Pilot Swab of Lakeshore wrestling is our WSJM Sports Player of the Week. Pilot is a sophomore at Lakeshore high school and carries a 3.4 grade point average Pilot is the 2025 Division 2 Individual State Champion in the 106 pound weight division. Pilot went 4-0 over the two day finals at Ford Field in Detroit, winning two matches by pinfall, and two by a decision, including an 8-1 win in the championship match against Tyler Cooper of Plainwell. Pilot went 45-7 this season. Pilot also was at the state finals last season where he finished fifth as a freshman. Pilot is the 28th individual state champion in the history of the Lakeshore wrestling program.
