This week Evan and Skyler discuss the rapidly approaching trade deadline after the Colorado Rockies made their first move in dealing right-handed pitcher Nick Mears to the Milwaukee Brewers. Rockies fans also dealt with a little scare when Brenton Doyle was removed from Sunday's game early, but no other trades have been made at time of recording. The Rockies also had a fun series with the Boston Red Sox that led to Cal Quantrill becoming the newest Rockies folk hero while Red Sox players sought to deliver him comeuppance. The wind was promptly taken out of the Rockies' sails when they traveled to San Francisco and were promptly swept in an ugly series where they struck out 53 times.
