Big BIG catch up since my last chat with Nedd from episode #150 before he set off on his record breaking run across Australia. This man needs no introduction but if you've been sleeping under a bloody rock this year, this is a must listen! Nedd made headlines when he ran 50 marathons in 50 days to raise money for the Red Cross’ efforts to tackle homelessness around Australia. That incredible feat clearly didn't satisfy Nedd as he geared up for an even bigger challenge where he plans to break a world-record 3800km over 43 days that will see him run just shy of 100km every day, for some 43 days. To drive the point home, it's the equivalent of two marathons a day... and guess what, he did it. Nedd's one of the most in demand running machines in the country at the moment so for Nedd to come back and give us all the juiciest details from his record run, we are very grateful. Simon Black is a former AFL player with the Brisbane Lions. Simon was a key part of the famed midfield during the 2001-2003 Premiership teams of the Brisbane Lions dynasty. He's a 3 x Premiership player, Brownlow and Norm Smith Medallist, 3x All Australian, and Brisbane Lion captain. Really he's a name that needs no introduction.
