WSJM Sports Player of the Week - Kate Ort - Lakeshore Track

Kate Ort of Lakeshore girls track and field is our WSJM Sports Player of the Week.   Kate is currently in her junior year at Lakeshore and has a 3.2 GPA During the week, Lakeshore participated in 3 meets, In a meet against Portage Central, won the 400 meter dash with a time of 57.78, which broke her own school record, and her 1600 meter relay team also came in 1st. Then in a meet at St. Joe, she won the 800 meter run and broke a 26 year old school record with a time of 2:15.82, and her 1600 meter relay team also broke the Lakeshore school record of 4:08.56.  At the Don Lukens Invitational at Loy Norrix, Kate again broke her 400 record with a time of 57.71, and her 1600 meter relay team also came in first.
