Ep 54Frozen the Musical
In this week’s Disney News, if you happen to be one of the lucky people going to Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge this weekend and you happen to overstay your welcome, you’ll be kicked out by Storm Troopers!!! Yes, you read that right, Storm Troopers! (Disclaimer: Enchanted Ears doesn’t endorse overstaying your welcome, but it would be pretty cool to be kicked out by Storm Troopers!!!) Also, to accommodate the increased crowds that Disney World is anticipating for their own opening of Galaxy’s Edge, there will be extra extra magic hours added for guests at Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and Magic Kingdom. We would like to offer an unpaid internship opportunity to anyone with Rainman-level counting abilities, so the actual capacity of Hollywood Studios would be known. A few listeners posed the question of whether or not Goofy is a cow and not a dog. Joe and I debate and arrive at an official podcast position on this heated debate. This week, we “Let It Go” and tell you all about our amazing experience seeing Frozen on Broadway. There are new songs and almost all of your favorite movie songs performed by high-quality actors. Oaken’s sauna song is hilarious (and a bit risqué), while Elsa’s new song, “Monster,” gives us fabulous insight into exactly how she feels about her powers. Elsa and Anna get a wonderful upgrade in the Broadway version. We can peer much deeper into both of their psyches and get to know them much more as people. The pain is much more real and believable and it makes the musical an amazing addition to the Frozen canon. We rank the three Disney musicals on Broadway which inevitably resulted in me gushing over The Lion King and then trying to express a small amount of interest in the new movie. Joe smacks me down in the funniest (and quite well-deserved) way possible. Thanks for listening. Don’t forget to enter our contest to win some awesome Funko Pop Vinyls. To enter, follow these easy steps. 1. Leave us a review on iTunes or wherever you get your podcast from 2. Screenshot your comment 3. Ep 53Disney Decade: The 1930s
In this week’s brief Disney News, there’s a rumored second park in the Shanghai Disney location…and even better, Bob Iger has hinted that it could be a whole park dedicated to Marvel!! For the rest of the episode…. Welcome to the Roaring 30s…for Disney at least. While everyone was suffering through the Great Depression, Disney doubled down and worked hard to stay afloat and to continue innovating. This decade sees the advent of three-strip Technicolor that was used for the “Silly Symphonies” and eventually the multiplane camera that Disney used to film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Many important characters emerge including Goofy, Donald, and the whole Duck crew. But mostly everything in this decade centers around the iconic film that started a revolution in film making and had an Oscar created just for it: Snow White. The film certainly wasn’t easy to make and Walt wanted perfection, but the gamble totally paid off with the highest grossing film to that date. Joe and Angela also come up with a fantastic *cough cough terrible*retirement plan of going around to garage sales and trying to find old Disney artifacts like two knuckle-headed Indiana Joneses. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 52Instagram Walls and More Disney World Trip Recap
This week in Disney News, Disney released their cryptic list of movies for the next 8 years. Good news is there will be a lot more Marvel. Disney will own your Christmas season with Star Wars and Avatar. Also, the space-themed restaurant is slated to open this year. Boy-Howdy did we miss a lot talking about our last Disney trip, so this week we review the things we missed in our recap episode. We begin with the Instagram walls that have grown a cult following over the past several years. Let me tell you, Disney has walls everywhere (all buildings have at least one :) ). We discuss the wall that started it all, the Purple Wall and move on to the many other walls that have been given a life of their own after PW's Insta success. I'm not quite sure how we managed to forget our review of the Behind the Seeds Tour at Living With the Land. We had such a great time on this short tour of the Living With the Land facility learning how they keep pests at bay and how they farm mostly everything hydroponically! If you get a chance to go on this fabulous tour, go! Also, while down in Disney, we spent way too much money on Minnie Vans (hey, we had to research for ya'll, right?). It was so nice to go directly to where we wanted in a short time with our knowledgeable and friendly drivers. If you're in a pinch, they're a good way to get around. We also went to the Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy, which just opened March 31st. This kid-centric show was a good way to get out of the heat and check out Disney's cool Lightning McQueen animatronic. The show though...not entirely thrilling. Finally, we couldn't forget to mention our delicious dinner at Beaches & Cream. If you're gluten free and tired of eating sand-tasting bread, go here. They bake it fresh daily and the chicken sandwich was sooo tasty! And the desert...duh. If you've never been...seriously, go. Thank you so much for the support over this first year of our podcast! We really appreciate you listeners. Don't forget to leave us a review. They help with getting new listeners. Also, check out our facebook and Instagram pages. Have a magical week! Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 51Theme Park Tunes: Guess the Theme Song
Welcome to Episode 51: It’s all downhill from here! In this week’s news, we discuss the new We Are One show that will replace the Rivers of Light show in Anima Kingdom. Also, get your phone ready to snap a few Instagrammable pictures of the new Kylo Ren cupcake and the incredible-looking lightsaber churros! In this episode, have fun playing along as we try to guess the land or ride using the music from that particular place. One of us is incredible at this and the other one not so much. (Spoiler alert: Angela demonstrates her superiority in yet another useless skill. Joe’s good at many things. This isn’t one of them.) how many can you get right? Thanks to all of the wonderful Youtubers who recorded this music. We couldn’t play without you! Also, thanks to you, the magically wonderful listener! Ep 50Orange Bird
In this week’s Disney News, Disney announces they’re taking a break on Star Wars movies, which is no real surprise after Solo didn’t do as well as expected. Also, Disney finally released that Galaxy’s Edge reservations give you a 4 hour window to explore the park and fit you with shock collars to enforce the time limit. (Okay…not really, but it’d get people out of the park on time, wouldn’t it?) Today, Orange is the new black. We’re discussing Orange Bird. Maybe you’ve heard of him, maybe you haven’t, but if you’ve been to EPCOT lately—or on Instagram for that matter—he’s pretty hard to miss. We go into detail of who he is, where he came from, and talk about his comeback. Back in 1967, Disney struck up a deal with the Florida Citrus Commission to create a loveable character to be featured in orange juice commercials and in the new Walt Disney World Resort’s Enchanted Tiki Room. And unto us, a star was born! Or at least sort of a star. You see, Orange Bird went on a bit of a vacation, which is why a lot of kids raised in the 90s don’t know much about him. But now, he’s back to claim his rightful place in the park. We answer why he went and how he got created in the first place and so much more. Again, special thanks to our listeners for allowing us to reach this amazing milestone of 50 episodes. It seems like we just started, but we’re officially almost at our year marker! Also, thanks to Rob Plays on YouTube, allears.net, and Wikipedia for the amazing information. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 49Dismantling Our Disney World Trip
Hello! We’re back from Disney and anxious to talk about it! But first, we discuss the latest (week old) Disney news. (Sorry, ‘bout that. Too much excitement over the End Game ticket release last time!) A new trailer for The Lion King dropped and Joe learned his lesson not to bring it up no matter how incredible he thinks it is. Also, the 2019 Food and Wine Festival dates were released ensuring that August 29thwill be the most insane day in park history. In this episode, we go park-by-park reviewing the highlights of the FOOD and the rides and the FOOD, starting in Animal Kingdom. This being our first trip to Disney World since Pandora opened, we discuss all things Pandora. Two incredible fastpass grabs by Joe enabled us to ride Flight of Passage twice, which I’m thankful for. Definitely don’t ride this for the first time on a full stomach. The second ride, though, was a delight. We both appreciated the ride’s unique qualities that make it actually feel and look and smell like you’re on the back of a banshee. All we did in Hollywood Studios was visit Toy Story Land, which was vibrant and so much fun! Slinky Dog Dash and our (untalked about) interaction with Buzz Lightyear made the trip to this park well worth it. (Check the Instagram for the story about Buzz.) And then it was EPCOT…oh EPCOT…the place that all parents love and kids are like, “Hey, can we please go to Magic Kingdom now?” I never understood the love affair either until I developed a palette. I’d say that everything we ate there was the highlight of my trip: poutine, maple popcorn milkshake, Orange Bird Slushie, and the cauliflower dish at The Honey Bee-stro. Plus, we rode Frozen, a ride that will make you love the movie. In Magic Kingdom, we rode the staples, but talked a lot more about the rides that are easy to miss like The Peoplemover and Spaceship Earth. (Hot tip: These two rides are perfect to fall asleep on if you’re tired.) We thoroughly enjoyed the cute Donald Duck cartoon in Mickey’s Philharmagic. And again, after running so much during our trip, we enjoyed sitting down for 10 minutes or so. Finally, we end our trip discussion in Disney Springs. If you have the chance to do the Ralph Breaks VR at The Void before it’s gone, do it! It’s a riveting competition between you and the other characters that I wouldn’t promote nearly as much if I hadn’t beaten Joe. ;) We had a fabulous trip and are so happy to share it with you! Thanks so much for listening and making it all the way down here in the description. Don’t forget to check out our Facebook and Instagram accounts @enchantedearspodcast. Have a magical day! Ep 48The Force was with Us: Our Experience Running the Star Wars Rival Run
Hello, you wonderful balls of sunshine! This week, we still have that Disney glow that you only get when you’ve visited the happiest place on earth. In Disney news, the new Star Wars trailer dropped and gives fans plenty to think about. From new characters (including an adorable new droid) to Rey’s sweet ninja flips to Kylo’s pieced together mask, the trailer already looks better than the whole of the last movie. (Ow…burn.) Also, Disney finally gave more information about their new streaming service, Disney+. The price point and content have both of us saying, “Take our money now!” Our main topic this week is the 2019 Star Wars Rival Run. We discuss our experience running the race, our fatigue with having to get up at 3 am for 2 days in a row, the busing, race expo, route, and pretty much anything else that you’d like to know. The high points of the race were definitely the lasers and character photos. The low was running past the sewage treatment plant and just running in general. We also sprinkle in a few other hot tips about getting around Disney. If you’re thinking about running a 5K, 10K, half, or full marathon, we’d highly suggest trying a Disney one. We had so much fun! Just be sure to pack your extra pair of legs. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 47D23 Fan Club
Most of you have probably heard of D23 because of the Expo held every two years where many major announcements are made. Did you know that it’s a special club, too? We just joined and hope to reap its many benefits. From going on studio tours with our family membership—and bringing Loki and Cas along in special pet strollers and getting an unlimited supply of dirty looks—to receiving discounts at restaurants and stores, joining D23 may just be one of our best adulting decisions ever! Also, we discuss the awesome quarterly magazine that comes with a membership and again…discounts. Everything’s great until Joe reveals to me that we missed out on a behind-the-scenes opportunity on the set of Broadway’s production of The Lion King. With my soul crushed, I spend the rest of the episode trying not to stare out the window and dream of seeing where they keep the costumes and meeting the cast as they perform acoustic versions of the songs just for me. In Disney News, entry to Galaxy’s Edge upon opening is reservation-only to help with crowd control. It’s also timed. Also, they give bathroom passes, which is totally not what I thought they were. The NBA Experience opens August 12th and sounds ballin’. Also, Disney’s in a fight with Scotland over the possession of their beloved national icon, Nessie, which Disney captured and now uses as a ferry to the gondolas. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 46Handling Food Allergies at Disney Theme Parks
With our trip to Disney looming over us like a big, heavy sun, I was wondering, what the heck can I eat in Disney now that I’m on a gluten-free diet. The short answer is a lot! With the growing number of people with food allergies, Disney’s impeccable customer service shows itself again in their varied menus and amazing accommodations for people with a myriad of dietary needs. Find out the best places to eat, how to prepare and make sure Disney can be prepared to accommodate you, and the best places to get food that’s typically off-limits. Sorry in advance for Joe’s serenade. He only ever failed one class, and that class wasn’t Calculus. Plus, in news, we cover Disney’s new policies regarding strollers, smoking, and ice ice, baby. And when on earth are those Avenger’s End Game tickets coming out!? Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 45Disney - Fox Merger
Nick Wilde and Tod will be happy to have another Fox in the house. With Disney's recent acquisition of Fox to a tune of $71.3 billion, change is afoot. Joe and I discuss what properties Disney will gain the rights to, how it may change the face of cable and streaming services, and how it may impact the movies going forward. It's a crazy, exciting time! Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 44Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Episode II: A Park Awakens
Welcome to Galaxy’s Edge Episode II. In this second part of our two part series, we dive into how Disney has integrated the Disney Play app into the Galaxy’s Edge experience. We also talk about each new ride in depth, detailing how the rides will operate, what the backstories are, how you’re going to participate, etc. If you aren’t excited about this addition yet, you certainly will be! Strap in for a wild ride my friends! If you like this episode, don't forget to check out our Galaxy's Edge Episode I, which is all about the backstory of the park, what there'll be to eat and drink, and what merch you can buy! Ep 43Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Episode I: A New Park
Baaaaa baaaaa ba ba ba baaaaa baaaa ba ba ba baaaaaaaaa baaa ba ba ba baaaa. (Cue scrolling text that disappears into space.) Welcome to Galaxy’s Edge Episode I, part of our two part series on Disney’s new additions to Disneyland in California and Hollywood Studios in Florida. We discuss the backstory to the new section, what there is to eat and drink, and how you’re going to spend your money aka merch. Everything seems so immersive and fantastic that you’re going to want to go right away! May the force (of navigating the crowds) be with you! (Honestly…it sounds like it’ll be worth it!) Keep your eyes peeled for next week's episode about the rides and how the Disney Play app will integrate with the park. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 42Celebrating Your Birthday at a Disney Theme Park
Treat Yo’self in Disney In this fun-filled episode, we spitball what we’d love to do if we celebrate—a birthday specifically—just about anything in Disney. Where would we like to go? What would we like to do? What are our favorite experiences or things we typically wouldn’t splurge for? Have fun and dream with us. Also, hey, maybe you have a special something coming up and you need ideas! You’ve found the right place! Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 41Walt Disney World - World of Dreams Tour
If I Were a Rich Girl (Daidle deedle daidle, Daidle daidle deedle daidle dumb) This week, we dream about what we’d do if we had the ability to pay for Disney’s newest VIP experience: the World of Dreams Tour. Essentially, it’s the Lebron James of tours that allows you to do almost anything you want in the parks as long as Disney says yes. Joe and I let our imaginations run wild as we dream up as many fun and crazy experiences as we can that the normal person doesn’t get a chance to do. Now, we just have to figure out where to get $12,000…. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.

It’s cold outside on the Northern Hemisphere, so travel with us to Hawaii, a beautiful paradise with “mischievous” swirling waters, pristine beaches, and its very own Disney Resort! You read that right! Aulani is Disney’s Premium Resort and Spa with tons to do for the whole family. In this pea pod (it’s a thing I’m trying to get started...) we’ll discuss what there is to do and how much it’s going to cost. Put on your sunscreen, dust the cobwebs off your lounge chair, relax, and learn about this amazing resort! Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 38Kingdom Hearts III
Happy What-should-be-a-national-holiday Day. (Seriously, who wants to go to work after watching the Superb Owl 🦉?) Also, welcome to all of our new listeners who unwittingly heard our Superb Owl spot and felt compelled to download this amazing podcast. This week, despite having other plans, we followed our Hearts and decided to discuss SquareEnix’s much-anticipated release of Kingdom Hearts 3, a video game that takes place in the Disney universe. Join Sora, Donald, Goofy, and many others as they try to prevent the worlds from falling into the wrong hands. Check out the game’s amazing graphics and fantastic use of Disney characters. If you’re a fan of Disney and like video games, this is a game I’d definitely check out. But first, let us get you up-to-date on all you need to know before playing. 😉 Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 37Walt Disney World VIP Tours
There’s always something to do in Disney World, no matter how many times you’ve gone. But have you ever felt like you needed to pack more into a short period of time? (Answer: always) Have you ever dreamed of having your own cast member escort you around the park and get you into the hottest rides? Or maybe the food is more your thing. Wouldn’t it be nice to see the behind-the-scenes machinations of Disney Parks food prep and while you’re at it, try some park favs along with a new experimental concoction? This week we talk about the many VIP tours offered by the parks on a scale from pretty cool to Lebron James-style ballin’. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.

Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 35Previewing 2019
This new year is full of so many amazing Disney developments and this week we talk about them all. (Okay, I’m sure we missed things, but bear with us.) Disney’s killin’ it with sequels this year- Frozen 2, Avengers: End Game, Star Wars Episode 9- and a few new, exciting movies like Captain Marvel. Speaking of Star Wars, holy 🐄 Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens this year!!! Ahhhh!!!! Plus, we talk about taxidermied lions cats and start the rumor that whoever wins the Star Wars Rival Run will get early access to Galaxy’s Edge- it certainly won’t be us. Plus we adopt a new tag line: Enchanted Ears Podcast: Settin’ the Bar Low Since 2018. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.

Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 33Peak Disney 2018
Happy holidays! It’s been quite an amazing year! In this final episode of 2018, we recap our 2018 Disney highlights and discuss what we’re looking forward to most in 2019. Quality, yet again, is really the focal point here. It’s incredible what Disney does with consistency...they just make it look so EASY to produce greatness. Joe introduces the phrase audience-goer into the vernacular and we do a brief review of a non-Disney product, Aquaman, which we saw on Saturday. (If you go see it, record how many times they steal lines from The Lion King to reiterate that Jason Momoa...I mean Arthur Curry...is the “one true king.” I think I counted at least three.) Anyway, thanks for listening and helping us get this podcast off the ground! We’re looking forward to what 2019 has to bring! 😁 Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 32Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Happy Birthday, Mickey!! 🎂🎈On this week’s episode, our main topic is Mickey’s 90th Birthday Spectacular on ABC. We discuss our highlights, and lowlights, and marvel at some of Mickey’s many amazing accomplishments. In addition to the show, we discuss what we thought of Ralph Breaks the Internet (hint: stop reading this and get thee to a movie theater) and my surprise, Lion King themed 30th birthday. Speaking of The Lion King, OF COURSE, we talk about the Thanksgiving drop of the live action trailer. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 29Daredevil Season 3/Marvel Netflix Universe
Welcome to our most MARVELous episode yet! To honor Stan Lee’s amazing life, we dedicate this whole episode to the Netflix Marvel Televisic (totally not a word in case you were wondering) Universe. This episode doubles as our love letter to Daredevil, our first love and muse. Don’t worry if you like the other shows. We talk about them, too (a little). Also, we speculate what will happen once Disney+, Disney’s streaming system, comes out. Parents be warned, we do discuss some graphic violence from the shows’ heroes and villains. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 28Ralph Breaks the Internet Prepisode
n preparation for Disney’s release of Ralph Breaks the Internet (out November 21), we watched Wreck It Ralph again. In this episode, we remind ya’ll about what happens in the first movie and highlight some of the high points of the original concept. We also predict what we think Disney should emphasize in this larger-than-life concept where literally all of human existence and every meme ever created is fair game. Will Disney be able to keep control with such an over abundance of possible pop culture references? Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 27The Pixar Theory
I don’t like to pick favorites, but this is one of my favorite episodes we’ve done so far. We’re so excited to tell you about the Pixar Theory this week. What is the Pixar Theory exactly? It might be confusing and a little crazy, but this theory ties all of the Pixar flicks together in the same universe and under a unifying theme. Plus we discuss Ed Catmull’s retirement. Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 26Greatest Disney Animated Sidekicks
Most of them are cute. A lot of them are fuzzy. All of them are awesome! This week we discuss some of our favorite Disney sidekicks. From gorillas to chameleons to genies, Disney’s thought of it all. We categorize and discuss what makes a truly great sidekick (hint: it’s not big eyes and an adorable face, although that helps). Also, we propose Enchanted Ears podcast bingo, a game where you as the listener can try to win depending on whether we mention our favorite topics of conversation that week or not. Did I mention my job? Get your stamper. Did Joe say his favorite phrase, “We have another great one for you this week?” Put a stamp on the page. From Aladdin Disneybounding as Dopey to solar panels to price hikes to the possible closure of Spaceship Earth, we cover a lot of ground in this episode. Also, we answer some fun listener questions. Ep 23Disney Two Truths and a Lie
We don’t go to trivia night anymore, but we certainly would if it was Disney Trivia! So this week, play along to our game of two truths and a lie. Who will reign supreme? And by supreme, I mean just a little better at lying than the other person...and there’s always next time. Not bitter. We discuss hidden Mickeys, voice acting, original names of Disney Parks, which toys were and were not considered for Toy Story, etc. Also, there’s something about a villains board game, but I don’t want to talk about it here, you’ll just have to listen and see. 😏 Mentioned in the Episode -Disney Villainous Board Game -Lilo and Stitch live action movie Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.

Mentioned in the Episode -Walt Disney World ticket price increase -Which Disney park we would want to live in -Ideal trip length for your next Walt Disney World vacation Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 21Disney Decade - 1920s
This week we begin our Disney Decades series with the Roaring 20s, a time when people spent out the wazoo and men had never heard of hair gel or used tar to tame their crazy locks (unsuccessfully). #alternativefacts During this time, Walt Disney experiences difficulty between bankruptcy and “Bad Blood” Taylor Swift/Katy Perry-level fights, reminding us all that failure paves the road to success. (That is unless your failure is the failure to do a good Mickey Mouse or Goofy impression. In that case, give up, you’re scaring the kids.) We keep the singing to a minimum again this week, but struggle to not make a Hamilton reference every five minutes. But it is true, all conflicts should be settled by rap battles. In other news, we had so much Disney news this week that it’s hard to remember it all. We hope you enjoy learning about early Disney as much as we did. Mentioned in the Episode -Disney's streaming service -The birth of Mickey Mouse -Disney's Laugh - O - Grams -Disney World update and rumors Check us out on Facebook or submit a question/topic for us to discuss on a future episode.
Ep 20Best Disney Animated Movie Soundtrack
“Be Our Guest” this week, as we discuss our favorite Disney soundtracks in the hopes of crowning the Best Disney Soundtrack of All. It was a tough battle, but one hit-filled chart-topper ascends the throne to claim its rightful place! Will we decide we’ve never “Had a Friend Like [Aladdin]”? Toss aside our inhibitions and “Let It Go” with Frozen? Will we dive down and go “Under the Sea” with The Little Mermaid? With Disney, you can’t really go wrong! Although this episode is Hemsworth-free, we talk about Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson yet again and reassert that he can do no wrong. In further news, the USA has apparently annexed 22 more states! I, the Great #angellerthefortuneteller , forsee a great listening experience in your future! This is what you get when we spend all weekend home improving...lots of singing and tangents. Warning: this episode contains Joe and Angela attempting to sing. (We are not responsible for any ear bleeding it may cause.) It also has Jane the Virgin spoilers for season 2. It might be a good idea to say what this episode is about, huh? Three words: Aladdin the Musical. Go see it. Take your kids. Take your dog. Take everybody cuz it’s a great musical up in here. Also randomly mentioned: crystal ball heads, glitter!, and the Disney Broadway Challenge (name subject to change). Join us for this fun episode of highs and...mostly highs. Ep 17Ten Signs You're Addicted to Disney
On this week’s episode, we see who’s a bigger Disney (Parks) addict and find out Joe needs to get a new cohost. That is until Angela gets Hei Hei tattooed on her arm. We also discuss favorite Disney movies by state (The Lion King for the win!). Amazingly, Angela manages to record despite her peppermint fire mustache which is still better than Chris Evan’s beard in Avengers Infinity War no matter what Joe says. Chris, don’t hide that jaw bro. It’s one of your best features. Stubble or clean shaven. Boo! Bet we didn’t scare you! This week we talk about the very not scary Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween. In this episode, we explain what it is, when you can buy tickets, how much it costs, what cool and unique extras Disney offers, and we don’t miss an opportunity to talk about the food. Angela gets on a soapbox (shaped like Pride Rock) about Disney needing to include Scar in their celebration. We also suggest clever ways to get around paying over $40 for dessert for your children. The only thing scary about this episode and the party, in general, is how much money you could potentially spend. Ep 15The Most Underrated & Overrated Rides at the Magic Kingdom
Well, hello there, friends! This week we have fun talking about the most overrated and underrated Magic Kingdom rides. We make it through maybe 25 minutes without mentioning The Rock, probably a podcast first. We also learn that Angela’s memory doesn’t even extend back 10 minutes...I kid you not, she forgot what she was writing before she finished writing this sentence. She also likes to write in the third person sometimes but promises she’s mentally sound. (Promise is a strong word. She believes she’s mostly mentally sound on the best days.) Buckle up and join us for this fun, short episode and try not to hate us too much if we dish on one of your favs. We do not recommend making your own Space Mountain despite our hairbrained idea to do exactly that. We start out talking about Disney stunt robots and their potential in the Disney parks (and Joe sucks up some more to our future robot overlords).
