Happy holidays! It’s been quite an amazing year! In this final episode of 2018, we recap our 2018 Disney highlights and discuss what we’re looking forward to most in 2019. Quality, yet again, is really the focal point here. It’s incredible what Disney does with consistency...they just make it look so EASY to produce greatness. Joe introduces the phrase audience-goer into the vernacular and we do a brief review of a non-Disney product, Aquaman, which we saw on Saturday. (If you go see it, record how many times they steal lines from The Lion King to reiterate that Jason Momoa...I mean Arthur Curry...is the “one true king.” I think I counted at least three.) We keep the singing to a minimum again this week, but struggle to not make a Hamilton reference every five minutes. But it is true, all conflicts should be settled by rap battles.
