What role does someone like Jake Cave play on this team and why is it important? Meanwhile, the rash of Rockies injuries is still less than ideal, but multiple key players are either coming back at last like Kyle Freeland or are very close to returning like Germán Márquez. The lads also take a look at the bright future presented by the Colorado Rockies farm system on all levels, but especially the young men with the High-A Spokane Indians and the Double-A Hartford Yard Goats, both of whom clinched first half playoff berths.
