Is Diddy lying or are these accusers? * Steel also asked if all of this was a “MeToo money grab.”* Steel was able to introduce the “Happy Birthday Video” that Mia sent Diddy. * Steel used Mia’s social media post, which showed her at gatherings with friends and seemingly living a normal life while all of these reported abuses were going on and she was being “traumatized” by Combs. When devices were seized as part of the investigation into Combs, there was a contact in a phone belonging to Kristina Khorram saved under the name “Eddy My Angel.”* Garcia testified that he met Combs and other members of his entourage in an LA building where he provided a copy of the video on a USB drive and was handed $100k cash as payment. * Garcia and Medrano felt Israel Flores, the guard who responded to the incident and previously testified, would not be agreeable to this exchange, so they misrepresented to Combs that the responding guard’s name was Henry Elias. * Combs also had Cassie FaceTime them during this meeting.* Garcia had to sign an NDA regarding this matter and prosecutors entered a copy of it into evidence, along with a copy of the hotel video, emails between Garcia, other exhibits as well. * $50k went to Medrano, $30k to Garcia, $20k to Elias.* Derek Ferguson— worked for Combs as CFO 1998-2017 * Notable Moments:* Described the business structure of Combs Enterprises* Described how Combs would withdraw and transfer money, obtain cash, hotel bookings, travel, etc.* Verified a financial document showing a $20k transfer to Cassie and later a $20k payment from Cassie Ventura’s father, confirming previous testimony that her family had to take out a $20k loan to pay Combs back. Diddy On Trial

Welcome back to the unfolding saga of United States v. Combs. Evidence includes the 2016 Ventura assault video and 1,000+ bottles of baby oil seized in 2024 raids.* The defense argues all acts were consensual, framing the case as domestic disputes within a “swinger” lifestyle, not trafficking.Breakdowns and timestamps for each day:Monday 00:00-44:20The week started with Judge Arun Subramanian, Judge Sub as I call him, issuing this order which reins in the 4am exhibit dumps, last-minute challenges, and other behaviors that delay court proceedings as well as inconvenience everyone involved. Judge Sub warned both parties that:“Failure to adhere to these procedures, absent a showing of good cause, will lead to the preclusion of untimely disclosed witnesses and evidence, or the waiver of untimely raised objections.” The judge also made a ruling on the scope of testimony from Dawn Richard, a former Bad Boy artist. Prosecutors wanted her to corroborate Casandra “Cassie” Ventura’s allegations of abuse, but the defense pushed back, arguing her statements veered into hearsay. Subramanian allowed limited testimony, aiming to keep things focused on what witnesses saw, not gossip.* Witness Testimony:* R&B Singer Dawn Richard (Concluded)* Notable Moments:* She described some of the same instances of abuse that Cassie had previously testified to, such as the 2009 incident with the skillet. * “He would punch her, choke her, drag her, and slap her in the mouth."* Testified that she witnessed drug transactions from One Stop* She also said Combs told her and another woman that they “could go missing” if they didn’t stay quiet about what they witnessed.* Kerry Morgan, a long time friend of Cassie’s (17yrs)* Notable Moments:* Witnessed abuse of Cassie by Combs. * In 2018, Combs attacked Morgan, hitting and choking her. * Morgan confronted Cassie about the incident and wanted her to leave Combs, but Cassie minimized. In this episode, I read a brief excerpt from one of my favorite books, The Almanack of Naval Ravikant, exploring what it means to be a clear thinker, the essence of contrarianism, and how preconceived notions and emotions can distort our perception of reality.Next, I discuss my article, "Epstein Killed Himself," which focuses less on the suicide itself and more on the cognitive warfare and groupthink surrounding the topic. My goal isn’t to persuade listeners to agree with the article or the Deputy Director of the FBI—though I believe the available evidence strongly challenges the popular narrative—but to highlight it as a case study in the psychology of information warfare. It demonstrates how a meme can persist even when evidence contradicts it.Finally, I share insights from an article titled "Derangement Discourse," which examines the psychology of today’s polarized politics and the challenges of engaging in meaningful dialogue with those who view disagreement as derangement. Revolutionary movements, even soft ones, often feature inner tensions, and MAGA is no exception: there’s the justified fight against corruption in American institutions versus the risk of overreach; there are chaos agents and infiltrators pushing too far, causing the movement to consume itself; and there are unworthy heroes and sycophants whose loud support for the movement’s successes masks their own derangement. As you listen or watch, remember that understanding is more valuable than reacting. My goal is to help us become better informed and clearer thinkers, not triggered reactors. This applies to me as much as anyone, and I’ll continue working to communicate these ideas more effectively.Just Human is a reader-supported publication. Diddy On Trial

Week One Recap of United States v. Sean Combs (Case No. 1:24-cr-00542, S.D.N.Y.), covering the indictment, final moments of jury selection, and a day-by-day summary of court proceedings for the first week of the trial (May 12–May 16, 2025).Press Release, Superseding Indictment, Docket, Inner City Press, Rumble PlaylistI’ll continue to add recaps of individual days of the trial to the Rumble playlist and weekly recaps to Substack. For anyone not interested in this trial, no worries, I have other material prepped for the next episode of the Just Human podcast. I am aiming to publish that early next week.Breakdowns and timestamps for each day:Indictment Reading 00:00-00:36Charges and Allegations:* Combs faces five counts: racketeering conspiracy (life max), two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion (life max, 15-year min each), and two counts of transportation for prostitution (10-year max each).* The prosecution alleges Combs ran a criminal enterprise, orchestrating “freak offs” (coerced sexual performances), abusing women (e.g., Ventura), and using blackmail, drugs, and violence. Evidence includes the 2016 Ventura assault video and 1,000+ bottles of baby oil seized in 2024 raids.* The defense argues all acts were consensual, framing the case as domestic disputes within a “swinger” lifestyle, not trafficking.Jury Seated 00:37-00:45Jury Swearing-In :* The final 12 jurors (six women, five men, and one unspecified; ages mid-20s to early 70s) plus six alternates. Jurors include a graphic designer, UN counterterrorism administrator, and grocery store clerk.Monday 00:45-01:50Opening Statements:* Prosecution (AUSA Emily Johnson):* Alleged Combs operated a criminal enterprise for 20 years (2004–2024), committing sex trafficking, kidnapping, arson, and other crimes via his business empire (Bad Boy Entertainment).* Described “freak offs” as coerced, drug-fueled orgies involving women and male sex workers, directed and recorded by Combs for blackmail. Highlighted physical violence, including a 2016 assault on ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.* Introduced victims: Victim-1 (Ventura), Victim-2 (“Jane,” a single mother abused post-relationship), and Victim-4 (“Mia,” a former assistant coerced into sex acts).* Defense (Teny Geragos):* Framed the case as about “love, jealousy, infidelity, and money,” not trafficking. Claimed “freak offs” were consensual, part of Combs’ “swinger” lifestyle.* Admitted the 2016 Ventura assault video was “indefensible” but argued it reflected domestic violence, not trafficking. Noted Ventura’s 11-year relationship with Combs as evidence of choice.* Dismissed the seizure of 1,000+ bottles of baby oil during 2024 home raids as non-criminal (“Is that a federal crime? No”).* Witness Testimony:* Israel Florez (Former Hotel Security Guard, now LAPD Officer):* Testified about responding to a distressed woman’s call at the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City in March 2016. Found Ventura with a purple eye; she declined to call the police.* The prosecution played the 2016 surveillance video, showing Combs shoving, kicking, and dragging Ventura in a hotel hallway, then throwing a glass vase, corroborating Florez’s account.* Daniel Phillip (Male Escort/Stripper):* Testified he was paid to have sex with Ventura multiple times (2012–2013) while Combs watched and directed, including role-play and specific acts. Combs allegedly photographed Phillip’s driver’s license as a threat to ensure silence.* Witnessed Combs slap, drag, and throw a liquor bottle at Ventura, describing her as “shaking” and “terrified” in one incident.* Said Combs offered him drugs (declined) and believed Ventura may have been under the influence.* Cross-examination began; Phillip was ordered not to contact his attorney overnight and to return for further questioning.Tuesday 01:50-02:55* Witness Testimony:* Daniel Phillip (Continued):* Cross-examination resumed, with the defense questioning inconsistencies and suggesting Phillip exaggerated for financial gain. They probed the consensual nature of his encounters.* Cassie Ventura (Victim-1):* Began testifying, describing “freak offs” as “disgusting” and coercive. Said she was not sober during her first sexual encounter with Combs and was pressured into acts, including a “freak off” at a Trump hotel.* Detailed the 2016 hotel assault, noting bruises and a black eye. Testified Combs texted her afterward, claiming police were coming and threatening to cut contact if she didn’t respond.* Recounted covering bruises with makeup and dark glasses for a movie premiere days after the assault. Emotionally, she described Combs asking her to call him by her grandfather’s name and comparing him to Ike Turner.* Defense cross-examined, presenting texts suggesting Ventura enjoyed “freak offs” and claiming a “bad batch” of MDMA caused the 2016 incident. Ventura countered that the texts lacked full context.* Notable Moments:* Ventura, pregnant with her third child and due soon, was a

In this episode, with a jury now seated, the racketeering and sex trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs is underway. I share updates on the case and will provide periodic updates in future episodes, though not daily. Senator Grassley persists in his push for transparency and accountability at the DOJ, FBI, and HHS. We explore new documents from the Crossfire Hurricane Binder, sparking a discussion on Bruce and Nellie Ohr, Oleg Deripaska, and others, plus recently released notes from McCabe regarding Flynn. This leads us to revisit the Flynn/Kislyak phone call transcripts, and it all connects to Flynn v. United States, which was dismissed without prejudice last December, but there is an amended complaint on the way now as the Binder sheds new light on the setup that LTG Michael Flynn and the first Trump Admin suffered. It’s another document-heavy episode with occasional rabbit trails and commentary. This episode explores the recent arrest of two leaders of the '764' group, providing background on this group and other extremely violent, nihilistic communities that target and exploit minors. My aim is twofold: to inform parents about these groups, their beliefs, and how to protect their children by raising awareness (Red Pill). I also share encouraging news about law enforcement’s efforts to combat them (White Pill). The arrests, described as part of a law enforcement action against an “international child exploitation enterprise,” underscore the significance of these efforts.A disclaimer: While I avoid graphic images and minimize disturbing details, the subject matter is dark and may not be suitable for all audiences. In this episode, I share my thoughts on Trump’s first 100 days, exploring media-driven narrative wars and persuasion tactics aimed at undermining his administration’s numerous successes and reforms.I can’t stay on that topic long, though, because I’ve got documents and criminal cases to talk about. I first pivot to unpack tariffs and trade strategies, diving into Stefan Mirren’s trade policy playbook, and celebrate the DOJ’s crackdown on judicial corruption, spotlighting Judge Dugan’s arrest for obstructing ICE, New Mexico Judge Cano’s ties to Tren de Aragua, and the arrests of key leaders in the online extremist group 764. I’ve got much more on the DOJ front than I can fit into this episode, so another is on the way shortly. : )Just Human is a reader-supported publication. In the previous episode, I excitedly went over a few documents from the Crossfire Hurricane Binder that was recently declassified by Trump (again) and published by select media outlets. However, I rushed past what the Crossfire Hurricane Binder actually is, what it should contain—indeed, this is not the entire Crossfire Hurricane Binder—and its potential value if fully declassified, unredacted, and published for all to read.So in this episode, I rewind to October 2020 and tell the origin story of the Binder, recount what should be in it, and go over what is and is not. We finally have the Crossfire Hurricane Binder*—a collection of seemingly random Crossfire Hurricane-related memos, text messages, interview transcripts, etc., many still with redactions and most having already been released to Congress, used in court cases, or given to media. So why get excited about it? Well, at first I wasn’t all THAT excited. I’m not a fan of the Trump Administration’s apparent preference for releasing declassified materials to only a handful of journalists instead of posting it online somewhere for EVERYONE to have instant access to. That made me a bit sour on the release at first. But as I browsed the material over the past few days and as it reactivated my interests in the subject matter, my enthusiasm increased. The majority of the material is not new nor massively revelatory; however, there are some fresh tiles of info that help us assemble the Crossfire Hurricane mosaic, if you will. : ) Just Human is a reader-supported publication. Usually I arrive at an episode with a decidedly contrarian take on the news at hand. I like finding the flaw or the fake within the news, the sleight of hand that is occurring, or the manipulation with how it is being presented that, if exposed, alters the story being told. I also enjoy highlighting the grander strategies in play. To some degree and in my own way, I do both of those things in this episode. But I am arriving at the microphone for this episode with much less of a contrarian disposition than is my norm. That is because I can relate to the major economic news of today and the last several days. Or rather, I relate to how others are relating to the economic news of recent days. My confidence in the Trump administration and its economic strategies aside— I get it. I identify with the stress, with the reactions, and with the panic.I relate to the catastrophizing because catastrophic thinking, well, I do that a lot. I'm okay, but defeating the vicious, negative thought loops, especially once they get an entropy to them, and escaping the distortions they imbue is exhausting. All across the recent news cycles, negative thought loops are being sown, leading people to be captured by both the negative narratives coming at them and their own catastrophizing based on those narratives. So with all that in mind, I approach this episode not so much with an aim to contradict the narratives themselves but instead to adjust your perspective on them through reorientation and with clarity from where you are, not from where the negative narrative originates. That’s the first half of the episode. In the second half… Well, you’ll have to listen/watch to find out.Support links:Coffee—click here.Just Human Merch—click here.Benson’s Honey Farm affiliate link: click here.Bootleg Products affiliate link: click here.Manly Cans affiliate link—click here.To find all of my links in one place, click here. In this episode, The Atlantic has published what it says are screenshots of the “Houthi PC small group” Signal chat, which is evolving into, by design, something approximating the Flynn-Kislyak-Kushner Trump Tower meeting of this would-be scandal. Now dubbed Signalgate by the usual suspects, this is obviously the Flynn-ing of Waltz… Or maybe Hegseth, since he, or his account, is who sent the “attack plans” to the Signal chat group.Games the game, and there are many games underway with this one. In this episode, Trump has declassified the Crossfire Hurricane Binder—again; I am looking forward to examining it. The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg has been ‘chatted’ into a trap or series of traps. Whether it was an accident or not, it is certainly developing in a way that indicates several games are afoot. And more MAGA-affiliated X accounts have been exposed as less than honorable this week thanks to a paid post campaign from... Big Soda? I get on, off, and then back on my soapbox about ten times during that segment—ha! And honestly, I am still not happy with it. What's in the JFK Assassination Records?

I love documents! And President Trump’s issuing of Executive Order 14176 is serving up tens of thousands of records to rifle through and digest. I’m several hundred pages into them, building a thread on X as I go, and figured a video would go well with the thread. So here’s Part 1 of what will be a series on the JFK Files. I don’t intend to present or boost one theory over another or to uncover some hidden truth, though attention will be given to places where redactions have been recently lifted (as those can be spicy!). I want to see both what the document is, says, and represents in the context of it’s time and in relation to other documents. In this episode, Eric Adams, the current Democrat Mayor of New York City and former NYPD captain, former Borough President, and former New York State Senator, has been indicted by the S.D.N.Y. on five counts, including conspiracy, bribery, soliciting foreign contributions, and wire fraud, with more charges likely. It’s just Adams that is charged for now, but the large number of raids, search warrants, and subpoenas that have gone out related to this (these) investigation(s), plus references to “his agents” and/or “his co-conspirators,” as the indictment calls them in one paragraph, all lead me to believe that more people are going to be charged. There are also some clues (*cough* Rudy *cough*) that the initial investigation(s) may have begun well before Biden's administration was even a thing, which makes Adam’s criticisms of the Biden administration look a little different if that is the case. i.e., Adams was dissatisfied with Biden because Biden wasn’t calling off DOJ, so he mouthed off about Biden policies and rather than the inverse. #DrainTheSwamp is real.Let’s read the indictment. In this episode, we focus on just two sets of documents: a filing by Trump’s counsel in the J6/Election Interference case brought by Special Counsel Smith against President Trump and a new filing by the FBI in the Seth Rich FOIA case. The first filing, an omnibus reply by Trump’s team, asks Judge Chutkan to address the significant discovery issues in that case prior to any other advancement of the case. The arguments are solid, well crafted, and delivered, peppered with entertaining zingers, too. More interesting, though, are the asides, hints, disclosures, and foreshadowing. It may be my favorite filing from that docket to date.In the Seth Rich FOIA case, the FBI finally discloses how and when they learned of the Seth Rich homicide investigation and provides two previously sealed documents from October 2022: a Seidel Declaration describing the acquisition of the Seth Rich personal laptop and creation of an FD-302 and a Declaration by an Assistant United States Attorney and Chief of the Homicide Section of the DC U.S. Attorney’s Office. It’s a lot to fit into a 2-hour show, and I rifle through them as quickly as I can while giving commentary and pulling up associated material here and there—a coffee and snack is recommended for this episode.Enjoy!Support links:Coffee—click here.Just Human Merch—click here.Benson’s Honey Farm affiliate link: click here.Bootleg Products affiliate link: click here.Manly Cans affiliate link—click here.To find all of my links in one place, click here. In this episode, Rep. Santos will plead guilty to multiple federal charges on Monday; two Smartmatic defendants were arraigned and given multimillion-dollar bonds; The New York Times successfully sued the U.S. State Department for documents related to Hunter Biden’s activities in Europe; the emerging Nord Stream pipeline sabotage story out of the German investigation now includes multiple arrest warrants; and finally, a short thread priming us for an inevitable choice: whether or not to render evil for evil.Support links:Coffee—click here.Just Human merch—click here.Benson’s Honey Farm affiliate link: click here.Bootleg Products affiliate link: click here.Manly Cans affiliate link—click here.To find all of my links in one place, click here. In this episode, I take you back through articles concerning Iranian cyber ops and then to recent disclosures and reactions to the successful compromise of a Trump campaign staffer's email account and the theft of hundreds of pages of documents—a dossier even—and sent many of these documents to DC media, who then kept quiet about them until the Trump campaign announced to the world that they had been hacked. The whole thing is giving me an unshakeable spell of Steele Dossier déjà vu.I also take you through some big news in the Seth Rich FOIA case. The judge has denied plaintiff Huddleston's request that the FBI expand it's search for FOIA'able documents outside of the Bureau, but he has also denied the FBI's attempt to hide all of the information contained on Seth Rich’s personal laptop, Seth Rich’s work laptop, the DVD, and the tape drive behind a categorical application of Exemption 7(A).Furthermore, and this is the big news, he has ordered the FBI to conduct a document-by-document review of the information it possesses on the compact disk containing images of Seth Rich’s personal laptop, Seth Rich’s work laptop, the DVD, and the tape drive. He has also ordered the FBI to subsequently produce the Vaughn Index he ordered them to produce six months ago or file a motion for summary judgment, again, once the document-by-document review is complete. Either way, they have to do the review, which I believe will force them from the position of categorically withholding information behind Exemption 7(A) to eventually having to defend withholding individual documents. In this episode, documents obtained by Just The News show that Asif Raza Merchant was granted a special kind of "parole" by the FBI after they conducted an interview with him upon his arrival in the country and learned of his recent travels to Syria and Iran.Additionally, a cofounder of the voting system company Smartmatic and two additional employees have been charged by the DOJ with conspiracy, bribery, and fraud. It's the same case we learned about from Patrick Byrne last September. It was sealed until now. Plus, Gov Youngkin issues an Executive Order securing elections in Virginia and Special Counsel Smith asks Judge Chutkan for a three-week delay in the election interference case against Trump, but is he running into DOJ’s 60-Day Rule? In this episode, I’ve continued to dig on Asif Merchant and have come across some interesting stories from the past two years concerning Iranian assassination plots in the U.S., including a case that is now curiously sealed…Plus, a flurry of filings related to motions in limine in the Hunter Biden tax case hit the docket this week. In them, Special Counsel Weiss highlights Hunter’s FARA violations and scandalous lifestyle and links his foreign dealings to his father, while Hunter’s defense counsel reveals he may take the witness stand at trial. In this episode, Israel has killed three or more top commanders in Hamas and Hezbollah in recent days, even striking into Tehran just hours after the new Iranian President was inaugurated. Some think Israel went too far with these strikes, while others think they have adroitly placed the Iranian regime in a trap. At the same time, the State Department scandal surrounding former Iran envoy Robert Malley is catching up with Kamala Harris; one of her advisors is implicated. Also, a new plea deal for three out of five 9-11 terrorists held at GTMO has been signed, a clandestine nation vs. nation, intel vs. intel, proxy vs. proxy war has spilled into the media and almost gone unnoticed, and a Musk-backed superPAC has appeared. In this episode, I find out that not only is J.D. Vance a fantastic pick for V.P., he was the obvious choice all along and signifies a return to the intellectual prowess and American optimism that once hallmarked the GOP. This was a high-IQ pick by Trump. Also, in lawfare news, Judge Cannon took the hint from Justice Thomas and dismissed Special Counsel Smith’s classified documents case-granting Trump’s Motion to Dismiss for Unlawful Appointment. Since recording this episode Smith has officially appealed it as expected, however that lands the case right back on Justice Thomas’s desk and up to the full SCOTUS if Smith takes it that far.The move has prompted defendants charged by Weiss to consider similar motions to dismiss. And finally, in Swamp Draining News, both Senator Menendez and Miles Guo have been found guilty!Enjoy!Support links:Coffee click here.Merch click here.Benson’s Honey Farm affiliate link click here.Bootleg Products affiliate link click here.Manly Cans affiliate link click here.To find all of my links in one place click here.
