Klein/Ally Show: The Podcast

Is it a fake name or a real old person? Either way, Cretora Biggerstaff is our new favorite thing. Klein is on borrowed time after eating ground beef purchased on Jan 9. We also tested our creative skills against AI in a new round of Man Vs Machine, which led to creating a new holiday: Dick Day!

In honor of Alex Honnold solo climbing the Taipei 101 on Netflix live, we had our 4'9" producer Vanessa solo climb Johnny's standing desk. Was she successful, or did she fall to her death? Watch the livestream HERE for a visual aid. We also got a juicy relationship update from Klein, Ally learns a former middle school friend is now a billionaire. We also brought back the game Tik Tok Toe where we learned how to be an overnight millionaire and how to make a man 'instantly obsessed with you.' And in the divorciest month of the year we vented about spouses in Don't Be A Dick!

It's Ally's birthday, so naturally the show was filled with accents, drinking, false compliments & a special guest! The show kicked off with special birthday shout outs from A-list celebrities that are definitely real and totally not AI. Klein clearly forgot Ally's birthday but refused to admit it. But let's face it, he's distracted from all the interviews he did about his stolen car! After getting written up by KNX, NY Post and the CA Post, word on the street is KTLA wants an in depth look at the story too. He also learned there WAS extensive damage to the car and as usual this will cost him thousands to fix... We finished out "Bomb week" with Johnny drinking his first Sake Bomb, and Ally's quickly showed him how it's done with a proper chug. Jake interviewed 'Rams fans' who were born & raised in LA, only to learn pretty much all of them had never heard of the team. Water Sommelier Martin Reise joined us in-studio to school us on H20 & taste some of the rarest and most unique water the world has to offer. We also had him try Ally's moon water, among other things, and he was able to debunk some of the world's biggest 'water myths' (spoiler: 8 glasses a day is BS!).

Jake's deep dive into the world of crochet brought us one of our favorite new sound bites of the year. Will Jake successfully make an Octopus by the end of the week? Also, an update on Klein's stolen car takes away any sympathy you once had (plus he finally tried the 'egg trick' and yes, he's cursed). We also have two potential new challenges to explore: One-Arm Gary asked for a pool rematch against Ally which quickly morphed into a doubles ping pong battle between Ally, Klein, One-Arm Gary & One-Leg Larry. And yes, One-Leg Larry is Gary's long lost relative who we have yet to meet. The other challenge comes from Klein, who claims he can identify any hot dog brand in a blind taste test. Think he can do it? All we know is the next few weeks just got a lot more interesting...

So much for the Palo Santo. The show got off to an exciting start when Klein got an emergency call from his wife that their car had been stolen. Again. If you think this is a rerun, it's not. This is the same care that was stolen less than a year ago and was never recovered. Thankfully listeners were able to get a handle on the situation and save the day, and we need to buy a lot more Palo Santo. Listeners also controlled our outfits for the day. Based on our show Suggestion Box, we did a full clothing swap which resulted in Ally's pants falling off and Jake's giant breasts making a triumphant comeback. What a way to start a week! Klein got to work only to discover he's been terminated: no email access, no paycheck, and a lot of paperwork about COBRA. How did this happen? Is it real? In other news, Ally's mom called in to share the unique 'gift' she got for her husband's birthday, which is sure to leave all men wanting more and all Ally's wanting less. We shared a new round of nominees for Lifetime Achievement Award (spare roll of toilet paper is the current frontrunner), learned Johnny knows nothing about the human body (new dictionary term: tafibula), and Ally attempts to pass a first grade Spanish quiz.
