Al and Mel continue their conversation to say that the founders of the Ta'i tribe were Persians not Arabs, and that the Arabs were the soldiers.  The word Qurashi; which Muslims believe was Mohammad's tribe is a Persian name.  They discuss Chinese historical sources which talk about a king with a black stone; who Mel thinks is Elias ibn Qabisah (Mohammad).  A proof of the strong Persian leadership also comes from the three kalifs named Yazeed I ,II, III,(first ,second and third), which undermine the Islamic tradition.  They also briefly discuss when  alcohol was banned in Islam.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Mel believes that the story of Mohammad has been fabricated and been built up over a number of decades.  He also believes that the story is loosely based on a character called; Elias Ibn Qabisah Al- Ta'i ; the leader of the Ta'i tribe.  2. Al Fadi and David Wood discuss why is Paul under attack by the Muslims.  They say that Muslims are looking for someone to blame for Mohammad  getting so many things wrong about God and the Bible. When Muslims attack the council of Nicaea you should know that they are making things up. When we get to our time; Muslims start noticing that the teaching of Paul does not line up with the teaching of Islam.  We can trace all the doctrines of Christianity back to the first century.  We know that Paul is more reliable than Mohammad because: 1. Paul is smarter than Mohammad; Paul knew the old testament ,Paul also went up to Jerusalem and compared his revelations with those who knew Jesus.  Mohammad did not compare his revelations with Jews and Christians.  2. Al Fadi and Sam Shamoun continue to discuss why Jesus is superior to Mohammad according to the Quran.  They discuss some hadith(Bukhari and Muslim) that talks about how Mary's mother prayed to God to protect Mary and Jesus from Satan.  They also discuss briefly reason #4 that the Quran says that Jesus is God's word and a spirit from God. These Characteristics are: 1. Jesus's maternal family were the  greatest creatures.  2. Jesus's mother was the greatest woman, and the only woman mentioned by name.  3. Jesus and His mother are absolutely sinless and pure.  4.Jesus is the pre-existent  word of God.  5. Jesus was conceived and born of a virgin. 6. Jesus created things.  7. They say that these atheist had no foundation for why it is wrong, because these practices could be acceptable in certain societies and not in others. Al Fadi and David wood are discussing the question that many Christians complain about David's way of criticizing,( Mocking) Islam and Mohammad. David say that it is one way of challenging Muslims to what they believe. The split rock where water came out of (Exodus 17: 6, Is.48:21) ; this rock is a massive rock. 2. The presence of Jewish graves; the Bible talks about 3 thousand people died after the making of the golden calf;( Exodus 32:28). 3. The presence of some petroglyphs; ie menorah. Some people use passages from the Bible(Jer. 10: 2-4, Isa. 44: 14-15) to say that we should not celebrate Christmas, but Al Fadi answers three arguments of why Christians should celebrate Christmas using J Hampton Keathley III.  1. Christmas is commercialized and materialized. 2. Scripture does not authorize it.  3. Al Fadi talks about the man born blind in John 9:1-7. The common world view of that day is that if a person was blind; it was either he or his parents have sinned.  Jesus refuted that by healing the man both spiritually and physically. The Bible does encourage Christians to participate in government for a variety of reasons including being a buffer against  the wrong interpretation of scripture.  For example ,in Daniel 4:27, Daniel told the king to break off his sins; he told him the truth and that way God used Daniel to be  a counselor.  Another example in Jeremiah 29: 7, God asked His people to seek the welfare of the city of there captivity, and to pray for the city.  There is a lot of other examples in the old testament and some in the new testament (Mt 14: 3,4, Luke 3: 18-20) are some examples that God used His people to make an influence for God's larger plan.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This view says that nothing good comes from the church's involvement in politics.  It is wrong because God left Christians on earth to influence society and that by being involved in all aspects of life , which include being in government.  Both church and government  are instruments to help restrain evil; 1 john 3: 8. This view is usually held by pacifists, and it disagrees with Romans 13:1-6 ,where it says that government is a servant of God.  They take Luke 4: 5-7 out of context. We should also take the whole view of the Bible.  Daniel  4: 7 , says that the most high rules the kingdoms of men.  So God is in control of governments not Satan.  God allows governments to go after evil doers, He appoints governments, and he is the one that establishes them (all of them).  The job of the civil government is punish  those who do evil.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

This view states that there is no room for religion in government and is promoted by the ACLU.  It violates the first amendment by keeping religion out of government instead of keeping the government out of religious affairs.  It also promotes atheisms as the religion of the government.  Romans 13:4 talks about government as God's agent to institute righteousness and punish evil.  If we take God out of government we remove  absolute morality and promote relativism.  Daniel 4:27,Luke 3:19, and Acts 24:25, are good examples of the influence of religion in government.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

 This view of government causes wars, and we have examples from the history of the church.  Jesus was opposed to this view, Luke 9: 52- 55.  True faith can not be forced; it is a voluntary decision.  We should appeal to people; Matt. 11: 28, Acts 28: 23.  In conclusion: Governments should never attempt to force religion on people, but provide freedom for all.    Forcing religion could lead to religious persecution or having false converts.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Al Fadi continues his series on the role the church and believers in politics and the government.  He mainly focuses his time on Isaiah chapter one and compares what the nation of Israel did and what the western civilization is doing, in the way that they left the biblical values and followed the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah,vs10.  He also compares verse 15 when Israel's hands were full of blood with our nation with the killing of innocent babies/abortion.  The nation of Israel suffered the consequences for her sin, and so will our nation if we don't repent and turn away from our sins, vs18-20.  He urges the church to vote for people who hold biblical value.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Al Fadi introduces a new series on the Christian role in government.  He explains that according to the Bible, government is appointed by God whether we like it or not ,Romans 13: 1-7.  He also explains that 1 Timothy 2: 1-4, explains that the role of people in government ties with God's plan of salvation.  In the next few weeks he is going to discuss 5 wrong views about Christians in government:  1. Jay Smith talks with Al Fadi about the many different Qurans that he and Hatun Tash found. Al Fadi discusses what  the believers reaction should be  towards rioting.  He says that we should not take sides, but think of people who are created in God's image.
