27. Pivot Your Perspective
When life gives us lemons we are given two choice; we can eat those lemons and be fixated on the sour and sometimes unpleasant taste, or, we can take those lemons and create lemonade, something much sweeter and much more enjoyable. How we react to the taste of those lemons is completely dependent on the way we choose to consume them. So how is this in any way relevant to today's episode? Life's going to give us lemons from time to time, and when I say lemons, I am referring to the many obstacles, challenges and non-ideal situations that are inevitable in our great lives. We don't necessarily have control over what we experience, but we do have control over how we choose to react. We have all been guilty of it before, saying the whole; I am going to start eating healthier, I am going to start going to the gym, I am going to start that business, BUT... I am going to start next year, next month or next week. Why is it that people are constantly pushing their goals aside until the new year, a fresh month, the next week or even a new day? And why is it that the day people choose to 'make a change' is never actually the day they start doing it? This podcast will help you figure out whats holding you back from your goals and will help teach you how to overcome whatever fears and hesitations are getting in your way.
