The show’s guest, Canadian clinical psychiatrist Manuel Matas, MD, is an experiencer who can differentiate between the various symptoms of mental illness and truly anomalous experiences. A survivor of severe child abuse, Rynn fought neuroendocrine carcinoma since age 18, breast cancer, and finally myeloma. Initially she was a Pediatric ICU nurse at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. In 2002, In addition to being trained in Western medicine, Rynn was an herbalist and Native American healer. Dr. Burke passed away on April 24, 2021 from multiple cancers. She was best known for inspiring others to fight fiercely for love. Jean Barban is a professional artist, with her works on display in galleries from the Midwest to Colorado. She has traveled to her favorite national parks pursuing her passion as a wildlife photographer. Jean's heart had been attacked by a virus and over a period of years had deteriorated. She received a heart transplant, and not a day goes by that she is not grateful. For Jean, every day is a gift. John Burke is the author of the New York Times best-selling book Imagine Heaven. He also authored Unshockable Love, No Perfect People Allowed, and Soul Revolution. He is the lead pastor at Gateway Church in Austin, which he and his wife Kathy founded in 1998. Before all that, John himself was a skeptic of religion and engineer by training. While watching his father die of cancer, he read a book by Dr. Raymond Moody who coined the term near death experiences. That began a 35-year journey of study into the phenomena. He has spoken in 15 countries and appeared on numerous television and radio shows to talk about NDEs and heaven.

The show's guest, Kim Elizabeth Herschaft, was born and raised in Maine. She's a military wife and was living on a military base in Satellite Beach, Florida in 1996, when she became critically ill with an overwhelming infection. It was during that time she had her NDEs, one which seemed purgatory-like. She says it left a profound imprint on the way she lives and thinks. After her NDE, the family returned to Maine in 1998. Our guest, Evan Mecham, is a successful businessman living in Colorado. A retired major in the US Air Force Reserve, Evan worked for 16 years with manufacturing companies in the automotive aftermarket. In his mid-thirties, Evan was involved in a horrendous automobile accident in the mountains. Swerving to avoid a deer, he lost control and his car was literally cut in half by a semi-truck. The NDE Evan experienced changed the way he lived in every possible manner. As Evan’s life continued, he awakened to a closeness to spirit he had never known before. Our guest, Jacob Cooper, had an NDE impacting his future life when he was only three years old.
