In Star Wars The Last Jedi Trailer we saw a shot of Kylo Ren's new lightsaber in the throne room of Supreme Leader Snoke. The lightsaber has caused many to wonder and question as to why it looks so different than in Star Wars The Force Awakens. The answer is quite simple and it's from the extended edition of episode 7 where Rey vs Kylo Ren in a fight. I hope we see more of Kylo constructing his saber in The Last Jedi, along with him fighting Luke Skywalker. The Star Wars The Last Jedi Trailer has given us something we didn't really understand...the Jedi have been cemented into our beliefs as the end all be all philosophy in Star Wars...so why would Luke Skywalker tell us that they must end? In this video we'll breakdown exactly why he says this (to the best of my knowledge and sources) and what it means for Star Wars The Last Jedi, Rey, Kylo Ren, and of course Luke Skywalker himself. A bonus note at the end, to our surprise, he does learn how to deflect it, which brings many theories as to why Luke Skywalker's hand in The Force Awakens is just a skeleton. In episode 2, we know she died after being kidnapped, tortured and most likely abused by the Tuscan Raiders, causing him to literally annihilate the entire village, killing the men, women, and children too. This was one of his large steps into the dark side world, and what I believe was the taste he needed to make him crave that power until his final transformation at palpatine’s side. In the NEW CANON novel From a Certain Point of View The Return of the Jedi, Disney decides to make it so that Obi-Wan never told Luke about Vader because of the DARK SIDE IN HIM. This is the most absurd ridiculous bit of nonsense I've seen as of lately from Disney changing the Star Wars canon. I'm tired of this. Stop changing the story George Lucas wrote and interjecting your own made up garble, Disney. We should be preserving the story and only ENHANCING it, not changing key reasons as to why main characters did things. Do you agree or disagree? Learn more about your ad choices. Baylon Skoll, the villainous fallen Jedi survivor from Order 66 turned mercenary has many fans angry that Disney is making too many Jedi Survivors from Order 66 in the new Star Wars canon. Focusing on quality is a step in the right direction...however doing so because Solo bombed and deeming it an 'aggressive star wars approach' because of the many star wars projects isn't accurate in my opinion. By having Solo following The Last Jedi, Disney and Lucasfilm felt the hit and loss much harder because of the fan's reception. I feel any film would have tanked a bit after The Last Jedi, even an awesome Darth Maul film would have suffered a bit compared to if it had followed a great reception to Episode 8's release. Kathleen Kennedy said Solo bombed because it didn't have deepfake...so which one is it here? What's the real answer? Do they know? Something I really want to see is Order 66 flashbacks. However, I don’t want to see it from the point of view of the Jedi or any of the good guys, or heck even the clones. I want to see it from Anakin’s perspective. We’ve seen Order 66 from the points of view of everyone except Anakin himself who led the attack. In Revenge of the Sith we saw it from the point of the view of the Jedi, in the battlefront 2 game in 2005 we saw it from the pov of the clones, in the bad batch we saw it from Kanan’s perspective and of course the bad batch themselves. In the Clone Wars it was from Ahsoka’s perspective. In Book of Boba Fett it was from Grogu’s eyes. We have seen everyone’ reaction to Order 66 except for Anakin’s and for this reason I think we’ll get the most compelling version of Order 66, from the dark lord’s perspective himself. Perhaps Vader will be reflecting on Order 66 from his chamber and remembering everything he did there that night. In revenge of the Sith we got to see Anakin taking out Jedi in some holograms as obi-wan watched in shock, and we even saw Palpatine arrive at the Jedi Temple to congratulate Vader on his victory. I feel these could all be things that we witness now from Anakin’s perspective, or rather should I say Vader. Imagine this scenario, Obi-Wan says, what would Padme think? And this obviously really hits Vader, or rather, Anakin deep within himself. So he retaliates by hurting Kenobi, It could be a moment of anger when Vader remembers, telling Obi-Wan of just how violent he was at the temple. The things he did. As he’s describing it, we get the flashbacks from his perspective, and we finally get to see just how powerful he was. We saw Anakin fight Dooku, and once he tapped into the dark side, it was over in a matter of seconds. Beyond that duel, we didn’t see him fight anyone else other than Obi-Wan. I think it’d be fun to see him clash sabers with fellow Jedi masters like Cin Drallig, the temple’s lightsaber instructor, or any of the other masters and knights who were powerful in their own rights, but nothing compared to the chosen one. I think it would help draw Anakin’s arc even further into the dark side if we saw just how much he struck fear into those he once protected and fought alongside. It would add much more weight to Revenge of the Sith, and that’s definitely something to not take lightly. This show will change how we see Revenge of the Sith forever. That could be a great thing, or a bad thing, it all depends on the delivery and what they try to embellish. Much like the clone wars only added positively to Anakin’s character, as well as the others, I hope the obi Wan Kenobi show will do the same to revenge of the Sith in flashbacks, as well as the original trilogy for Vader going forwards. The Clone Wars Finale is here and with it, this massive breakdown of all things missed, particularly, the ending... Vader's transformation is complete, and we see the lingering Anakin from within the black clad suit at the very end as he hold's Ahsoka's lightsaber. The ending was very heavy and moving, as was the rest of the episode. I feel I have more questions now than before I saw the episode.
