Ep 145That Thing About 7- Stories up and Walking Through The Valley of Death

In This episode we have a conversation with a decorated firefighter /EMT whose career of saving people's lives came to a culmination atop a pile of rubble at Ground Zero on 9/11, when he was seven stories up helping take apart that pile of rubble piece by piece, by hand. He stopped to rest and sat down and when he looked down the street, all he saw was the gray cement color over everything: the buildings, the windows, the street, the cars, he saw nothing but a big corridor of gray. He paused and looked to the left to see clear perfect blue sky. He looked right and again saw clear perfect blue sky, he looked above him and saw clear perfect blue sky. He then looked back down the gray corridor and said to himself “I just walked through the valley of death.” He again looked up and prayed that nothing fell on top of him, or his colleagues, and that they make it home alive. Does your life move forward? Or do you try and force your life back to what was once a routine and move on? You’re going to learn that, and how you too can move forward in life when you are faced with life changing decisions… I'm your host Michael Herst and this is That Thing About 7 Stories up and Walking through the Valley of Death. My guest in is episode is Alan pacer is a decorated retired firefighter/EMT that was one of the responders to Ground Zero on 9/11. Like so many that changed his life, some PTSD, decisions to go back into a different type of toxic environment, divorced and raising his high functioning autistic son alone his life journey was re-invented, and he was able to take what he called a side hustle, and turn it into a multimillion dollar corporation, and takes his experiences on the road to help others overcome their fear and achieve their visions and reinvent their lives, and we are going to share that journey and help you learn how to overcome and achieve your happiness.  Find ut more at https://beforeyougopodcast.comThis podcast uses the following third-party services for analysis: Podcorn - https://podcorn.com/privacy

Ep 138That Thing About Letters From the Other Side -Revisted

During the holidays it's always rough when we lose someone and especially if you lose them in and around the holidays because every time that holiday comes around not only do we remember them because they were close to us but also because we lost them during a holiday. So for this throwback Friday revisit I want to share with you one of my favorite episodes originally episode 6 when I was first getting started. I spoke with Marisa Meddin she is a Clairvoyant Medium who specializes in contact with the other side via writing and letters. She reminds us that we have the opportunity to still say what we want to say or still communicate with the other side by writing them a letter, or by closing our eyes put a pen in our hand put the paper in front of us and possibly have them write a letter to us. So in lieu of the fact that we have lost so many people over the last couple of years, and many of us are now experiencing a first or second Christmas without someone, please enjoy this look back on one of my favorite episodes right before we celebrate this holiday in 2021. We will continue next week with some Christmas episodes that are very very special. In this episode “That Thing About Messages from the Other Side” with Marisa Meddin a Clairvoyant Medium who has a unique gift of talking to the other side and transcribing that message to you via a written letter. Through a variety of clairvoyant, medium, and online reading, Marisa communicates with your loved one in a unique way that may answer your questions, and provide through them the guidance you have been looking for to take the next steps in your life! If you didn’t get to say goodbye, or that one more thing you or they wanted to say here is your chance to get some closure. You will learn how a psychic medium could be the resource you need to connect, heal, and move forward in your life, and to recognize the signs they are sending to let you know they are near.
