Dan shares two stories. The first one is a big one. We’ll visit the Gunter Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. Did an infamous murder committed there in 1965 lead to the hotel gaining a reputation for being particularly haunted? The history at the top of this tale is awesome! Dan comes with his usual two stories this week. One bigger one, and then a little one. We’ve done a fair amount of haunted asylum stories here over the years, but few with as detailed of a backstory as today’s. We will start by learning about Henry Cotton - a truly mad doctor who worked at the New Jersey State Hospital at Trenton, now The Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. The we will explore if his ghost now haunts the abandoned portions of this facility. Then, Dan dives into the creepy legend of a supposedly cursed doll named, Joliet. Has this doll been killing newborn babies for decades? Is this a family of Donna's? Let's find out. Then, Lynze has two really intense stories as well and she offers a warning at the top of the show for all parents- these are going to tug at your heartstrings. In her first story, she will share a story about a young child who drowns and nearly doesn't come back. But when she does, does she bring something, or someone, with her? Wrapping up the show, she has a story about a group of friends who go camping but come back minus a friend who seems to have simply vanished. Dan has two excellent scares this week. The first comes from friend of one of our staff. It is CREEPY. What starts off looking like a bad case of sleep paralysis or nightmares ends up being a very real case of an encounter with a pair of disturbing entities. The first story this week is about a long haul trucker who had quite the night out on the road alone in the middle of heavily forested area on the East Coast. He saw something, a couple somethings, maybe. The creepiness lingers on this one. The the second story is set in the little unincorporated community of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana, located just outside of Terre Haute. A small Roman Catholic liberal arts college, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods is supposedly haunted by the spirit of a faceless nun. The back half of the show features two tales. The first is about the hat man but not how we are used to seeing him and not acting as he normally does. Is it possible that the hat man can find us in our waking hour and be of help to us? Then, a final story about a cryptid we met back in an episode in the first year of the show by the same name, the rake. This fan encounter will leave you feeling twitchy. Dan has a murder-mystery-nightmare double header this week. I have a murder mystery double feature. The story of a woman harassed by a psychopath, both before AND after her death, was she not harassed by a psychopath, but something else? The second story is another report of a young woman being murdered under strange circumstances regarding her possible killer, and allegations of a haunting that has followed her death. For Dan's first story in this poltergeist double feature, we head to Birmingham, England.
