Around 9000 clubs, societies, trade associations, professional and regulatory bodies and industry councils are in line to possibly be slapped with a tax bill. Inland Revenue has changed its interpretation of the law, and now believes the subscriptions and levies members pay to some not-for-profit organisations should be taxed. The OE is a classic experience for many young New Zealanders, but new data shows there's a higher cohort of skilled professionals aged 25 to 45 leaving in droves. After a series of streakers interrupted the opening round of Super Rugby Pacific over the weekend, Matt Heath and Tyler Adams asked what the motivation is and whether there's a solution to it. That prompted Aaron Bain to call, one of the infamous streakers who interrupted a Bledisloe Cup test in 2002 covered in Vodafone branding. While he says he wasn't paid by the Australian telco for the stunt, he revealed there was a deal that if he made it to the field he would get paid $500, and if they got on TV they would get $1000, and all their fines would be paid for. 23 years later, he told Matt and Tyler that he had a a good time. "I'll tell you that it was funny, everybody knew me, my grandparents were proud." And his only regret? "I regret that we lost the game."  Colombian President Gustavo Petro made headlines all over the world after claiming cocaine was 'no worse than whisky' during a live broadcast of a government meeting. During a six-hour ministerial meeting – broadcast live for the first time ever – the President also suggested  the global cocaine industry could be 'easily dismantled' if the drug were legalised worldwide. UFC star Israel Adesanya has thrown his support behind a new bill criminalising 'coward punches'. The bill would amend the Crimes Act to criminalise strikes to the head or neck in situations where the victim is not able to defend themselves. It would also amend the definition of murder in the Act if someone were to die from a coward punch. National MP Paulo Garcia first introduced the bill, and he says clear legal consequences will be a good deterrent to stopping these attacks.
