In this old Star Wars book that was released when George Lucas was still the owner of Lucasfilm and Star Wars, before selling to Disney, it is revealed as to how Palpatine was going to return to take Anakin Solo...who I believe in this scenario could be Kylo Ren (taken after Jacen Solo). Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon part 1 was something I was anticipating. While I had high hopes for a new Star Wars film, I was left feeling more or less disappointed with the anti-climactic ending to this part 1 and the length of exposition in this movie. I found the first half to be engaging and thrilling, while the second didn't perform the same, for me. I wish Zack a ton of success in part 2 and hope to really enjoy the conclusion to his film. "I think we understood what Anakin was going through, and why he was making some choices that perhaps weren’t the best" - Hayden Christensen Many people miss this, especially the whole toxic positivity fellows (interesting folk...) who fail to see that Anakin's fall was understandable. Regardless of how evil his choices were, we can see where he went wrong, and WHY he went wrong. The failure of the council and the Jedi to guide the already sensitive Anakin, led to his (and their) downfall. The fall of Anakin is artistic in the sense that it shows what he is doing is WRONG and EVIL but more so it makes us see him as flawed and human. That is the tragedy of Darth Vader. That is what humanizes Anakin as a character. That even through all these bad choices and atrocities, it's still never too late to make a change and turn it all around to be a better person. But that's not what toxic positivity will allow you to voice. They simply want to say... ANAKIN = EVIL IF YOU LIKE ANAKIN YOU = EVIL there's so much to cinema that I think it requires a level of thinking that I think a child can even grasp to understand the premiss and psychology of Skywalker, and that it was just as much the council's fault that he turned, as it was Anakin's. Obi-Wan Kenobi spent 20 years on Tatooine after Revenge of the Sith. He was mandated with watching over Luke Skywalker, the new hope, and the last Jedi (see what I did there). On Mustafar during Order 66, Anakin killed the entire Separatist membership with the swish of his lightsaber. In the Jedi Temple, he battled many Jedi Masters, Padawans, and Younglings. These were all scenes that were shot, at least more than what was put in the final version of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith. I believe there is a full George Lucas cut of Revenge of the Sith, with tons more of Anakin during Order 66 that was filmed. I hope to one day see it. Learn more about your ad choices. George Lucas wrote 50 scripts on his show about the Underworld of Coruscant. This proposed show was being worked on before Disney bought Star Wars from George Lucas. This show, in my opinion, gave inspiration to The Mandalorian. I think we'll see lots of tie ins in the show eventually. Luke Skywalker had 2 lightsabers. He had his father's, Anakin Skywalker...until Vader cut his hand off and the weapon with it. Later, he used the journal of Obi-Wan Kenobi to build his own lightsaber. It took a month, but he finally did it, and when he ignited the beautiful green blade, he knew this was his new weapon to defeat Vader and Palpatine. In Star Wars episode 9 we will see Kylo's lightsaber...however let's go over a theory I have regarding the use of Luke's GREEN lightsaber crystal. I believe Kylo took his lightsaber upon the destruction of the Jedi Temple (we saw flashbacks in The Last Jedi) and tried to make it bleed, however, he failed. If he didn't take Luke's, then he made his own crystal bleed, and failed. This is my theory on why his lightsaber flickers and what we could possibly expect...who knows until Episode 9 comes out.
