The cross doesn’t just deal with sin—it transforms how we live. This message looks at how life begins to change because of what Jesus has done, reshaping our motivations, grounding our identity in Christ, and calling us into a greater purpose. We are invited to receive who we are in Him and live as His ambassadors in the world.

Why the cross? Jesus’ death was not random—it was full of divine purpose. The cross stands at the heart of the gospel, showing us what Jesus accomplished for us: restoring humanity, satisfying God’s justice, taking our place, and defeating sin and death. The more we understand the cross, the more we are able to trust and follow Him.

When Jesus tells His disciples about His coming suffering and death, it disrupts their expectations and fills them with grief. Yet Jesus holds suffering and resurrection together, revealing that God’s purposes are still at work even through pain. This message invites us to trust God’s plan and follow Jesus faithfully, even when the path is confusing, costly, or difficult.

The Ark represents the place where God met with His people. In Christ, that access is fulfilled and we see what happens in the presence of God: intercession. Jesus stands in the gap for us, and when we draw near, we’re invited to do the same. This message challenges us to expand our awareness and increase our intentionality as we pray for others.

Through the practice of Lectio Divina, we are invited to pause, listen, and respond to God’s presence.
