S1 Ep 83Can the Edmonton Oilers build up momentum? | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Jan 11
Last night, the Edmonton Oilers went into the Honda Centre and did what they needed to do: dominate the Anaheim Ducks. By the time the buzzer sounded to end the first period, the Oilers had a 4-1 lead and were cruising to victory. They continue to put their foot on the throat of the Ducks throughout the final 40 minutes and came away with a 6-2. Can they now build off this win and continue into the final half of the season strong? Today on Oilersnation Everyday, Tyler Yaremchuk will reflect on what happened last night down in California. He will talk about the play of specific players like Klim Kostin and Jack Campbell along with the other strong performances. Tomorrow, the Oilers Pacific Division road trip goes on with a matchup versus the San Jose Sharks. The Sharks, like the Ducks, have struggled this season so the Oilers need to capitalize and get two more points. Can it be done? That game will also be briefly previewed on the show. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 82Time to go duck hunting | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Jan 11
The Edmonton Oilers continue their Pacific Division road trip tonight when they visit Anaheim to face the Ducks. Tonight will be the second meeting between the two Western Conference teams with Anaheim getting the better of Edmonton in their first matchup. Lukas Dostal was the big reason why the Ducks came away with a 4-3 victory after making 46 saves. The Oilers won't have to worry about him tonight since he is back in the AHL with the San Diego Gulls. Instead, Edmonton will be facing a team that has allowed 11 goals in its last two games and has won three games in its last ten outings. However, those stats are irrelevant if the Oilers do not show up to play. Tyler Yaremchuk will be joined by Jay Downton for the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show on today's episode of Oilersnation Everyday. Later in the show, Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff will be around to give us an update on where the Oilers are shopping this trade deadline. He will also give us updates from around the NHL. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 81What Now? | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Jan 10
Edmonton Oilers fans stayed up late last night to watch their team put together an extremely disappointing performance versus the Los Angeles Kings. The effort was below standard in all aspects of the game, besides goaltending which is ironic considering they lost 6-3. So what is the issue? Come and join us today on Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk and give us your thoughts on the Oilers right now. Also on today's show, Bruce Curlock will join Tyler to break down what is happening with the Oilers right now. The city is also screaming for Ken Holland to make a move. Is that time now or should Holland remain patient with the roster they have? Can Evander Kane turn this team around? We will dive into what is next for the Edmonton Oilers and talk about a few candidates for trade targets. Finally, Liam Horrobin will give out his Betway bets of the day for tonight's NHL slate. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 80An Important Divisional Road Trip Begins | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Jan 9
They managed to grab a point on Saturday night but the Edmonton Oilers also blew a 2-0 lead in the third period. How should fans feel about that matchup against the Colorado Avalanche? Tyler Yaremchuk will chat about it today on Oilersnation Everyday giving us thoughts and also yours. The Oilers now begin a week long road trip which starts in Los Angeles tonight against the Kings. The two teams have met once this season when the Kings came away with a 3-1 win in Edmonton. Also that night, Alexander Edler hit Connor McDavid with a knee-on-knee hit which led to no supplementary discipline from the NHL. The Kings currently sit in second in the Pacific Division and are seven points ahead of the Oilers with two more games played. Since today is an Edmonton Oilers gameday, Jay Downton will join the show for the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show. Tyler and Jay will get you set up with everything you need today ahead of tonight's matchup. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 79A Western Conference Finals Rematch | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Jan 7
The Edmonton Oilers 2022 playoff run ended disappointed at the Colorado Avalanche's feet. The Avalanche swept the Oilers, firing the final blow at Rogers Place to help them advance to the Stanley Cup Finals they won. Tonight, Connor McDavid and the Oilers get a chance to grab some redemption when they play them for the first time since that night.Colorado has not been as dominant this season, and that is because of the injuries they have faced. Gabriel Landeskog, Valeri Nichushkin and Josh Manson are just a few names out of their lineup, and Nathan MacKinnon has also missed some time. They still have Cale Makar and Mikko Rantanen playing every night and having great seasons. On today's episode of Oilersnation Everyday, Tyler Yaremchuk will preview tonight's action and be joined by Jay Downton and Liam Horrobin. They will talk about tonight's lines, the decision between the pipes and their favourite bets for the rematch of the Western Conference Finals. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 78A Team Victory | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Jan 6
Whatever was said in the Edmonton Oilers players only meeting earlier this week worked massively for them last night. The Oilers came away with a 4-2 victory over the New York Islanders in what was a full team effort. They also snapped a five game losing streak on home ice. On today's show, Tyler Yaremchuk will talk about his three big things from last night's win along with everything else that happened in that game. It was a massive game for Jack Campbell and Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl each hit big milestones.Like every Friday, Baggedmilk will be joining the show for the Bro Down! The two of them will review what has been going down with the Oilers since returning from Christmas, the Evander Kane interview from the Real Life Podcast and Canada's World Juniors victory last night in Halifax. At the end of the show, Liam Horrobin will join the show to give out his Betway Bets of the Day. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 77Looking to change home ice woes | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Jan 5
Home has not been so sweet for the Edmonton Oilers recently. They have not won at Rogers Place in their last five attempts and in four of those games they have blown the lead. However, tonight, they will get an opportunity to put that streak to bed as they host the New York Islanders. The Islanders have lost only once in their last four games, which came against the Seattle Kraken a couple of games ago. Most recently, they handed the Vancouver Canucks a convincing loss beating them 6-2 on the road. Join us for today on Oilersnation Everyday for the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show edition. Tyler Yaremchuk will be joined by both Jay Downton and Liam Horrobin as they get you set for tonight's action in downtown Edmonton. Also on today's show, they will get you set up for this evening's World Junior gold medal game between Canada and Czechia. Can Canada capture another gold or will Czechia complete their fantastic run at this year's tournament? Join us on YouTube and give us your thoughts on both games. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 76Blowing Leads & Trade Talk with Frank Seravalli | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Jan 4
Playing at Rogers Place has not been kind for the Edmonton Oilers this season and last night was another example of that. The Oilers have now lost five games in a row on home ice and four have them have come from blown leads. Last night, Edmonton had a 2-0 lead early in the first period. By the end of 60 minutes, the Kraken had scored five unanswered goals. What is going wrong on home ice? We will talk about it all on today's show. Joining Tyler Yaremchuk to talk about possible trade targets is Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff. Yesterday on Daily Faceoff Live, Frank revealed his top 10 trade targets from around the NHL. Today, we will ask him about a few of those names including Mattias Ekholm from the Nashville Predators, who just signed a new extension last season. Also, we want to hear from you and what you thought about last night's game. Additionally, let us know who you want to see Ken Holland target before the trade deadline passes. . Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 75Time To Get Kraken In 2023 | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Jan 3
After not playing against for almost a year, the Edmonton Oilers now welcome the Seattle Kraken to Rogers Place for the first of two visits. Their visit on December 30th went very well for the Copper and Blue, even without Leon Draisaitl in the lineup. The Oilers came away with a 7-2 victory which was supported by a five point night from Connor McDavid. Since that game, the Kraken snapped their three game losing streak with a 4-1 win over the New York Islanders. However, they do still hold a three game skid against Pacific Division opponents. Join us today on Oilersnation Everyday for a Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game show edition. Tyler Yaremcuk is back in the hosting chair and will be joined by Jay Downton and Liam Horrobin. They will discuss what the Oilers need to do to achieve what they did in their last matchup against Seattle. Come and join the conversation on YouTube and give us your predictions for tonight's game. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 74Predictions for 2023 | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Jan 2
Unfortunately, the 2022 calendar year did not end on a positive note. The Winnipeg Jets came into Rogers Place and, despite getting only 17 shots, they found a way to secure the two points. Klim Kostin responded late for the Oilers; however, Kyle Connor's tip beat Jack Campbell to make it a 2-1 game late. Tyler Yaremchuk will give his thoughts on Saturday's contest on today's edition of Oilersnation Everyday. Also on the first show in 2022, Tyler will be joined by Connor Halley, from TSN 1260. The two of them will give their predictions for the Edmonton Oilers for 2023. If you have a prediction you want to discuss with us, join the show live on YouTube and leave your comment in the chat. Later on, in the show, Liam Horrobin will join Tyler for the Betway Wrap. The two of them will hand out their favourite bets from the two games going on tonight in the NHL, with Vegas visiting Colorado and Philadelphia heading west to Anaheim. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 73One Last Time in 2022
Even without Leon Draisaitl, the Edmonton Oilers put on a dominant offensive display. Last night, Edmonton made the trip down to Seattle to face Kraken and put four passed them in the opening period. Three of the goals came within the opening minutes of the game, which saw Phillipp Graubauer’s night end early. Connor McDavid led the way with a goal and four assists to take his points told to 72 in 37 games, which is just incredible to even think about. On today’s show, Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will break down everything that happened last night in Seattle.Additionally, the Oilers are back in action tonight as they end 2022 on home ice. The Winnipeg Jets will be in town for their first matchup of the season against their 2020 Stanley Cup playoff opponents. The lingering question around the team is will Leon Draisaitl be back tonight? Can the Oilers have another great performance without him? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 72A Divisional Matchup With Seattle | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 30
The Edmonton Oilers returned from their brief Christmas break with a huge 2-1 win over provincial rivals the Calgary Flames. Stuart Skinner was outstanding for the Oilers stopping 46 of 47 shots for his 11th win of the season, and second against Calgary. Tonight, the Oilers look for back-to-back wins against a Pacific Division rival, when they take on the Seattle Kraken. Edmonton and Seattle are yet to face one another this season so tonight will be the first of four meetings between the two. Come and join us on a Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show edition of Oilersnation Everyday. Tyler Yaremchuk will be around along with Jay Downton and Liam Horrobin to get you set up for the game down in Seattle. Additionally, they will talk about Tuesday's win in Calgary along with how the Oilers are lining up tonight and what they need to do to secure the two points. Finally, they will give out their Betway bets of the day at the end of the show. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 71Bring On The BOA | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 27
Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk is back from a quick break away for Christmas. We hope you all had a Merry Christmas with your families and thank you for coming back to the show. Unfortunately, the Edmonton Oilers did not bring some holiday cheer to homes in the capital city, after dropping a 5-2 decision to the Vancouver Canucks. The worst part about it all was that they had a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes. It quickly all fell apart for the Oilers as they now sit in 4th in the Pacific Division. What went wrong? Tyler will talk about it on today's show. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 70Back On Home Ice | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 23
While the Oilersnation staff were at SOHO celebrating Christmas on Wednesday, the Edmonton Oilers put together arguably their best performance of the season. They were on the road versus the Dallas Stars, who sit atop of the Central Division, and managed to come from behind three times to win the game 6-3. Jay Woodcroft shook up the lines, splitting up Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman, and it worked perfectly.Tonight, the Oilers are back on home ice to faceoff against the Vancouver Canucks, who they haven't played since their season opener. The Canucks did win last night versus the Seattle Kraken; however, in their previous two games, they were defeated 5-1 on both occasions by the St Louis Blues and the Winnipeg Jets. With that, today's episode of Oilersnation Everyday will be a Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game edition. Jay Downton will be around with Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin to preview the action down at Rogers Place. Also, like he does every Friday, Baggedmilk joins the show for the Bro Down! We'll chat with him about his boy Ryan Nugent-Hopkins plus much more surrounding the Edmonton Oilers. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 69Stars Align In Dallas | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 22
The Edmonton Oilers snapped their three game losing streak last night, defeating the Dallas Stars 6-3 on the road. Many mistakes have cost the Oilers wins recently; however, last night's game was one of their best of the season. Edmonton shook up the lines separating Leon Draisaitl, Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman from the top line. With that, Jay Woodcroft's men showed up with eleven players contributing to the scoring. The biggest stands were the line of Mattias Janmark, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Klim Kostin. The three of them combined for eight points on the night, with three of them being goals. Could this be a dangerous line moving forward for Edmonton? We'll talk about it on today's show along with how the other three lines worked out. Tyler Yaremchuk will also give out his three big takeaways from last night's victory, presented by Cornerstone Insurance. If you want to hear them talk about your biggest takeaway then be sure to leave your comment in the YouTube chat. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 68Hunting For A Win | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 21
Tonight, the Edmonton Oilers have a chance to put the last three games behind them when they take on the Dallas Stars. While the Oilers have struggled to find consistency all season, the Stars have been cruising at the top of the Central Division with a record of 19-8-6. Jason Robertson is their lead man, who is having a career season with 47 points (24 goals, 23 assists) in 33 games this season. On today's episode of Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk, Jay Downton will join the show for the Sherwood FORD Giant Pre Game Show. They will breakdown what the Oilers need to do to grab the two points tonight in their keys to victory. Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff will also join the show for his weekly segment. They will talk to him about some possible trade targets for the Edmonton Oilers, including Vladislav Gavrikov from the Columbus Blue Jackets. Tyler and Jay will also ask Frank about other rumours swirling around the NHL. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 67Tough Loss In Music City | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 20
The Nashville Predators handed the Edmonton Oilers their third loss in a row after Alexander Carrier scored the overtime winner. The Oilers have had a tough run recently, but it has not been due to being played out of the rink. The losses are coming from self-inflicted wounds, costing them two points. On today's show, Tyler Yaremchuk will recap what happened in last night's loss on the road to the Predators. He will talk about his three big takeaways from the matchup, presented by Cornerstone Insurance, along with the play of Jack Campbell and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. Tom Gazzola will also stop by for his second visit to Oilersnation Everyday. With Tom, we will talk with him about the Oilers recent run of games, what Edmonton needs to do to win, and other hot topics surrounding the team. At the show's end, Liam Horrobin will join and give out his Betway bets of the day for tonight's NHL slate. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 66Reid Schaefer Joins Show From Team Canada Camp | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 19
It was a game of mistakes by the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday which caused them to lose 4-3 to the Anaheim Ducks, a bottom dweller in the NHL. That is now two games in a row that the Oilers have shot themselves in the foot costing themselves two points. Tonight, the Oilers have to put thaose mistakes behind them when they face the Nashville Predators. The game is back in Nashville and, as we all know, Leon Draisaitl owns the city of the Nashville. Later in the show, Tyler Yaremchuk will be joined by Reid Schaefer, the Oilers first round pick from the 2022 NHL Draft. Schaefer is currently at Team Canada's camp ahead of the World Juniors in Halifax. Tyler spoke to him about being drafted by his hometown team, how his career has taken off and the nickname "Ginger Beef." Finally, we will talk about Stuart Skinner's new deal with the Edmonton Oilers which will keep him around for three more years. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 65What happened last night? | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 16
The final 15 minutes of last night's hockey game were absolute chaos. Unfortunately for the Edmonton Oilers, it was not the good kind of chaos which sees them score late and collect the two points. Last night, everything went wrong for them, which resulted in the St Louis Blues going home with the win. Of course, the big talking points were Darnell Nurse's turnover late, which turned into the game tying goal with 19 seconds left, and Leon Draisaitl's overtime goal, which was overturned for being offside. Today on Oilersnation Everyday, we will go deep into both of those situations and we want to hear your take on them both. Like every Friday, Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will be joined by Baggedmilk for the Bro Down. The three of them will talk about what happened last night at Rogers Place and give their take on what went wrong for the Oilers. Also, stick around until the very end to hear the Betway bets of the day. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 64Back On Home Ice | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 15
The Edmonton Oilers are back at Rogers Place tonight and, in their last few home games, things have started to get better for the Copper and Blue. The Oilers have won two in a row on home ice, and three of their last four, and tonight they will look to keep that home streak alive when they host the St Louis Blues. The last time the Blues were in town it was a Saturday afternoon snooze fest. St Louis won the game 2-0 with one of those goals being an empty netter. Jack Campbell had a solid game that afternoon stopping 20 of 21 shots and finishing with a 0.952 save percentage. Despite that, Stuart Skinner gets the start between the pipes for Jay Woodcroft's Oilers. Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff will join today's episode of Oilersnation Everyday. We will talk with him about the rumours surrounding Jesse Puljujarvi, updates on the NHL's salary cap and what is going to happen with Bo Horvat in Vancouver. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 63Smashing Nashville | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 14
Last night, Leon Draisaitl was re-elected as the Mayor of Smashville, after putting together his second five point game versus the Nashville Predators this season. The Oilers forward now had 35 points (22 goals, 13 assists) against the Predators in 21 career games, which is incredible. Draisaitl was not the only player to put up big numbers last night with Zach Hyman scoring his first career hat trick and Connor McDavid grabbing four points for himself. It was not an ideal start between the pipes for Jack Campbell, who allowed the first shot of the game to beat him. However, the Oilers netminder bounced back making some big saves to finish with a .906 save percentage and his 8th win of the season. On today's episode of Oilersnation Everyday, Tyler Yaremchuk will recap everything that happened in last night's 6-3 win over Nashville. He will talk about his three big takeaways from the game, along with that, a certain NHL general manager continues to watch Oilers games. You can hear all of that and more on today's show, as well as, the guy's Betway Bets of the Day. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 62The Mayor of Smashville | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 13
The Edmonton Oilers lost a tight one last night on the road versus the Minnesota Wild. Their biggest struggle was generating offensive scoring chances, producing only 21 shots on goal. They did manage to get one by Marc-Andre Fleury, who was between the pipes for the Wild, when Zach Hyman banked home the rebound to tie the game up at one. Unfortunately for Edmonton, Frédérick Gaudreau scored the game winner for Minnesota in the second period to give them a 2-1 win. Tonight, the Oilers will look to get back in the win column as they head to Nashville to take on the Predators. Of course, one storyline that rules them all when Edmonton faces Nashville is that Leon Draisaitl completely owns them. In 21 games, Draisaitl has 30 points, with 20 of those being goals. In their last game versus the Predators, the Oilers superstar had a five-point night with a goal and four assists. We teased it yesterday, but today Jay Downton will join the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game show live from Nashville. Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will be around to prepare you for tonight's Oilers game. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 61Let's Get Wild, Again | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 12
The Edmonton Oilers did not play over the weekend for the first time all season. However, they did go into it with a big win on Friday night over the Minnesota Wild. The Oilers came away with a 5-2 victory over the Wild, which means they have now won five of their last seven games. Tonight, Connor McDavid and the Oilers take on the Minnesota Wild for the third time in the last two weeks. Today's game will be the final meeting of the regular season between the two teams, so it is the series decider Xcel Energy Center.Come and join us on Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin, along with Jay Downton, who will be live from Cleveland. They will get you set up for the action with the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game show live from the Sports Closet studio. They will discuss tonight's Oilers lines, the decision between the pipes, and what the Oilers need to do to make it six wins in their last eight. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 60A Wild Friday Night | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 9
The Edmonton Oilers let loose on Wednesday night putting eight by the Arizona Coyotes. They have now won five of their last seven games, and while most of them have not been pretty, they are finding a way to get the job done. Tonight, the Oilers will be looking for back-to-back wins when they host the travelling Minnesota Wild. It was only last week when they last faced the Wild. It did not go as planned that evening falling 5-3, despite having a 2-1 lead earlier in the game. To help preview tonight's game, Tyler Yaremchuk, Jay Downton, and Liam Horrobin will be around for the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game show on Oilersnation Everyday. Baggedmilk is also going to join the three of them later on in the show for the Bro Down!On today's show, they will also discuss the rumours surrounding Joel Edmundson and the price tag that comes with him. On top of that, they will talk about the lineup tonight and the possible return of Warren Foegele. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 59Mr. Klim | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 8
Last night, the Edmonton Oilers came out and did exactly what they were supposed to do. They dominated the Arizona Coyotes, who were finishing a 14-game road trip, and had 12 different players collect points in an 8-2 victory. The two points mean the Oilers have now won five of their last seven games. Are they finally taking a turn for the better? One notable performer was Klim Kostin, who is quickly becoming a fan favourite since being acquired from St Louis. Kostin finished the night with two points and also a fight after taking on league heavyweight, and former Oiler, Zack Kassian. Before the action began on the ice, a story dropped yesterday about some comments that Jesse Puljujarvi to a journalist from Finland. The core of the story was that Puljujarvi is struggling and how he does not have the answer to break out of his slump. We will discuss the comments today on Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 58Starting On Time | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 7
Tonight, the #EdmontonOilers take on the #ArizonaCoyotes down at Rogers Place, with the puck dropping around 7:37 pm. If somebody could now please inform the players that the game starts at that time, maybe the #Oilers can get out to a promising start against one of the worst teams in the #NHL. The game tonight feels very important for #Edmonton. They have been on a decent run recently; however, a loss to the #Coyotes, who are finishing a 14-game road trip, could prove to be deflating for this team. Despite the loss on Monday versus the #WashingtonCapitals, there were a couple of big positives to take away from it. Of course, the play from rookie goaltender Stuart Skinner was a big one, making 47 saves on the night; however, it was another rookie that deserves praise too. Dylan Holloway had a fantastic take, and while he did not score, he was one of the few to impact the game. Could we possibly see his minutes elevated tonight? Finally, Frank Seravalli from Daily Faceoff joins Oilersnation Everyday to talk about the #ErikKarlsson to Edmonton Rumours, along with other ways the Oilers could improve, Shane Wright, and much more. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 57Thankful for Stuart Skinner | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 6
Well, last night was not a great performance from the Edmonton Oilers. If it was not for an outstanding game from Stuart Skinner, the Oilers would have been out of the game long before Nick Dowd scored the game winner in the third period. Edmonton's rookie goaltender made 47 saves and allowed three goals in a 3-2 defeat against the Washington Capitals. Washington is also a depleted team which makes the outcome that little bit worse. Today on Oilersnation Everyday, Tyler Yaremchuk will dig into last night's game. He will go over the positive and negative takeaways from a game in which the Oilers should have won heading into it. We also want to hear what you thought of the game. Head over to our YouTube page, The Nation Network, and drop your comments in the chat. Throughout the show, Liam Horrobin will drop in and out to give his thoughts too. Then, during the wrap, the two of them will give out their Betway bets of the day for tonight's NHL slate. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 56Taking on Ovi & the Caps | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 5
It is a Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre Game Show edition of Oilersnation Everyday. Tyler Yaremchuk is back for another episode to get you prepared for tonight's game versus the Washington Capitals, along with Jay Downton. Before they get into the action on the ice tonight, they will recap what went down at Rogers Place on Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens. It was a different kind of game but the Oilers came out on top 5-3 to get back in the win column and they now have a record of 4-1-0 in their last five games. Of course, we will be talking about Connor McDavid or as some people like to call him now "McPowerplay". There has been lots of chatter on the Twitterverse recently about how McDavid only scores points on the powerplay. While that may be the case, to an extent, Tyler wants to ask the question, what other player in the NHL can dominate the game like the Edmonton Oilers captain? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 55Oilers vs Canadiens Preview | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 3

S1 Ep 54No More Legs | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 2
Unfortunately, last night the Edmonton Oilers three game win streak came to an end. At one point, they did hold a 2-1 lead over the Minnesota Wild; however, the legs were not there for Edmonton, who fell 5-3. Despite scoring three goals, the team struggled to generate much offence, with only 11 shots through the first two periods. Jack Campbell got the start yesterday and did not have one of his better performances. Is this loss on Campbell, or does the team need to improve defensively still in front of him? Like every Friday, Baggedmilk joins Oilersnation Everyday for the Bro Down! If you have been keeping up with the Oilersnation antics this week, you will know that Baggedmilk and Tyler Yaremchuk have been beefing over the potential cancellation of the Beetcast. Tune into today's show as the two go head-to-head to discuss the matter. Also on the show, Liam Horrobin joins for the Betway Bets of the Day. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

S1 Ep 53Battle of the 97s | Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk Dec 1
The Edmonton Oilers continue their road trip tonight and finish off a back-to-back set in Minnesota against the Wild.
