The Lions scored 21 points in the fourth quarter on the way to their second straight win after losing five in a row. They wiped out a 14-point deficit with two quick TDs, tying it on a 20-yard interception return by Jeff Okudah. Fields then went 67 yards untouched for a TD to put Chicago back on top 30-24. Cairo Santos missed the extra point. Goff led an eight-play, 91-yard drive in the closing minutes. Williams made it 31-30 when he scored with 2:21 remaining. The veteran quarterback delivered a 35-yard touchdown pass to Parris Campbell to lead Indianapolis to a 25-20 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. The touchdown with 5:07 left came shortly after the 37-year-old quarterback converted a third-and-3 with a 39-yard run to the Raiders’ 36-yard line. His play helped give Saturday his first victory. It also handed the Raiders their third loss in a row and will increase the scrutiny on first-year coach Josh McDaniels. Start From The Beginning with Ernie Watson
Sometimes you meet people that energize you. Just being around them brings you joy, reinvigorates and puts a smile on your face. Ernie Watson is one of the people. When I was 13 years old and Ernie was my new middle school wrestling coach, I was in awe of his energy. He regularly would handstand walk around the room. I even called him “100 Watts!”. Our paths crossed again many years later and he still had the same kind of energy. After listening to this conversation, I hope that you will also get a little boost of energy when we Start from the Beginning…with Ernie Watson.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Furry Friends Friday featuring Oscar
Oscar is a low-rider dog, looking for a new home. He came to Al-Van Humane Society from another shelter so a new set of eyes could see how handsome he is and consider adding him to their family. Oscar seeks a quiet home to live out his golden years. He is about 12 years old and 33lbs. He can be picky about new dog friends, but would be up for meeting a resident dog to see if they could be friends. Small children make him nervous so an adult-only home or a home with older children would be best. Despite his age, Oscar is an energetic guy and loves to play with toys. He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. If you are interested in adopting Oscar please fill out an application at al-van.org/adopt.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
