186: Trusting Your Intuition and Living as Your Authentic Self with Dr. Carolyn Kurle

This week I deep dive with my guest Dr. Carolyn Kurle on how we can tune out the noise of other people’s expectations and listen to our inner truth. Dr. Carolyn Kurle holds degrees in Zoology, German Literature, Wildlife Science, and Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior. She is a tenured biology professor at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Dr. Kurle teaches hundreds of UCSD students every year. Working with these remarkable people helped inspire her to write The Guidance Groove as numerous truly outstanding, brilliant, hard-working, and beautiful UCSD students struggle with feelings of inadequacy, obligation, scarcity, and unworthiness and exhibit many of the behaviors that stem from adherence to the Unproductive Grooves detailed in her book. We never quiet our minds completely, but we can learn to recognize when our false thoughts steer our choices, then choose instead to act from a place of authenticity. Then, we can navigate life from a place of authentic wholeness, and ease, contentment, and joy will naturally arise. 185: Finding Financial Freedom and Peace with Lewis Crompton

When you think of financial peace, what does that mean to you? Is it something that even seems within your reach? Or does it feel like there are mindset blocks that keep you from finding freedom within money? My guest today is Lewis Crompton who is a Bloomberg-recognised Trader who used to teach on behalf of Rich Dad Poor Dad. His passion is to teach people how to create financial peace in their lives by empowering them to make their money work hard for them. To do this, Lewis created the STARTrading Method which allows his students to trade with little downside and great upside. The best-performing students spend as little as 30mins per day trading in order to generate between 5% and 10% returns monthly. All with low time commitment, minuscule downside, and high upside. Lewis’s unique background as a former Christian counselor therapist who moved into trading really informed his view on money and making money. He believed he always was going to be poor and that was the end of the story that he had told himself and it wasn’t until he examined that belief that he realized he had the power to tell a different story. 175: Navigating an Existential Crisis on My Own and Welcome to Season 3!

Well friend…it has been a HOT SEC since I’ve rolled into your feed with a new podcast episode. Actually, almost one ENTIRE year. What was meant to be a one month break turned into an almost year-long hiatus, but TBH, I needed it. I needed a break. I was worn out, burnt out, not creative, dealing with a whole ton of stuff, clearing out stuck and old energy, and literally *so much more* that I talk about in this episode. The truth is, sometimes we need a break. And even when we plan for that break to be short, you know as well as I do that Spirit and the Universe has a different plan for us. And this journey was meant to happen, so that I could come back with a fresh perspective to uplevel the conversations we’re having here, and ultimately help you uplevel your life. In this first episode back, we’re getting into the nitty gritty of moving through an existential life crisis…yes, I had one, in my mind, while everything else looked fine on the outside. I’m really grateful to share that I’m now on the other side of it, and I’m grateful for the lessons that I can now share with you here. We get into: [3:38] Where I’ve been [5:15] Who is Simona? 150: Tapping into Your Power as a Modern Woman through the Layered Living Planner with Brittani Hunt, Co-Founder of HerSpace Co.

How do you devote time to yourself as a modern woman? With kids, relationships, careers, and more, it’s easy to lose ourselves in the process, and become a shell of the person we once were. HerSpace Co. is aiming to change this narrative. It’s co-founded by Brittani Hunt and Tanisha Carothers and began to take form almost 10 years ago – long before it even had a name. From women's conferences and retreats at hotels to workshops on college campuses, Brittani and Tanisha found themselves creating and holding space for the modern woman. They realized what has been calling them since 2008 - creating a space where the modern woman can be and become...A space where she could be challenged and celebrated....A space where she could rest and roar...A space where she could make magic and make meaning. HerSpace Co. is that space. It is indeed her space. It is created for modern women by two women who know what it feels like to need a space to call your own. 149: Why Setting Intentions are More Effective Than Setting Goals with Simona Costantini

I'm so excited to be on the podcast with you this week for the very, very first episode of 2022! I can hardly believe that we're already here, and that we're in a completely new year. Time just continues to fly by and it blows my mind. This week, we’re talking about why setting intentions are more effective than setting goals. It might feel a little bit controversial, and it’s definitely an unpopular opinion. But I wanted to bring it to light anyways, because January is the start of new beginnings for a lot of us. It's the time where we set our new goals, new workout programs, new eating regimens, but one thing that I think we often forget is what our intentions are for the new year. We're so quick to set goals and we're so quick to set milestones, but what are the intentions and the feelings that we want to bring into this new year? We get into: Why goals can be too structured for spiritual entrepreneurs How to differentiate between goals and “to dos” Setting intentions that support your goals Why goals are deeper than hitting a target My intentions for 2022 Want to chat about launching or growing your podcast? It blows my mind to see all of the transformations that have happened through my journey. But also my clients, my friends, my community, my loved ones, my family, my husband -- everyone. 147: My 3 Tips for Getting In Tune with Spirit with Simona Costantini

I have been on a spiritual journey for the last three years, give or take. I wanted to share some things about spirituality and tapping into your own spirit team that I've learned along the way. I've shied away from having this conversation in the past because there are so many people out there that have so many different opinions about spirituality, about how to be spiritual, about the things that “qualify” you as a spiritual person. And it actually can be very intimidating for people to tap into this part of themselves because there's so much fear and judgment around learning more about your spirituality. So today, we’re changing the narrative and giving you the permission to get to know yourself on a soul level. Believer or non-believer, I guarantee you will take something away from this episode. I dive into: Opening yourself up to receive messages from spirit The gifts you receive by getting in tune with yourself How to ask, look for, and receive signs from the universe Uncommon tips to get quiet and listen to messages your spirit team has for you Why validation from other people is not the answer Want to chat about launching or growing your podcast? 141: How to Find Security Within Ourselves with Simona Costantini

This week’s podcast episode is a solo episode with me, your host, Simona! I’ve learned a LOT over the last year and have faced so many inner challenges that I’ve had to continuously bring to the surface and move through so I could really heal and step into the next phase of my life. I learned this year that I have serious control issues and that’s here my fear of letting go comes from. I hate making mistakes and I let this fear control and take over my life in so many areas. I hit burnout, hard. And then the sadness and darkness set in so quickly, I couldn’t even catch it. While I’m in a much better headspace now, I wanted to do an episode about how to find security within ourselves, especially when everything externally feels chaotic and out of control. I dive into: How burnout and stress creeps into the body Why internal security helps you make sound business decisions Why hiring on my team was really hard for me and how I moved through it My 3 tips to help you find lasting security within yourself How I practice self care (it’s not the cookie cutter answer you’re expecting!) 140: Why Building Genuine Relationships Gets You the Best Results with Bill Reiman

In this week’s episode, I sit down with Bill Reiman. After an injury ended his college football career, he changed course. He dabbled in sales at a car dealership, but knew this wasn’t his path. He decided to go back to college and finished with a degree in business management and marketing from the University of South Florida. With a proven sales track record of millions in residential home sales and vacant land sales at a young age, he knows how to market and sell his client's property using modern marketing strategies to get a property in front of more eyes. Bill also specializes in new home construction and is currently a builder for award-winning R.K. Reiman Construction, Inc. The company’s focus is on the long-term relationships, service, and quality they deliver to every customer. Bill is also the host of The Real Build Podcast, where he teaches people what they need to look for before buying, building, or selling a home. His mission is to help people with one of the most significant investments of their lives and be their guide for a smooth process. Listen in as we talk about: How to create a memorable and irreplicable customer experience The difference that good communication and listening makes Why you need a team and how to value your team members Tips to empower your team to reach their own goals How to maximize your time without hitting burnout Connect with Bill Facebook Instagram Twitter www.rkreiman.com Want to chat about launching or growing your podcast?
