Rev. Bill McDonald is a near-death experiencer, author, an award-winning poet, international motivational speaker, artist, film adviser, a Vietnam War veteran, and veteran advocate. He has spoken around the world, and has been involved with a dozen films and documentaries, such as "In The Shadow of the Blade"- shown on the History Network and "The Art of Healing," shown on PBS TV. Rev. Bill has been on over 800 radio and TV shows over the last 18 years and has stories about his life featured in over a dozen books and in hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles. His YouTube channel has over 70 videos and got over 550,000 views in the first 18 months it was posted. Rev. Bill received The Distinguished Flying Cross and The Purple Heart as a Vietnam veteran. His multiple near-death experiences include meetings with masters who explained the purpose of life and his personal mission. Gifted with precognition, his unique perspective as a reverend bridges religion and spirituality.

Michele is a multi-instrumentalist, nationally-ranked mountain dulcimer player and holds degrees in medicine, public health and theology. Though she thought her life purpose was to serve as a medical missionary, the after-effects of a near-death experience led her to question her faith and to seek ways of healing outside of her medical training. She currently spends her time pursuing her passions of interior design, farming and music. She is working on her first album and will be putting her diverse experiences to use in the near future as a chaplain.

In Part Two of the interview with Robert Perry, we continue the discussion of the teachings of the Course in Miracles, and how they closely parallel what is learned from the near-death experience.

Part One of our interview with Robert Perry explores the link between personal mystical experience and the spiritual understanding we gain from theological study. He is the lead editor of the new Complete and Annotated Edition of A Course in Miracles, Robert has lectured throughout the US and internationally, and is one of the Course’s teachers, as well. He is the founder of the Circle of Atonement, has authored or co-authored over 20 books and booklets on the Course, and hundreds of articles, including an article he co-authored about “Near-Death Experiences and A Course in Miracles” for IANDS Journal of Near-Death Studies, Volume 32, Number 4, Summer 2014. Robert currently lives in England.

The show's guest, David L. Oakford, had a profound Near-Death Experience as the result of a drug overdose in 1979, when he was 19 years old.. Since then, David has worked in a few factories, served in the US Navy, attended business school and earned a four year degree in accounting. He was a stay-at-home father for his growing family, as well. He worked as a software analyst, but was laid off in the Great Recession. Currently, David works part time as a janitor at his city's spooky movie theater. He is also a disabled veteran. David lives with his family in the Metro Detroit area. Today’s show first aired on Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 16, 2017. On this MLK Day encore presentation, host Lee Witting suggests there are some indications in King's life and in his teachings that Dr. King might have experienced an NDE. Whether or not he did, his teachings seem akin to what is learned from the typical near-death experience, and seem particularly relevant to recent upticks in American racism, voter suppression and bigotry.

This interview with Erica McKenzie, RN, first aired on NDE Radio on August 4, 2014. We offer it today as a possible prophetic vision of the enormous fires now raging across Australia. For the 2014 show, Erica described herself as an inspirational speaker, messenger, advocate, researcher and author, and a member of the National League for Nursing, American Nurses Association, the National Hospice and Palliative Organization, American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and the International Association for Near-Death Studies. As an NDEr, she expressed her determination to continue her research and collaboration with other experts in the areas of NDE, After-Death Communications, medical health and wellness, self-esteem issues, and Hospice, along with human and animal rights issues.

This week's guest, Rev. Richard Dinges, is a Congregational minister in the United Church of Christ who has studied Near-Death Experiences for more than 30 years. During that time he has served seven churches, and currently is a volunteer minister at Fellowship of the Inner Light in Virginia Beach. For the past 15 years he has worked, as well, as a Hospice Chaplain with Heartland Hospice. Dick has incorporated what he has learned about NDEs into his theology and practice.

On this just-before New Year’s Eve show, host Lee Witting talks about a New Year’s Eve from a quarter century ago, when he experienced some interesting visions while on MDMA, and compares the nature of drug-induced visions to NDEs -- earth-based visions vs. out-of-body revelations. He concludes with some dire warnings about climate change, including two of Dr. Doggerel’s poems on the subject.

The show's guest, Angela Williams, writes: My near-death experience happened when I was 20 years old. I flipped in a V-drive boat going a hundred miles an hour. It happened on the 4th of July, 1979. I was underwater for 15 minutes. My near-death experience, I believe, was not just an accident, but a Divine Accident. I say that because the miracles that have happened in my life since that day are just too hard to explain as normal. I learned about God's Divine Laws that govern everything. Our guest, Kelly DiGiocomo, RN, MSN, DNP, is a registered nurse with a doctorate in nursing who has practiced and/or taught nursing for more than 30 years. She currently manages a hospital cardiac care unit in Northern California. Kelly had a near-death experience when she was only two years old. Kelly describes herself as a practicing Christian, wife and mom to two grown kids and grandma to four. Kelly writes: "I became interested in researching NDE's after many years of analyzing my own NDE at age two, and a visit at age ten by an angel, and also because of what I have witnessed as a nurse, and the many stories of NDE's that my patients have told me."

Our guest, Rex Finfgeld, experienced an NDE in 2011 when he fell 26 feet and landed, head first, on concrete. Sometime while comatose and crashing, he had an NDE: He says, "I experienced my own pure being. I was still me but I was also pure being itself. For a moment I was the all of everything. I was pure love, life, and the mind and imagination that gives rise to all of creation." Since his NDE, he now sees and thinks in ways he never thought possible -- especially regarding consciousness, divinity, the unified field, and a prospective multi-universal reality. As well, he is living a life he never thought possible. In addition to being a writer and presenter, Rex has become a musician, performing with a band and working on his own original music. Today’s program continues a fascinating discussion with child-NDE researcher, PMH Atwater, we began back in September of this year. If you missed them, I’d suggest you check out our programs of September 9 and 16, 2019, where we discussed the content and goals of PMH’s book, The Forever Angels, Near-Death Experiences in Childhood and their Lifelong Impact. On this show, PMH continues with some addendums to that book, called the Animal Lights Series. These six small books are about animal babies who have prebirth memories, like many human children do. Each of the six babies – monkey, fawn, kitten, skunk, hedgehog, horse – remember different things about living in the light, conception, moving into their mommies "pocket place" (womb), developing a body, miscarriage, birth, handicaps, and full healthy living. Each book is designed to help parents talk to their children about remembering anything, anything at all, from before they were born.

He began developing his own philosophy as a child, and, instead of college, decided instead to become a fisherman on Icelandic trawlers. When he was twenty, he experienced a severe four-story fall onto cement, which triggered a near-death experience and left him comatose for 10 days. What he experienced during those ten days opened up a whole new dimension of understanding. Geir says it revealed to him the ultimate meaning of life itself, which he discusses in his new book, I Is God, The Journey Begins.

The second involves wild burros who know the smoke medicine they need to get well. Janice also presents a book, Circle of One, that tells many stories from animal communicators.

Our guest today, Joan Johnson Porter, has introduced herself by saying she was "killed in a head-on car accident, had a near-death experience, and was sent back – but that’s not the story." She goes on to say she came back with brain damage and profound amnesia and had to start over again with the barest fundamentals, such as how to choose what to eat next on her dinner plate. Today, in the first of a four-book series, Joan reveals how we can change our paradigm by using the tools she developed from her near-death experience and recovery. Her book is titled, "How to Fly a Caterpillar."

Our guest, who prefers to go by her first name, Lilia, was an NDEr by the age of three. Since then, Lilia has had numerous NDEs and STEs that were spiritually impactful and transforming. These experiences inspired her to devote her life to the service of others and to help raise global awareness about NDEs and STEs. To that end, Lilia has worked as a mental health & spiritual counselor, and as a medical and spiritual intuitive, for over 35 years. She has served as an Int’l Veteran NDE Advocate & NDE educator. She is a co-associate on Dr. Corcoran’s Vet NDE Project, and serves on IANDS Conference & Military Veteran NDE Committees. Lilia is a student as well of the “I AM” instruction found in the Saint Germain Series books. It is through that study that she teaches the eternal connection to our Source, the Power of One, and the infinite power of Love.
