How I Achieved Breakthrough Results Without Working Harder

You're eating a healthy diet, you're exercising regularly, and you're doing your best to manage stress. So why aren't you feeling better yet?! If this is you, I was in your shoes not too long ago. I always prided myself on being disciplined and working hard, yet my results were not matching up with the efforts I was putting in. And this applied to different areas of my life – especially my health and my business. I worked with a mentor who taught me something that completely changed the way I looked at my behavior and the action I was taking in my life. And that's exactly what I share with you in this Mind Your Health episode. In short, if we're not seeing the results we want, we need to shift our IDENTITY and the beliefs we hold. The solution to getting the results we want is NOT taking more action or different action. The solution is taking aligned action by showing up as the version of ourselves who already has our ideal outcomes and desires. If you're confused by what this means, that's okay! This took me a long time to understand, but once I got it, everything changed and I started getting results in my health and life with EASE. And when you tune into this episode, I'll help you do just that. By listening to this episode, you'll discover: - What "identity" is and where it develops from - How to uncover your identity and beliefs that create "a glass ceiling", preventing you from improving your health and life no matter how hard you try - Steps you can take to shift your identity and take aligned action that's actually effective Be sure to subscribe to our podcast and YouTube channel so you never miss an episode of the Mind Your Health Show! Take Control of Your Health: 5 Simple, Yet Overlooked Tips

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that relying on doctors, experts, or specialists to figure out the answer to your symptoms will only keep you in a cycle of sickness. How do I know that? With my recent struggles with kidney failure, it's been crucial for me to just find a path forward every single day, even on my hardest days. But it's been nearly impossible to get a straightforward answer from my medical team. If you've been stuck in the healthcare system, then you know how specialized it is. And this message is for those who have gone from specialist to specialist, or your labs don't match up with how you're feeling, so you walk away with less than satisfactory answers. Each practitioner can either talk to you about the specific organ or body part that's being affected, or refer you to another specialist if you have questions about another organ or body part that is out of their scope of practice. So it's now crystal clear to me that our doctors' role is to MANAGE our symptoms. But it's OUR role to BUILD our own health. If you want to take control of your health once and for all, you have to become your best health advocate. And in this Mind Your Health episode, I share 5 guaranteed ways you can start to build your health back up – but they're likely not what you'd expect. Sometimes the answers are right under our nose, but we're too busy looking for the most complex solutions. Frustrated By the Endless Cycle of Ineffective Wellness Approaches?

If you're like most people who struggle with irritating symptoms that they just can't figure out, whether it's gut issues like bloating and constipation, chronic fatigue, stubborn weight gain, foggy brain, etc., maybe you've gotten stuck on what I call the "hamster wheel" of ineffective health and wellness solutions. I've been there too – going from doctor to doctor or expert to expert, or searching for the next answer, whether that's a diet, supplement, medication, treatment or program. I can't even tell you how many books I've read on health or how many hours I've researched my symptoms on the internet. And maybe these various approaches have provided some relief, but ultimately the symptoms come right back. OR you end up having new symptoms that you're left to address. Does the cycle ever end?! Well let me tell you…I learned a lot in my recent experience with kidney failure. Sometimes the experts we were conditioned to look to don't always have the answers. And how can they? Outside of your symptoms and the specific body parts or organs associated with your symptoms, they know very little about the rest of your life… …your home life, your relationships, your stressors (including stress about your health, your finances, your family, your work). ALL of which affects your nervous system regulation. And guess what? Your nervous system is the control center for every single function within your body. In other words, your body function is controlled by YOU (via your nervous system), yet we are conditioned to look for an answer OUTSIDE of us. And if you're starting to think this is a broken strategy…it is. If you're serious about eliminating your symptoms and getting off the hamster wheel of ineffective health approaches, then this episode is for you. By listening to this episode, you'll discover: ➡️ Why the medical system's role is to manage disease, NOT to create health ➡️ How your nervous system is influenced by YOU, not by supplements, diets, exercise, treatments, or programs that are outside of you ➡️ The exact steps you can take to regulate your nervous system to cause EASE in your body, versus DIS-EASE that leads to symptoms and sickness If you haven't listened already, click here to check out last week's episode on "Your Symptom Root Cause Might Be Something You Can't See, Measure, or Test". Your Symptom Root Cause Might Be Something You Can't See, Measure, or Test

If you've ever been confused about your symptoms and you know there's something that's not quite right with you, yet your doctors just shrug their shoulders because your labs come back "normal", then this episode is for you. I have a unique perspective when it comes to the medical system because I've not only studied various health disciplines, including Psychology, Nutrition, and Physical Therapy, but I've been a patient with complicated health issues that cause doctors to scratch their heads. And when my labs and data don't match up with what they've studied or experienced in their practice, they're unable to provide me with any solutions...which doesn't help me as the patient and I'm left to figure things out on my own. I started to recognize that emotional events that caused distress and unease in my life, like an unhealthy marriage and difficulties with a family member, were directly correlated to flare ups in my health. And while the doctors can provide me with lots of knowledge and data about my labs and symptoms, they don't see me as a WHOLE person, failing to consider my home life, relationships, stressors, patterns, triggers...all of which influence my lab results and data. This is when I realized that health is something only I can create for myself, rather than relying on "experts" to figure it out for me. So if you've gone from practitioner to practitioner and continue to leave with very little answers and solutions for your health concerns, it's time for you to take a different approach. In this episode, you'll discover: ➡️ My personal experience with both conventional and holistic medicine, and the insights I gained from the practitioner perspective and the patient perspective. ➡️ The difference between YOUR role and your doctor's role in your healthcare, and how to identify a good practitioner that's invested in your well-being. ➡️ 3 questions I ask all my patients to uncover the true root cause of their issues. ➡️ How to uncover unease in your life that might be contributing to your symptoms, and practical tools to help you cultivate self-awareness so that YOU become your best health expert. The Holistic Healing Path: From Doubtful to Transformed

This week's Mind Your Health podcast is a special one. I interviewed my colleague and friend Aaron, who is a successful entrepreneur. He's special because it took many years for him to finally understand the "root" cause of his mysterious symptoms and go within to uncover the hidden traumas that many of us unknowingly struggle with. When traumas and emotional events happen to us throughout our life, the effects of these events become "stuck" in our nervous system and influence the outcomes in our lives, including our health. Whether it's a breakup, divorce, the death of a loved one, job loss, financial struggles, family issues, etc., we all experience losses and hardships, which makes us all human. Yet even though the event has passed, so many of us hold onto the memory of it, which unconsciously determines our future. And this is why many people tend to "relive" the past over and over again. This is why I consider Yoga a powerful tool to heal ourselves from the inside-out because it reflects our mind back to us, allowing us to process, metabolize, and let go of circumstances and events that don't serve our well-being. Being aware of our tendencies to stay stuck in the past or project fear onto the future keeps us in a loop of suffering and misery. You don't want to miss this powerful episode where we uncover the depths of the human mind with authenticity and vulnerability to find our inner power. I hope you enjoy, and please leave us a comment if you resonate – we want to hear from you! Is Hormonal Imbalance Causing Your Weight Gain?

Hormones are chemical messengers that impact your overall health and metabolism, and hormones play a huge role in weight loss. Your Childhood Trauma Can Affect Your Health

We have aspects of ourselves that we are "aware" (conscious) of, and we also have aspects of ourselves that we are "unaware" (subconscious) of. But did you know that the subconscious parts of you actually dictate your self image and how you see yourself? And how we see ourselves dictates our abilities and what we are capable of. This is significant because while most of us think we are aware and in control over what we say and do, a more substantial part of us may be sabotaging our very efforts, especially when it comes to our health, and this can negatively affect the results we're trying to create for ourselves. And this all happens without us even being aware of it! 🤯 So what creates this subconscious "script" which dictates our beliefs and behaviors? Often, it forms in childhood as a result of various emotional experiences we had, positive or negative. These experiences become the "baseline" by which we live the rest of our lives. In this episode of the Mind Your Health Podcast, Dr. Connie shares her childhood conditioning and trauma that was revealed to her later in life, and how the subconscious beliefs she formed early on led her to create an identity that silently told her she was not good enough, which led her to abuse her body and mind through overexercise and over dieting, just to feel good enough about herself. In this episode, you'll discover... ✅ The effect of your parents' or caregivers' beliefs and values on how you live your life today ✅ Subtle forms of trauma that we tend to overlook, yet have a tremendous effect on our mental and physical health ✅ Tools you can use to help you look within and become aware of generational patterns and beliefs that are keeping you from achieving the health and life you want to have If you struggle with feeling good about yourself, or just can't seem to achieve the health results you want despite everything you try, this may drastically change your perspective. Hormones & Hunger: How Your Emotions Affect Weight Loss

Do you feel like you are eating all the right things, but still can't get your weight to budge? In today's episode of Mind Your Health Podcast, my team and I gathered the most frequently asked questions about weight loss that I get as a Registered Dietitian, including the complex relationship between our emotions, self-perception, and changing eating habits. Whether we realize it or not, our identity and the beliefs ingrained in us from childhood about beauty and self-worth shape our confidence and can lead to negative self-talk, where we subconsciously diminish our own value. This negative internal dialogue can have profound effects on our actions, including our eating habits. And of course... stress, an inevitable part of life, also plays a crucial role in weight management. It triggers the release of hormones like cortisol, which can lead to stress eating, a common coping mechanism for emotional discomfort. And what about the specific foods that contribute to weight gain? It's not just about quantity, but also the quality and types of food we consume. These topics, along with our emotions, ranging from stress to sadness, can influence our eating habits, often leading us to seek comfort in food. I even tap into what emotional weight in personal relationships and friendships can look like/ Recognizing the emotions that trigger overeating is crucial in addressing weight gain. Today's episode underscores the complex aspects of weight loss and the need to understand the emotional and psychological factors that influence our eating habits. Tune in today if you're interested in... 🌿 How negative self-talk impacts eating habits and weight gain 🌿 Understanding why stress triggers hormonal eating responses 🌿 Why emotions and hormones significantly affect weight... and how to overcome this. ENCORE: Detox For A Healthy Mind & Body - Start 2024 In Alignment

Most people believe DETOX means getting on a restrictive diet, taking some supplements, or drinking a special juice or tea in order to cleanse the body. But true, effective detox actually involves much more than this. Our bodies have natural detox processes – our liver, kidneys, lungs, gut, and skin work hard everyday to eliminate toxins and wastes that don't serve us. And while there are ways to optimize the functioning of these organs, a detox program cannot be fully beneficial without also detoxing our HABITS (which include stress and emotional triggers). It's important to understand that the autonomic nervous system (which runs subconsciously) is driving our habits and our behaviors. So changing our behaviors without addressing our habits at the subconscious level is like trying to mop up water in a flooded room without first turning off the running faucet. This is why, despite the best intentions and knowledge, many people have a hard time maintaining weight loss, healthy habits, or lasting results. In this episode of the Mind Your Health Podcast, you'll discover: 📌What our detox organs require in order to drive the detox processes in our bodies (which is the reason why most detox programs and cleanses are ineffective) 📌Why your habits are the foundation of a successful detox, and why self awareness is an essential pillar for lasting health changes 📌What you can experience when you learn how to detox your body EFFECTIVELY, including decreased bloating, enhanced digestion, and improved energy 📌Mindfulness practices that promote effective detox and self awareness Want to learn how to detox your mind and body? Take our free "How Toxic Am I" Quiz to find out what factors in your everyday life are attributing to your toxin levels and how to efficiently detox them out of your system! EASE Method: How To Heal Yourself When The Healthcare System Fails You

What is missing in our current healthcare system? Often, healthcare providers fail to address the root issue of what is going on, simply putting a "bandaid" on the patient's physical symptoms. For years, as a practitioner and a patient, I saw and personally suffered from this gap in healthcare, which kept me from feeling better. For many, there is an endless cycle of being sick, feeling okay for a while, then feeling sick again. Why does this happen? Because no one is going deep enough to figure out what the problem is. We are so used to a "pill for every ill" solution or a simple diagnosis that we forget we are a whole being experiencing emotional, spiritual and physical traumas that can create "dis-ease" or imbalance inside of us. With years of experience, piecing together academic and ancient practice, I have come up with the EASE Method. This method lays the foundation for holistic healing in every aspect of your physical and energetic being. The EASE Method is how transformational healing happens, beyond the scope of our current health care system. In this episode, you will learn: ✨ What the EASE Method is and how it came to be ✨ How to apply the EASE Method in your everyday life ✨ Why this method is the foundation for true, integrative healing This method pulls functional medicine and western medicine together in a way that makes sense…using the ancient practice of yoga to cultivate a true way of knowing our bodies from the inside-out. Lately, we have been discussing issues around hormones, the impact of stress, and the intertwined effects they have on our mental and physical well-being. Reflecting on this, I'm drawn to revisit a past episode that stirred up a lot of questions. How to ACTUALLY Balance Your Hormones...Without Toxic Medications Many of you expressed curiosity about the concept of "regulating your hormones," particularly when it comes to introducing medications into the mix. Year after year, I've witnessed an increasing number of women searching for holistic approaches to address hormonal imbalances that they are experiencing, whether it's the mood swings, the unwanted weight or the decreased libido. In this episode, you'll discover: 🧘 How our ENERGY influences our body function, and why Western Medicine labs can be unreliable as a result 🧘 The faulty effects of hormone medication on our gland function and hormone production 🧘 The 7 chakras in the body, the hormones they are associated with, and the impact of chakra imbalance on our hormones 🧘 How to use Yoga and meditation as a tool for balancing chakras so that you can naturally balance hormones to get rid of unwanted symptoms . Stress Eating - How Your Hormones, Weight Gain and Mood Are Connected

In the latest episode of Mind Your Health, I dive into the sensitive topic of stress eating, a behavior many of us might be all too familiar with. Have you ever stopped to wonder what triggers this? Or the toll it might be taking on your mental and physical health? As a registered dietitian, I have seen the ups and downs of what a diet focused culture can bring about in women. This is an issue that's become increasingly pervasive in our modern society: the stress induced by dieting and societal expectations around eating and body image. Stress eating has a relationship with our hormones, mental health, digetsive system and nervous system. This means that weight gain, GI issues, mood and metabolism are all related. Dieting, often brought about by societal pressures to look a certain way, can inadvertently lead to stress eating. When people, most commonly women, feel constrained by rigid dietary rules or the constant scrutiny of societal standards, they may find solace in food as a coping mechanism. The irony is that the very act of dieting, meant to control or reduce weight, can trigger the counterproductive behavior of emotional eating. We are living through the societal lens of eating 'right' with looking 'right.' When we are continually trying to meet these external standards, the joy of eating is overshadowed by guilt, anxiety, and judgment. It seems like "intuitive eating" has become somewhat of a buzz phrase, but what does it mean? Let's tune into what it means to be present and listen to our body's cues… this is how we can foster a healthier relationship with food, free from the chains of societal expectations. Embracing food as nourishment and not an enemy can change the dynamic of eating from stressful to joy. There is so much to unpack here. In this episode, you'll discover: 👉🏼 Where stress eating can come from 👉🏼 How overeating affects your body and mind 👉🏼 Tips on how to create a loving relationship with food 👉🏼 What eating in a state of gratitude really means . Stress has profound impacts on our self-confidence. But why does this occur? At the heart of this lies our "monkey brain" – a primal part of our cognitive function that's wired for survival and riddled with anxiety. When under stress, our brain instinctively triggers the 'fight or flight' response, which redirects oxygen and energy to our limbs, preparing us for quick action. While this may have been crucial for our ancestors when facing predators, in today's world, it hampers our ability to think clearly, make confident decisions, and show up as our most authentic selves. In our current day to day, our stressors look more like being on time, managing our kids and being in traffic. When we are in this state, essential systems like our digestive organs and even our brain don't receive the necessary oxygen for optimal function. This physiological shift not only clouds judgment but also erodes our self-assurance because we simply can't think clearly. So, how do we break free from this cycle? The answer lies in mindfulness. By being acutely aware of our values and monitoring our thoughts, we can slowly train our brain to respond differently. In this episode, you will discover: 🌟How lack of confidence can affect your daily life 🌟Where unexpected stress can come from 🌟Practical tips you can use TODAY to begin to alleviate your stress. . How To Use Your Breath To Reduce Stress

In today's episode of The Mind Your Health Podcast, I am getting into a topic that affects us every second of every day: breathing. We breathe in; we breathe out. But... have you ever stopped to consider the physiological effects that breathing has on our bodies, especially when it comes to stress? Breath is power. It's not just the process of taking in oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide. Breathing can get us both in and out of fight or flight mode. Deep, conscious breathing can stimulate a calming domino effect in our bodies, helping to counterbalance stress and evoke calmness. When we breathe deeper, more oxygen in our blood translates to improved cell function, enhanced thinking and focus, and better energy metabolism. By optimizing oxygen levels, we equip our bodies to better combat the wear and tear of daily stressors. I hope this episode WAKES YOU UP and helps you realize the power of breath. Adrenal fatigue is a term that's gained momentum in the functional medicine space, but what does it really mean for our day-to-day existence? When persistently taxed, they can lead to what's popularly termed 'adrenal fatigue', impacting everything from our energy levels to our mood, hormones and even our metabolism. How Yoga Can Balance Your Hormones and The Connection With Chakras

In today's episode, we are tying in two important previous episodes together (linked below) to understand just how CHAKRAS, HORMONES and YOGA connect. In the complex network of our bodies, every cell plays a role, and each function has its importance. Chakras are like energy hubs located along our spine, helping us understand our overall well-being. Each chakra, from our lower back up to the top of our head, connects to particular glands in our body. That's where chakras and hormones come together. So, where does Yoga fit into this? Yoga and breathing techniques are designed not just for physical flexibility and movement, but for energetic realignment. When we engage in specific yoga poses targeting a certain chakra, we stimulate the associated gland. Each gland corresponds to a specific hormone and physical, emotional and spiritual symptom. In this episode, you will learn… 🧘🏻 Which hormone and gland correlates with each specific Chakra 🧘🏻 The symptoms associated with each unbalanced Chakra 🧘 How Yoga can rebalance your energy centers Previous MUST WATCH episodes: How To Actually Balance Your Hormones… WITHOUT Toxic Medications Part 1 https://www.youtube.com/live/ij4BoIRtxaQ?si=6p_L9BZHr8is81qX How To Actually Balance Your Hormones… WITHOUT Toxic Medications Part 2 https://www.youtube.com/live/NuN0RvA1jL8?si=paAn4vCUKNFB7KMe . Beyond Book Smarts: How Applied Knowledge Drives Change

Today, we're diving deep into the idea that real-world experience often outweighs any formal certificate hanging on your wall. It's not just about what you know, but how you apply that knowledge in tangible ways. Knowledge, in its purest form, is what fills textbooks and lectures, and is often seen as the foundation of education. However, having knowledge doesn't necessarily mean you can use it effectively in real-world situations. Applied knowledge, on the other hand, is the ability to take what you know and use it in practical contexts. It's the bridge between theory and action. While knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, applied knowledge is using that tomato appropriately in a recipe, demonstrating that understanding something and effectively using it are two very different skills and it's the KEY component to growing in your personal and professional life. In this episode, you will discover… 🌿 Why my years of academic experience couldn't teach me how to be a practitioner 🌿 What applied knowledge is and how to use it in your day to day 🌿 The power of personal experience 🌿 How to use applied knowledge to adapt and grow 🌿 The connection between applied knowledge and Yoga . Yoga, Anatomy and the Art of Inner Harmony

When we think of Yoga, we find ourselves thinking about the workout, maybe even the serenity it gave us for an hour or so. There is so much more that Yoga can offer. Yoga benefits our body and mind in many ways that we might not even realize what's happening inside of our body when we practice. There is a deep connection between our physiology, nervous system and mind that is heavily influenced by our breath and movement with Yoga. This happens when we practice properly and by not over exerting ourselves because we think that a Yoga pose has to look a certain way. Tapping into this connection occurs when we fully align during our practice, by rebalancing our chakras and intentionally moving, breathing and challenging ourselves. In this episode, you'll discover: 🌿 The neurological connection between our skeletal system and mind, and how Yoga promotes this connection for optimal wellbeing 🌿 How chakras relate to our glands, and how we can improve our wellbeing by balancing our chakras 🌿 What the 8 Limbs of Yoga are and why it is important to understand them when practicing yoga 🌿 How nutrition plays a role in our yoga practice and our day to day mindfulness Understanding just how our physical being impacts our energy, hormones and mental health is a part of practicing Yoga intentionally. . How to ACTUALLY Balance Your Hormones...Without Toxic Medications (PART ONE)

This episode of the Mind Your Health Show is Part 1 of a two part series! The aim of Functional Yoga Medicine™ is to integrate the best practices of Eastern and Western Medicine to provide you with a complete and holistic approach to your healing so that you can effectively get rid of unwanted symptoms. Hormones are chemical messengers in the body that communicate with one another and command our organs and body systems to function. But our hormones are heavily influenced by our energy or state of being. When something feels off, Western Medicine doctors can test our hormones, but they typically only test and address singular hormones, then prescribe medication for one hormone. Not to mention, these lab results can change dramatically at any moment, depending on our state of being. But here's the truth: because all our hormones are interconnected and communicate with each other, it's not effective to address just ONE hormone. So how can we address and balance all hormones in the body? By balancing our chakra system. Chakras, a foundational pillar of Eastern Medicine philosophy, are vortexes of energy in the body that correspond to and influence specific glands and hormones. Unless we address our state of being and balance the energy of our chakras, our hormones stand no chance at achieving balance. In this episode, you'll discover: 🧘 How our ENERGY influences our body function, and why Western Medicine labs can be unreliable as a result 🧘 The faulty effects of hormone medication on our gland function and hormone production 🧘 The 7 chakras in the body, the hormones they are associated with, and the impact of chakra imbalance on our hormones 🧘 How to use Yoga and meditation as a tool for balancing chakras so that you can naturally balance hormones to get rid of unwanted symptoms Want to get started? Stress Unveiled: Decoding the Relationship Between Cortisol, Hormone Dysfunction, and Unwanted Symptoms

Most of my patients come to me with mysterious symptoms that their doctors just can't seem to figure out. Despite their normal lab results, many of them struggle with chronic fatigue, aches and pains, digestive discomfort issues, weight gain, and sleep problems on a daily basis. They start to question what's wrong with them, as their doctors can't do much other than prescribe medications. They try to change their diet, exercise more, and take supplements, but nothing seems to help. The one commonality I've found with all my patients is elevated STRESS levels. So in this episode of the Mind Your Health podcast, I want to dive into the topic of stress and cortisol (the body's main stress hormone), and its impact on all other hormones in the body, which simply put, are chemical messengers in the body that signal our organs to function properly. Without proper hormone regulation and function, our bodies can't do what they're supposed to do, which leads to undesirable symptoms that interfere with our day to day life. In this episode, you'll discover: 📌The impact of stress on your physical health and body, and a hidden type of stress that we tend to dismiss or ignore 📌How your HPA axis (controlled by your nervous system) works when you experience stress to impact your digestion, immune system, mood and emotions, and metabolism 📌Signs and symptoms of a dysregulated, stressed-out nervous system 📌An effective tool you can use to start to regulate your nervous system to balance your hormones so that you can get rid of your unwanted symptoms Click here to sign up for our FREE "Hormone Harmony: 7-Day Hormone Reset" program https://am.drconniecheung.com/chakra-charge. . Ep. 312: Tuning In: Unlocking Your Body's Wisdom for YOUR Perfect Diet

In the last episode of the Mind Your Health Podcast, Dr. Connie discussed the importance of mindfulness and awareness when it comes to eating for gut healing. If you haven't listened to last week's episode yet, you can listen by clicking here: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ep-311-why-following-somebody-elses-diet-plan-will/id1297924924?i=1000616939894 Meditation is an excellent way to cultivate mindfulness and awareness by helping you tune inwards so that your mind can "occupy" your body. In today's busy world where there's so much fighting for our attention, many of us tend to be "stuck" in our heads. When this happens, we completely ignore the signals and sensations our bodies are constantly sending us about what it needs, and instead we look to everyone else to tell us what to eat – doctors, dietitians, the internet, influencers on social media, etc. Not only that, but dieting in itself is stressful! This stress puts your body in "fight or flight" mode, but our bodies need to be in "rest and digest" mode for optimal digestion, absorption, detoxification, and elimination. In this episode, Dr. Connie will take you through a guided meditation to help you cultivate body awareness and shift your energy to promote optimal digestion and gut function. . And continuing to look for nutrition advice outside of yourself means that you continue to ignore the messages and signals your body sends you about what it needs. Those familiar with Yoga know that it is excellent for mental wellbeing because of the meditative nature of the practice. Ep. 302: TOOLS For Your Health Are Only As Effective As The PERSON Using Them

What are tools for your health? Diets, supplements, treatments, programs, and even medications, doctors, and other experts are all just TOOLS we can utilize to help us feel better. But the effectiveness and outcome of these tools is dependent on YOU, the person using the tools. That's why they say healing is an inside job. If you've ever tried any of these tools to feel better and get rid of any symptoms, it's likely the tools helped to some degree, but maybe you had trouble sticking to it or the tool lost its effect after a while. Why? Well, these tools rarely address the person themselves, and the inner limiting blocks we all have, like limiting beliefs, self sabotaging behaviors, and negative patterns. Most of us aren't even aware of these limiting blocks. Listen to this episode as Dr. Connie shares exactly how you can enhance the effectiveness of your health endeavors so that you can address your symptoms once and for all. In this episode, you'll discover: ✅Why the "quick fix" mentality fails our health ✅How multiple variables, including your genetic makeup, lifestyle, gut microbiome, sleep and exercise habits, and age play a role in every diet, supplement, or treatment you try ✅A powerful solution to bring awareness to your inner blocks that prevent you from experiencing optimal health Ready to learn MORE about using Yoga to regulate your nervous system and heal your gut so you can get rid of your symptoms for good?
