5/26/19 - I Love My Church
There are different places, locations, buildings that we eventually have to visit in life. Places we need to go to just because of the course of life: school, for example, or the dentist’s office. But we feel different about going to the dentist compared to say going to Disneyland. Many times we go to these places because we have to, not necessarily because we want to. Chances are when we find ourselves taking a test in school, or having a root canal we don’t respond “I Love this place!”, do we? Many people think about Church the same way they think about going to school, or say the dentist’s office. Is the Church really just a place that we feel we “have” to go to or is there more to it? What was God’s intention when He created the Church? Was that His idea about this community of people? I believe the Bible tells us ‘no’, it wasn’t, and isn’t God’s plan for the Church. I believe that God wants us to love the Church. Not love what we see in the news sometimes or maybe have experienced in the past, but love the Church as He intended it to be. That’s what this series is going to be about — us learning to be the community God intended us to be.

9/16/18 - Ruth
The Book of Ruth is the Cinderella story of the Old Testament, and it’s one of the most wonderfully written stories in all of Scripture. It focuses on a female friendship between the young new convert Ruth and the older Naomi, who struggled with bitterness. And the love story between Ruth and Boaz is on par with anything a Hollywood filmmaker can dream up.

8/5/18 - What If?
“What if?” That phrase can strike fear in all of our hearts and minds as we consider all the things that could go wrong in our world, especially when it comes to our finances. Security is one of our basic needs and thinking about all the “what if’s” can cause panic and anxiety when we think about future plans. But what if the “what if” question wasn’t as much about fear, but about possibility? What if when we trust God, He can do far more with what we give, in our lives and in the lives of others, than we could possibly imagine or do on our own? Join us for our series, 'What If?', where we’ll be imagining what God would do through us if we would really trust Him with what He’s blessed us with.

This Journey is best made as we take into account 5 key principles that we value as Jesus’ disciples: Found people find people, saved people serve people, growing people change, all people need people, and people can’t out-give God. We believe that as we live out these values that we will find ourselves, and those around us, becoming more like our Savior. It’s our hope that these messages expand your understanding of who we are both as church and as followers of Christ.
