SURPRISE, IT'S A BULLSHOT! This is how things are going to be for a little bit until things settle down. This is a packed episode, from Hockey talk to water bottle safety, we chat about a great many things. Oh, and wall penises.

The schedule for episodes is going to be a little wacky while the job situation settles. But we are WACKY. This week we don't talk about the Mario trailer because it's fine, it's gonne be good, we can all get our tender bits in a knot over Chris Pratt, but is that really how you want to spend your Saturday afternoon? Oh it is? Oh my bad.

This is a really great episode. It has almost nothing to do with video games, but it's great.

Hey, it's a late show because we wanted to have the most UP TO DATE rumors about the Apple Event so we could spend upwards of THREE MINUTES talking about it. Also, if we had recorded earlier in the week, we would have missed out on the activision news, and wouldn't have gotten caught up in the twitter zeitgeist. Luckily, we are forward thinkers and we have thought forwardly.

Finally, the sequel to the greatest story ever told. Thought to be consumed in the fires of mount doom, Gollum suffered an even worse fate: he survived the lava only to be fused with The One Ring. His power seemingly infinite, the Fellowship must now reform, and with the help of an unlikely ally (Sauron), take down Shin Gollum and save middle earth from nuclear holocaust.

Going to concerts can be rough, even when you're still on the good side of 40 (and have a gaping neck wound). But not as rough as trying to survive in a simulated galaxy. Neither of those are as rough as fighting an alien from SPACE. All that to say, you deserve a drink.

Man, this was a bummer of an episode all around. We had 2 zoom crashes, so editing was a nightmare. If you're bummed out, maybe skip the last 20 minutes of the show so you don't have to hear about the the nightmare of stuff coming out about Activision. I mean....I dunno....Inscryption was pretty ok?

We played some GAMES this week, friends. Boy howdy, it's like a real podcast again. Also, Fish has some thoughts about Mass Effect, and Plachy is getting deep into the League of Legends lore.

I like to keep the episode titles PG, but the other options were "F*ck Muppets" "What if Cthulu F*cks?" You'll notice I put the * in those words so that they were no longer swears. It's like magic. Hey, didn't we just see each other? So this episode is kind of a weird reverse of 207 where we spent the first half hour talking about nothing and then did the show. Time is a flat circle.
