It takes a lot of work to compress a person into one title.Rather than ask a child what they want to be when they grow up, it can be better to ask them what they want to do for the next few years. What you want to do can change. Not enough schools teach financial literacy for teens and kids either.It can be an incredibly complicated and individualized topic. Educating yourself about finances requires time and effort to figure out how it works.It's essential to encourage people to talk about money. It can be hard to have this conversation because many are afraid of it.Having more conversations about money can lead to an exponential increase in financial literacy. All he needs to do is start. They're celebrating their 200th episode, and the rest is history.[05:04] Facing ChallengesMost podcasts experience podcast fade. They fade out after a few episodes and eventually stop releasing new content.Tim never faced this challenge. He loves interviewing people and having the opportunity to ask and learn new things. For him, there is no shortage of things to talk about.His biggest challenge is that he's a generalist. He wants to avoid narrowing down his audience, making discoverability a challenge.[06:59] Tim, Live on AirTim would love to do a live TV show.There have been times when they've prepared to start a live show but have yet to do one.Tim and Glori are taking their time to pause before truly going live.[08:15] Tim’s Favorite EpisodesAn episode close to Tim's heart is the very first episode. He talked about their lives and shared stories of their most challenging times.Another favorite solo episode of his focuses on where the name Seek Go Create came from back in early 2020.His favorite interview moment was the episode with Quan Huynh, an ex-convict who has written a book. Tim and Quan had a powerful conversation about forgiveness.Society today doesn't easily forgive others and yourselves. Here, Alex was blessed to play in front of thousands of people.An idol is anything that takes the worship or admiration of God. You might see some of the most intense worship in football games.Unfortunately, there’s a temptation in sports and in other possible idols to build your identity on them.As a player, people will place an identity on you. You might find yourself attaching your value and self-worth to something as fickle as other people’s opinions.Alex learned from Scripture that we could defeat this temptation by relying on the truth written in the Bible. When women want to build a career, they need the flexibility to juggle their job and home responsibilities. Not all systems can offer that.[26:39] Learning More About CocoCoco was born in Malaysia. Her father is a professor at the University of Malaysia, while her mother was a social worker. Her father was researching cocoa beans as a commodity and thought it would be fun to name her after them. Coco's experience with her name had been a mix of positives and negatives. On the one hand, it's a memorable name. On the other hand, some want to change her name. [31:52] Coco’s Redefinition of Success She shares how she wrapped her identity to a company she worked for 17 years. Coco made Athena Alliance out of a dinner group with female chief information officers while thinking about what to do next. Now, Coco’s success is about changing the world for the better.
