102. TEDx: Our Scheduled Talk That Didn’t Happen

In today’s episode we’ll be talking about the TEDx talk we were scheduled to give and that didn’t happen. Today we discuss: Our mutual excitement about the opportunity to give a TEDx talk, something we both had been wanting to do for some time The challenge of presenting our re-wilding message in 12 minutes The moment we separately realized this wasn’t working because of the essence of the wild woman archetype and it’s inherent fight against being put in a box that was 12 minutes long How our bodies separately started having physical symptoms that were symbolic to both of us about the importance of surrender The PRAYING MANTIS! The actual TEDx Talk – presented here on this WILD platform instead of the TEDx stage We’d love to hear from you: In season two we’d love to hear from you, our community. 100. The Upper Limit: Living in Your Full Potential

How much goodness am I willing to allow in my life? The universe had been hinting that we should cover the topic of tapping into our full potential and the things that could possibly be holding us back. Today we cover the idea that we all have so much more in us than we imagine and have such a deep capacity to feel good but because we have a limited tolerance for feeling good we subconsciously sabotage those good feelings. Today we discuss: • Our inspirations from the book The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks • The core question is “how much goodness am I willing to allow in my life and what is getting in the way of the endless flow of abundance available?” • In The Big Leap there are four reasons discussed as to why we sabotage ourselves • Betsy discusses her experience with the first concept of “feeling fundamentally flawed” • How the lessons the subconscious carries can override the system and tell us that we are fundamentally flawed • Kate covers the second idea that breaking some kind of commitment can create feelings of disloyalty and abandonment and why loyalty became an important concept in her family • Kate discusses the third point of why we might believe that more success will bring a bigger burden to those around us • The fourth idea of the crime of outshining others, of not showing your own genius, of turning down the volume your own potential to avoid others feeling threatened of showing distress in your full capacity to deflate the fullness is discussed by Betsy • The ways in which we sabotage ourselves and how we can find ourselves in the space of intuition of being in full potential, of being the wild woman• The zone of genius and being in full potential is where we can fully use our gifts • Getting unstuck, expanding your edges, resetting your thermostat and finding your upper limits Learn more: Hendricks Institute Mentioned today: • The Big Leap: Conquer Your Hidden Fear and Take Life to the Next Level • Women Who Run with the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype • Chakra Healing: Renew Your Life Force with the Chakras’ Seven Energy Centers (The Awakened Life) • The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Chakras: Renew Your Life Force with the Chakras Seven Energy Centers We’d love to hear from you: In season two we’d love to hear from you, our community. 98. Shake It Off: Facing the Criticism and Embracing Your Light

Today, we discuss haters, negativity, toxicity and how you can manage and work with it. Facing the critics (or being one) will happen to all of us and whichever side of it you’re on we want to have an open and honest conversation about it. Today we discuss: • The fear we each have of our internal light and that if we step into our full light we may experience rejection. • How when you shine bright, you will be a threat to the system, but in the words of Marianne Williamson, “do it anyway”. • The importance of boundaries, and prioritizing being authentic over being liked. • Vowing to stay away from gossip, the short term bond that erodes trust in the long run. • Returning to the light and staying in the light as our birthright (and accepting the reality that there will be more responsibility and pushback) “Our Deepest Fear” by Marianne Williamson: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God, your playing small does not serve the world. There’s nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you, we are all meant to shine as children do, we were born to manifest the glory of God that’s within us, its not just in some of us, it’s in every one of us and as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear our presence automatically liberates others.” “I was recently struggling with a boundary issue (yes, still) and I told my therapist I refuse to go back to saccharine – that I like solid better. Before I really understood how impossible it is to be compassionate to myself or others when people are taking advantage of me and when I’m prioritizing being liked over being free, I was much sweeter but less authentic. Now I’m kinder and less judgmental. But also firmer and more solid. Occasionally salty.” -Brene Brown in “Atlas of the Heart” Mentioned today: • Marianne Willaimson, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of “A Course in Miracles” • Brene Brown, Atlas of the Heart: Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language of Human Experience • Don Miguel Ruiz, The Four Agreements • Taylor Swift If you like this episode, check out previous similar episodes: • Wisdom From Marianne • Fierce Love With Presidential Candidate Marianne Williamson Today’s episode sponsored by: • DrYogaMomma • Kate Moreland Coaching Betsy’s new program integrating Yoga and psychology for mental wellness: • Yoga For The Mind Work with Betsy & Kate In Person: Re-Wilding Retreat Join us for a week of yoga, meditation, connection, healing, and transformation in Nosara, Costa Rica at the beautiful Blue Spirit Retreat Center, May 11-18, 2024. • For more information click here Follow us: Instagram @tendherwild @dryogamomma @katemorelandcoaching Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kathryn.e.moreland/ https://www.facebook.com/dryogamomma/ Source

96. Meet Kate & Betsy: Season 2

Meet Kate & Betsy at the start of Season 2 Join us today as we reflect on the first season of Tend Her Wild and enter into season two. Today Betsy and Kate discuss the impact of the podcast on their own personal growth and the importance of community in navigating life’s challenges. Today we discuss: • Updates on our own re-wilding, and how we are navigating life. • What the wild woman archetype is and how she can guide us into more authenticity and freedom. • Kate discusses how tapping into her intuition and feminine guided her to make significant changes in her life, including leaving a corporate job and starting her own coaching practice. • Betsy discusses her inner work of unraveling as it relates to her relationship, and the struggles and growth that came with the process of opening to vulnerability, taking responsibility, and a fierceness to fight. • The negative impact of the patriarchy on all of us (men included). Quote Kate shared by Pema Chodron: “On the journey of the warrior the path goes down, not up, as if the mountain pointed toward the earth instead of the sky. Instead of transcending the suffering of all creatures, we move toward turbulence and doubt however we can. We explore the reality and unpredictability of insecurity and pain, and we try not to push it away. If it takes years, if it takes lifetimes, we let it be as it is. At our own pace, without speed or aggression, we move down and down and down. With us move millions of others, companions in awakening from fear. At the bottom we discover water, the healing water is our heart, our wounded, softened heart. Right down there is the thick of things. We discover that love will not die, it is gentle and warm, it is clear and sharp, it is open and spacious. The opened heart is the basic goodness of all beings ” Mentioned today: • Women Who Run With The Wolves If you like this episode, check out previous similar episodes: • Episode 1: Meet Kate • Episode 2: Meet Betsy • Intuitive Earth Momma: Monica Basile • Returning to the Heart • Returning to the Body Today’s episode sponsored by: • DrYogaMomma • Kate Moreland Coaching Betsy’s new program integrating Yoga and psychology for mental wellness: • Yoga For The Mind Work with Betsy & Kate In Person: Re-Wilding Retreat Join us for a week of yoga, meditation, connection, healing, and transformation in Nosara, Costa Rica at the beautiful Blue Spirit Retreat Center, May 11-18, 2024. • For more information click here Follow us: Instagram @tendherwild @dryogamomma @katemorelandcoaching Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kathryn.e.moreland/ https://www.facebook.com/dryogamomma/ Source

91. Finding Calm in a Divisive World

In our conversation today we discus the important benefits of finding calm in a divisive world. The intensity of today’s world where there is so much pain and suffering can be overwhelming. How can we be aware of it, witness it, and move through it without absorbing it? Today we discuss: The challenges we face in today’s world can seem particularly heavy, and how to acknowledge the pain and still protect ourselves enough to show up for our life. 90. Michaela Boehm: The Wild Woman’s Way to Embodiment

Today we are thrilled to talk with Michaela Boehm, the creator of The Non-Linear Movement Method and author of the “Wild Woman’s Way”.  She is a speaker, teacher, intimacy expert and counselor and appears on Gweneth Paltrow’s newest Netflix show “Sex, Love and Goop.” “The wild woman is essentially the representation of us as a natural being in the natural world in the way that we can express when nothing is required of us other than our natural joy and connection.”  —Michaela Boehm Today we discuss: Michaela’s fortunate “natural” upbringing in rural Austria with a strong and open family, and how she found her connection to nature early.  How at 12 years old Michaela made the decision to become a witch, which led to learning about herbs, herb lore and how  early mentors blessed Mikaela’s curiosity with knowledge of nature and healing. The idea that everything is sacred, even the ordinary. MIchaela’s depiction of the wild woman archetype, a reflection of the human experience which existed as stories, folklore, epics and how it represents the connection we all have to nature and it’s cycles. How re-wilding is about re-connecting over and over to our true nature and purpose.-The plight of the modern woman. How navigating the speed of the modern world can be challenging and we can’t have it all, at least not all at once, but balance between “being” and “doing” is the answer. How non-Linear Movement Method, a non-forceful, gentle, energetic practice to identify and help release contractions in the body, is available to anyone. How in order to attain true homeostasis, we need sympathetic and parasympathetic systems working together to help regulate each other. The fact is, it IS the simple things that matter, and we all have the birth rite of movement.  How structure and systems actually create freedom to allow flow which helps create an integrated system of “masculine” and “feminine” energies. Today we are excited to interview Dr. Beth Livingston, co-author of one of Forbes Top 10 Business Books of 2022, Shared Sisterhood: How to Take Collective Action for Racial and Gender Equity at Work (co-authored with Tina Opie). Today we discuss: The connection made through Betsy and Beth’s daughters (both previously on the Barbie episode). Beth’s upbringing as the only girl and youngest of three children in Louisville, Kentucky. How the impact of “bussing” children to different schools to help balance racial inequality, meant a diverse group of friends and strong realtyonships with her brothers’ older friends. How with all of the male influence and sports talk at home Beth found herself seeing race and gender in different ways than the mainstream stereotypes. The way generational racial trauma caused confusion as Beth navigated friendships through high school and into college. How a lack of availability to women and positive interactions with men led to her dissociating from the feminine. Her realization that because of gender inequality and gender stereotypes she needed to reclaim her feminine. Meeting friend and co-writer of Shared Sisterhood, Tina Opie, a strong black woman in academia. How they found similarities and built a relationship that led to not only a deep friendship, but also deep personal growth. Beth shares how building friendship through shared experience, finding understanding, shared values and being open to learning can reveal new truths in gender and racial equity. How Tina and Beth eventually co-wrote Shared Sisterhood, a guide to white and black women navigating friendship and their shared sisterhood. The importance of overcoming fear, individual work and racial work that needs to be done before building bridges with our sisters. Bio: Dr. Beth A. Livingston is the Ralph L. Sheets Associate Professor in Industrial Relations at the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business. The effect of adolescent girls not receiving enough mirroring because adult women and mothers are still “finding themselves”. How a mid-life crisis or awakening leads to a desire to be liberated and freed. 86. Bree Allen: I Fell In Love with Ireland

Today’s episode was recorded in Cork, Ireland during a yoga retreat at Ballymaloe House that Betsy taught (and Kate attended)! Ballmaloe House is a family owned country house, hotel and restaurant nestled in the lush countryside of East Cork. While the beauty, food, and ambience were astounding, what struck us most were the stories of the Irish women who helped envision, build, and sustain this award winning family business. We took a rainy afternoon to sit down with Bree Allen, who married into the Allen family that owns Ballymaloe. Bree was our main point person during the retreat, and we loved her energy, positivity, and the stories she shared about Ballymaloe. In this episode we discuss: Bree’s upbringing in Australia, and what happened at the age of 26 when she decided to backpack through Europe and landed a job at Ballymaloe. Bree’s nontraditional and powerful perspective on love, marriage, and commitment. The many generations of the Allen family that continue to support the Ballymaloe business, and whether they actually all get along! The matriarch of the Ballymaloe House, Myrtle Allen, and how ahead of her time she actually was when she decided to open a farm to table restaurant in the 1960’s. The many layers of powerful, ambitious, entrepreneurial women (some who have married into the Allen family) and how they are supported and encouraged. COLD SWIMMING! Why Bree swims in the cold sea several times a week! 85. Exploring the Three Phases of Womanhood

We are re-releasing an old episode this week because we are in Ireland on a yoga retreat. This episode is the 3 phases of the goddess: the maiden, the mother, and the crone. We’re thrilled to welcome Faith Hunter, an acclaimed author and yogi whose transformative journey—from family challenges to emotional healing through yoga, meditation, and writing—has empowered and inspired many. Today we discuss: Faith’s developmental first decade with Mama Banks, her “second mother”, that taught ways of showing up in the world as a nurturing black woman. Growing up with two brothers who had serious health issues and how Faith felt the need to be the good girl, stay out of the way and not add additional stress to her parents’ lives. Faith’s eventual shedding of the “good girl” persona following a divorce. How it felt to “keep family secrets” related to her brothers’ HIV+ status and the impact this had on relationships. 83. Our Precious Bodies

In this episode we do a personal check in with each other about our past week, which included health scares for both us. In this episode we talk about: -How the body is deeply intelligent and a beautiful mirror to us and when we have symptoms, it is typically a sign that something is out of balance. -Kate shares her story about her week of medical tests looking at her heart function and what that meant for her. -Betsy shares her ongoing struggles with autoimmune issues and inflammation in her body and the challenge of not knowing what’s actually going on. We share a quote from Clarrissa Pinkola Estes in the book “Women Who Run With the Wolves”, “ Like a Rosetta Stone, for those who know how to read it, the body is a living record of life given, life taken, life hoped for, life healed it is valued for its articulate ability to register immediate reaction, to feel profoundly, to sense ahead. She has been published in numerous publications, and her chap book “Break in The Field” was a finalist for the Two Silvias Press Wilder Poetry Book Prize.   Nureyev at the Orpheum Memphis 1987 Two men sat in the row in front of me near the aisle; one, in a sapphire cardigan had his arm around the other, pulling him close as they both sobbed. We were watching Nureyev, who was nearing fifty then, and known as one of the greatest ballet dancers of all time. I was young, just out of college, and didn’t understand their tears. I thought it could be be- cause the famous Russian defector was past his prime. His coil and spring less precise, and the flagrant fling of his crimson cape imperceptibly off tempo. Or, it might have been the nearness of beauty, the push and pull of legend etched in every articulated muscle. Now, as my body begins its own slow defection, I sit between those two men. I rest my head on the one free shoulder, as we all feel the cape of our aging bodies begin to slip to the scratched wooden stage floor, an into a puddle of what lies between beauty and loss. It is a place so beautiful, I weep. ________________________ Easy Fix This is what I’m looking for, the SuperBrainOmeter to produce a ticker-tape explanation of him. Betsy and Kate discuss their impressions of the Barbie movie, some Barbie history, and the empowerment of modern women in a patriarchal society. They also welcome some much younger guests (3 tweens ages 10 and 11) to share their impressions and inspirations. In this episode we discuss: The recently released Barbie movie and its exploration of themes around patriarchy and redefining femininity. The historical context of the creation of Barbie by a woman, co-founder of Mattell, Ruth Handler in 1959. Several themes from the movie that we’ve been talking about routinely on this podcast: Why it’s impossible to be a woman in a patriarchal society Getting out of the box The importance (and sometimes challenge) of really feeling your feelings We bravely bring on 3 “tweens” (Betsy’s daughter and her friends) and ask them their impressions of the movie. Today we discuss: -For much of history women have been silenced, ridiculed, punished, and even killed for their opinions and voices. -The wound of the patriarchy and the many reasons we have learned to swallow our truth. -The concept of gaslighting, which is the psychological manipulation that makes a person question their beliefs, sanity, and truths. -Betsy and Kate share their own personal stories of finding their voices and the barriers they have encountered along the way. They acknowledge that it is a process and a constant work in progress, but they highlight the power and freedom that comes from using their voices to express their authentic selves. -Throat problems can show up as the inability to speak up for yourself, swallowed anger, stifled creativity and a refusal to change. -Ways to use our voices to be the radical change we need right now. “I am constantly amazed at how courageous and radical speaking the truth is. The most activist thing you can do is just speak the truth and search for the truth, and just follow that trail.” —Melissa Ethridge “Stand firmly with what you know in your heart of hearts. Be exactly who you are unapologetically and with great passion and positivity, cultivate an inner courage to speak your truth and out of it action comes.” —Elizabeth Lesser Today’s champion: Judge Rosemarie Aquilina https://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/27156746/journey-judge-rosemarie-aquilina Previous podcasts: Anger: Channel the Fire https://www.tendherwild.com/2022/11/11/anger-channel-the-fire/ Books mentioned: Cassandra Speaks by Elizabeth Lesser https://www.amazon.com/Cassandra-Speaks-Women-Storytellers-Changes/dp/0062887181/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1690550166&sr=8-1 You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay https://www.amazon.com/You-Can-Heal-Your-Life/dp/0937611018/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1FJNX5U7BTILT&keywords=you+can+heal+your+life+by+louise+hay&qid=1690551076&sprefix=You+c%2Caps%2C217&sr=8-1 Movie mentioned: Women Talking Written by Sarah Polley and Miriam Toews Directed by Sarah Polley https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13669038/ Article mentioned: Women, Here Are 10 Important Ways to Use Your Voice https://whatwillittake.com/inspiration/women-here-are-10-important-ways-to-use-your-voice/ Today’s episode sponsored by: Kate Moreland coaching: http://www.katemorelandcoaching.com Heartland Yoga: http://www.heartlandyoga.com Dr Yoga Momma: www.dryogamomma.com Join Betsy, Kate and Kimberly at Ballymaloe House, Ireland for Yoga & Meditation Retreat: September 24-30, 2023 https://www.oneyogaglobal.com/ireland-with-betsy-rippentrop/ For sponsorship opportunities or to partner with us: Partner with us – Tend Her Wild Source

72. The Power of Hypnosis: Debunking Myths and Understanding How it Works

In this episode of the Tend Her Wild podcast, Betsy and Kate discuss the deep world of hypnosis. Hypnosis is often misunderstood and misrepresented in popular culture, but it is a well researched form of deep healing that can be transformative. They also share their personal experiences with hypnosis and the benefits they’ve observed in themselves and clients. The episode ends with Dr Betsy (who has been trained in clinical hypnosis and has been using it for 20 years in her practice) leading a mini-hypnosis session. Today we discuss: What hypnosis is… a well researched, empirically supported technique that supports long term healing. Hypnosis is when you go into a trance state of deep relaxation in the body. When we’re deeply relaxed our minds open and we become very open to suggestion. How normal and regular occurring trance states really are, which is why most people do not believe they have been hypnotized when in fact, they have. Betsy’s self hypnosis during the birth of her three children and the positive effect it had on her experience Kate’s use of self hypnosis before surgery and the effects it had on her recovery The inside scoop behind typical “prom party” hypnosis experiences. At 35:00 minutes, Betsy guides us through a “best self” hypnosis session (NOTE: DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS PART WHILE DRIVING). Uncover the profound wisdom Tracee imparts on the importance of nature, the value of deep relaxation, and the divine creativity that emerges from embracing stillness. 70. Women in Leadership

In today’s conversation Betsy and Kate talk about women’s leadership. Although we have talked about this in passing in many episodes, we dive into it in depth today following an event that happened in the past week. Kate received a community leadership award, and a group of women came to support her. This sparked discussion amongst this group about how all women are leaders and have the power to change systems. Today we discuss: The traits of feminine leadership – compassion, empathy, collaboration, emotional intelligence and relationship building. How Kate worked her way up the corporate ladder, requiring her to lean into masculine traits like ambition, drive, and strength. However, once she became CEO during the Covid crisis she felt she could show up authentically and lean into more feminine traits. How feminine leadership is not leading like a man in a dress. A Forbes article that reports women hold only 26% of c-suite jobs and that the pay gap for women is still 86 cents on the dollar compared to men and 68 cents for black women. The great resignation and how women are leaving the workforce in droves, and reasons for this. Will we ever see a woman be elected President? The shadow side of jealousy and mistrust amongst women, and why this must be overcome. 69. The Power of Healing in Community

As women we have discovered there’s an incredible value in coming together as we heal. Today we share some of our thoughts and observations and honor the work of the community that just came together on our recent Re-wilding retreat in Costa Rica. Today we discuss:-The difference of community verses individual work and the power of an intergenerational community-How the vulnerability of being open in a group can make healing in community more accessible-The synergy created in community that allows freedom of individual healing without the need to over share-When you’re collectively in meditation, yoga or conversation a third energy moves in that guides us toward wholeness as a group as well as individually-The inclination of the feminine energy toward collaboration-How capitalism teaches us our value comes from production -The consistent threads that tie our experiences together and empower us to transcend the space to create healing in relationship -How this works…. Why clearly creating ground rules allows big emotions to surface and be worked through in safety -The ground rules from “The Four Agreements” -Don Miguel Ruiz1) Be impeccable with your word2) Don’t take anything personally3) Don’t make assumptions4) Always do your best-We’re wired to be compassionate, soft, open, forgiving and non-judgemental with people, yet the current productivity culture can pull us away from that way of being-The collective experience of COVID and the global opportunity for collective healing and coming together. There is great power in coming together to heal in community, when one heals we all heal.-Find the groups that support your healing process wherever they are available. If you can’t find one, create one!Quotes by: Johnette Walser“Society and culture really don’t hold space for us to deal with big emotions. Capitalism teaches us we must constantly be productive yet it’s difficult to be productive when you’re dealing with a lot of pain, dealing with a lot of grief, it’s hard to be productive. We talk ourselves out of really being able to sit with what we need to sit with but to be more productive we need to allow for more healing to happen.”Rumi“Shut the thinking door and open the love window.”Referenced today:We Heal Together -Michelle Cassandra JohnsonThe Four Agreements -Don Miguel RuizThe Millionth Circle: How to Change Ourselves and The World-Jean Shinoda Bolen Suggestions for Creating Women’s Circles Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. -Margaret Mead Why? When a critical number of people change how they think and behave, the culture does also, and a new era begins. Women have great power to shift consciousness and the world at large. We need the support, encouragement, and tenderness/fierceness of the sisterhood. A woman’s circle that is trustworthy, has a spiritual center and a respect for boundaries, is a powerful transforming agent for all the women in it. Who? Ideally groups of 4-12 women work well. Not everyone needs to be friends or know each other well. In fact, having people with different perspectives, life experiences, and opinions can provide the richest environment for growth. What? A women’s group is for the purpose of support and inner growth. It’s not necessarily a space for small talk or staying at the surface level. Where? The space can change, but is essential that the space is safe and free of disturbances. How often? This is up to the group. Aligning with the moon cycle can be a nice way to align with the cycles of nature (i.e., meeting on the new moon or on the full moon). How long? This is something the group should decide upon. But maintaining the boundary of a set time is very important. One to two hours is a good amount of time. Is there a leader? It is good for one person to be the chosen facilitator. This person is not the leader per se as women’s groups have no hierarchy. But this person is willing to start and end meetings, and direct the group back to center if distractions occur. How to Begin/End A Circle Center the Circle. Start the circle by either ringing a bell, chanting OM, taking a few moments of silence, lighting a candle, or even speaking the same phrase such as “now we shift from outer focus to inner focus”. Use a talking stick. Who ever wants to speak takes the stick and shares how they are or opens up about any other thing that they are currently facing. After the first round of check ins, the group may decide to do a second round of discussion focused on a topic or a question. Or, people may ask for advice from the group. Another possibility is to spend time dancing, meditating, doing art, or engaging in some other mindful activity. Always close the circle by chanting OM, blowing out the candle, taking a few moments of silence, saying Namaste or ending with a phrase such as “and so it is” Are there important Rules/Boundaries? No talking over each other. No

55. Boundaries & Self Sabotage

In today’s episode of Tend Her Wild Betsy and Kate have a conversation about self sabotage and boundaries. They talk about how they are related to our first 10 years and how they can help us understand how we can return to being a wild woman. A big topic that is so essential, boundaries are hard for everyone but seem to be especially hard for women based on many factors not the least the culture we live in. It effects us all and it’s something we all struggle with. Some topics covered in today’s episode: -How impactful yet difficult setting boundaries can be. -How boundaries relate to the wild woman, the woman who’s turned to her natural essence. -Why the midlife awakening pushes us to shed old layers and lead us to set new boundaries. -Why saying “no” is a way of healing. When we say no, we let go of needing validation, praise and people pleasing, and can remind ourselves of our inherent worthiness rather than a manufactured worthiness. -Recognizing self sabotage and managing rejection.
