It's common for MLB players to eventually have children grow up to be professional players as well. The fun part is when those children end up playing for the same team as their father. In the history of the Rockies they have just one father/son duo in the form of Eric Young Sr. and Jr. An original Rockie in 1993, Sr. was a key player for the Rockies until he was traded in 1997, and he eventually came back to coach. This week Skyler and Evan discuss the disastrous start to the Colorado Rockies' season in which they were absolutely trounced in their Opening Day matchup against the Arizona Diamondbacks 16-1 in the desert. Leading up to that, the Rockies made several roster decisions including adding Alan Trejo and Victor Vodnik to the Opening Day roster and designating prospect Warming Bernabel for assignment. The Rockies also announced the cable option for watching games this season.
