S2 Ep 21Why I’m Ending Millennial Midlife, and What’s Coming Next

What happens when the tools that once helped you grow no longer fit? In this final episode of Millennial Midlife, Cecelia shares the story behind ending this chapter of her work and launching a new one: Life After Insight. You’ll hear why self-compassion (not pressure) is the real fuel for change, and how clarity often comes from letting go of the old. If you’ve ever felt yourself outgrowing a version of who you were, this honest reflection is for you.Episode Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykThe 5-minute shiftThe Life LabThe Life Series1:1 CoachingLet’s work togetherMentioned in this episode:The 5-Minute Shift Mini CourseLearn more about The 5-Minute Shift mini course, a brain-based approach to feeling better now. S2 Ep 20What Helped You Survive is Wearing You Out

Some of the traits that helped you succeed, stay safe, or fit in earlier in life may now be the very things exhausting you.In today’s episode, Cecelia explores how behaviors we often label as “self‑sabotage” are actually intelligent survival strategies that once served a purpose. Perfectionism, people‑pleasing, staying quiet, overthinking, or pushing through fatigue didn’t come out of nowhere; they were adaptations your brain learned to keep you safe. The problem isn’t that you’re broken; the problem is that your nervous system is still running old code. This episode is about shifting out of self‑blame and into self‑partnership, learning how to work with your brain instead of forcing change through willpower. When you understand where a behavior came from, you can finally let it soften, update, and release.Episode Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykThe 5-minute shiftThe Life LabThe Life Series1:1 CoachingLet’s work togetherMentioned in this episode:The 5-Minute Shift Mini CourseLearn more about The 5-Minute Shift mini course, a brain-based approach to feeling better now. S2 Ep 19Knowing Is Less Than Half The Battle

You already know what to do, but you’re still not doing it. Sound familiar? In this episode, Cecelia explains the frustrating gap between awareness and action, and why more information isn’t the answer. If you’ve ever wondered why you're not making progress despite all the books, podcasts, and insights you’ve gathered, it’s likely your nervous system (not your willpower) that’s in charge. This conversation explores what’s really keeping high-achieving women stuck and how to stop blaming yourself and start working with your body and beliefs instead.Episode Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykThe 5-minute shiftThe Life LabThe Life Series1:1 CoachingLet’s work togetherMentioned in this episode:The 5-Minute Shift Mini CourseLearn more about The 5-Minute Shift mini course, a brain-based approach to feeling better now. S2 Ep 18Why Can't You Get It Together? (And What To Do About It)

Why is it so hard to follow through, even when we want to? In this episode, Cecelia unpacks the quiet, persistent question so many high-achieving women carry into the new year: “Why can’t I get it together?” If your life looks fine on the outside but still feels like a struggle, this episode will shift how you see yourself and your goals. Cecelia reveals how outdated beliefs and a protective nervous system (not a lack of willpower) might be behind the resistance, and how learning to work with yourself rather than against yourself can unlock a whole new way forward.Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykThe 5-minute shiftThe Life LabThe Life Series1:1 CoachingMentioned in this episode:The 5-Minute Shift Mini CourseLearn more about The 5-Minute Shift mini course, a brain-based approach to feeling better now. S2 Ep 17Becoming Her: The Identity Work that No One Teaches Women

What does it really mean to become the woman who can hold the life she wants? In this final episode of the three-part series, Cecelia explores the identity work that sits at the heart of everything—the shift from who you've been told you are to who you're actually becoming. Most of the identities you carry (I'm too much, I'm not enough, I'm behind, I'm inconsistent) were never yours to begin with. They were handed to you by people, workplaces, cultures, and moments that needed you to be someone safe and acceptable. But those old identities are keeping you stuck in a past version of yourself and your work isn't to fight them, but to forgive them so you can release them with love. Cecelia shares her own stories of identity shifts (including a powerful moment on her yoga mat where she decided to stop listening to the old thoughts as truth) and walks you through what it really takes to expand into a larger life. This isn't about becoming someone new—it's about returning to yourself, choosing the future version of you over the past one, and building the capacity to feel and hold more goodness, more alignment, more you. If you've been waiting for permission to step into the woman you're becoming, this episode is it.Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykThe 5-minute shiftThe Life LabThe Life Series1:1 CoachingMentioned in this episode:The 5-Minute Shift Mini CourseLearn more about The 5-Minute Shift mini course, a brain-based approach to feeling better now. S2 Ep 16The Third Way To Grow Without Hustle Or Abandoning Yourself

What if there’s a third way to grow, one that doesn’t burn you out or make you disappear from your own life?In this episode, Cecelia shares a deeply personal perspective on what happens when the only options we know are hustle or hiding. If you've ever felt caught between pushing too hard or pulling away completely, this conversation offers something softer. Something truer. Cecelia introduces the “third way,” a compassionate path to growth rooted in nervous system safety, self-trust, and clarity, not force. This is for anyone who’s ever thought, “There has to be another way.Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykThe 5-minute shiftThe Life LabThe Life Series1:1 CoachingMentioned in this episode:The 5-Minute Shift Mini CourseLearn more about The 5-Minute Shift mini course, a brain-based approach to feeling better now. S2 Ep 15When You Don't Know What You Want: Understanding Self-Abandonment & Identity

Have you ever caught yourself saying "I don't know what I want"—whether it's about dinner, your career, or the direction of your life? In this episode, Cecelia unpacks why this common phrase isn't actually about confusion, it's about protection. Starting with the seemingly small moment of choosing what to eat for dinner, Cecelia reveals how those tiny moments of self-abandonment add up to a larger pattern of silencing our own desires. She shares her own story of leaving a successful career in oil and gas, and why she genuinely believed she didn't know what she wanted (spoiler: she knew, she just didn't feel safe admitting it). This episode explores why your nervous system may have learned that it's safer to disconnect from your desires than to honor them—and how you can begin creating the conditions for your true wants to emerge. If you've ever felt disconnected from yourself or struggled to name what you really want, this episode will help you understand why and remind you that nothing is wrong with you.Register for the Becoming Her 2026 workshop here. S2 Ep 14Why You Can’t Get Organized (And How to Fix It in 2026)

You’ve probably told yourself you're just “bad at staying organized.” Maybe you've bought the planner, downloaded the app, tried all the systems, and still nothing sticks. In this episode, I’m sharing what’s actually behind that cycle (hint: it’s not laziness or lack of discipline). We’ll explore the deeper reasons your brain resists change, the link between self-concept and organization, and why safety (not systems) must come first. S2 Ep 13Your Nervous System is Behind Everything, Here's How to Work With It

If you’ve ever snapped at your kids, forgotten what you were doing mid-task, or felt like a completely different person depending on the day, this episode is for you. Cecelia shares how your nervous system is quietly running everything in the background of your life: your moods, your patience, your productivity, your clarity. And more importantly, how to work with it instead of against it. Cecelia guides you through how nervous system regulation can change your inner dialogue, your relationships, and your entire sense of self. You don’t need a retreat or a perfect routine. S2 Ep 12If Resting is Hard, You're Not Alone

What if the reason you struggle to rest isn’t because you’re undisciplined, but because your nervous system doesn’t feel safe doing it?In this episode, Cecelia unpacks what’s really going on when rest feels impossible, even when you have the time. From unexpected 30-minute windows to full vacations, our brains often sabotage our rest with guilt, productivity loops, or inner voices whispering, “You should be doing something.” This isn’t about time management; it’s about identity, conditioning, and nervous system safety. If you’ve ever felt restless, anxious, or even guilty when trying to do nothing, this episode will help you understand why and how to start shifting your inner beliefs around rest.Episode Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykThe 5-minute shiftThe Life LabThe Life Series1:1 CoachingLet’s work togetherMentioned in this episode:The 5-Minute Shift Mini CourseLearn more about The 5-Minute Shift mini course, a brain-based approach to feeling better now. S2 Ep 11Your Brain Is a Yes-Woman and Your Beliefs Are Running the Show

What if your brain is agreeing with everything you believe, even when it’s not helpful? In this episode, Cecelia unpacks the way your thoughts shape your reality, and how your brain’s “yes-woman” tendencies can quietly reinforce stress, resentment, or self-doubt. From parenting to the holidays to aging, she shares real stories (and science) to show how your reticular activating system filters the world through what you already think is true. The good news is that you can soften those beliefs (without toxic positivity) and create more peace, ease, and support in your everyday life.Episode Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykThe 5-minute shiftThe Life LabThe Life Series1:1 CoachingLet’s work togetherMentioned in this episode:The 5-Minute Shift Mini CourseLearn more about The 5-Minute Shift mini course, a brain-based approach to feeling better now. If you’ve ever twisted yourself into knots trying to keep everyone happy, your boss, your partner, your parents, your kids, this episode is for you.Cecelia unpacks one of the most liberating truths she teaches in coaching: you can’t create feelings in other people, and no one can create feelings in you. That quiet voice whispering “you’re not enough” is more than self-doubt; it’s a cycle that keeps you stuck in disconnection and exhaustion. In this episode of Millennial Midlife, Cecelia unpacks the Not Enough Cycle, the subconscious loop that drives overwork, comparison, and perfectionism. S2 Ep 4When Willpower Stops Working

How much willpower do you use just to get through a day: getting out of bed, pushing through deadlines, keeping up with responsibilities? For a while, willpower works. But eventually, it runs out. And when it does, many of us panic and wonder, “What’s wrong with me?”In this episode of Millennial Midlife, Cecelia explains why willpower isn’t broken (you’re not broken), it’s just not a sustainable tool. She unpacks the fears that sit beneath our reliance on willpower, why force only gets us so far, and what to do instead. S2 Ep 3Welcome to Your Crisis-Free Midlife

When you hear “midlife,” do you picture a crisis: sports cars, dramatic career changes, chasing lost youth? The truth is, midlife doesn’t have to be a slump or a crisis. It can be a turning point toward deeper connection, self-awareness, and fulfillment. In this episode of Millennial Midlife, Cecelia challenges the cultural narrative of the midlife crisis. She explores the research behind the “U-shape of happiness,” why midlife often feels dissonant, and how resisting change leads to crisis. Most importantly, she offers a new perspective: midlife as a powerful invitation to pause, get curious, and reconnect with yourself. Fast forward to adulthood, and maybe those same rules now leave you exhausted, resentful, and disconnected. In this episode of Millennial Midlife, Cecelia unpacks the hidden “rule books” we carry, the endless lists of shoulds that keep us stuck on autopilot. She shares how these rules are wired into our brains for safety and belonging, why they feel so hard to break, and the first step toward freedom: learning to name them. You’ll learn simple ways to notice your shoulds in the wild, reframe obligations, and shift from autopilot to conscious choice, so you can begin living with more authenticity, calm, and self-trust. S1 Ep 56Let It Be Simple: A Pause, A Shift, A New Season

“Being this gentle observer of your own experience… it sounds simple. But it’s life-changing.”In this episode, I’m sharing where I am right now, personally and with this podcast. I’ve been feeling the nudge to slow down, to shift the rhythm, and to give myself permission to stop doing things out of obligation. That includes releasing the idea that I need to show up here every week just because I said I would. You’ll hear about why it’s okay to follow your energy instead of the “shoulds,” how honoring your own cycles creates more impact (not less) and why you don’t need to force anything to make it meaningful. I also talk about the power of presence, simple practices that truly change your brain, and how this work continues—even when I’m not in your ears every week.Thank you for being here. I’m not disappearing. I’m just giving myself some breathing room. S1 Ep 55Reminder: You Are Not Your Emotions

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, “Ugh, I’m just an angry person,” or “Why am I always like this?” In this episode of Calmer Conversations, I want to offer you what is hopefully an effective reframe: just because you feel an emotion doesn’t mean it defines who you are. Feeling anger doesn’t make you an angry person. Feeling fear doesn’t mean you’re fearful. I talk about how emotions are physical sensations that move through us and how the stories we attach to them are often what cause the most suffering. When we learn to separate who we are from what we feel, we open up space for choice, compassion, and real change. This is the kind of shift that can truly change how you move through your day and your life. S1 Ep 54Self-Regulation as a Form of Activism

I recorded this episode on the 4th of July—a day that made me reflect on the state of the world and how this inner work fits into it all. There’s so much heartbreak and division right now, and while I don’t follow the 24/7 news cycle, I do try to stay aware of what’s happening. In this conversation, I’m talking about the difference between reactive outrage and intentional action, and why nervous system regulation is a powerful place to begin if you want to create meaningful change. S1 Ep 53Why It's So Hard to Feel Your Feelings (And How to Start)

In this episode, I’m exploring why so many of us struggle to feel our emotions, especially the hard ones like disappointment, anger, or grief. I share a story about my daughter at a yard sale that perfectly illustrates how emotional suppression often starts in childhood, and how we unintentionally carry those patterns into adulthood. I also talk about what’s really happening in our brains and bodies when we try to avoid discomfort, and why learning to feel our feelings is a powerful act of self-trust. S1 Ep 52Letting Go of Right and Wrong: Living in Ambiguity

Most of us were taught to see life in binaries: right or wrong, good or bad, success or failure. But what if the real magic happens when we step away from certainty and into ambiguity? In today’s episode, I explore how dropping binary thinking opens the door to deeper self-trust, creativity, and fulfillment. We’ll talk about why your brain craves certainty, how childhood conditioning shaped your relationship to “right” and “wrong,” and gentle ways you can start shifting toward nuance and possibility in your daily life. You'll learn how these simple but powerful questions help create space between you and your thoughts, and why compassionate listening (not silencing your mind) is the first step toward real change. What if the thoughts you’re trying to silence are actually offering you something important?Today on Calmer Conversations, I’m sharing why trying to shut up your brain—or numb out your spiraling thoughts—might be making things harder, not easier. Instead of ignoring the loud, uncomfortable parts of yourself, I offer a different path: compassionate listening. You’ll hear why your brain acts the way it does, what ignoring it really costs you, and how learning to acknowledge and gently work with your inner critic can shift everything. This episode is an invitation to stop fighting yourself and start understanding yourself—with practical ways to begin.Episode Resources:Join The Life LabThe 5-minute shiftInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 48The 12 Core Pillars: A Personal Check-In for Real Life

“You don’t need to be running on all 12 cylinders to feel balanced—but checking in helps you know where you are and where you want to go.”In this episode of Calmer Conversations, I’m walking you through a personal practice I return to again and again: checking in with the 12 pillars of health, purpose, relationships, and resources. These are the foundations I use in my own life and inside the Life Lab to help people feel more supported, more grounded, and more alive. This isn’t about perfection. It’s about awareness. About pausing long enough to say—what’s working? What am I proud of? And where might I want to shift some energy? Whether you want to feel more joy, find better balance, or just get honest with yourself in a loving way, this episode gives you a starting place. You don’t have to change it all—just begin with noticing.Episode Resources:Join The Life LabInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 47Check In With You: A Gentle Monthly Practice

How do you want to remember last month? What story do you want to carry forward—and what are you ready to leave behind? In this episode of Calmer Conversations, I’m walking you through one of my favorite practices we use every month in the Life Lab: the monthly check-in. It’s simple, powerful, and something you can do right now, no journal or special planner required (though I’ve created one of those if you want it!). We’ll explore how to look back at your month—not to judge it, but to tell an intentional story about what really happened. A story that’s grounded in truth, compassion, and actual growth. We’ll also talk about how to look ahead: how to set gentle goals or intentions that fit your real life—not the idealized one you think you should be living. This practice has helped me (and so many others) shift from being stuck in perfectionism or autopilot into actually feeling proud of how we show up—messy days and all. Try it out. Let me know how it goes.Episode Resources:Join The Life LabThe Wins CourseInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 46Before You Change, Notice What You're Choosing

"You can’t choose something different until you’re aware of what you’re choosing."When I heard this, something clicked. It reminded me how often we’re moving through our days on autopilot—reacting, responding, spiraling—and not even realizing that we’re making choices at all.In this episode, I talk about what it means to notice. Noticing the small ways we show up with ourselves, with our thoughts, with the world around us. So often, the way we feel isn’t about what’s happening externally—it’s about what we’re choosing internally, whether or not we realize it. I walk through how we begin to bring gentle awareness to those choices. The moment we notice we’re choosing frustration, shame, or disconnection, we open up the possibility of choosing something else: compassion, empowerment, presence. And when we shift what’s happening inside, the way we experience everything outside begins to shift too.Try this out in your day. Gently notice. Ask yourself, what am I choosing right now? You might be surprised by how much more spacious your life begins to feel.Episode Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 45What If You Didn’t Need to Fix Your Body?

In this episode of Calmer Conversations, we pause. We ground. And we talk about the relationship so many of us have with our bodies—especially as we move through midlife, motherhood, hormonal shifts, and the endless messaging that tells us we’re not quite enough. If you’ve ever felt like your body had to be fixed before it could be loved, this one is for you. I walk you through a powerful perspective shift: that your body isn’t your enemy—it’s your ally. It’s the vehicle through which you get to experience life. You don’t need to earn rest, love, or appreciation. You can start treating your body like a partner now—flaws, softness, and all. Together we’ll breathe, we’ll reflect, and I’ll guide you through small ways to begin talking to yourself with more kindness. Because your body is already worthy. And so are you.Episode Resources:Listen to episode 44: When It’s Time to Let Go of ‘Good’ Things Join The Life LabInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 44When It’s Time to Let Go of ‘Good’ Things

Today’s episode is part grounding, part storytelling, part revelation—and it's rooted in something simple yet powerful: gardening. I share the story of how volunteering on a rose farm while studying for the GMAT led me to one of the biggest mindset shifts of my life. It’s all about the importance of letting go of what’s past its prime, even when it looks beautiful on the surface. Just like a rosebush needs deadheading to thrive, we sometimes need to lovingly prune our own lives—habits, beliefs, identities—that are no longer serving us. It’s not easy. It takes courage. But it’s one of the most essential things we can do if we want to redirect our energy and grow into something fuller, freer, and more alive. If you're feeling stuck, or like you’re spinning your wheels in something that once worked but doesn’t anymore, this episode is for you.Episode Resources:Join The Life LabInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 43How to Use Noticing to Shift Your Patterns

Welcome back to Calmer Conversations. In last week’s episode, we talked about how noticing—especially through the lens of therapy or venting—can sometimes leave us stuck in the same loops. This week, we shift that lens entirely. I walk you through how noticing becomes a powerful tool for change—not through shame, judgment, or urgency, but through gentle, curious observation. You’ll learn what it means to turn inward, to notice your own thought and emotion patterns, and how to gently zoom out so you can start to see your brain’s “lines of code” for what they are: practiced thoughts, not ultimate truths. If you’ve ever wanted to shift your habits, self-talk, or emotional responses—but without pushing or forcing—this episode is your invitation into a new way of working with yourself.Episode Resources:Listen to episode 41: Why You're Still Stuck (Even If You've Been in Therapy for Years)Listen to episode 42: The Noticing That Actually Changes ThingsJoin The Life LabThe 5-minute shiftInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 42The Noticing That Actually Changes Things

If you’ve ever thought, “I know what the problem is, but I just keep doing the same thing,” this episode is for you. Last week, we talked about what happens when noticing your patterns isn’t enough—when therapy, venting, or awareness has taken you as far as it can. This week, we’re flipping that around. In this episode, I discuss the kind of noticing that does move the needle—the deep, internal noticing that helps you understand your own brain, your nervous system, and the stories running beneath the surface. This is the work that actually changes your day-to-day life. Noticing isn’t just about knowing what’s wrong—it’s about becoming aware of your internal programming so you can shift it, regulate your responses, and finally feel different. We go there today.Episode Resources:Listen to episode 41: Why You're Still Stuck (Even If You've Been in Therapy for Years)Join The Life LabInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 41Why You're Still Stuck (Even If You've Been in Therapy for Years)

If you’ve been in therapy or doing inner work for a while but still feel stuck in the same cycles, this episode is for you. I’m sharing a conversation that comes up over and over with clients: what happens when you’ve become deeply self-aware but change still isn’t happening. There’s nothing wrong with you—and there’s nothing wrong with therapy—but there comes a point where knowing your patterns just isn’t enough. Today, I talk about why noticing alone won’t create transformation, what to do when you hit a growth plateau, and how coaching and brain-based tools can help you finally move forward. This is the first of a two-part series—next time, I’ll talk about how noticing can be your greatest tool for change (when you use it differently).Episode Resources:Join The Life LabInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 40How to Stop the Spiral and Actually Process Your Emotions

I used to think spiraling was just part of being emotional—until I realized it was actually my brain’s sneaky way of avoiding what I really needed to feel. In this episode, I talk about the real difference between processing an emotion and spiraling in it. One helps you move through life with more ease. The other keeps you stuck. I share stories from clients, from my own life, and some really practical ways to recognize what’s happening in your brain and body so you can start feeling your feelings instead of being overwhelmed by them. This one’s for you if you ever feel stuck, overly reactive, or exhausted by your own emotions (been there). You don’t have to spiral—you can learn to process. I promise.Episode Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 39Change Doesn’t Have to Be So Hard

You haven't failed—your method just might be exhausting. In this episode, I’m sharing one of the most powerful mindset shifts I use with clients (and in my own life): What if it could be easy? So often, we assume that change has to be hard, that we need to push, force, or shame ourselves into doing something differently. But what if we’ve been putting all our effort in the wrong place? I’ll walk you through what happens when we stop trying to change our actions directly and instead focus on the thoughts and feelings that create those actions. You'll hear two client stories—one about parenting and one about body image—that show how change can feel natural, even effortless, when we stop forcing and start understanding. If you’ve been stuck in a cycle of “trying harder,” this episode is for you.Episode Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 38The Self-Love Work That Changes Everything

We hear all the time that self-love is important, but what does that actually mean? And why is it so hard to practice? After leading a four-day workshop on self-love, I wanted to bring some of the biggest takeaways here—why we resist self-love, how to recognize where we are in our relationship with ourselves, and what real self-love actually looks like in practice. If you’ve ever felt like self-love is too self-involved, too indulgent, or that you need to “fix” yourself before you can love who you are, tune in now. Because self-love isn’t about becoming someone different—it’s about seeing yourself clearly, shifting the way you speak to yourself, and finally feeling at home with who you already are.Episode Resources:The 5-minute shiftSelf-Love SessionsInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 37How to Create a Morning Routine That Supports You

Morning routines get a lot of hype, and for a long time, I believed I needed the perfect one to fix everything in my life. Over the years, I’ve had all kinds of morning routines—from an intense 4-hour spiritual practice to a quick 15-minute routine squeezed between the chaos of parenting. And what I’ve learned is this: there’s no single right way to start your day. In this episode, I’m sharing my personal journey with morning routines, what I’ve let go of, and how I make mine work for me right now. If you’ve ever felt like you should have a structured morning routine but can’t seem to stick with one, this episode will help you rethink what it means to start your day intentionally—without the pressure of getting it “just right.”Episode Resources:Instagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 36How to Feel and Process Emotions in Real Time

You haven't actually processed any emotion that hangs around for more than 60 to 90 seconds. Now, read that again. Most of us think we’re dealing with our emotions when we talk about them, distract ourselves, or push them down—but the truth is, if an emotion stays, we haven’t really processed it. In this episode, I’m breaking down what it actually means to feel an emotion in real time, why avoiding or resisting feelings makes them stick around longer, and how you can shift your emotional state in just a couple of minutes. If you’ve ever been caught in frustration, shame, or overwhelm for hours (or even days), this episode is for you.Episode Resources:The 5-minute shiftInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 35What If Life Is More Beautiful Than I Can Imagine?

What if life is already more beautiful, easier, or more abundant than you’ve allowed yourself to see? I came across a simple but powerful question that made me rethink how we experience the world, and I want to share it with you today. In this episode, I’ll talk about how your brain filters reality, why you might not be seeing the joy or calm that’s already present, and how a small shift in perspective can change the way you experience life. If you’ve ever felt stuck in the belief that things have to change before you can be happy, this episode is for you.Episode Resources:How You Talk to Yourself (and Others) MattersYou'll See It When You Believe It by Dr. Wayne DyerInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! Life can feel overwhelming—whether it’s a tough day with your kids or the world just feels heavy. Lately, so many people have told me they feel unsettled, so I wanted to talk about how to find your own calm, no matter what’s happening around you. In this episode, I’m sharing what’s helped me and my clients stay steady when things feel chaotic. Because real peace doesn’t come from everything around you being perfect—it comes from how you work with your own mind and emotions. Today I want to talk about insomnia–I’m not a doctor so I won’t be giving any medical advice or supplements to take, but I want to talk about how I’ve seen the issue of sleep come up time and time again for my coaching clients. While there might be real things happening in your body that are preventing sleep, I think it’s also really important to look at the stories you have around sleep. We know that the thoughts that we have, the beliefs we have, create our reality. So how can we use this idea and actually work with it to potentially get better sleep? S1 Ep 32Dreaming vs. Doing: How to Work With Your Desires

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the difference between daydreaming about a different life and actually knowing what you want. Someone sent in a question about this—about feeling stuck in a cycle of imagining a better future but never really knowing how to get there. And I get it. It’s so easy to think happiness is somewhere else, in some other version of life that feels just out of reach. So in this episode, I want to talk about that—about how to tell the difference between dreaming and wanting, how to know if something is a real desire or just an escape, and how to bring more of what you actually want into your life right now. If you’ve ever felt frustrated with where you are but unsure of what to do next, this one’s for you.Episode Resources:Listen: What College Football Taught Me About Failure, Growth, and Living in the MomentInstagram: @ceceliabmandrykLet’s work together! S1 Ep 31What College Football Taught Me About Failure, Growth, and Living in the Moment

I didn’t expect to learn so much from watching college football, but I did. This season, I got caught up in the games, cheering with my in-laws, and I started to see how much sports can teach us about life. In this episode, I’m sharing five key lessons I learned—about handling failure, learning from challenges, and staying present in the moment. Even if you’re not into sports, these ideas might help you look at problems differently and find new ways to keep going. By challenging the common narrative of tiredness and shifting to more positive affirmations, such as “I'm alive,” you can change their mindset and improve your morning routines.
