This week we will explore Paul’s call to wake up from slumber and live out an intentional gospel presence.

Romans 13 opens with some key insights on vertical and then horizontal relationships. Over the last two weeks, we've looked at vertical relationships, those with an authority over us. The operative word for these relationships is submission. This week in Romans 13:8-10 we move to horizontal relationships, those we do life with. The operative word here is love. In this message we will look at what it means to have no debt except love.

This message is a continuation of last week's message on authority and submission. Submission is often key to the follower experiencing the power of God. In this message we look at how to respond to authorities that are good, bad and ugly.

This message is the first of two on the topic of authority and the power of submission. This first message will dive into the whys for submission to authorities and will give several biblical examples of God's followers who submitted and how that was used by God. In this message we will see that submission to God and working under earthly authorities is a huge principle that is a common theme throughout the Bible.

This week we will explore Paul’s practical insights in Romans 12 for the church to live with transformative impact in the world.

In this final example in our series "It's Ordinary to be Extraordinary", Esther illustrates that God's people are to obey no matter what the cost. Like Esther we are "for such a time as this" followers of God who are called to follow no matter what may be the consequences. Her story should inspire us to new levels of obedience.

Do you long for God to move mightily in your life? In this message we will see, from the example of Hezekiah, how to do great exploits in our faith.

In this week's message we will see that the ordinary nomadic Rechabites were extraordinary in following their ancestor's instruction. God calls us to this kind of loyalty to His instructions.

We have the armor, the weapons, and the people, now we need to fight for our families and homes.

On this Pentecost Sunday we remember that God has called His people, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to be missionally minded. We are part of His movement to reach the whole world.

This week we will explore what it means to live as a sent people.

In this final message from Ephesians we will see that 3 words—sit, walk and stand—are useful in remembering some of the big ideas of this epistle. God has given us spiritual armor; understanding each piece and its function equips the follower to stand fast in their faith.

As we close out our study from Ephesians we are brought to the climactic thought that we are to put off living as though this physical world is all there is, and put on the spiritual armor of God and engage in the spiritual realm. In this first message of two, our focus is on the truth that we battle not flesh and blood but spiritual forces of evil.

Part of the redemption that the follower of Jesus is to experience is the restoration of family relationships. But it doesn't end there, beyond family dynamics, it should affect all relationships. In this message we will learn some essentials for right relationship with God and how this is to be the model for training our children.

In Ephesians 5 Paul describes how the redemptive work of Jesus changes our relationships. We will look at three core components of redeemed relationships.

Are you a Mary or a Martha? In this message from District Superintendent Wes Smith we will look at choosing to focus on what is Best.

In this message we will see how understanding Jubilee in the Old Testament will grace us to understand and celebrate what we have as followers of the resurrected Jesus. It is a time of the Lord's favor, a time of liberation and restitution for the people of God!

In this message, on the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, we will see that there were three crowds present: in the know, for the show and trying to stop the flow. This insight is helpful in understanding dynamics of our culture today and what we should expect from each of these crowds. In this message from Ephesians we will look at what it means to live in a manner worthy of our calling.

In Ephesians 3:14-21 Paul prays that we would experience the power of the Holy Spirit in our inner being so that we can grasp the love of Jesus that surpasses knowledge. Paul takes a break from all the deep teachings of Ephesians and prays, "God, unleash Your power in us and do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine!"

This week we will explore God’s purpose and intentions for the faithful and effective ministry of the church.

This week we will explore Paul’s teaching that in Christ we are reconciled to God and others as we are made new in Christ.

In this message we will see that God has skillfully equipped His followers with talents, abilities and gifts of the Holy Spirit to do the good works He has planned for them long ago. If we refuse to be ones who embrace and do the good works God has ordained, then we will wander aimlessly through life missing out on what could have been.

In Ephesians 1 Paul prays for the Christ-follower to have an enlightened awareness. In Ephesians 2 he defines some of this enlightenment by describing the differences between the dead, those who reject Jesus, and the alive, those who have received Jesus. In this message we will look at these differences and conclude with the way of salvation.

This message will kick off our Ephesians series. Our text is Ephesians 1 and a big thought from this text is that the follower of Jesus is the recipient of blessings in Jesus. In this message we will look at some of the ways we are blessed.

This week we will look at how and where we grow in our relationship with Jesus on our discipleship journey.

In this message, for the 4th Sunday of Advent, we will see that the life and ministry of Jesus is bookended with a promise of peace. Peace may be better understood as a path to walk rather than a place to arrive. Like love and joy—two previous themes in Advent--peace is a fruit of the Holy Spirit and is a wonderful gift that God bestows on His followers.

As the year 2020 closes out, so many are glad for it to end but for God's people, no matter what the circumstances, joy should be a defining trait. In this message we look into the subject of joy.

This coming Sunday we will discover the distinct look and calling that should define a Christian, as well as the need for genuine transformation to promote this kind of life change. This is a timely message and very appropriate for the days we are living in.

"Why can't God just forgive everyone and take us all to heaven?" This week's message will give a clear answer to this question, helping you to work out your salvation (Philippians 2:12) and equip you to be ready to give an answer for the hope that you have in Jesus (1 Peter 3:15). We will also have an opportunity to reflect on the meaning and implications of being forgiven.

How could a loving God send people to hell? Isn’t it narrow minded to say that the only way to God is through Jesus? This is what this message will look into.

This week we’ll explore this grown up faith question: Why can’t I make my own rules for my life?
