Bryan interviews Jaime Lind, a woman in Rhode Island who was reading a You Version Bible App devo from Influencers and was prompted to know more about our ministry. She ended up joining a Virtual Journey Group and is now on staff. You may have heard us interview Jason Maxwell in the past. He is an Influencer from Northwest Arkansas who came out of the homosexual lifestyle after a powerful encounter with the Holy Spirit. Then, he went through The Journey and found a tool he could use to help other men who shared the same struggle. You may have seen our prayer request for Pastor John Wheeler, one of our Influencers in Tulsa, OK, as he lost his 52 year old son, John, Jr. a few weeks ago to complications from cardiac arrest. When trying to understand how to pray for America, many Christians look to 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” It’s like “If we Americans pray and repent, all will be well.” Perhaps God may choose to use much tougher measures to create a wake-up call to America, and we must be willing to pray for that, as well.
