In Law Abiding Biker Podcast Episode 40 we covered this topic in length. Below is some updated information and articles on the controversy. EPA acknowledges ethanol damages engines: READ ARTICLE HERE According to the EPA, "[e]thanol impacts motor vehicles in two primary ways. First ... ethanol enleans the [air/fuel] ratio (increases the proportion of oxygen relative to hydrocarbons) which can lead to increased exhaust gas temperatures and potentially increase incremental deterioration of emission control hardware and performance over time, possibly causing catalyst failure. Second, ethanol can cause materials compatibility issues, which may lead to other component failures." "In motorcycles and nonroad products [using E15 and higher ethanol blends], EPA raised engine-failure concerns from overheating." Ep 42LAB-42-2nd Amendment Motorcycle Club | Official Podcast Interrogation

VISIT THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBSITE ==> http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-In this episode I have the privilege of interviewing Mike Petry, who is the National President and a founding member of the 2nd Amendment Motorcycle Club (MC). Okay, so the club name certainly gives a clear idea of what they stand for-right? Let me tell you that there is so much more to this motorcycle club and its members & you should definitely take a listen to this episode. We really break it down from how the 2nd Amendment Motorcycle Club came into existence, their struggles, their accomplishments, their ideologies, their beliefs, and just what makes them tick. We dive further into what it may take to become a member of the 2nd Amendment MC and how to get in touch if you are interested. Mike has a pretty cool background and some real insight into starting a law abiding biker (LAB) club from the ground up and what it takes to keep a law abiding biker club in line and running smooth. He has experience with another LAB club and has certainly learned along the way. I learned that at the end of the day the 2nd Amendment Motorcycle Club is all about the law abiding biker motorcycle scene, riding motorcycles, and protecting our right to bear arms as American Citizens. After all, what's better than riding motorcycles and shooting guns? Can't get any more American than that! Okay, maybe some cold beer too. The following is written and approved by the 2nd Amendment Motorcycle Club (MC): "2nd Amendment MC. Was founded by 3 FFM (First Founding Members). Feb 23, 2013 since then we've had 1 FFM step down and away from the club to start a new chapter in his life. We developed the by-laws for basic guidelines. As the mother chapter we do not micro manage each chapter. With that being said the by-laws do give us the right to over rule anything on a chapter level. We do watch over the chapters in the beginning. Once we fully trust that chapter we'll give them authorization to order our patches directly from our embroider. We wanted a club that felt strongly about the 2nd Amendment. Although we strongly encourage it we do not require our members to have a conceal carry permit. 2nd Amendment is way bigger that just the CCW's. One of the things we do to all our vests is what we call Preparing the vest. Before the patch is placed on the vest the President or Vice President will firing a shot through the back of the vest, of course creating a hole. The hole in the vest under the patch will represent the path, for the colors, to have contact with the body of our members. We refer to this as "Letting our colors bleed". Bullet hole will be an internal honor of 2AMC to all of our full patched members. All efforts will be made to recover the spent round. With come creativity it can be fixed to the outside of the member or vest. Our National Sgt at Arms made his into a chain necklace. As of now we have 3 chapters. Mother chapter being in the Columbus Ohio area. With 2 other chapters in Portsmouth Ohio area (southern Ohio) and Indianapolis Indiana. We do have 2 other chapters in the beginning stages. We also have a handful of nomads members. Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, and Louisiana. We have 24 brothers. Going into our 2nd year as a club, and after listening to LAB pod cast, we have decided to become more selective in our members and chapters. Also, after listening, we came up with a rider formation for group rides. We feel no matter what we stand for, good or bad, public perception is reality. We can spend the whole summer doing good and erase all that perception with one single action. Something that we do not want to happen. Our back patch was designed by the National President and voted on by the national board (Mother chapter officers). Flag background speaks for itself. Red, White and Blue. (the colors are faded down some) The Skull represents the death of all that who have died for and who will die for the freedom of our great country. The eagle with the feathers over the skull represents the native Americans who believed our government when they were fooled to put down their weapons and allow to US Government to take care of them. As Americans we don't want to be taken care of. We want to be left a lone. The 2AMC is a law abiding members only club. We support most LE clubs, we have close friends that are LE. We are part of "The Alliance". Which is a LE, EMS, Military and law abiding coalition. Creating an umbrella for all Law Abiding Clubs and bikers. Putting the control back in the 99%. We feel that the 1% should not be setting standards for the biker community. LAB should reach out and be involved with The Alliance." 2nd Amendment Motorcycle Club MC Links: Website: http://2amc.org/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/2ndamc Twitter: https://twitter.com/2ndAmendmentMC -Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up! ________________________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE: Website: http://www.LawAbidin

Ep 41LAB-41-Motorcycle Lane Splitting Facts | Should it be Legalized Everywhere?

GO HERE FOR OUR OFFICIAL WEBSITE ==> http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-In this episode we talk in length about the American Motorcycle Association's (AMA's) recent quiet decision to endorse motorcycle lane splitting, which is only legal in a few areas right now, such as California. Are there safety concerns with motorcycle lane splitting for the rider? Is it safer to allow motorcycle lane splitting to avoid other hazards? What are the other hazards that would be avoided by allowing lane splitting? What states may allow lane splitting and do other countries allow it? We answer these and many more questions during this episode. This is an issue all bikers/motorcyclists should get involved with and to learn the facts before making an opinion. We try to give you all the information in this biker/motorcycle podcast episode, so you can do so. You really must listen to the podcast to get all the necessary information. A summary of the AMA position statement says: "Given the ongoing success of lane splitting in California and the recent enthusiasm for lane splitting and/or filtering in other states, the AMA endorses these practices and will assist groups and individuals working to bring legal lane splitting and/or filtering to their states." The AMA goes on to say, "Motorcyclists who oppose lane splitting should remember that it is optional in California. Permitting lane splitting is not [...]the same as requiring it, so those opposed to the practice should consider the desires of other motorcyclists who believe they would benefit from it. Lane splitting is an issue of choice." Motorcyclists encounter challenges from other roadway users and are constantly vigilant to unsafe conditions around them. One of the most dangerous situations for any on-highway motorcyclist is being caught in congested traffic, where stop-and-go vehicles, distracted and inattentive vehicle operators, and environmental conditions pose an increased risk of physical contact with another vehicle or hazard. Obviously, minor contact between a vehicle and motorcycle can be tragic for the motorcycle rider. The Hurt Report1, the most comprehensive motorcycle crash causation study to date, noted that, "Moderate or heavy traffic was the situation at 59.2% of the accidents [studied]." Reducing a motorcyclist's exposure to vehicles that are frequently accelerating and decelerating on congested roadways can be one way to reduce front- and rear-end collisions for those most vulnerable in traffic. In many countries motorcycle lane splitting is a very normal and accepted practice. It seems the United States is behind the times. Allowing motorcycle lane splitting can provide an escape route for motorcyclists who would otherwise be trapped or struck from behind. There is evidence (Hurt, 1981) that traveling between lanes of stopped or slow-moving cars (i.e., lane splitting) on multiple-lane roads (such as interstate highways) slightly reduces crash frequency compared with staying within the lane and moving with other traffic. Motorcycle lane splitting likely offers a means of reducing congestion in addition to possible safety benefits. For decades, California has been the only state to permit lane splitting. While not specifically permitted or prohibited in the California Vehicle Code, lane splitting authority comes from the California Highway Patrol. Of course all lane splitting should be done in a safe and prudent manner we believe here at Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast and Media. So far, states other than California, including Nevada, Oregon, Texas, etc., have considered legislation to legalize some form of lane splitting, but none have been signed into law. Additional Episode Information: In this episode we had an email follow up to Episode #37 reference the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland. Listener John O Keeffe of Ireland emails: Great pod cast (37).....Thank you for mentioning the wild Atlantic way. Just to answer some of your questions. There are several motorcycle retails in Ireland. However the only company renting Harley's is Celtic rider, they have Electra glides and fat bobs. They are situated in Dublin city which is the Capitol of Ireland. I'm living in cork city which is at the starting point or finishing point of the wild Atlantic way, depending on weather you start up north in Belfast with the IRA or in cork city! There is also a video on YouTube advertising the wild Atlantic way! Check it out.. Ps.. Tell the guys that the Guinness, Jameson and Bushmills never stops flowing in Ireland. Next, we had a Law Abiding Biker Facebook Page post from listener Jim Dimitrious of Western KY. He sent a great idea on how to mount a motorcycle wheel chock. It looked like he used a 2 foot wide by maybe 6 foot long piece of plywood and bolted the motorcycle wheel chock to that. It looks like by the time the front wheel gets to the chock the back wheel is on the plywood, thus holding it down, so it doesn't slide (push) the wheel chock forward. Keep the

LAB-40-The E15 Ethanol Fuel Controversy & Breakdown | Should I use E15 Fuel in my Motorcycle?

OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER PODCAST ==> http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-In this episode we cut through all the smoke, mirrors, politics, and money involved with the rising controversy about whether or not E15 ethanol fuel, also called renewable fuel, is safe to be used in motorcycles, ATV's, and small engines. We have a very heated discussion and really break it down on this biker podcast episode for all the bikers/motorcyclists out there, who have a right to know whether E15 fuel is safe to use. Biker/motorcyclists should know that if you use E15 in your motorcycle it will likely VOID YOUR WARRANTY. Read your motorcycle owner's manual and paperwork, as it likely states in there somewhere that using E15 fuel will void your motorcycle's warranty. It is in the Harley Davidson manual for certain, so beware. Also know that the EPA is pushing E15 fuel and you may get confused and use the fuel in your motorcycle by mistake from blender pumps that are already in service around the country. Be very cautious when fueling your motorcycle and read the labels. You really must listen to this podcast episode to get all the details! Alcohol in E15 fuel is mainly made from corn and contains less combustible energy than gasoline. E15 fuel first became available at gas stations in 2013. E15 is currently offered in Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. It is thought, but not proved, to be the cause of some engine failures that motorcyclists have experienced and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) can not prove otherwise at this point. In fact, the EPA has approved E15 use only in 2001-and-newer light-duty vehicles, which include cars, light-duty trucks and medium-duty passenger vehicles. The EPA has not approved its use in any motorcycles or ATVs. The EPA said, "Nearly all gasoline sold in the U.S. is now E10," which is fuel with up to 10 percent ethanol. E15 is a fuel blend of 15 percent ethanol and 85 percent gasoline. Accidental use of E15 by bikers/motorcyclists has led in some cases to void motorcycle warranties and in some extreme cases motorcycle engine failure. The federal Renewable Fuel Standards program, which the EPA administers, requires that 18.15 billion gallons of renewable fuels such as ethanol be blended into gasoline and diesel fuel in 2014. The standards ensure that transportation fuel sold in the United States contains a minimum volume of renewable fuel as required by the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007. Federal law also gives the EPA administrator flexibility to reduce the required volume of renewable fuels in any year. EPA Administrator Regina "Gina" McCarthy took advantage of that flexibility by recognizing the "blend wall" and proposed reducing the amount of renewable fuels to be blended in 2014 from 18.15 billion gallons to a proposed range of 15.0 to 15.52 billion gallons, with a recommendation of 15.21 billion gallons. On March 4, 2013, President Barack Obama nominated Regina "Gina" McCarthy to replace Lisa Jackson as head of the EPA. Production of renewable fuels has been growing rapidly in recent years. However, at the same time, advances in vehicle fuel economy and other economic factors have pushed gasoline consumption far lower than what was expected when Congress passed the Renewable Fuel Standard in 2007. As a result, we are now at the 'E10 blend wall,' the point at which the E10 fuel pool is saturated with ethanol." American Motorcycle Association (AMA) Vice President for Government Relations Wayne Allard says, "We're glad to see that the EPA is taking this action today, though this is not a long-term solution for motorcyclists who worry that the use of E15 fuel could damage their engines and void their warranties," The American Motorcyclist Association remains committed to AMA members-and all motorcyclists-as we continue to support legislation that prohibits E15 fuel." Video-Secret, Dirty Cost of Obama's Green Power Push: There is some good happening in all this. President Obama has signed into law recently a provision to stop the future distribution of E15 fuels across the U.S. It prohibits the use of grant money by the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) to purchase and install ethanol blender pumps to dispense E15 at retail gas stations. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack had intended to use REAP funding to install a further 10,000 blender pumps in the U.S. by 2016. The AMA said that it considers this farm-bill provision a major victory for the owners and riders of the estimated 22 million motorcycles and ATVs currently in operation in the U.S. Since 2011, the AMA has campaigned to prevent the distribution of E15 fuels, seeking independent scientific tests on their effect on motorcycle and all-terrain vehicle engines and fuel systems. After the introduction of E15 into the marketplace, the AMA fought its spread, because of concerns about people using the fuel by mistake from blender pum

Ep 39LAB-39-Long Haul Paul's True Life Story | Paul Pelland Interview

OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBSITE: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-In this episode we dive into the true life story of a very remarkable Law Abiding Biker. Paul Pelland, also known as "Long Haul Paul", has a truly amazing story and he shares everything with me in this interview. You won't want to miss this biker podcast episode of true inspiration and dedication. I learned that Paul Pelland is an absolute machine and force to be reckoned with in spite of the fact that in 2005 he was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS). He didn't let that stop him from being a biker and he made it his life's mission to ride his motorcycle a million miles in his fight to bring awareness to MS. It is called "Paul Pelland's Endless Road Tour". In addition, he is driving efforts to raise money for MS research and to find a cure! The inaugural 2013 MS5000 ride was a great successful fundraiser. 45 riders collectively rode 200,000 miles while raising $23,000 for Multiple Sclerosis. Anyone can enter the MS5000 event and you ride the miles you can to support the National MS Society. The reason for this Law Abiding Biker Podcast Episode is because of a loyal listener's email. He made me aware of Paul Pelland and his mission. I want to thank Quentin Lewis of Leicester, MA for the following email: "You probably don't know me (except for some dumb comments on FB as one of your podcast listeners), but I wanted to introduce you to Paul Pelland, known as "Long Haul Paul", because he was an Iron Butt rally guy in a prior life.....I say prior life because that was before he was diagnosed with Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS). Anyways.....he has made it his mission to ride for MS, and he is working on what he calls his "Million Miles for a Cure". Paul has organized the MS5000, and it is a ride that any of us can make where we will ride 5000 miles in 50 days. (Or for those of us unable to make that distance, a combination of miles and money.....because after all, this is actually a fun way for us riders to raise money for the cause and have a good excuse to ride!) You can learn more about him here: http://www.longhaulpaul.com. I am not connected with Paul, but I did see his talk at last years Americade, and found him to be a real rider who is trying to use his abilities to raise money for a good cause. Anyways, I suggest you contact him for an interview.....he is a great guy, and I am sure he would love to get people involved with his MS5000 ride." INTERVIEW About Paul Pelland Where do you live? Ep 38LAB-38-Motorcycle Belt Final Drive vs. Chain Final Drive | That is the question

OUR OFFICIAL WEBSITE IS==> http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-In this episode we read an email from a listener who is contemplating a big change from a Honda metric motorcycle to a Harley Davidson. She is used to a shaft final drive on her Honda motorcycle and is not familiar with the belt final drive that Harley Davidson uses on their motorcycles. Further, she is not certain about chain final drives that some use. She wanted to specifically know about the pros and cons of a motorcycle belt final drive vs. a chain final drive. Of course, we support all makes of motorcycles here at Law Abiding Biker Podcast and Media. We break straight through to the truths and myths when it comes to motorcycle chains and belts. We kept it real and focused in on what the average every day law abiding biker and motorcycling majority (the 99%ers) would need to know about this subject. Our dicussion is not geared towards motorcycle drag racers or track racers, as that is not what we do here at LAB Media. We ride real bikes in real world conditions and for long distances. Here is the email that was sent: From: Kelly Ušanović & Lijep Pozdrav: I have a Honda right but am contemplating the big change to a HD and have heard so many stories about maintenance and what a nightmare it is etc etc. so i hit up youtube and found your videos... first I wanted to take a min and say damn good videos. I have not gone through them all yet but I was wondering maybe a little something something about chain vs belt for those of us thinking of making a change. Right now I have an enclosed system and it's so easy. I really don't know anything about chain or belts pros cons maint..... Oh and thanks for the amazing videos both my bff and i (both female) were able to follow them no prob. love the videos. Most every Harley Davidson built after 1984 is equipped with a belt final drive. Final drives on an American motorcycle are either a "belt" or a "chain", not a shaft. We don't get into shaft final drives in this episode, but will hopefully do so in the future. In a motorcycle belt final drive system the round object with cogs on it on the rear wheel is called a "pulley". In a chain final drive system the round objects are called "sprockets". So, either you have a pulley with cogs that mate to the teeth on a rubber belt spinning off the transmission or you have a sprocket with teeth that mate to metal links on a chain. The belt on a motorcycle final drive is made of high tech compounds, rubber, and kevlar. Kevlar is what bullet proof vests are made of, so you can be certain is is extremely strong. A belt drive does not need any oil at all, they weigh less than a chain, they can last up to 100,000 miles before replacement, and they need no maintenance, because they generally do not stretch like a chain does. A few very old school type bikers that refuse to accept change may try to convince you that you just must have a chain in case you want to change gear ratios on your motorcycle. You can just swap out some sprockets and be ready to go. Okay, that's not what I need to do before a cross country trip on my motorcycle. Sounds great if you professionally drag race your motorcycle. They ask you what you are going to do if your belt suddenly snaps for no reason. If a chain breaks all you need to carry around is a little master link to repair it and your back on the road. Seems like maybe some sound arguements until you have all the actual facts. You see, in all my years of riding motorcycles with final belt drives and riding around a ton of other motorcyclists with the same set up, I have yet to see a motorcycle belt snap for any reason if replaced when the manufacturer recommends. I did speak with some motorcycle mechanics about this subject, as they see thousands of bikes come into the shop. Even they only had a few stories of motorcycle belts snapping suddenly. Theoretically, if you rode without your belt guard in place and then got a sharp rock stuck between the belt and pulley it can cause problems and cut your belt. Or if someone really and I mean really abuses their bike in racing or drag racing type situations it is a possibility. Again, these things do not concern that average biker or motorcyclist. Additionally, in that one in a million chance my belt final drives snaps they have what are called cellular phones these days. Oh yah, and did I mention tow trucks. Again, in all my years of riding I have never personally observed a motorcycle belt snap. I have seen burnout pit after burnout pit at biker rallies and events where rear tires are even popped, but I have not seen the belt snap yet. Although, I am sure it happens from time to time. That may fall in the category of really abusing your bike, but even at that the belts don't snap. Okay, now when you talk about chain final drives we've got some real life and proven issues to talk about. You see, a chain has metal links that are constantly tugging apart form the forces, which are torque and ho

Ep 37LAB-37-Riding Motorcycles in a Biker Club Environment | Group Motorcycle Riding Dynamics

OUR OFFICIAL WEBSITE IS ==> http://www.lawabidingbiker.com PODCAST-In this episode we read an email from a listener who had some great questions about riding motorcycles in a biker club environment or setting. We discuss this topic and try to shed some light on it. We here at Law Abiding Biker Podcast and Media are members of the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club (LEMC) and he asked how we specifically do it in our club. We have specific ways we ride within the Sworn Few LEMC and we share that information with you. We throw out some ideas that may work or not work for other Law Abiding Biker clubs. It turns into a very good discussion and certainly a topic we may follow up on in the future. Below is the email question from Todd of Western Washington State and we want to thank him for contacting us. His email made a whole podcast episode topic for us. He had some internesting insight into how his club currently rides within their motorcycle biker club environment. You really must listen to this biker podcast episode. Thanks man! I really appreciate the work you guys do in regards to the podcast. By far one of the best motorcycling podcasts out there. Hey guys, I'm a fellow LE biker type from a large nondescript Sheriff's Office over here in Seattle. I've been hammering through your podcasts and dig the information you have been putting out, even though not all of it necessarily applies to me. I also ride with a dedicated group of guys, albeit a different setup than a classic MC or LEMC. We are less structured, don't necessarily require LE credentials (although a majority are), and are open to all makes of bikes. We do have three "founding fathers" who largely steer the group and have veto power over anything contradictory to the benefit of the group as a whole. I was curious if you'd do a podcast or a portion of one on group ride dynamics. By that, I am curious as to your club's take on riding positions when you guys are in formation, if they are flexible, and what you feel each of those positions mean for you. I am well aware of standard MC protocols, but was curious if you had a variant on that take. As for us, we typically have three set positions on our rides. I generally serve as a road captain as I consider myself one of the stronger riders and navigators. We also put a strong rider in the middle and one at the rear to provide some necessary encouragement to those who are sandbagging. We like to ride aggressively (not like ass holes) and tight. We also recognize when dudes kind of want to do their own thing as far as riding styles and try to accommodate that when the roads allow for it. Another thought I am curious about is your club's feelings on a pair of dudes breaking off to do their own thing while in a particular area. We used to be against it for safety and logistical reasons, but we have since amended to having a standing rule of no less than two breaking off and a hard rally point where no one leaves from until we are all back together. All in all, I'm just looking to maximize our riding experiences. I'd appreciate your insight as you are a traditional MC and from the sounds of it, you seem to be making it work. Thanks! Todd The Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club (LEMC) follows a traditional motorcycle biker club formation when riding to events, short rides, on formal occasions, or any other time the President deems necessary. The traditional motorcycle biker club formation is as follows when riding motorcycles two abreast. Front left position is the President Front Right Position is the Road Captain Directly behind that are the other fully patched color wearing members to include the Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer At the rear to the right is the Sergeant at Arms Directly behind the fully patched color wearing members are the probationary/prospective members and follow the fully patched color wearing members At that tail are the hang arounds When the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club are on longer cross country rides for many days at a time we fall from these traditional positions as it would be boring to maintain and gives everyone a bit of freedom to just ride and enjoy the scenery. However, we still ride hard and to a specific level and fall back into formation if necessary. Often times not everyone will have a GPS unit on their bike, so it may be necessary for any member to take the lead to get to our destination. You really must take seriously who you choose to join your motorcycle biker club and that they have the proper riding skills. We get into this in depth on this podcast and reveal some of the things the Sworn Few LEMC has in place to make this happen. At times the Sworn Few LEMC Officers or fully patched color wearing members will allow hang arounds or prospective members into the main riding formation for short periods. This is simply part of our long prospective member process for the Sworn Few LEMC and to truly observe actual riding abilities of

That's right, just a year ago on March 16, 2013 I recorded and published my first Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast episode in my daughter's closet. I used nothing but an iPad Mini, the Bossjock app, and a Blue Snowball condenser microphone to record it. I was in my daughter's closet, because the condenser microphone picked up too much echo in my office. I did have an iMac already that I utilized to edit and distribute the audio files I created. I had been trying to sell an item for some time and finally did so after some prayers. Because of the that sale, I was able to order and purchase professional podcasting equipment and gear. I pieced my professional podcasting setup together and am still using it to this day. I was very selective about what equipment I bought and did not want to buy a standard package. I got a much better deal piecing it together myself and ordering from all different sources. Every penny counted for me when I was ordering my podcasting gear and I did a ton of research. So, by episode #4 of this new biker motorcycle podcast I had all my new professional podcasting equipment in place; Mixer, dynamic microphones, headphones, recorder etc. Of course I set up all this new podcasting gear in my home office, which over the past year has turned into the official Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast and Media Studio. Also, on podcast episode #4 I brought in a co-host and I have pretty much had one or two co-hosts in the studio per episode every since. I have done a couple special episodes alone along the way. I want to thank the co-hosts that have helped me over the past year and continue to do so. They are Lurch, LawDog (LD), Cuz, Chewy, PopEye, and Oscar. I played with the audio and levels a bit over the next few episodes and got things dialed in. We have had great feedback on our audio quality. I also started to figured out my workflow a bit on getting things edited and published. I built this website prior to ever recording my first biker motorcycle podcast episode, as I wanted it in place. I have been working on it and tweaking it every since. Hopefully in the future I will have a giant overhaul of the website, but we will have to see. The first few podcast episodes I created I did not provide very detailed show notes/blog. At some point I started providing a detailed blog/show notes to go along with the episodes and have stayed true to that. I also started just writing regular blogs about Law Abiding Biker related things. Then I started filming, editing, producing and publishing free review and tutorial videos and putting them on YouTube. Along with each video I wrote a detailed blog. I also began publishing vlogs. In less than a year I have created, edited, and published 27 free videos and 7 Vlogs that can be seen on my YouTube Channel. As of today, those videos have been viewed 236,165 times and the YouTube channel has 1,475 subscribers. When I started I really had no idea that the YouTube channel would take off like it did, as most of my focus was on the motorcycle biker podcast portion of the operation. Here are the top five most viewed free YouTube videos to date: Vance & Hines Dresser Twin Slash Rounds Slip-ons Mufflers Harley Davidson Touring (14,340 views) Remove install front wheel tire fender from Harley Davidson Motorcycle (17,336 views) How to remove install rear wheel tire of Haley Davidson Motorcycle (27,796) 2014 Harley Davidson Street Glide Special Amber Whiskey Color Overview (37,419) How to do routine maintenance oil change Harley Davidson Motorcycle (77,397) Believe it or not, the maintenance oil change video was the first video I released and it remains the most viewed. Over the past year I have filmed, edited, produced and published six for sale tutorial videos. They have been doing well and after purchase you can immediately download the videos. I thank each and every person that has purchased a video and for some, multiple videos. By purchasing these videos you are helping out Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast and Media to keep moving forward. You help us out and you get something valuable in return. Ep 35LAB-35-What is going to happen to you and your motorcycle when you die?

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-So, we ask the question what is going happen to you when you die? Do you have plans and have you told your loved ones what your wishes are as a motorcycle enthusiast? Do you want to be cremated or better yet; buried on you beloved Harley Davidson? We discuss an Ohio man whose wishes were to be buried on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Well, his wishes came true and I must say it might not be politically correct in some eyes. We say good for him and he rode his Harley through those pearly gates as he wished. Is it weird or creepy? You make the call on this one. This episode is packed with a ton of other topics and emails, so you best listen up. MECHANICSBURG, Ohio — An Ohio man got his wish last week – to be buried upright on his 1967 motorcycle. Billy Standley can be seen on his bike in a plexiglass casket. He started planning the burial 18 years ago. It took five embalmers, three extra burial plots and wood steel reinforcements to make it happen. Standley also wanted an outdoor funeral so his biker friends could see him off. His children said the motorcycle helped him keep a sense of adventure after he settled down to raise four kids. The Law Abiding Biker/Motorcycle Podcast & Media will be celebrating our one year anniversary on our next episode, so stay tuned! The first Law Abiding Biker Podcast episode was aired on March 16, 2013. We will be releasing a celebratory episode on March 16, 2014! You won't want to miss this one for certain! We have grown and it is due to all our loyal listeners, supporters, & bikeaholics out there. We could not have done it without you. The BRAND NEW "Complete Harley Davidson Ride Planner & GPS Guide" tutorial video is out sooner than anticipated! You must listen to the episode and sign up for the FREE Law Abiding Biker Email Club to get special discount codes and be the first to know about all the FREE videos we put out. We go over several emails we have received: .1) In reference to the FREE video at: www.LawAbidingBiker.com/TwinSlashRounds From Joe: "Am I reading this right? You ALREADY had the cat removed and new headers installed BEFORE you swapped out the mufflers?? Im asking because I'd like to change the sound of my 2013 ultra classic but do not want to put in the headers right now. The Slash rounds sound great on your sg but I'm thinking that's due mainly to the opened headers?? I'd love to get rid of the sewing machine sound on the stock pipes but not at the cost of re-mapping right now." Response: "Joe; Having the cats out will improve sound some. The significant change is getting rid of the stock muffler. Having the cats benefits performance more than sound. I hope that answered your question. I've heard the Twin Slash Rounds on Harleys with cats still in. They sound much better than the stock pipes. They really suffocate the bike with those stock mufflers. Ride Safe!" 2.) Thanks to all the Europe listeners and supporters! From Rick of Europe: "Hey Guy's, I just wanted to Thank You for the great videos... I bought my first Harley(fat bob) a while back and love it..great ride. I'm originally from Western Washington but now live over in Europe..your videos are very popular on this end!!. Just wanted to tell ya Thank you once again and keep up the great work." 3.) In response to 2 FREE videos: The Review blog and video on the Vance and Hines Dresser Twin Slash Duals we did. (headphones required to truly evaluate pipe sounds). http://lawabidingbiker.com/twinslashrounds/ The review blog and video we did on the 2014 Harley Street Glide Special: www.LawAbidingBiker.com/2014StreetGlideSpecial From Michael Allen: "First of all, good job on the Street Glide Special videos. I am picking mine up in June and your videos are awesome. I have a Fat Bob with Vance and Hines Big Radius 2 into 2. I love the sound of them. I am looking for a pipe combination for my new street glide and am looking at the Vance and Hines power duals in Black. I am also looking at the Vance and Hines Blackout Rounds or the Rhinhart 4 inch rounds. Do you have any experience with this combination? I am looking for stereo compatible pipes that do not sacrifice much of the loud pipe design like that of the Big Radius. Would like the Big Shot Duals, but they do not offer it in black for the 2014 touring models. Thanks for your time." Response: "Thanks for the feedback brother! I ran V&H True Duals on my 2011 Harley Street Glide and had no problems hearing my stereo, as the exhaust sound was behind me. Now, the guys riding behind me weren't all that thrilled about my pipes, but heck I heard my stereo fine....LOL. I also ran the V&H Big Radius on my Harley Wide Glide and I absolutely loved their look and sound, but I did not have a stereo. I'm super stoked that you are getting a new SGS!! You are absolutely going to love it bro. My opinion is that you will be fine with the V&H Big Shot Duals or V&H black out Rounds or the Rhinhart 4 inch Rounds. Po

Ep 34LAB-34-What are these motorcycle electronic fuel injection (EFI) mapping gadgets and are they right for me?

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-In this episode we really try and break through the confusion on all these aftermarket motorcycle electronic fuel injection (EFI) boxes and gadgets that are for sale on the market out there. It can be awfully confusing and daunting to most, but it doesn't necessarily have to be. We know that after you listen to this podcast episode you will feel much more comfortable with the subject and hopefully learn a lot. We are learning just like you and trying to take all the confusion out of mapping the fuel injection on your motorcycle with these aftermarket products. We have actually utilized some of these products and are going to try others. We open this episode with a small snippet of a song from Johnny Cash called "The man comes around." This song is awesome and stands the test of time. Make sure to purchase the song if you like it. You will have a good idea after listening to this podcast episode whether or not you want to go down this motorcycle electronic fuel injection (EFI) mapping road. For some it is not necessary and for others it is an exciting journey that has endless possibilities for fine tuning your motorcycle! Do you want more low end or top end power for your motorcycle? Are the prices for these motorcycle EFI tuning gadgets worth it? Should I just get the standard Harley Davidson EFI download into my Electronic Control Module (ECM)? Should I trust all these aftermarket EFI tuners? Are some motorcycle EFI tuners better than others? What is a motorcycle auto tuner? Do all these aftermarket EFI tuners work with each other/cross platform? Can I take my EFI tuner with me when I sell my motorcycle? Do I need a laptop computer to use an EFI tuner? Do I need an smartphone or tablet to use an EFI tuner? We answer these and many other questions you may have about motorcycle electronic fuel injection (EFI) tuners and auto tuners. This topic is endless and we tried to break it down for you. We will likely have to do one or two follow up episodes on this topic, but this will get your started for certain. There are so many motorcycle electronic motorcycle (EFI) tuners out there on the market. To break it down a bit for you we discuss Harley Davidson's Screaming Eagle electronic fuel injection (EFI) race tuner, the Dyno Jet Power Commander V tuner, the Dyno Jet auto tuner kit and the Vance & Hines Fuel Pak 3 (FP3). Law Abiding Biker has already released a video on installing the Dyno Jet Power Commander V, so CLICK HERE to check it out. We will be releasing a video in the future after we test out the Dyno Jet EFI motorcycle auto tuner, so keep checking back. We may also test out the Vance & Hines FuelPak 3 motorcycle fuel injection tuner for you and give you our true opinions. The FuelPak 3 claims to be an all in one solution and pairs with your iPhone, iPad, or Android device for real time tuning and information. The Dyno Jet Power Commander V prices at around $379. If you want to add the additional Dyno Jet Auto Tuner you will spend around another $399. The Vance and Hines Fuel Pak 3 all in one solution prices at around $350, but it may not have all the functionality. Of course there is the Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle EFI tuner, but our opinion is to stay away and we explain why on this podcast episode. Simply put, you just need to listen to get the whole scoop. Anyways, we will continue to test these motorcycle electronic fuel injection (EFI) tuners, boxes, and gadgets. We will follow up with videos, podcasts, and blogs. So you will want to keep checking back. USEFUL LINKS: Law Abiding Biker Power Commander V Install Tutorial Video Vance & Hines FuelPak FP3 Promo Video Power Commander V Overview Power Commander Auto Kit Overview We briefly discuss the ridiculous and completely fictional show "Devil's Ride." Unfortunately, it returned for a second season only to screw up our regular viewing of the Discovery Channel. The Discovery Channel ought to be ashamed to air a show like the Devil's Ride and for trying to pass it off as a "reality show". It is so far from reality it's pitiful. Kurt Sutter, creator of the truly fictional FX Network Television Show Sons of Anarchy, blasts the creator of the Devil's Ride on Twitter recently. Sutter sent out a tweet to his followers. In it, he wondered if "The Devil's Ride" had been canceled or not and questioned the legitimacy of the clubs that take part in the show. That didn't sit well with a member of the Laffing Devils, who are also on Twitter. "Is 'Devil's Ride' still on? my thespians are harder than these bitches. don't take my word, ask any OMC in the fucking world," Sutter writes on Twitter. One of the Devils, who goes by Mad Max responded with, "Fuck you you talk a lot of shit from that key board [sic]," completely ignoring that he was in fact typing his me

Ep 33LAB-33-So you're curious about the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club-LEMC?

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-In this episode we get deep into what you may want to know about joining the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club-LEMC. This episode is very informational and will speak to any Law Abiding Biker. Whether you want to join a Law Abiding Biker (LAB) Club, the Sworn Few LEMC, you are already a member of a LAB club, , another LEO club, a civilian club, a mixed club, or you are curious about what club entrance standards your club might want to have, then you will want to listen for sure! This blog also has much information to offer. Due to requests, we wanted to put this episode out to answer any questions people may have about some of the requirements to be considered to join an established Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club Chapter or to start a new Sworn Few LEMC Chapter. As most of you know by now, Ryan Urlacher the owner/founder and hosts of the Law Abiding Biker (LAB) Podcast, are all full-time Law Enforcement Officers (LEO's) and members of the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club-LEMC. From now on, persons showing interest in joining the Sworn Few LEMC or showing interest will be directed to this podcast episode first. HERE IS SOME INFORMATION YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE SWORN FEW LEMC: Thanks for your interest in the Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club (LEMC). We truly appreciate your interest in our club. There is much to discuss reference a possible chapter in your area or your interest in joining an established chapter and it would need to be done via a personal phone call. There is just too much information and/or questions to answer via email, so send make sure you provide us with your full name and a call back phone number. To contact the Sworn Few LEMC-CLICK HERE. We have processes and protocols in place for handling new chapter and membership requests. We must tell you that it is quite a commitment and process to make it all the way into the Sworn Few LEMC brotherhood & nothing is guaranteed or given. Everything is earned through honesty, brotherhood, hard work, dedication, integrity, and professionalism. The Sworn Few LEMC absolutely doesn't care about club/chapter numbers, but we are certainly open to adding the highest quality of members (true brothers). We have made very firm decisions to move forward cautiously and follow our protocols. Unfortunately, we see too many LEMC's growing way too fast and membership comes extremely easy. There is no pride in something that comes easy or is given away. Also, with that sort of rapid growth comes many problems that we will avoid at all costs in the SFMC. Many LEMC's are popping up all over and they only care about numbers and don't properly screen or evaluate their membership. Actions of some of those LEO club members have put a negative light on us all. The simple fact that one is a LEO certainly does not make them a good LEMC member. Simply put, many just don't want to put in the actual time, work, and commitment that is necessary to establish a Sworn Few LEMC chapter or to become a member, and that's okay with us. The Sworn Few LEMC's standards are set very high for a reason. We have very clear visions about the future of this club and protecting its integrity. Only those that have truly sought and obtained full SFMC membership will ever feel that kind of pride and brotherhood. It simply can't be put into words. Also know that we don't have any, nor will we ever have so-called "Nomads" in the SFMC. There will never be one SFMC member in an area. The SFMC is first and foremost about brotherhood and you can't have that if someone is a "Nomad" and a loner. To get started with a possible chapter you would need 4 minimum and 6 maximum TRUE brothers that you fully trust, respect, and know well to even be considered to start an SFMC "support crew", which is the first step in our process should that happen. Please understand that we are certainly not trying to scare you away whatsoever. We don't recruit for members like some LEMC's and any member you see has come to us on their own seeking membership. After reading this blog and listening to this Law Abiding Biker Podcast Episode you are absolutely convinced we may be the club for you, then send us an email with your full name and phone number. We can then schedule a time for a one on one phone call from a Sworn Few Law Enforcement Club Mother Chapter Officer. ______________________________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE: Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548 Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/scrappy587 Google Plus Page: https://plus.google.com/+Lawabidingbiker587 Instagram: http://instagram.com/lawabidingbiker RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed iTunes Direct Link to Podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/us/p

Ep 32LAB-32-These are nothing but "Happy Days"!

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-In this episode of the Law Abiding Biker/Motorcycle Podcast we talk about an array of topics. Did Fonzie from the TV show Happy Days really ride a motorcycle? Does he ride a motorcycle now? Henry Winkler was the actor that played Fonzie on Happy Days and a character that we all came to know and love. He played the tough "biker" type. Here is a direct link to an article reference Fonzie along with a YouTube link: We opened the show with a little snippet of an awesome song called "Remember the Name". You can get it on iTunes and elsewhere. Song: Remember the name (2005) Artist: Fort Minor (feat. Styles of Beyond) Album: The Rising Tied (Deluxe Version) LINK: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Minor I found a great video on Facebook. It is an awesome way for bikers/motorcyclists to fold their chaps, so that they take less room in your saddle bags. Additionally, she shows how to roll them and fold them in a way that they then snap together, keeping them rolled tightly. You really must see this video. I shared the video on the Law Abiding Biker Facebook Page and put it below for your viewing. We also play a voicemail from a long time supporter of the Law Abiding Biker/Motorcycle Podcast, Greg Gaxiola. Thanks Greg for your continued support! We go over some ongoing comments on the Law Abiding Biker Media website in reference to my 2014 Street Glide Special review and video. The community is really helping each other out and there is much good information, so check it out! My 2014 Street Glide Special does have adjustable rear shocks. Their is a knob/dial behind the left saddlebag that you can turn to make the suspension softer or firmer. I have not played with this yet, but will in the future and report back. The regular Street Glide has adjustable rear air shocks that you need a bicycle stye pump for. I believe the valve stem to adjust the air shocks is also between the left saddle bag and rear fender. That's where it was on my 2011 Street Glide anyways. Last, we review an IOS App called GroupMe. The motorcycle club I am in, Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, has utilized the GroupMe App since our inception and find it to be a very useful tool for us to conduct all kinds of club business. GroupMe is a free private chatting app. You can set up as many different groups as you want and assign a photo to each. Each person can also assign themselves a photo. Additionally, you can single a person out of a group and then just talk with them one on one. The GrouMe app has worked flawlessly for our motorcycle club and it is always updated. They have even added some cool new features. You'll have to listen to this podcast episode to get the whole scoop and review. Ep 30LAB-30-Motorcycle Paintless Dent Removal | Everything you need to know

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-In this episode we cover everything you need to know about motorcycle paintless dent removal (MPDR). I had the pleasure of interviewing Daniel Gromm of Dent Dynamics Paintless Dent Removal out of Santa Rosa, California. His direct website is www.dentdynamics.net, so make sure and check it out. The website has a great photo gallery and videos of what type of quality work he does. Also check out Daniel's other website at www.motorcyclepaintlessdentrepair.com. Daniel Gromm does paintless dent removal for both motorcycles and cars and has been doing so since 1993, so it is fair to say he knows exactly what he is doing. Daniel is a paintless dent removal (PDR) expert and also an inventor and mechanical designer. Daniel has designed his own exclusive line of PDR Tools called the "Daniel Gromm Signature Series". Daniel has come to understand what is needed to access the trickiest and least accessible dents from a motorcycle gas tank and has developed a complete set of tools that feature removable tips that adapt to each dent along with adjustable handles that make the PDR job easier. Utilizing the latest technology and tools, the skilled metal "artisans" at Dent Dynamics in Santa Rosa, CA can quickly remove many dents without repainting, all at a fraction of the cost of traditional body repair. PDR is becoming more widely used, largely because the size of dent that can be repaired has increased over the last few years. Daniel Gromm explains, "We have developed specific techniques and equipment to repair a dent the size of a football , and just a few years ago we were only repairing dents the size of a baseball." The widespread use of resilient metal and base/clear coat paint finishes has allowed PDR to become a viable alternative to traditional body repair techniques. So much so, that some insurance companies will even waive the deductible if PDR is chosen over more traditional techniques. As I have stated in the past, Harley Davidson and other motorcycle manufacturers do not do body work if you dent a tin, such as a gas tank or fender. They won't even release the paint codes that are necessary for matching. Nope, you must purchase the whole new tin from the factory and then do whatever you want with the damaged one. Oh, did I mention you also have to pay your insurance deductible, because tins are not cheap? PDR is truly a great alternative and can save you some serious money. Do you have a custom paint job on your motorcycle? Well, good luck matching everything up, not to mention the body filler that will be used to fix the dent. Not so with paintless dent removal. You can send your tin to Daniel Gromm at Dent Dynamics and he will have it back to you in a short time, completely fixed without body fillers and without having to paint it. He can also do other work for you if you are going to end up painting something, but can make many repairs without body filler. Here are the five easy steps if you get a dent or ding in your motorcycle gas tank or fender: (This can all be found on the Dent Dynamics website of course) Fill out a dent inquiry form and submit for an estimate (form is on website) Email very detailed photos at different angles and provide a phone number They will approve the job based on the photos that they receive and a possible phone conversation will follow Mail your tank or fender to them (He says he has had good luck with UPS)....Make sure you air out your gas tank fumes a bit before shipping) They will repair the tank or fender and send it back to you fully insured, in the original package it was shipped in. And you know your dealing with a professional when this is stated on the Dent Dynamics website "If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the results of your repair, we will not charge you for our services." After 2 years of development, Daniel has created a specialized motorcycle tank vice to better serve his motorcycle PDR customers and their needs. Understanding the dynamics of the proper leverage and pressure applications necessary for the thicker metals of most motorcycle gas tanks and fenders, Daniel set out to invent the world's first Motorcycle PDR Tank Vice to handle the growing needs of the motorcycling community. "Today," says Daniel, "Dent Dynamics receives gas tanks in need of dent repair from all over the United States. It's incredibly satisfying to be able to fix something that, prior to my MPDR Tank Vice invention, was un-fixable." So, what are you waiting for? Fill out an inquiry form on the Dent Dynamics website, send him an email, and get your fender or gas tank fixed now. Here are some import ant links for Dent Dynamics that we mentioned in the podcast: WEBSITE: http://www.dentdynamics.net OTHER WEBSITE: http://motorcyclepaintlessdentrepair.com FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/DentDynamicsPDR EMAIL: [email protected] YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/user/dentdynamicspdr YOUTUBE 2: http:

Ep 29LAB-29-Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Tattoos & Society | Taboo? Why Get a Tattoo?

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-In this episode we cover a very controversial topic that everyone seems to have an opinion on. That is the law abiding biker culture and how prevalent tattoos are now. Although tattoos have become more mainstream, there is still much discrimination amongst persons with tattoos by employers and society. What is it that draws law abiding bikers to get tattoos? Is it part of a deeper meaning of freedom and a way to separate yourself from standard society and to be free? Why are persons with tattoos still discriminated against? Does it matter what part of your body you put tattoos on? Different generations have strong beliefs and opinions in reference to tattoos. It's time people get over it and start accepting that many great people have tattoos and are productive hard working law abiding bikers and citizens. We cover all this and much more in this episode! The Law Abiding Biker Podcast has a hotline number, which is 509-731-3548. You can call from any phone and leave us a voice message with any comments or questions, which may be played on an upcoming podcast episode! We love to hear from the Law Abiding Biker Community! We want to know your thoughts and opinions. You can also leave us an email or web based voicemail using the microphone on you computer at www.LawAbidingBiker.com/VoiceMail. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to contact us! We thank Mitch Rowland, Javier Martinez, and a gentleman named Bob from Cobourg Canada for leaving comments and questions directly on the Law Abiding Biker (LAB) website. This is what the Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Community is all about! Helping and communicating with each other like brothers and sisters. We are the motorcycling majority (MM) and the 99%ers after all. We discuss their questions and comments they left on the LAB website. We all need to help each other and share our knowledge with each other! That is truly awesome! Mitch Rowland commented: "I Just found your site, what I have seen has been great. I have a 2014 street glide special on order I will be getting in touch fir a bit of advise I am sure any thoughts on the hidden antenna and rear crash bars for this bike. I am not very computer savy so do I get up dates from Harley or do I need to go to you. Thx Mitch" My response to Mitch Rowland: "Thanks so munch for the contact. You might get updates from Harley if you are subscribed to their newsletters. I'm sure you can do it on their website. COME HERE for all your Law Abiding Biker Media and other needs!! Go here for a hidden hardly davidson antenna-> http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/boom!-audio-hidden-am-fm-wb-antenna. As for the rear crash bars go here -> https://www.harley-davidson.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=60580&storeId=10152&catalogId=10051&langId=-1. Hope this helps you. Don't forget to check out our podcast, free videos, and for purchase videos!! Ride safe brother!!" Javier Martinez Commented: "All your procedures are very helpful, but NOTE for the softail owners: The drain plugs are in different locations. The transmission drain plug is between the two shocks under the center of the bike. The oil drain plug is where the transmission drain plug is shown on this video and the primary fluid drain plug is pretty much in the same area as the bike for this video. This is for 2013 softails and some years before. Double check. You don't want to pull the wrong plug!" My response to Javier Martinez: "Thanks for the contact Javier and thanks for sharing your particular model and where things are located. I know the rest of the Law Abiding Biker Community appreciates it. Of course, the different years and models will have variations, so if everyone shares it would be awesome!" Bob from Cobourg Canada commented: "On a 2000 Harley 1200, how much oil do you put in rear shocks and what type ?? Thanks Bob" My response to Bob: "Thanks so much for the contact Bob!! I would definitely have to call the Harley Dealer on that one. Just call any Harley Davidson Dealer and ask them. They will tell you right over the phone. I have had to do that on some older bikes. God Bless and Ride Safe!!" The Sworn Few Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club (LEMC) has a prospective chapter (Big River Crew) two hours north of the Mother Chapter, which is based out of Yakima, WA. As one of their many obligations and required projects to possibly obtaining full Sworn Few LEMC chapter status, they had to make a bad ass riding video. You can check out their new video at. CHECK OUT THEIR NEW VIDEO! I have a very good relationship with my local Harley Davidson Dealership, to include the awesome mechanics there! The new 2014 Harley Davidson Boom Box Infotainment System is foreign to them and also to the salesman. I quickly became known as an expert with the operation of the Boom Box Infotainment system (I am the Hi-Tech Redneck after all-LOL). Harley Davidson is making their personnel watch compan

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-In this episode I interview special guest Bryan H. Ep 26LAB-26-Amsoil Synthetic Vs. Harley Davidson Synthetic Oil | The Scoop

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST- In this episode we thank several loyal listeners for their recent donations. Loyal listener Matt Pass of California made a second donation! WOW, we are truly humbled by the donations and we want to keep pumping content out for everyone! We also read several emails from our loyal listeners. One of our loyal listeners, John O Keefe, from Ireland busts our balls for our lousy Irish accent attempts on the podcast and says we sound Asian-LOL. We love it John! That is the Law Abiding Biker/Motorcycle Community we are trying to build. One where we can join together, have fun, joke together, and laugh together! We all need to get away from or jobs and have a familiar place to go to. For most of us that is riding our motorcycles and we really hope it also includes enjoying and learning from content that Law Abiding Biker Podcast & Media is pumping out! Our Facebook Page is growing in "likes" and our Twitter profile is also growing. Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast Episode downloads are also increasing along with website traffic! WE ARE SO VERY HUMBLED AT ALL THE SUPPORT WE HAVE RECEIVED FROM THE LAW ABIDING BIKER/MOTORCYCLE COMMUNITY! And so the Law Abiding Biker Community is growing and we are excited about the future! We have no real words to thank everyone. Charlie Caruana from Australia lets us know via email that in iTunes, the Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast episode library was only displaying back to episode #17. Thanks to him, we were made aware of the problem and I have fixed it! Now you can go all the way back to episode #01 in iTunes (my humble beginnings as a podcaster-wheeew). There are more ratings on iTunes and Stitcher Radio coming in for the Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast and we are so appreciative. Keep it up! We are also now listed in the iPhone and Android app called TuneIn Radio. We are also listed in the Android "Podkicker" app. At the very beginning of this Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast episode and for fun, we play a very short snippet of a song called "Handlebars" from the band called the Flobots from their 2007 album "Fight With Tools". I encourage you to buy this song or the entire album, as I really like their music and style. Law Abiding Biker Tiger Sherman sent us and email reminding the Law Abiding Biker/Motorcycle Community and us that you don't have to buy the Harley Davidson brand Screaming Eagle synthetic oil to service your motorcycle, which costs $12.95 per quart plus tax at a dealership. You can simply purchase Mobil 1 V-Twin 20w-50 full synthetic 4 cycle motorcycle oil, which is just the same. I did a very quick Google search and found Mobil 1 V-Twin 20w-50 full synthetic 4 cycle motorcycle oil on Amazon for $62.78 for a case of 6 quarts. I'm certain if you spent more time than I, you can find it even cheaper. That equals to $10.46 per quart, which is cheaper than the Harley Screaming Eagle synthetic oil. However, depending on shipping costs, you may be around the same price. Your best bet is to go to your local motorcycle/biker shop and they likely carry other synthetic motorcycle oil alternatives, such as Mobil 1 V-Twin 20w-50 full synthetic 4 cycle motorcycle oil . Of course Harley dealerships only sell their Screaming Eagle synthetic oil, which they simply put their label on. It is a well known fact that Harley Davidson does not manufacture their own oil and purchase oil from the lowest bidder. Harley Davidson then simply places their brand name label on it. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, but a majority of other things they sell, including oil, are way overpriced. You can get comparable items and pay much less if you do your research. I'm certain the oil is decent, as I have never had any problems when running it in my Harley. However, it is extremely overpriced, as Haley certainly wants to make money on it. A chrome oil filter costs $14.95 from a Harley dealership. So out of the Harley dealership door with product to service my Harley myself costs $$114.95. If you then have a Harley dealership service your bike you can add another $200 plus out the door. So, a full service and simple oil change and safety inspection will cost you $300 plus from a Harley Davidson Dealership and it takes them less than an hour! SERVICE YOUR HARLEY YOURSELF, AS IT IS EASY AND YOU WILL SAVE A TON OF MONEY. I CAN SHOW YOU HOW WITH MINIMAL TOOLS IN A STEP-BY-STEP LAW ABIDING BIKER TUTORIAL VIDEO! SAVE MONEY NOW AND LEARN MORE ABOUT THIS STEP-BY-STEP LAW ABIDING BIKER TUTORIAL VIDEO! BE ASSURED, THERE ARE NO STEPS SKIPPED AND VERY MINIMAL EVERY DAY TOOLS ARE ALL THAT ARE NEEDED. SERIOUSLY! Ep 25LAB-25-Isolated Ignorance by Law Enforcement Officers & 3 Piece Patches | Law Abiding Biker Clubs

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-In this episode of the Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast, we follow-up on a previous LAB Podcast episode in reference to Mandatory ByLaws for Motorcycle Biker Club Members to Carry Firearms, which we covered in episode 21 of the Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast. We received new voicemails after that episode with new insight into this topic and we wanted to follow-up. This is a very complicated and a serous issue amongst all law abiding biker motorcycle clubs. We think it deserves much attention and discussion. Please leave your comments at the bottom of this blog/podcast description. We also give a "tech tip" to our listeners about how to make certain you get "all' the updates from a Facebook page that you decide to "like". You will learn that just because you "like" a page, such as Law Abiding Biker, does not mean that you are getting all the updates in your "news feed" in Facebook. We give you detailed instructions on how to go about setting a Facebook "page", so that you get every update in your Facebook "news feed". That way you won't miss out on your most important content you may be following. This setting can only be accomplished from a desktop or laptop computer and not from a mobile device. After that, it will follow suit with your mobile device and you will not miss any content from your "liked" FaceBook pages, such as Law Abiding Biker. We also discuss a tutorial video on how to do a routine maintenance oil change and safety check on your Harley Davidson. This video can save you literally thousands of dollars, by not taking your Harley Davidson to the dealership for a simple service that they charge $300 plus for. You don't need any fancy tools or a lift. You can do this service right on the kick stand! (HURRY, FIRST BUYERS USE PROMO CODE "WRENCH" AND GET $4 OFF PURCHASE! LIMITED NUMBER OF COUPONS AVAILABLE.) We give thanks to our listeners that have donated to our cause. We also read an email received from the Punishers MC and learn a little bit of what there about. We have responded to their email requesting a Skype interview to learn more about their club and what they are all about. We did learn that their website currently has cautions on it about the safety of entering it. We are not certain what may have happened at this point? Ep 24LAB-24-How Far to Live Away From a Motorcycle Club Chapter | What is Acceptable?

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-In this episode of the Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast we discuss in length the ongoing question of how far you should live away from a law abiding biker motorcycle club chapter that you might want to join or be involved with. The question arises often with the club we are involved with, the Sworn Few MC. The Sworn Few MC has to respond to many emails reference this question, so we thought we would put it out on a podcast. Should you try and join the closest chapter, or ask permission to start a new chapter or support crew? What are the best protocols and practices? What is acceptable? Of course opinions vary on this from club to cub, but there are some fine points to consider in the matter. Second, we discuss several emails we have received along with comments posted directly on the Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Website. These questions are all in reference to Harley Davidson exhaust, air intakes, mufflers, remapping your fuel injection, or buying an aftermarket product to map your fuel injection. We answer all your questions and have many videos and blogs that cover this (links at the bottom of this post). We tell you exactly what is in our opinion the exact route you should go reference these issues and costs involved. We have direct access to certified Harley Davidson mechanics and talk with them often about these issues. Last, we discuss the new 2014 Harley Davidson liquid cool models and the future of such. The first liquid-cooled engine outfitted on a Harley touring bike is called the Twin Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 V-Twin. Twin cooling cools the heads around the exhaust ports to deliver at or near peak performance under all operation conditions and temperatures. This is achieved via a small 1.1 quart liquid-cooling system that routes through the downtubes to discreet radiators housed in the lower fairing louvers. The system will make less engine heat in stop-and-go traffic. The first two Harley motorcycles with the Twin Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103 engine are the 2014 Ultra Limited Motorcycle and the 2014 Tri Glide Ultra Motorcycle. There's also a 110 cubic inch version of the Twin Cooled engine available in the 2014 CVO Limited. #LawAbidingBiker #BikerPodcast #MotorcyclePodcast Links we talked about: www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Exhaust www.LawAbidingBiker.com/StageOneIntake www.LawAbidingBiker.com/PowerCommander5 www.LawAbidingBiker.com/BoomBox www.LawAbidingBiker.com/TwinSlashRounds www.lawabidingbiker.com/2014streetglidespecial _______________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE: Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548 Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed iTunes Direct Link to Podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast/id622424087 Stitcher Radio: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast TuneIn Radio: http://tunein.com/radio/Law-Abiding-Biker-p562288/

Ep 22LAB-22-Those Who Have Been Down & Those Who Are Going Down

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-On this episode we talk about many things, but start out by discussing the new Orange County Choppers (OCC) series that is coming to Country Music Television (CMT) on Saturday November 16, 2013 9/8c. This is a show that is strictly about OCC and Paul Jr., of Paul Jr. Designs, will not be part of the series. Paul Sr. brings in a new "Creative Director" named Evan Favaro, who owns his own shop called "Speakeasy Motors". Second, we talk about the new independent film "Why we Ride". This is a movie about all motorcycles such as street cruisers, sports bikes, and dirt bikes. The trailer is awesome and I can't wait to watch this film. Here are some frequently asked questions about the film that are listed on the film's website: Q: When is this documentary coming out? A: We are in talks with theaters for a limited release starting in November. Q: When is the DVD being released A: The DVD will be available later this year, along with Blu-ray, digital streaming and download. Q: Who is financing or sponsoring this film? A: The film is independently financed and no sponsorships were allowed by any group or company in the motorcycle industry during its production. This was to ensure the creative integrity of the documentary and that there would be no favoritism giving to any one group. Last, we discuss "those who have been down & those who are going down". Of course we are referring to anyone who rides a motorcycles for long distances and over a long period of years. Or, it could happen your first day. It is just a simple truth and we all know it. As bikers/motorcyclists, we do our best to be defensive, but there are so many hazards out there; cars, animals, moisture, weather, gravel etc. Many of the members in our club, the Sworn Few MC, have been down before, so we know the truths. The club rides long distances and across country and we become very comfortable on our motorcycles. If you ever get to do any real hardcore motorcycle training (real police type) you will go down on the course and that is a fact. But, by doing so, you improve your skills and know what to do. #LawAbidingBiker #BikerPodcast #MotorcyclePodcast _______________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE: Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548 Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed iTunes Direct Link to Podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast/id622424087 Stitcher Radio: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast TuneIn Radio: http://tunein.com/radio/Law-Abiding-Biker-p562288/

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-In this episode of the Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Podcast we play a voicemail we have been saving from a very loyal listener. It is in reference to a California based law abiding biker motorcycle club that is writing within their ByLaws that club members must carry concealed firearms/guns when on club rides or conducting motorcycle biker club business. We discuss the issues involved with this and give our opinions on whether or not this is a good idea for Law Abiding Biker Motorcycle Clubs. We really break it down and even have different opinions between the LAB Podcast crew about things. You have to hear this in depth discussion. Second, I'm convinced we have the ABSOLUTE best and most quality listeners and followers here at the Law Abiding Biker (LAB) Motorcycle Podcast! I posted some pictures on our Law Abiding Biker FaceBook Page from loyal listener and supporter Matt Pass of California. His 8 year old daughter heard us say her dad's name on the "radio" as she so preciously put it. She wanted to then make a Law Abiding Biker for her 3rd grade school halloween contest. She wanted to make sure and send the pictures to, "the guys who said your [dad] name on the radio". Her name is Erica and we appreciate the photos so much. Ep 19LAB-19-Unorganized Motorcycle Guys (UMG's) VS. SUV Driver Assault Incident in NYC

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-This is a special LAB Podcast Episode to cover the every changing information reference the unorganized motorcycle guys (UMG's) attack on the driver of a SUV after he ran over one of the UMG's in New York City in late September 2013. We weigh in on this incident with our opinions and experience. We try to dig deep into the incident while looking at all sides. This is the most fair and balanced podcast on this incident that you will find. This was a large group of unorganized motorcycle guys (UMG's) and one of them pulled in front of the SUV and suddenly slowed. The SUV driver, who had his wife and child with him, then lightly struck the rear of the UMG that pulled in front of him. The whole freeway shut down and the massive group of UMG's stopped in front of the SUV driver and his family. Preliminary information shows that the SUV driver feared for his safety from the UMG's and had no escape route. The SUV driver sped forward, running over one of the UMG's, and continued away on the freeway. That UMG is now paralyzed. The UMG's then chased down the SUV driver and his family, whom finally got caught up in traffic and had to stop. The UMG's then aggressively smashed out his window, pulled him out of the SUV, and beat him. Information is that an off duty under cover Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) was also involved in the incident. The driver of the SUV has been criminally charged with nothing, but several of the UMG's have been criminally charged. The story is still unfolding and we here at LAB will continue to cover it. To keep up to date on the ever changing details of this incident, make sure to listen to all the latest episodes of the Law Abiding Biker (LAB) Podcast. Also, as new links, information, and videos become available, I will add them to my original blog at www.LawAbidingBiker.com/BikerGangNYC, where you can get educated and stay up to date on the incident. #LawAbidingBiker #MotorcyclePodcast #BikerPodcast #UMG __________________________________________________________ CHECK US OUT AND SUBSCRIBE: Website: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com Email & Voicemail: http://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/Contact Phone Hotline: 509-731-3548 Twitter: https://twitter.com/LawAbidingBiker Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lawabidingbiker RSS: feed://www.LawAbidingBiker.com/feed iTunes Direct Link to Podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast/id622424087 Stitcher Radio: http://www.stitcher.com/podcast/law-abiding-biker-podcast TuneIn Radio: http://tunein.com/radio/Law-Abiding-Biker-p562288/

Ep 18LAB-18-Keeping your "cool" at all times

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-We start out thanking several bikaholics and Law Abiding Biker community members for their donations and answer an email about the purchase of a Harley. #LawAbidingBiker #MotorcyclePodcast #BikerPodcast I recently got a flat rear tire on my 2011 Harley Street Glide while on an August 6, 2013 ride we were on with our "Big River" Sworn Few LEMC Prospective Chapter. I was running the standard Dunlop tires that Harley put on the bike. There is no Harley dealership in the Wenatchee, WA area where we were riding, so we found a local shop that treated us very well. The Big River crew hooked me up with this shop and trailered my bike there for me. True brotherhood…………The name of the shop in Wenatchee, WA is Bikerstown USA and we would like to thank them. They were not selling the Dunlop tires, so I switched to the Michelin Commander II tires. I had heard good things about these tires. I had them change both my rear and front tires. My front tire had some weather cracks and we discuss that. I have been very pleased with the performance of the Michelin Commander II tires and put them through the test on our 2,200 mile trip we recently took. We tell some funny stories and give a thorough review of the Techniche "Hyperkewl" motorcycle cooling vest. Several Sworn Few LEMC members purchased these vests and have been testing them. Essentially, you soak the vest with water and put it over your T-shirt. We go into detail about how these vests keep you cool while riding in extremely warm temperatures, thus "keeping your cool at all times". We give you our opinion on these vests and an overall rating. You can support us and get your own HyperKewl vest through the Motorcycle Superstore by using this banner! Don't forget you can further support us by purchasing any or all of the below tutorial videos "HERE". 1.) How to remove your stock Harley headers & mufflers & replace them with aftermarket headers & mufflers. 2.) Ep 15LAB-15-How to handle questions from other clubs & employers

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE PODCAST-#LawAbidingBiker-In this episode we discuss how to handle possible inquiries from other non law abiding motorcycle clubs. We discuss this based on an awesome voicemail we received with a very detailed 2 pronged question. The voicemail was left by Don "Killswitch" of the Tempest Riders RC, who has been a supporter of LAB Media since our inception. The second prong of the question has to do with your employer & the ridiculous myths & opinions out there about law abiding biker clubs, specifically law enforcement motorcycle clubs (LEMC). We discuss the importance of putting your club out there & how a very professional & informative website will benefit you in many ways. We conduct a follow-up on how absolutely ridiculous the new Discovery Channel show, "Warlocks Rising" actually was. Thank God it's over……. We really want to interview other LAB clubs & learn about you. If you want to see how easy it is then listen to episode 08 of the LAB Podcast atwww.lawabidingbiker.com/08 where we interview a LAB club. Ep 13LAB-13-Prospect Down

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE Podcast-#LawAbidingBiker-In this episode we discuss the new Discovery Channel biker show "Warlocks Rising" & really don't have much good to say about it. We review the book "No Angel", which was written by ATF Agent Jay Dobyns, who infiltrated the Hells Angels Organized Motorcycle Gang (OMG). Further we discuss a recent MC BBQ & the 4th of July when a Prospect over did it and "went down". We have had many requests to do a series on how we started the Sworn Few MC from the ground up. Our challenge to our listeners is that we need 8 voicemails left at (www.lawabidingbiker.com/contact) with questions in regards to starting a new MC. Once we reach that goal we will organize, record, and put a series of podcasts out. We want to do this right & detailed for our dedicated followers and listeners. We won't even think about starting the series until we have at least the 8 voicemails. So get involved if you want this series to happen!!!! Ep 12LAB-12-First things not to ask a quality LEMC club

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE Podcast-We talk about some things not to ask a quality LEMC that you may become interested in; we mean a club that does not "sale their colors". LEO's w/o some LEMC experience tend to ask common questions and things that should likely not be of concern until later in the process; we just give some simple advice. Further, we do an in depth follow up review of the product "Bugslide" sold by Dakota-Shield, LD's kegerator, and an interesting bar and good burger joint in Chelan, WA. Of course we get off track a lot as usual, but have a blast and many laughs along the way! Law Dog "LD" and Cuz were my co-hosts. Ep 10LAB-10-Yearly Club Rides

CLICK HERE FOR THE OFFICIAL LAW ABIDING BIKER WEBISTE Podcast-We reminisce about the very cool 100 years of motorcycle event that used to occur back in the day before we were a club.
