Flick Pick is a podcast about movies. In today’s episode, Andrew Green reviews two movies. They are The Banshees of Inisherin and Infinity Pool, both of which he saw last weekend.
The Banshees of Inisherin is nominated for Best Picture at this year’s Academy Awards. It stars Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson as couple of best friends living in a small Irish village in the 1920s. When Gleeson announces he no longer wants to be friends with Farrell, it drives Farrell crazy.
Infinity Pool is a horror film from Brandon Cronenberg about a resort island where a person can escape punishment for crimes they’ve committed by being cloned and then having the clone take the fall. It drives main character played by Alexander Skarsgård crazy.
Did Andrew enjoy these films about people going insane or did they just drive him insane?
