Pete was married 50 years to his sweet bride, Suzan, who went to be with the Lord a few years ago. He does a great job talking about the sacred responsibility of being married.

Easter Week Through the Eyes of Judas
Judas is the main villain in the account of Jesus’ last week on earth, before his crucifixion. Rocky and Bryan discuss what we can learn from Judas’ betrayal and what might have led him to desert Jesus. Before we are too quick to judge Judas, perhaps we should think of how we may have betrayed Jesus. This was a critical time in Judas’ life and it is a critical time for us, as well.

A Weekend for the Business of Souls
Bryan recently attended a Souly Business retreat in California. Souly Business is a 48-hour dive into intimacy with Christ, founded by some businessmen in Atlanta, GA, who wanted to help men catch a vision for the true richness of life in Christ. Bryan interviews Kevin Silberberg and Ben McKnight, two of the original Influencers Bakersfield leaders, who were hosting the Souly Business event from the stage. They talk about how Souly Business has been a great on-ramp for The Journey and how it has created a community of strong brotherhood in Bakersfield.

As you may know, The Journey has been taking off in Costa Rica and Latin America and we continue to refine our Spanish curriculum to reach across all Spanish cultures and dialects. Finally, Spanish Journey Groups are beginning to happen in the U.S.! Bryan interviews a young bi-lingual leader in Bakersfield, CA, John Vasquez, who talks about his efforts leading the first Spanish-speaking Journey group where he lives.

Marc Merk: Bridging the Racial Divide
Bryan interviews Marc Merk, a key part of the initial leadership team in Central Coast, CA, who felt a calling from the Lord to move to Southhaven, Mississippi to help the Influencers effort in the Memphis area and with a heart to build integrated Journey groups with men of different races. Marc has found fertile soil within black churches and multi-racial churches who are hungry for discipleship. He’s also found himself doing prison ministry. Hear Marc’s inspiring story.

LIVE IT OUT: Influencer Starting a Christian School in Cameroon, Africa
We love to tell “Live it Out” stories where men and women who are Abiding in Christ begin to be used by the Spirit in impactful ways in their families, their companies, their communities and their home countries. Eric Neuyou, a native of Cameroon, Africa, came to the United States on a coveted college scholarship. This led him to work at Walmart, where he met Tom Seay, who invited him on The Journey. This impacted his faith life and his perspective on success. Now, Eric has started a non-profit, “Flourishing Seeds”, with a goal of starting a Christian school in his home country. He wants to make disciples of young minds in Africa, showing them they can serve Christ and make a difference right there in their home country. After a 35 year career with Tyson Foods and 4 years of serving on the Global Board for Influencers, God tapped Kyle on the shoulder and told him His plans for his “retirement.” He needed him to help serve this community where it all started, this unique business community where Walmart, Tyson Foods and JB Hunt are all headquartered and with business influence around the world. The First Women’s Journey Group in Colombia, South America
We interview Yami Pate, a dentist in Northwest Arkansas, who also happens to be from Honduras and fluent in Spanish. Yami answered a plea from Colombia for someone to guide their women through The Journey. Yami teamed up with her sister from Honduras and they led this group virtually. Then, they travelled to Colombia for a special commencement in person. We continue to be amazed at the opportunities God is inviting us into. Praise Him.

Influencers Birthed in Montgomery, AL
Recently, we interviewed Tim Rine during one of our monthly Champions meetings. Tim is a pastor who recently moved to Montgomery, AL to take on a new pastor position. Tim had seen so much life transformation through The Journey during his time in Northwest Arkansas that the first thing he endeavored to do in his new church was start a Journey Group. Hear the story of what happened and his perspective as a pastor. Very inspiring.
