How to Do a Failure Analysis with Your Child
Today I have a very special guest on for an unscripted show. Meet my 10-year-old son Mason. He is in 4th grade and his favorite sport is wrestling. He loved wrestling during the first two years because he had great success. In his third year, he got a new coach, learned new moves, and was moved into a new wrestling bracket. He lost all his matches that season and was devastated. Mason and I are going to go over how he felt when he won and lost, what to do with those feelings, and how to learn from both winning and losing. 4 Questions to Crush Self-Sabotaging Thoughts
In our last episode, Wes Chapman shared his horrific story of trauma and how throughout his whole life he had been told that he would never be a normal, successful, happy person because of what he went through. It's bad enough when other people are putting us down, but for many of us, our worst enemy is ourselves. We tell ourselves we're not good enough, that we're not capable, or that we're inadequate. This negative self-talk silently kills us every day. In today's short episode I give four questions we can ask ourselves to crush self-sabotaging thoughts.
