I’ve seen this happen a lot throughout my years in business.People do something proactive; they pull in a lot of interest to their offer, they'll end up landing a bunch of clients and at that point, they get really busy and very productive, they have a lot of sales and income come in.But while they're focused on those current customers and serving people, they stop doing what they did to attract those people. You don't need a big list or a big audience when you have the correct aligned offer.Focus on serving the right people. I’m giving you permission to pivot!As I often say, marketing is testing. If you want to be productive, you need to stop multitasking!Did you know that switching tasks and multitasking takes a lot of energy? Each time you switch tasks your brain has to play catch up.Instead of trying to do everything at once or trying to jump from thing to thing, sit down and really designate time to accomplish each thing. Allow yourself to get into a flow state. Do your research!Research is the first step before you get started with building your lead magnet but it's often a step that people skip over.It's very easy to skip past and get right to create an awesome lead magnet that's beautifully designed. But if that lead magnet doesn't speak into the problem, it's not going to do your audience any good.Don’t make that mistake. When it comes to list building, you only need to solve one problem for your audience. You don’t need to solve all their problems at once! I know it's super tempting and you want to help and solve a lot of their problems all in one sitting but when you do that, it can be very overwhelming for them.
