Ahsoka Episode 3 brings us something I didn't think Dave Filoni would venture deep into...and that's discussing the force and how everyone has it...yet...why most can't use it. This is something George Lucas has discussed decades ago and I know many fans will not understand this too well, but I assure you, it's what George has mentioned all along. Gifted with precognitive Force visions, over a decade before the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas, who had a seat on the Jedi High Council prior to the occupation of Naboo, commissioned the Kaminoans to grow a clone army for the Galactic Republic. The Jedi Master had experienced visions of the galaxy being ravaged by a coming war, but when he attempted to warn his fellow Jedi about it, his colleagues on the Council didn’t believe him and when the Jedi Master wouldn’t let go of his notions, the Order removed him from the High Council. Certain in the veracity of the visions the Force had revealed to him,Sifo-Dyas instead decided to pursue the matter on his own in secret. He believed the Republic would need an army of their own to prevail against the coming darkness. So, pretending to work under the authorization of the Jedi Council and the Galactic Senate, Sifo-Dyas made contact with the Kaminoan cloners, and asked them to create the Grand Army of the Republic for him. However, unknown to the Jedi Master, the Sith had become aware of his project and they began to engineer events so control of the clones would fall to them instead. Learn more about your ad choices. IG Series droids were the most lethal droids out there...however, there's a rich history in Star Wars that makes them extremely interesting. Did you know Boba Fett fought IG-88 and destroyed him? We actually see parts of the droid in The Empire Strikes Back with Vader and Luke on Bespin's Cloud City. They almost took over the galaxy if Palpatine's Death Star hadn't been destroyed by Vader, Luke and the Rebels in Return of the Jedi. In Star Wars Revenge of the Sith, there was the original concept of Anakin Skywalker being present during Palpatine's fight with the Jedi and Mace Windu, where he offers his blue lightsaber to Sidious. It was later deleted and changed to Anakin showing up when he did, to eventually turn into Darth Vader before Order 66...however before this, the concept was there and filmed to have him walk over Kit Fisto, Agen Kolar and Saesee Tin, the Jedi Masters that Palpatine defeated so effortlessly. In the novel, it's also different, where Anakin shows up to walk over the bodies and view the speed of Mace and Palpatine as they dance in colors of red and purple, however he is NOT present during the initial arrest and does not throw his lightsaber to Palpatine to use. In the Ahsoka show, Baylan Skoll is the dark Jedi who wields the orange lightsaber. I believe he is conflicted and will not be able to defeat Ahsoka based on his good will and former allegiance to the Jedi before Order 66 and Darth Vader. I think he will sacrifice himself for Ahsoka or maybe even Shin Hati, and then be eliminated by Thrawn or someone more powerful. Palpatine was thrown down the shaft in Return of the Jedi by Darth Vader, and survived as we saw in Star Wars Episode 9 The Rise of Skywalker. How did he do this? Did he go splat and then force heal? Did he do something else? We now know from the Rise of Skywalker novelization. I think this all ties in with Baby Yoda and The Mandalorian. I believe it's a way for the Empire to splice genes of The Child and see if they can make a vessel worthy for the Emperor to live forever after transferring his essence. Some fans have gone to the net to express their disdain for the acting in the Ahsoka show, saying it's boring and mid and lacks emotion. Here's what I think about this...much like how Hayden purposefully acted the way he did to keep the same cadence as Darth Vader when playing Anakin Skywalker, I believe Ahsoka, Hera and Sabine are doing the same given the current state of their lives and the galaxy. In today's episode, let's go over a conversation George Lucas had with Lawrence Kasdan about killing Luke so that Yoda could train Leia. They went back and forth on it and it was all documented. George reveals why he doesn't believe in killing main characters in movies, and I have to agree with him on some level for sure. I also believe Rian Johnson's idea of killing characters adds weight to the story, just as Kasdan said, however, if the death is going to be of the main hero for over 40 years, it better be a deserving one. Hey everyone! I have compiled the two part Fan-Fic of What if Obi-Wan Kenobi DIDN'T Leave Anakin Skywalker on Mustafar into one long 'movie' for your enjoyment, uninterrupted. This episode follows the events in an alternate Star Wars universe where Anakin Skywalker isn't left to die on Mustafar in Revenge of the Sith, later to be taken by Palpatine. Rather, he is taken by Obi-Wan with Padme to safety where he can be healed and hopefully turned. During the Clone Wars, B1 Battle droids were abundant, but the superior version of them, BX Battle Droids, were lethal against Clone Troopers. In today’s fan-fiction we’ll be taking a spin on the Star Wars universe and visiting the comedic scenario on what if Vader was addicted to bacta. Now typically in my fan-fictions, I like to be as serious and accurate as I can be. Staying true to the characters that George Lucas wrote, and seeing where the story would lead if a few events were to slightly shift from the story we know. In today’s fan fiction, we won’t be doing that. We’ll be taking a scenario that may be happening somewhere in a multiverse in a galaxy far, far away. This will be written in the same fashion as my what if obi-wan was addicted to death sticks episode, which was one of my earlier fan-fictions done about 5 years ago. Something I see many fans question, is why the Jedi never just freed all the slaves on Tatooine and other parts of the galaxy? There are two answers to this. The main one being, the slaves had bombs in them that would detonate should they leave the planet. The second is because Hutt controlled Tatooine was not a place of jurisdiction for the Jedi. Not that they'd lose a fight there, but starting something that big with the Hutts, would surely complicate matters for the Jedi, and it wouldn't look good to the rest of the galaxy. They were better off focusing on The Clone Wars and fighting for peace that way. Padme did try to free Anakin's mom, Shmi Skywalker, but failed. The two would fight an incredible duel. As molten lava surrounded them. Anakin would be wary of Yoda’s speed, and his small stature which proved difficult to fight against. Yoda would need to be cautious of the youthful energy that Skywalker possessed. His stamina was natural, and didn’t require the force to enhance. Whereas Yoda pulled from the force to enhance his speed and agility due to his old age. He couldn’t fight like this forever, regardless how powerful he was in the force. The most difficult versus series episode I've ever done. Luke Skywalker (Mandalorian Season 2) vs Anakin Skywalker (Revenge of the Sith). Anakin and Luke are my favorite characters, so this is very tough and unbiased for me to analyse...but I believe my analysis is fair and with reasons. Anakin Skywalker in Revenge of the Sith was still brash, arrogant, untamed. While stronger than Luke, Luke was more focused, more calm, more of a true Jedi Master...more like Qui-Gon Jinn. Luke Skywalker (Mandalorian Season 2 version) was a much more powerful version of Obi-Wan Kenobi (Revenge of the Sith). Obi-Wan wasn't ask powerful as Anakin, yet he still won. Why? Because he waited for Anakin to make an error. He waited for the opening. He stayed consistent in his defence long enough for Anakin to faulter, and that's why he won. Not because he was more powerful, but because he was more experienced. More level headed. More patient. I believe if Luke can take Anakin out quickly, before Anakin's rage continues to climb, then Luke wins. This second episode was awesome! We have a new galaxy to explore in Star Wars with new villains and powers beyond the Jedi and Sith. Baylan says that galaxy, Peridea has power that we have never seen before. I believe this is a galaxy with a new set of rules. New people. New powers. Powers beyond the force, perhaps Magic. I think it’s absolutely brilliant how Dave has created another galaxy, many of them in fact, and is introducing new civilizations that make even Baylan, a powerful Jedi who survived Order 66, amazed. Ahsoka and Hera observe the hyperdrives being dismantled on Corellia to be repurposed to the New Republic, as they learn that ex Imperials work for the new republic, still on pay roll. They were never fired, they all kept their same job just no longer under the Empire. They talk about Sabine becoming Ahsoka’s apprentice again, and Ahsoka is reluctant. A medical droid attends to Sabine’s wounds, this is the same class of droid that worked on Anakin as he transformed into Darth Vader. Huyang walks in and tells Sabine that Ezra’s lightsaber is actually now hers because she has modified it to her liking. He hands it to her after some encouraging words, and she is going to get serious now instead of being such a rebellious brat. We learn that these dismantled imperial fleet ships when sold are profitable to fund many different republic projects among other things. As Hera notices the hyperdrive core outside being built, they’re told 9 have been built. This core is WAY too big to be used for any new republic ship. The information is classified and General Hera Syndulla is being denied. Ahsoka asks about the HK assassin droids that could be repurposed here, as they learn a droid of this class does exist here, currently departing on that transport. The traitorous workers scream FOR THE EMPIRE and attack Ahsoka and Hera, as Hera races for the Ghost and Ahsoka jumps out the window facing Marrok. The inquisitor loyal to Baylan it seems, as he holds a red lightsaber. They fight as Hera chases the hyperdrive core being transported. Chopper tries to find the tracker, as he throws a literal big LEGO piece out, finally finding the tracker. This is hilarious. Marrock can’t take Ahsoka and ends up running away to his or her ship. I have no clue who this is. It could be Barris Offee I think, but I don’t know. Ashoka dodges his lightsaber as it returns to him, she’s in control of all emotions and can sense everything. She’s very samurai. Very one with the force. Sabine heads back home, lays her Mandalorian armor out like a Samurai, kneels before it which is very ritual like, and cuts her hair. The imperial loyalists on Corellia are arrested. Also, for a fun fact, Corellia is where Han Solo was raised. Sabine sends a holo to Ahsoka of her in armor. She’s ready. We’re now at the very end of Rebels where she dawns the armor, observing the mural of the ghost crew, touching Ezra’s face, turning to see Ahsoka there to pick her up. We’re now all caught up and ready to find Ezra…and…THRAWN. Huyang informs them Hera Syndulla has tracked the ship, they’re in Denab system, in orbit around the planet Seatos. As the hyperdrive cores are being put together, we can see this is HUGE. Clearly something big enough for a massive ship to be launched into hyperspace…or perhaps…open a portal using the power of the hyperdrive cores. Learn more about your ad choices. A lot happened in this episode and I have to say beyond Ahsoka Tano, I am really interested in Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati as they navigate their way through the story with Morgan Elsbeth to find Thrawn (and Ezra). He was so close, and the fact that he didn’t just force pull the plans from the Rebel always made me wonder if he purposely let them get away, maybe he wanted it to explode because of his infatuation with the force triumphing over technological weapons. Mace Windu was a revered Jedi Master. Highly respected on the council in throughout the galaxy, he never showed fear towards the Sith or any of his enemies. The first time Mace showed some sort of concern or fear, was during this scene in Shatterpoint, which isn't canon anymore, as it's not legends material. I find it also interesting how he senses something like the battle on Geonosis would happen again. I suspect he must have felt Order 66, but didn't know exactly what to expect as to how catastrophic it was. Anakin Skywalker turned his back on the Jedi during Order 66, and I believe the second time Mace actually showed fear, was when Anakin took his hand and Palpatine blasted him with lightning.
