Our Christmas series continues as we welcome good friend Mitch Ralston to watch the Dolly Parton classic A Smokey Mountain Christmas. Dolly plays a Country star escaping to the Smokies to spend Christmas with nothing but her guitar and some squirrel stew but a ragtag group of squatting orphans, the horny local sheriff and a mountain witch have other plans. Along the way Dolly runs afoul of Lee Majors doing his best Grizzly Adams impression and there's even a last-minute cameo from the late great John Ritter. Sadly, Dolly's final showdown with Witchy Woman Jezebel doesn't include lightning bolts from Dolly's acrylics, but it's satisfying nonetheless.
