased one of the enemy back towards the jungle to prevent him from alerting others. When Thornton shot him, about 50 North Vietnamese soldiers chased after him. Moving from one position to another, Thornton and the others kept the enemy confused about the number of troops they faced. Thornton was wounded in the back by a grenade. He contacted a destroyer and requested naval gunfire support, but unknown to Thornton it was struck by North Vietnamese shore batteries and unable to fire. A second destroyer was unable to maneuver into firing position for the same reason.[4] For the next four hours, the five men held off an enemy force estimated at 150 strong. Norris attempted to call in the Vietnamese junk boats, one of which had a mortar on board, but the destroyers forbid them from entering the line of fire. Thornton, Norris and the three Vietnamese were alone and nearly surrounded. Near dawn, Norris ordered the group to extract towards the beach, and they leap-frogged towards the surf. Norris was able to contact the cruiser USS Newport News and requested that they fire for effect to cover their withdrawal. Norris covered the group’s rearward movement. As he prepared to fire a LAW rocket at a group of 70 to 75 North Vietnamese troops attacking his position, he was severely wounded by a round through his head.[4] One of the South Vietnamese who saw Norris get shot assumed he was dead. Thornton, upon hearing the news, ran about 400 yards (370 m) to the last location he saw Norris to recover the body of his fallen comrade. When he found Norris, he saw that “the whole side of his head was completely gone.” As enemy troops overran his position, he stopped to shoot severa

S4 Ep 170May 27, 2022 Best Friday Ever-What the hell is Monkeypox and can you get it? Box breathing explained and other musings.

So it’s the latest chapter in the slow burning apocalypse.  We have yet another virus to freak out over. Or should we? I wanted to give the Jason Wright Show audience a little insight into the virus known as Monkeypox. In this episode I share what it is, what are its origins and how do humans contract it. Monkeypox-Monkeypox was first discovered in 1958 when two outbreaks of a pox-like disease occurred in colonies of monkeys kept for research, hence the name ‘monkeypox.’ The first human case of monkeypox was recorded in 1970 in the Democratic Republic of Congo during a period of intensified effort to eliminate smallpox. Since then monkeypox has been reported in humans in other central and western African countries. Transmission of monkeypox virus occurs when a person comes into contact with the virus from an animal, human, or materials contaminated with the virus. The virus enters the body through broken skin (even if not visible), respiratory tract, or the mucous membranes (eyes, nose, or mouth). Animal-to-human transmission may occur by bite or scratch, bush meat preparation, direct contact with body fluids or lesion material, or indirect contact with lesion material, such as through contaminated bedding. Human-to-human transmission is thought to occur primarily through large respiratory droplets. Respiratory droplets generally cannot travel more than a few feet, so prolonged face-to-face contact is required. Other human-to-human methods of transmission include direct contact with body fluids or lesion material, and indirect contact with lesion material, such as through contaminated clothing or linens. S4 Ep 166"Iron Sharpening Iron" Two Guys Two Mics and an Obsession With Improving Always in ALL Ways With Giovanni Catanzaro

Jason and Giovanni on The Jason Wright Show “Iron Sharpens Iron” I was in Houston on business. On one morning of the trip I was visiting with my buddy Giovanni Catanzaro. The conversation veered into self improvement, relationships and always getting better. Giovanni is young enough to be my son. Given his wisdom at such a young age I’d be proud. Sidebar, his Dad is a bit of a badass himself. Giovanni’s father’s business slid during the financial crisis of 2008. At 40 years old Giovanni’s Dad had a big decision to make. How would this middle aged father and husband living in Long Island New York feed his family with his business falling to the wayside? He decided to join the Army. That’s right. At 40 years old Giovanni’s Dad went off to basic training. Fast forward 5 years. It was time for another move. What did he do? He became a Cop at 45. With a role model like that who lives by the credo “You do what you gotta do,” it’s no wonder Giovanni is as wise as he is. This was such a fun conversation. For those of us who often use the millennials as a punching bag, here’s a conversation to give you hope. Giovanni is a full blown millennial, but he is proof they aren’t all bad. Enjoy!

Clark Bartram So since I was very young I’ve been into health and wellness. I just love feeling good and staying healthy. In the world of fitness models there’s a couple of faces you come to get familiar with. Clark Bartram is one of them. I started following Clark on Instagram a while back. I love his message about the importance of knowing who you are, putting in the work and never slowing the process of evolving and improving as a person. Therefore, I was thrilled when Clark agreed to come on the JWS. I know you will leave this episode inspired. Oh, and if you’re like me and over 40 Clark serves as a great muse.
