Shadows Pub is a 60plus woman who resides in a small community in eastern Ontario, Canada. She originally adopted her online name as a privacy measure online and it has since become her online persona and increasingly her brand. No, the name is not a person seated in the shadowy corner of the local pub getting soused. The Pub in her name refers to Shadows Publishing under which she creates and publishes journals and colouring books. Shadows has been a writer most of her life but only really pursuing it while at home during the pandemic. Being a person with a wide range of interests and willing to head down learning rabbit holes, Shadows never really settled into a writing niche. In 2022, after hearing many people who felt the same about ‘finding a niche’ she decided to embrace nichelessness and created a website, newsletter and podcast that celebrated her nichelessness called Nicheless And Loving It. She wrote and explored creativity on her terms without feeling pressure to settle into one. In June 2023 she started down a path that would challenge her Nicheless nature. Curious to improve her use of the generative art engine Midjourney, she started playing with random words to create images. One thing led to another and she soon found she was using a word, it’s meaning and how it was used to create a different image every day. Shadows has always explored personal growth and her spirituality. She soon decided to use that perspective for how she explored the words and created the images. What has become the Daily Echo came together in layers. The word and the image evolved to the word, image and a relevant quote. Shadows followed the pull to create them daily throughout the last half of 2023 while still pursuing the Nicheless part of her nature. By early 2024 she realized that this project had taken on a life of its own and had become a part of her daily life, she named it the Daily Echo. AI is used extensively to develop the background material for each word and to provide feedback on the quote and now, comments, that Shadows writes each day. She’s open about the use of AI as a tool for development but will not use it to replace her own writing. She was introduced to the platform Go Brunch during 2024 and started experimenting with creating some virtual rooms on there. She built a virtual art gallery on there in September 2024 to showcase a sample of her Daily Echoes during the first 500 days that she was approaching on October 27th. In November during National Podcast Posting Month she undertook to create a podcast for 30 of her Echoes as part of the challenge to publish 30 podcasts in 30 days. Her goal was to create reflections 5 to 8 minutes in length using the extensive notes she had from creating the echoes and some additional material she added specific to the quote and comment. She completed 8 of them but will continue with a weekly podcast in 2025. She’s built a group of rooms for the Echoes on Go Brunch that includes:the original Art GalleryLife of an Echo where you can explore a brief overview of how Echoes are made. Media room where people can list to the podcastsLobby to find their way aroundroom to join an email list to receive the Echoes every morningDiscussion Salon where she’s planning to host discussions in 2025 https://gobrunch.com/events/373103/569447She has some other ideas for 2025 that will be worked on as well. It has become very clear to her that while she started 2024 as a Nicheless person, this niche has become a central part of her life. The words are not selected by her, they are generated randomly by Ai. Shadows finds the journey of getting to know the words and how they connect with the perspective of personal growth and spiritual journey like a new adventure every day. From the words she’d never heard of and seem totally unrelated, to the words she was already familiar with taking on perspectives she’d never considered, there is always something to learn. I found myself in multiple rehab centers and hospital admissions. My darkest moment came in February of 2019 when I faced the stark reality of a serious DUI, a moment that could have changed lives irreversibly. I was facing several severe charges and a possible 1-5-year state prison sentence. You would have thought I stopped there, but it took a little longer. During my last hospitalization, I felt like God had met me there. That is when I finally cried out to him for help.I understand the significance of peer support; I had a peer who met me in the hospital and helped me start off on my recovery journey. It was a long road, though it did not happen overnight. I came back from rehab and attended 48 sessions of intensive outpatient sessions. I also began to rebuild my life, and I was remarried to my husband Tom, who has incredibly supported me. The unwavering love and support of my family have shaped my journey.I have been blessed and experienced so much restoration that it feels so good So, I made a promise to God and myself to go back and help pull others out of the grips of addiction and walk with them. I since achieved my bachelor's degree in Addiction and Recovery Counseling, certification as a Certified Recovery Specialist, and Foundations of Mental Health Coaching certification through Light University. I am in the process of completing two other certifications through them.My faith in God serves as the cornerstone of my sobriety, a steadfast anchor in the tumultuous sea of life. My mission is simple: to be the light in someone else's journey, guiding them toward a future defined not by their past but by the boundless potential of what lies ahead. Soon after she was diagnosed with breast cancer and determined to continue her journey she had surgery before she went and climbed to 15,000 feet of elevation in Tanzania.At 15000 ft Tiffany fell and became hypoxic, she had to choose to go down the mountain. I lived a childhood life of getting sick and dealing with mental issues. But, I was on a full time faith based mission in east LA when I got extremely sick and doctors couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. I went through a year of tests all while still trying to share God’s word. I felt like the woman with the blood issue searching for the Savior so I could feel of his love and healing power. One day, I felt a calming peace and felt His love. As soon as I can to that realization, I receive a call from the doctor (it was the 8th doctor and specialist I had been to) with the medical diagnosis and treatment that would help me feel better. This marked my turning point to taking my life back and focusing on the outcomes I can control. Now, my mission statement is the question, “What is the moral of your story?” It’s about defining life values and shaping our outcomes. Linda S. Plunkett has a PhD in Biblical Psychology and is an ordained minister. She is a speaker and the author of two books, “Supernatural Rescue: From Broken to Beautiful” and “How to Live a Positive Life in a Negative World: My Uphill Journey.” Linda was diagnosed with a tumor the size of a tennis ball growing in her brain’s frontal lobe – unbeknownst to her – and underwent successful brain surgery to have it removed. However, eight months into her recovery she was stricken with fibromyalgia, which she says was worse than the brain surgery. Apostle Donna Barber has been in ministry for over 40 yrs. She and her husband, Darrell founded Good News Worship Ctr. in 1992 and served as Senior Pastors until September 2020. She is Co-founder of Empowering Life Ministries which serves to equip the church and it’s leadership with knowledge and wisdom to establish the Kingdom of God. The heart of her ministry is to empower people to live an overcoming life in Christ. She walks in the gifts of the Spirit and preaches in a style to give the hearer an "out of the box" look at the Word of God. Apostle Donna has had the opportunity to preach in Haiti, Canada, Thailand, Burma, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Cuba, as well as many states in USA. She has been privileged to preach to millions in Nicaragua through their Christian TV station. Apostle Donna continues to mentor, counsel and disciple many through her the revelation insight from the Holy Spirit. She holds a Bachelor of Biblical Studies Degree in Biblical Studies (TH.B.). Donna and Darrell will celebrate 46yrs of marriage in March of 2023. She has 2 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Tamala May, a Christian author and speaker, built a career by serving others in the healthcare industry. After twenty-one years of serving God in this role she found herself amid a deep personal crisis that led to a brokenness she had never known before. As a result of her brokenness, she sought the Lord and found new depths of faith and conviction. She began to lead Bible studies and encourage others in their daily spiritual walk. Over time, she discovered an anointing from God and began writing messages that she received from God.
