104: Something is Always Better Than Nothing & Preventing Overwhelm When Starting Something New

I'm so pumped to have you back for another episode of Do Life Big! Today’s episode is going to be short, sweet, and packed with some serious value. I decided to record this one after I announced that my husband and I are starting the 75 Hard Program. If you haven’t caught that bonus episode, go listen to #103 first! So, here’s the deal. Lately, I’ve been hearing from so many of you who are feeling overwhelmed, trying to juggle all the things—kids, work, health, you name it. It’s easy to get caught up in that all-or-nothing mentality, where if we can’t do it all, we end up doing nothing. But let me tell you, it doesn’t have to be that way! That’s why today, I’m sharing 5 simple ways to protect your inner peace, especially when life gets chaotic: Start Small: Forget the all-or-nothing mentality. Just start with one tiny change—like drinking more water or moving your body a little each day. Something is always better than nothing. Pair New Habits with Old Ones: Got a good habit already? Use it to build a new one! If you drink tea every night, why not use that time to read a book or listen to something uplifting? Focus on Progress, Not Perfection: Life isn’t going to go exactly as planned, and that’s okay! Celebrate the small wins, no matter how tiny they seem. Live in the Gain, Not the Gap: Stop comparing yourself to where you think you should be. Instead, focus on how far you’ve come and celebrate the progress you've made. Surround Yourself with Positivity: Whether it’s a supportive Facebook group (like ours!), uplifting podcasts, or daily affirmations, fill your life with things that lift you up. We’ve got to ditch that all-or-nothing mindset and start embracing the little wins. So grab your cup of tea, and let’s get into how you can start making those small but mighty changes that will keep your inner peace intact. Can’t wait for you to hear this one! 102: 7 Tips to Reduce Stress in Your Life

Welcome back to another episode of Do Life Big! Today, I'm diving into something we all deal with—stress. With the kids back in school and summer flying by, I figured it was the perfect time to share some practical tips for handling stress effectively. 🌟 So, let’s talk about stress. It’s something we can’t avoid, but how we manage it can make all the difference. I recently heard about a fascinating study linking how we view stress to our longevity. Turns out, those who see stress as a normal part of life and learn to manage it tend to live longer than those who try to avoid it. Here are seven tips to help you reduce stress in your life: 1. Breathe Deeply 🌬️ When stress hits, take a moment to focus on your breathing. Deep breaths can slow your heart rate and calm your mind. Try it first thing in the morning or even during your shower—just five to seven deep breaths can make a difference. 2. Practice Gratitude 🙏 Shift your focus from what’s stressing you out to what you’re thankful for. What you focus on grows, so paying attention to your blessings can really shift your mindset. 3. Take a Walk 🚶‍♀️Step outside and get some fresh air, even if it’s just for 10 minutes. Being in nature helps lower your cortisol levels and gives you a break from what’s stressing you. 4. Write It Out ✍️ Got a million thoughts swirling in your head? Write them down. Putting your worries on paper can make them seem more manageable and help you find solutions more easily. 5. Watch Your Caffeine Intake ☕ Caffeine can speed up your heart rate and increase stress. If you notice stress peaking after a coffee or energy drink, it might be time to cut back or switch to a less stimulating option. 6. Laugh It Off 😂 Put on a comedy show or call a friend who always makes you laugh. Laughter lowers cortisol and releases endorphins—those feel-good chemicals in your brain. 7. Listen to Calming Music 🎶 Create a playlist of soothing tunes to help you unwind. Slow, calming music can be a great tool to bring some peace to your day. I hope these tips help you manage stress better. I’d love to hear what strategies you use to handle stress. Drop me a note and let’s add even more solutions to our stress-busting toolkit! Hey there! 101: How to Stop Overthinking in Your Business

Hey there, friends! 🎙️ Welcome back to another episode of Do Life Big. I’m thrilled to have you here with me today. Can you believe it? The kids are heading back to school, and summer’s slipping away faster than ever. Maybe you're feeling the same if you’ve got little ones of your own. Today, I’m diving into a topic that’s been on my mind lately—how to stop overthinking in your business! 🧠💭 Have you ever found yourself caught in a loop, endlessly analyzing a decision and getting nowhere? 🤔 I totally get it. I’ve been there too! 😵‍💫 I’m sharing a personal story about a time I was paralyzed by overthinking in my own business transition. I knew I needed to pivot away from my health and fitness business into something new, but I was stuck in a cycle of self-doubt and "what ifs." 😓 So, how do we break free from this cycle and move from overthinking to taking action? I’m laying out five steps to help you shift gears: Become Aware 🕵️‍♀️: Notice when you’re overthinking. Just being aware of it can help you start breaking the cycle. Write It Down 📝: Grab a pen and paper and get those swirling thoughts out of your head and onto paper. It helps clear your mind and see things more clearly. Prioritize Tasks ✅: Make a list of the top three to five tasks you need to focus on each day. Prioritizing helps reduce overwhelm and keeps you moving forward. Trust Your Intuition 💫: Learn to listen to that inner voice. Trust your judgment and let it guide your decisions, rather than getting bogged down by what-ifs. Delegate Responsibilities 🙌 : Don’t try to do everything yourself. Delegate tasks so you can focus on what you do best and keep your business moving. Let’s stop overcomplicating things and start taking action today! 🚀 And if you haven’t yet, check out my free 60-second quiz to discover your entrepreneurial persona type and get tailored steps to level up your business. 099: How to Surrender and Let Go of Fear

Welcome back to another episode of Do Life Big! I'm recording this live right now from our mountain home in North Carolina. 🏔️ We just got here the other day, and we’re all excited to spend three weeks soaking up nature, hiking, ziplining, and just unwinding. My favorite part? Sitting on the deck at night with a drink in hand, 🍷 listening to the stream in the backyard under a sky full of stars. 🌌 It’s such a peaceful contrast to Florida’s hustle and bustle. Today’s episode is all about surrendering and letting go of fear. 😌 It's funny how when you surrender, it becomes easier to let go of fear, and vice versa. If you’re someone who’s always trying to control every detail and force things to happen your way, this episode is for you. Do you ever find yourself fighting so hard to make things happen, only to realize it shouldn’t be this hard? 😣 I remember a few years ago, we were trying to buy our first investment property here in North Carolina. I was obsessed with this one log cabin. We put in an offer, but the owner wouldn’t budge on the price. I tried everything, even writing him a heartfelt letter, but nothing worked. 💌 It wasn’t until I decided to let go and trust that the right house would come along that things started to shift. About two weeks later, we found two perfect log cabins. 🏡 We put in an offer, and it was accepted as is, totally furnished. It was so easy and seamless, which was a stark contrast to the struggle with the first cabin. When you let go of control and surrender to what is, life can surprise you in the best ways. ✨ So, what are you fighting in your life right now? What fears are holding you back? It could be money, relationships, health—anything. Fighting these fears only takes away your peace of mind. Surrendering doesn’t mean giving up; it means accepting what is. 🧘‍♀️ It’s about understanding that you can’t control everything and being at peace with that. Next time you feel the urge to control every detail, take a step back. Accept what is, take a deep breath, and let go. 🌿 Remember, everything by my divine right comes to me today in perfect order. Focus on what you can control and let the rest unfold naturally.   Hey there! 098: Tips to Stop Comparing Yourself to Others

In today's Do Life Big Podcast episode, we're tackling a big one: how to stop playing the comparison game. You know the drill – we all fall into this trap, especially with social media constantly in our faces. But here's the kicker: comparison is the thief of joy. We’ve all been there, scrolling through Instagram and suddenly feeling less than because someone else's life looks perfect. But remember, it's just a highlight reel, not the full story. I shared a personal story about seeing these picture-perfect moments online and thinking, "Who has the time for this?" 🤔 It’s important to keep in mind that what we see isn't always reality. Tony Robbins said it best: your life’s quality depends on three decisions you make every second of every day: what you focus on, what it means, and what you're going to do about it. So let’s dive into some conscious steps to break free from comparison: 1️⃣ Act the way you want to feel: Even if it feels forced, faking it till you make it can help rewire your brain. 🌟2️⃣ Get to work: Comparison often means you're not focusing on your own tasks. Head down, hustle up! 💪3️⃣ Identify triggers: Ask yourself what specifically made you feel jealous. There’s usually something deeper to address.🕵️‍♀️4️⃣ Measure progress by how far you've come: Instead of focusing on where you think you should be, celebrate the distance you've already covered. 🎉 Remember, comparison only hinders your growth. Let’s shift our energy towards creating a life filled with abundance and joy! Grab my FREE workbook, Think This, Not That - kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat   Hey there! 097: Tips to Overcome People Pleasing

You know, I’ve been in this weird phase of overthinking and overanalyzing everything. It started about five years ago when my dad almost died from AML, and more recently, knowing several people my age who've passed away from illnesses or cancer. It’s made me rethink a lot about life and how I’ve spent so much of it trying to please others. Growing up, I always tried to please everyone around me. This has been especially challenging over the last decade, but I’ve put so much effort into overcoming it. Even though I like to call myself a recovering people pleaser, those tendencies still creep up sometimes. People-pleasing is wired into us, partly due to societal norms. For girls, it's about being polite and looking your best. For guys, it's about being tough and not showing sensitivity. These ingrained beliefs shape our behavior and our need to be accepted and liked by others. The thing is, people-pleasing isn't just about wanting everyone to like you. It’s about feeling the need to act a certain way to feel safe. And that’s exhausting. So, today, I want to share some tips to help you overcome this. Here are six tips to work through people-pleasing:     Get a therapist or counselor to talk to. 🧠 Smart people have a therapist, and it’s a great starting point. Become aware of when you're prioritizing others' needs over your own. 🧘‍♂️ Just recognizing this behavior is a huge step forward. Practice saying “no” without guilt. 🚫 This was a hard one for me, but it’s crucial to set boundaries and not feel bad about it. Do something that fills your cup and makes you happy. 🌟 Whether it’s a hobby or self-care, reinforcing your own needs is important. Practice speaking up with confidence. 📢 It might be uncomfortable at first, but the more you do it, the easier it gets. Challenge any negative thoughts or beliefs. 🌈 You can download my free workbook, Think This, Not That, at kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat to help rewire your brain and replace negative thoughts with positive ones.     Hey there! 096: 4 Powerful Ways to Break Free from Stress and Be More Present

💡 I’m diving into something really important: how to be more present in our lives. You know, it’s easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, stressing about bills, deadlines, and all those things that pull us away from enjoying the present moment. But why do we let that happen? Why do we let stress and worry steal our joy? Imagine fast-forwarding 30 years from now. You’ve achieved every goal, every dream. But what would you trade to be back here, right now, enjoying this moment fully? That’s the essence of today’s Do Life Big Podcast episode. I’ve identified four powerful ways to help you break free from distractions and overwhelm, and truly be present: Sensory Awareness Exercise 🌳👂: Take a moment to sit outside or in a quiet place. Engage each of your senses for just 30 seconds: What do you see? Hear? Feel? Smell? Taste? It’s a simple but effective way to ground yourself in the present.  Breath Work 🌬️: Practice deep breathing throughout your day. Whether it’s in the shower, during a walk, or just before bed, focusing on your breath helps calm your mind and brings you back to the here and now.  Journaling 📝: Grab a journal and ask yourself, “What’s getting in the way of me being present?” Write down your thoughts. It’s amazing how clarifying your thoughts on paper can help you prioritize what truly matters. Digital Detox 📵🌿: Disconnect from technology, even if just for a few minutes each day. Step outside, observe nature, and let your mind rest from constant stimulation. It’s refreshing and helps you appreciate the simple things. By making these practices part of your daily routine, you’ll feel more grounded, more present, and ultimately happier. Remember, life is happening right now, in this moment. Let’s make the most of it.   Grab my FREE workbook, Think This, Not That - kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat   Hey there! Thanks for listening! ⭐  Help me spread the word about Do Life Big! 095: How to See Things as They Really Are

In this short and sweet Do Life Big Podcast episode, we’re diving into how we can start to think more clearly and get to the truth of what's really happening, rather than living in a distorted reality full of made-up stories that keep us trapped and feeling like victims. 🚫🧠 Have you ever found yourself interpreting something someone said in a way that made you feel awful, only to later realize that wasn’t what they meant at all? 🤔 I definitely have! Let me tell you a story from when I was a new teacher. I remember teaching a lesson and getting observed by my principal. Afterward, he gave me constructive criticism, but in my mind, I twisted it into thinking he believed I was a terrible teacher. That wasn’t the truth at all—it was just a story I made up. 😬📚 We do this all the time. We create these narratives that aren’t based on facts, and they keep us from living our truth and finding freedom. It’s like being inside a jar and not being able to read the label. 🏷️ We need to pull ourselves out, look objectively, and ask, "What’s really happening here?" 🌟 Here are some key points we discussed: Distorted Reality: We often interpret events and comments in a way that isn’t true, creating false narratives in our minds. 🌀 Objective Perspective: It's crucial to step back and look at situations objectively, asking ourselves what the real facts are. 🔍 Ego Interference: Our ego can cloud our judgment, making us feel inadequate or misunderstood. Learning to quiet our ego helps us see the truth. 🤐 Freedom in Truth: By seeking the truth and questioning our thoughts, we can free ourselves from unnecessary suffering and live more authentically. 🕊️ Next time you feel triggered or upset, ask yourself: Is it what someone actually said, or how I interpreted it? What are the facts? This practice of questioning our thoughts and looking for the truth takes effort, but it’s so worth it. The truth really does set us free. 💡 Remember, no one’s perfect, but we’re all here to improve and be the best versions of ourselves. And hey, if you haven’t grabbed my free Think This, Not That workbook, head over to kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat. It’s packed with ways to rewire your mind for success. 📘✨   Hey there! 094: There's No Such Thing as "The Right Time"

Welcome back to another episode of Do Life Big! I am beyond excited to have you here today. This episode is all about the myth of waiting for the "right time." I can’t wait to dive into this because it's been a recurring theme in my life lately, and I know many of you can relate. We often convince ourselves that it’s just not the right time to make a big move—whether it’s starting a business, making a career pivot, or pursuing a passion. We come up with endless reasons to wait. But let’s be real: this is just a way to procrastinate. Our brains are wired to keep us safe, which often means avoiding risk and the potential for failure. Think about it. How many times have you talked yourself out of something because you were afraid of what might happen if it didn’t work out? Fear of failure, fear of judgment from others—these are powerful deterrents. But here’s the thing: you don’t want to look back on your life with regrets, wondering what could have been. I’ve known three people my age who have passed away in the last couple of years. It’s a stark reminder that life is unpredictable and short. This makes it even more crucial to seize the moment. You have to challenge that inner voice that’s holding you back. Instead of feeding yourself excuses about why now isn't the right time, why not tell yourself why now is the best time? Every moment, our minds are creating stories. Let’s create ones that propel us forward. Sure, it’s scary to leave a secure job or start something new, but remember, everyone starts from the beginning. Those successful people you admire? They felt the fear too—they just did it anyway. They trusted the process and believed things would work out. So, my challenge to you is to start telling yourself a new story. One that says, “Now is the right time.” Take that first step, even if it’s small. Trust that you can figure it out as you go. Don’t wait for the perfect moment—it doesn’t exist. If this resonates with you, check out my free workbook, Think This, Not That. It’s packed with tools to help you rewire your mind for success. 093: Ditching Perfectionism: The Road to Six-Figure Success

I hope you’re having an awesome day! 🌟 Today’s Do Life Big Podcast episode is especially for my fellow online entrepreneurs who are stuck in the perfectionism-procrastination trap and feeling stuck at an income plateau. Sound familiar? 🤔 I get it. I've been there!!! Back when I started my first business in network marketing, I had no idea what I was doing. Zero social media presence, no clue about online business – nothing! I just needed to make a few hundred bucks a week to stay home with my kids... 👶👶 Looking back, it’s painful to see how unpolished my early posts and videos were. 😬 But guess what? That’s exactly what helped me grow. I had no time to perfect anything. I just had to get stuff done. In this episode, I share my journey from feeling like a complete newbie to building a multiple-six-figure business. I talk about how my need for this business to succeed overrode my fear of imperfection. The more I put myself out there, the more confidence I built – not the other way around. 091: Unlocking Your Happiness Potential

In today's Do Life Big Podcast episode, we’re diving into something I know we all want more of – happiness! 😊 Yep, this episode is all about unlocking your happiness potential. Who doesn’t want to be happier, right? I’m sure you’re here because you want more happiness, gratitude, and peace in your life. But how do we actually get there? So, let me take you back to my college days. I studied positive psychology and absolutely loved learning about how our brains work when it comes to happiness. There’s a ton of research out there on this, and I’m super excited to share some of it with you. 💡 First off, did you know that happiness is totally subjective? What makes me happy might not be the same for you, and that’s okay. But there are some universal truths we can all use to boost our happiness. Here’s what I want you to know: 1. Practice Daily Gratitude: This one’s a game-changer. Keep a gratitude journal by your bed and jot down three things you’re grateful for every morning. It can be something big or small, like a beautiful sunset or a kind gesture from a friend. This simple habit can rewire your brain to focus on the good stuff. 2. Cultivate Positive Relationships: Surround yourself with people who lift you up. It’s not about having a ton of friends, but having a few deep, meaningful connections. These relationships can seriously boost your happiness and even help you live longer! 3. Choose Happiness: This might sound cliché, but it’s true – you have to choose to be happy. Happiness isn’t about waiting for the perfect moment; it’s about finding joy in the now. Make a deliberate effort to find the silver lining in every situation. 4. Focus on Your Internal State: Remember, happiness comes from within. It’s not about external factors like money or status. You can be happy right now, regardless of what’s happening around you. And get this – there’s actual science behind this! Studies show that when you’re happy, your brain lights up in areas like the prefrontal cortex and amygdala, which helps you make better decisions and feel less fear and anxiety. How cool is that? Now, let’s talk about the power of gratitude again because it’s just that important. Gratitude can literally change your life. When you start your day focusing on what you’re thankful for, you set a positive tone for everything else. It’s like a ripple effect of goodness. So, ask yourself, is it important for you to be happier in this life? If you’re nodding your head right now, then start with these simple tips. And don’t forget, I’ve got a free “Think This Not That” workbook that can help you replace negative thoughts with positive ones. You can grab it at kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat.   ⭐ Hey there! 090: Two Tips for Overcoming Comfort Zone Challenges

Today's Do Life Big Podcast episode is packed with insights to help you break free from your comfort zone and take those crucial risks to pursue your dreams. 🚀 If you've ever found yourself stuck in analysis paralysis, unable to take action towards your goals, this one's for you! Before we dive in, don't forget to check out my FREE 60-second quiz at kathireuter.com/quiz. It's designed to reveal your entrepreneurial persona type and guide you toward your next breakthrough in business. Trust me, it's worth it! 🎉 Alright, let's get into it. Picture this: you know exactly what you need to do to create the life you want, but you're not fully committing. Sound familiar? We often find ourselves at a crossroads, torn between staying in our comfort zone or making the bold decision to change our lives for the better. 🛤️ Here's the deal: every decision we make boils down to opportunity versus obligation. Our brains are wired to keep us safe and comfortable, but that can hold us back from achieving our full potential. It's a constant battle between the desire for growth and the fear of discomfort. 💪 So, how do we overcome this hurdle? The two tips for overcoming comfort zone challenges are: Shift your focus from obligation to opportunity: Instead of dwelling on the negatives, envision the positive outcomes awaiting you on the other side of your comfort zone. Whether it's building a successful business or prioritizing your health, keep your eye on the prize and embrace the discomfort as a necessary step toward your goals. 🌟 Remember your why: When things get tough, always go back to why you started in the first place. Your initial motivation will fuel your journey and keep you going when the going gets tough. 🔥 Remember, the path of least resistance isn't the path to greatness. You have to be willing to put in the work and make the tough decisions to create the life you truly desire. And when things get tough, always go back to why you started in the first place. Your initial motivation will fuel your journey and keep you going when the going gets tough. 🔥 So it's time to make a choice. Will you stay stagnant or will you embrace growth? The decision is yours, and I have faith that you'll choose wisely. You've got this! 💫   ⭐ Hey there! Thanks for listening! ⭐  Help me spread the word about Do Life Big! 089: Why Personal Development Isn't Enough to Get the Growth You're Searching For

Welcome back to another episode of Do Life Big! Today, let's dive into a topic that's close to my heart: why just soaking up personal development isn't enough to propel you forward in life and business. 🚀 From my years of coaching entrepreneurs and now guiding people to reprogram their thinking, I've noticed a common trap: getting lost in consuming content without taking action. It's easy to fall into the pattern of reading, listening, and attending seminars, hoping for change, but real growth happens when we apply what we learn. 💡 Think about it 🤔: when was the last time you took a concept from a book or podcast and immediately applied it to your life or business? That's where the magic happens. It's not about passively absorbing information; it's about taking inspired action, even when it feels uncomfortable. 🌟 Sure, it's tempting to wait for the perfect moment or solution, but life doesn't wait. The key is to take one nugget of wisdom and put it into practice every day. That's how you bridge the gap between knowledge and transformation. 🔗 Remember, life itself is your greatest teacher. Every challenge is an opportunity to apply what you've learned. So, next time you consume self-help content, ask yourself: what's one thing I can do right now to move forward? 🤔 Combine learning with action, and watch your life transform. And if you're ready to reprogram your mindset for success, check out my free workbook "Think This Not That" at kathieuter.com/thinkthisnotthat. 💭 Remember, you're awesome! 👋   ⭐ Hey there! 088: Letting Go of the Past to Embrace Confidence & Fulfillment

Welcome back to another episode of Do Life Big. I'm absolutely buzzing from this incredible event I just attended in Phoenix, Arizona. Seriously, surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals is a game-changer. But let's dive into something I noticed at the event, something that affects us all: the weight of our past. ⚖️ As a mindset coach, I see how clinging to past failures holds people back from true happiness and fulfillment. Picture this: 200 entrepreneurs, each carrying the heavy baggage of past mistakes, criticisms, and self-doubt. It's a common theme, right? But here's the kicker—it's not just entrepreneurs; it's everyone. I met folks who, despite their success, were battling health issues, lacking trust in themselves, and seeking validation from others. Sound familiar? Maybe you've been there too. But guess what? You're not alone, and you can break free from this cycle. Here are the three steps I learned at the event—and they're absolute game-changers: Step 1: AwarenessFirst up, recognize the weight you're carrying. Whether it's an old wound, a harsh comment, or a past failure, acknowledge it. Awareness is the key that unlocks the door to change. 👁️ Step 2: CompassionInstead of beating yourself up, show yourself some love. Understand that you are not defined by your past. Embrace self-compassion and let go of the need for perfection. ❤️ Step 3: GratitudeShift your perspective. Rather than blaming your past, thank it. Every obstacle you've overcome has made you stronger and wiser. See your past as a teacher, guiding you toward growth and abundance. 🙏 Remember, you have the power to rewrite your story. So, let go of what weighs you down, and step into your confidence and purpose. You've got this! If this resonates with you, share it with a friend. And don't forget to grab my free Think This Not That workbook at kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat. You're amazing, and I appreciate you. Until next time, keep shining bright! ✨   ⭐ Hey there! 087: Transforming Self-Talk For Your Best Life

We just got back from the incredible cruise on the wonder of the seas, Royal Caribbean. And it was so much fun, we had such a blast with the family and all of our friends. And now it's back to the grind. Today's Do Life Big Podcast episode is all about transforming our self-talk for a better life. Today, we're talking about how to change the way we speak to ourselves. Why? Because it's crucial for living our best lives. Think about it—how do you talk to yourself internally? Are you constantly criticizing, replaying failures, and beating yourself up? It's time to change that narrative. Self-love is the key to building confidence, and confidence is what drives us towards our goals. It's like a Jenga tower—if we keep pulling out negative blocks, it'll eventually collapse. But when we add positivity, we strengthen our foundation. How we talk to ourselves affects everything—our actions, our confidence, even how others perceive us. Imagine greeting yourself with the same kindness you'd show a friend in need. Comparison is another joy thief. Social media can make us feel inadequate, but remember, where you are now is where you start. It's harder to take action when you're feeling down, so let's change the script. You deserve daily affirmations, that positive voice cheering you on. It can be you—you're the main character in your life story. Start noticing your self-talk patterns, and shift towards positivity. Remember, what you focus on, you attract. So let's shift our focus to the good stuff. Create your 'awesome list'—celebrate your wins, your strengths, everything that makes you, you. By changing how we talk to ourselves, we can change the course of our lives. So, let's start this journey together!   Grab my FREE workbook, Think This, Not That - kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat ⭐ Hey there! Well, you're not alone. 🤝 In fact, I've been there myself, and I'm here to help you break free from those limiting beliefs. Because the truth is, the only thing holding you back is yourself. Let me share a personal story with you. When I started my first business, I was drowning in debt and had no clue what I was doing. 082: Unleashing Potential: The All-In Approach to Business Growth

Hey there, welcome back to another exciting episode of Do Life Big! I'm thrilled you're here. But before we dive in, I've got some fantastic news.  This coming March 13 and 14, I'll be hosting a free workshop called Unleash Your Business Potential. If you're an entrepreneur aiming for six or seven figures, struggling with income plateaus, or just starting out, this is for you. Head over to kathireuter.com/unleash to reserve your spot—it's going to be game-changing! Now, let's get into today's episode. We're tackling a crucial question: Are you truly going all-in on your business? I've seen a pattern among entrepreneurs: the ones who soar versus those who struggle. It boils down to mindset and commitment. How do you talk to yourself about your business? Are you wishy-washy, hoping it works out? Or do you declare, "This is happening, no plan B"? Let's rewind to my early days as a newbie entrepreneur. I had no clue what I was doing, but I was crystal clear on one thing: there was no backup plan. I was all in because I had a burning why – to be there for my kids. And guess what? That mentality made all the difference. Here's the deal: Your mindset shapes your outcome. If you're treating your business like a hobby, it'll yield hobby results. But if you're unwavering in your belief and commitment, magic starts to happen. So, here are three keys to going all-in: Watch your language. No wishy-washy words. Declare your success daily. Ditch Plan B. Your business is the only option. Period. Confidence comes from action. Take that first step, even if you're unsure. Remember, it's not too late to crush it in 2024. 076: Using the Power Of Your Mind 🧠 to Grow Your Income 💰

I totally get it. Grinding away, trying everything, but that stubborn plateau just won't budge. Been there, done that – stuck in the same frustrating cycle for over two years. In today's Do Life Big Podcast, I want to share my journey, the mistakes I made, and the game-changing insights that finally propelled me forward. Six years ago, my health and fitness business was soaring – a six-figure success story. Life was fantastic until, boom, hit a roadblock, an income plateau that felt impossible to conquer. Why? Because I naively believed I was exempt from setbacks and failures. Oops. 🙈 Here's the first golden nugget: Prepare for the inevitable roadblocks and income plateaus. They're part of the entrepreneurial journey. Embrace them, learn from them, and use them as stepping stones to your next level. 🚀 But, here's where I went wrong. I thought I could hustle my way out of it – working longer hours, sacrificing sleep, doubling down on personal development. Yet, the breakthrough remained elusive. The crucial lesson: Working harder won't always crack the code. It's about shifting your mindset. I found myself trapped by limiting beliefs, convincing myself I was a failure and not cut out for the success I envisioned. So, here's the key takeaway: Your thoughts shape your reality. If you're stuck, it's time to rewire your thinking. Identify those limiting beliefs, challenge them, and rewrite your story. To guide you through this journey, I've crafted a quick quiz at kathireuter.com/quiz. It's designed to pinpoint your entrepreneurial persona and guide you toward the next steps in your business. 🎯 Remember, you are capable, you are worthy, and your dream is within reach. Don't let self-doubt hold you back. Change your thoughts, change your life, and watch your business soar. I believe in you, and I can't wait to see you crush those goals. Until next time, keep doing life big! 👊✨   ⭐ Hey there! Thanks for listening! ⭐  Help me spread the word about Do Life Big! 073: How to Overcome Fear of Rejection

Welcome back to another heart-to-heart episode of Do Life Big! Today, I'm getting real about something that's probably touched all of us at some point – the fear of rejection. 🤔 Have you ever stopped to wonder why we carry this fear like an invisible weight? Well, I've been coaching for a good while now, and let me tell you, it's one of those things that can really hold us back. So, in today's Do Life Big Podcast episode, I went deep into the layers of this fear. Have you ever thought about the connection between rejection and acceptance?🤷‍♀️ Rejection is the opposite of acceptance, and at the end of the day, that's what we're all chasing. I even shared a bit of my own journey, a time when the fear of rejection made me compromise who I truly was just to fit in and be accepted. But here's the thing – why do we crave acceptance so much? 🤔 It all boils down to not fully embracing and loving ourselves. We took a journey from a carefree childhood to the conditioned selves we've become, shaped by societal expectations and probably a lot of parental influence. The conflict arises because our true selves resist accepting what our conditioned selves have turned into. 🌟 Now, understanding all this is one thing, but what do we do about it? Take a deep breath; change isn't an overnight gig. I encouraged you to be on a journey of self-discovery, to reconnect with the things that used to light up your world. It's about bridging the gap between the carefree kid you once were and the grown-up you've become. And hey, this isn't a quick fix; it's a lifelong commitment to growth. I urged you to integrate joy and fun back into your life.  💖 Remember, the love and acceptance you're searching for from others? Turns out, that's what you truly want from yourself. So, put on your adventure hat, and let's tackle this fear together! 071: What Childhood Challenges Taught Me? (My Personal Journey)

Happy New Year! 🥳 Today, I'm getting real about something we don't talk about enough – the challenges we faced as kids and how they shaped who we are today. Have you ever seen someone successful and thought, "They've always had it easy"? We forget the hurdles they overcame. So, let me peel back the layers of my past. Surprise! I wasn't always the loud, confident person you know. As a kid, I was shy, got picked on, and battled self-doubt. And it took me 30 years to realize I needed to work on myself!!! 😅 The secret sauce? I embraced all the discomfort and struggles I had! I was like a butterfly breaking free from its cocoon. 🦋 In today's Do Life Big Podcast episode, I spill the tea on how I raised the bar for my friendships, upgraded my standards, and learned not everyone needs to like me. It's about being me and attracting the right vibes. Personal growth turned me into a better mom, wife, friend, and entrepreneur. And guess what? The journey never ends. I roll with personal development, jam to inspiring content, and stay with those who uplift me. 🚀 Always remember these things: Am I listening to things that make my mind better and make me feel good? 🎧 What am I reading? Am I reading things that help me grow and work through areas I need to improve? 📚 Am I watching things that are positive, inspiring, and give me that feel-good feeling? 📺 Who am I surrounding myself with? What are those conversations like? How do I feel after leaving those situations? 🤔 Your past isn't a burden; it's a gift. So, what challenges are you still working to overcome?💪   ⭐ Hey there! 070: A Simple Life Hack for Everyday Joy

Happy Holidays, wonderful souls! 🌟 In today's episode of Do Life Big, I dove into a game-changer – a simple life hack for infusing everyday joy into our lives. Ever find yourself overwhelmed, stressed, or just caught up in a wave of negative emotions? I get it; we're all human, and life's roller coaster can be a lot to handle. 🎢 In this episode, I spilled the beans on a simple life hack I learned from one of my mentors that transformed the way I navigate those tough moments. 🔍 Picture this: you're feeling stressed, and I challenged you to ask yourself, "What was the thought that caused me to feel this way?" It's all about pinpointing those negative thoughts and, here's the kicker, replacing the 'I have to' with either 'I get to' or 'I choose to.' 🔄 📝 Here's a quick rundown of what I covered: "I have to create all this content" becomes "I get to create all this content." "I have to plan my project today" transforms into "I get to plan my project today." "I have to prep all my meals" turns into "I get to prep all my meals." It may seem small, but trust me, this shift in perspective, combined with a deep breath after each statement, is a total game-changer. ✨ The result? A calmer, more peaceful you, ready to take on the world with a positive mindset. Don't forget to check in on yourself – you deserve that moment of self-care. 🌈  If you find yourself struggling, don't hesitate to dive into my free workbook at kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat. It's packed with tools to help you shift your perspective.   ⭐ Hey there! 068: Three Lessons from Taylor Swift's Person of the Year Interview

Just touched down from the most epic business event EVER – seriously, the best thing I've done in a decade! 🤩 And guess what? I wasn't flying solo! Over 900 entrepreneurs from every corner of the globe joined the fun. Now, hold on tight... because today's Do Life Big Podcast episode is all about our queen, Taylor Swift! 💗 Can you believe it? Mind blown! 🤯 Any Swifties in the house? Or moms with Swiftie daughters? 🤭 So, I stumbled upon this interview where Taylor dropped some major wisdom bombs after snagging Person of the Year. 🏆 And let me tell you, the lessons are legit! But I'm not holding back – here are the TOP THREE takeaways: Lesson #1: Be a storyteller.📚 Taylor's a pro at this. She spills the beans on her lows, not just the highs. Embrace your story, especially the messy parts. Your lows and struggles are relatable and powerful – they connect you with others, building trust, and inspiring them. Remember, your mess is your message. ✨ Lesson #2: Embrace the lows. Taylor says you gotta go through the downs to reach the ups. It's like a rollercoaster🎢 – can't enjoy the thrill without the crazy drops. So, don't let setbacks define your journey. Instead, view them as stepping stones to growth. Your breakthrough often follows the breakdown. Lesson #3: Celebrate the journey. 🎉 We often forget to be grateful for where we are right now. Yeah, we dream about the future but take a sec to pat yourself on the back. You're on your own unique journey, and even in your current state, you're someone's inspiration. There you have it – three rad lessons from Taylor Swift that you can totally rock in your life. If you vibed with this chat, don't miss out on my free five-day vision goal-setting group starting Monday, December 18. We're gearing up for a killer 2024, and I want you on board. Just hit up kathireuter.com/goals, sign up, and let's make the next year epic together. 🚀   ⭐ Hey there! Thanks for listening! ⭐  Help me spread the word about Do Life Big! 067: How To Stop Feeling Overwhelmed

As we're cruising towards the end of the year and diving headfirst into the holiday madness, it's like life just cranks up the chaos, right?  Tech buzzing, responsibilities piling up, and that to-do list? Never seems to end. But here's the deal – it's not just messing with your head; it's doing a number on your body too. 😅 So, I spilled the beans on this latest Do Life Big Podcast episode. I spilled about my own journey figuring out that overwhelm isn't some external villain but more like our own thought drama playing on repeat. It's all about the stories we cook up in our minds. 🧠 And guess what? I also threw in some practical strategies to shake off that overwhelm: 🌬️ Breathe More: Seriously, take a few minutes each day to just focus on breathing. Give yourself a mini vacay, like two to three minutes, to kick back and just breathe. 🎯 One Thing at a Time: Master the art of zeroing in on one task at a time. Sort that to-do list and hit up one thing at a time for some A+ time management. 💼 Boss Decision-Making: Organize your to-do list by urgency. Tackle those must-do tasks today or in the next couple of days. Level up your prioritizing and decision-making game. 🚫 No More Juggling: Practice saying "No" to stuff that doesn't match your priorities. Don't drown in too many commitments – it's cool to keep it real and not take on the world. 😊 Do What Makes You Happy: Find stuff that brings you joy and sneak it into your day. Could be a hobby, a sport, or anything that gives your brain a breather. 📝 Write It Down: Instead of juggling everything in your noggin, jot down all the stressors. Helps you get those thoughts out, spot patterns, and take charge of the stress game. So, if you're feeling the weight of overwhelm, give this episode a listen. Remember, you're the boss of your story. Take a breath, sort your priorities, and focus on what truly lights you up. You're in control, and I believe in you! 🌟   Grab my FREE workbook, Think This, Not That - kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat   ⭐ Hey there! Thanks for listening! ⭐  Help me spread the word about Do Life Big! 066: Mastering 6 Life-Changing Decisions

Another week, new conversation you don't want to miss! In today's Do Life Big Podcast episode, I'll dive into some of life's most pivotal decisions, and why mastering them is crucial. So, grab a cozy spot, and let's get into it! 🌟 Step 1: Who do you surround yourself with? Ever noticed how your vibe syncs with those you walk with? It's not just pace; your heart and breath align too.  🌎 Step 2: Where do you live?  Is your current city a catalyst for growth? I made a life-altering move from Massachusetts to Florida, and it revolutionized everything. Ask yourself, is your environment propelling you toward your best self? 💑 Step 3: Big M -- Marriage. It's YOUR life; who you marry matters. Don't settle; find someone who fuels your growth. Nick and I have been married for 17 years because we're a team, supporting each other's journeys. What kind of partner do you envision? 💰 Step 4: Money Matters.  Whether your passion is your paycheck or they're separate entities, choose wisely. Most divorces stem from money issues; sync up with your partner on financial goals. Are you doing something you love for a living? 👤 Step 5: Who do you want to be?  Define your values and character traits. Reflect on what you want people to say about you when you're gone. It's not about achievements; it's about your essence. Write it down; let it guide you every day. 🌟 Step 6: Dedicate Your Life.  What's your life's purpose? Don't just go through the motions – dedicate yourself to something meaningful. Whether it's family, business, or a cause, live with intention.   There you have it, my friends – the six monumental decisions that shape your destiny. I hope this episode resonated with you as much as it did for me. I appreciate each one of you. Until next time, keep doing life big! 064: How to Make 2024 Your Year

Can you believe we're almost at the end of 2023? 🤯 I get it – the holiday rush is already hitting me. Christmas stuff everywhere, and it triggered a major panic attack! Who wants to wait until the last minute to wrap up the year? Not me. 🫢 So, here's the plan: let's finish everything by the end of November, so we can truly savor the Christmas season. 🥳 Now, today's episode is a gem. I love discussing and teaching this because it's all about setting ourselves up for an epic 2024. Why does it matter? Well, each year, we promise ourselves that "this is the year," only to see the cycle repeat. Did you know 80% of New Year's resolutions crash by February? Why? Because often, we lack tangible, actionable steps. So, let's start planning for 2024 now. 🤩  I've been on this entrepreneurial journey for over a decade, and here's the trick: set your goals and craft your vision before the year ends. It brings more success and makes things happen faster. Don't push your dreams aside until January 1; you'll already be behind. Alignment is key. In today's episode, we'll scratch the surface of planning for your best year. Want more in-depth, live guidance? Join my five-day masterclass starting December 4 (check out kathireuter.com/goals to join the waitlist). Here are few steps to get started with your goal setting: Ask yourself, "What do you want?" Find a quiet space, and envision your 2024. Big or small, your goals should excite and mean something to you. Once you have your goals, ask: Is this truly important to me? Attach a specific date to each goal, and don't just toss ideas into space. Plan out how you can achieve this goal. Keep your goals visible – tape them to your mirror, and have them on your desk. I've created a free template [click here to download] to help you plan dates, and actions, and understand why each goal matters. In the end, don't limit yourself. Your beliefs drive your achievements. Stick to the plan, and tweak as needed, but quitting on your 2024 goals? Not an option. There's no Plan B. You'll face obstacles, but let nothing stop you. The only person who can halt your progress is you. Make sure you download the FREE Template I prepared for YOU and join the waitlist for the live masterclass at kathireuter.com/goals and get ready to kick off 2024 with a bang!    ⭐ Hey there! 062: How to Craft a Crystal Clear Vision for Your Business and Life

Welcome back to another episode of Do Life Big. Today, I'll be diving deep into something that's been on my mind a lot lately – the power of having a crystal clear vision for your business and your life. Ever felt like you're just going through the motions, stuck on a hamster wheel, and something vital is missing? I get it. I've seen countless entrepreneurs struggle with this. The secret? A clear vision. Not just any vision, but one you can see, feel, hear, and taste. When your vision is crystal clear, it injects purpose and meaning into your work. It's like finding your way out of a forest – you need a direction! But here's the catch – your vision must be authentic. It's not about what others expect or what looks good on paper. It's about what brings you joy, what resonates with your true self. Your vision is your compass, guiding you toward your goals, inspiring you every day. Ever wondered why some people make success look effortless? Their vision is clear, that's why. It's not about overwhelming yourself; start small if you need to. Think about the next few steps, the next 90 days. You can broaden your vision and zoom in on specific goals later. The key is continuous evaluation – ask yourself, "Is this decision taking me closer or further away from my vision?" Exciting news – I'll be hosting a five-day live masterclass on goal setting to set you up for your best year ever in 2024. Stay tuned for details! If you're as pumped as I am, join the waitlist at kathireuter.com/goals. Together, let's make your dreams a reality.  ⭐ Hey there! Thanks for listening! ⭐  Help me spread the word about Do Life Big! 061: What Successful Entrepreneurs Do Differently

Before we jump into this episode, I've got something special for you. Do you ever wonder how to identify your limiting beliefs and change those negative thoughts swirling in your mind? I've crafted a free PDF just for you, listing 19 common limiting beliefs and their empowering counterparts. Grab my FREE workbook, Think This, Not That - kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat, and let's start rewiring your thoughts together! 🎙️ Ever found yourself dreaming big, envisioning the entrepreneur's life of freedom, flexibility, and financial independence, yet feeling stuck in the cycle of 'wannabe entrepreneurism'? Trust me, you're not alone!  I've spent a decade mentoring amazing souls like you, guiding them to unlock their true entrepreneurial potential. One of the most significant pitfalls I've seen is the 'waiting game.' Are you waiting for someone to tell you what to do, seeking certainty in an inherently uncertain journey? It's time to break free from that cycle. As entrepreneurs, we're creators and problem solvers. We don't wait; we act, even in the face of uncertainty. Another game-changer? Sales. Your focus should be on revenue, not just the surface aspects of your business. Sales are the life force that transforms your passion into a thriving venture. It's not about the website, certifications, or perfecting social media. It's about consistently putting your offers out there, learning from rejection, and refining your pitch. And here's a golden nugget: Motivation follows action. Waiting for lightning to strike and ignite your motivation? It doesn't work that way. Action begets motivation. Start moving, keep pushing forward, and you'll find your drive amplifying with every step. Lastly, a crucial lesson I've learned: Choose your mentors wisely. Not all advice is created equal. Seek guidance from those who have walked the path, constructed businesses, and made millions. Don't let your vision be clouded by well-meaning friends or family who lack real business experience. So, what's your next step? What action will you take today to propel your dreams into reality? Remember, you're on a unique journey, one that requires courage, determination, and a sprinkle of audacity. I believe in you, and I am incredibly proud of you for taking this unconventional path. If today's episode resonates with you, share it on social media, tag me, and let's inspire more dreamers to become doers. Your journey matters, and I can't wait to see you thrive! 🚀✨    ⭐ Hey there! 060: Two Tips to Embrace Acceptance

Welcome back to another episode of Do Life Big! I’m diving deep into a topic that holds the key to personal growth and inner peace: acceptance. Picture this: life's throwing curveballs, and we're all desperately seeking that magic fix. But what if the real secret lies not in doing but in being? I shared stories that hit home, like Michael J. Fox's perspective on acceptance, and the profound Serenity Prayer that guides us through accepting what we can't change. But here's the kicker: acceptance isn't about passivity. It's about acknowledging reality, even the messy bits, and then deciding how to respond. I get it; it's tough. We all wrestle with situations we wish were different. I've been there too, whether it was facing financial crises or dealing with unexpected turns on my journey to motherhood. But guess what? These challenges were pieces of a puzzle, shaping my path in ways I couldn't fathom back then. And in this episode, I extend a challenge to you, my incredible listeners: a 24-hour radical acceptance challenge. Tip 1: Accept Every Situation, Every Emotion, Every Circumstance. Feel the resistance melt away as you embrace what is, appreciating the present moment for what it is – imperfectly perfect. Tip 2: Exercise Your Acceptance Muscle. It’s not about resigning to fate; it’s about gaining the wisdom to navigate life's twists with grace and resilience. Just like a muscle, your capacity for acceptance strengthens with practice. And yes, it's okay if your acceptance muscle feels weak right now. We're in this together, learning, growing, and evolving. Grab my FREE workbook, Think This, Not That - kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat for a free guide on transforming limiting beliefs. 057: Why You Should Choose the Future Over the Past

Have you caught yourself looking back at your past experiences, and allowing them to dictate your future, recognizing how this can hold you back? Imagine you're steering a boat, and you're fixated on the wake it leaves behind. That wake represents your past, where you've been, not where you're going. Our brains are hardwired to keep us safe by predicting the future based on our past experiences. But here's the catch: if you're seeking improvement, growth, and change, living in your past won't get you there. You'll simply recreate what you've already experienced. Think about it, have you been allowing the wake of your past to steer your life? It's time to shift that focus because your brain's main job is to keep you alive, not necessarily to help you thrive. In today's Do Life Big Podcast episode, I'll be talking about why we should stop living in the past and why we need to start living in the future. The key is to live more in the present and focus on creating the future you desire. Visualization might sound too simple, but it's incredibly powerful. Your brain can't tell the difference between real experiences and vividly imagined ones. Are you envisioning a future that mirrors your past, filled with fear and anxiety? Or are you shaping a future that excites you? It's essential to get clear on your goals and practice daily visualization to change your brain's patterns. Remember, your brain prefers the known, but you can make your desired future feel familiar. You can change your brain by mentally rehearsing your future and creating new memories. In the end, it all boils down to one thing: you have to want change more than staying the same. It's time to stop being limited by your past and start creating the future you truly deserve.   Grab my FREE workbook, Think This, Not That - kathireuter.com/thinkthisnotthat ⭐ Hey there! Thanks for listening! ⭐  Help me spread the word about Do Life Big! 056: How to Start Taking Action on Your Dreams

Let's start your day with something to be a wake-up call for YOU!   Year after year, we jot down our goals and dreams on our vision boards, only to keep pushing them to the next year's list. How many times have we told ourselves, "I'll start that book someday," or "I'll move to that dream location someday"? Well, my friend, that someday is TODAY. We've all been guilty of it, haven't we? In this Do Life Big Podcast episode, we're breaking free from the waiting game. I want you to stop waiting for that elusive "perfect time" for when you feel "ready" or for someone to give you permission. The only person who needs to care enough about your dreams is YOU! It's your life, and you're in control. Remember that book you want to write, that business you want to start, or that adventure you want to do? It's time to pick up the pen and start. Imposter syndrome, those nagging thoughts that you're not good enough or ready enough, need to be silenced. You're not an imposter; you're a beginner, and that's a great place to be. I share my own journey of battling excuses and self-doubt and how I finally drew a line in the sand to start pursuing my dream. We talk about the endless excuses we make and why it's crucial to stop wasting time. Today is that "someday" you've been waiting for. I encourage you to acknowledge your dreams and take responsibility for working toward them step by step. It doesn't matter how busy you are; even a few minutes a day can create significant change over time. By directing your energy and time toward what truly matters to you, you'll bring more joy and fulfillment into your life. It's never too late, and you're never too old to start. So, what's the one action you're taking today to move closer to your dreams? 055: How to Access Your True Potential by Deep Cleaning

Do you know that satisfying feeling when you declutter your physical space? We're taking that concept to a whole new level today. I've been on a mission recently, starting with my kids' rooms, to clean house not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. We'll start by looking at your thoughts – that constant chatter in your mind. Are those thoughts serving you, propelling you forward, or just occupying space? 🤔 Then, we'll dig into your habits. Did you know that nearly half of what you do daily is habit-driven? 🔄 We'll examine each habit – keep the good, kick the ones that aren't helping. But it doesn't stop there. Relationships play a crucial role in your life. We'll chat about those too. Are your relationships lifting you up or weighing you down? 🤝 And we'll even touch on those sneaky negative self-talk habits we all have. Ever wondered if they're helping or hurting your journey toward your goals? 🙅‍♀️ This deep cleaning isn't just about tossing out old pens; it's about simplifying your life, creating mental space, and setting yourself up for success. 🌟 Picture it: a life where everything around you aligns with your goals, where each thought, habit, and relationship serves your greater purpose. Sounds good, right? But remember, it's a process, one step at a time. Be patient with yourself. 🕰️ So, my challenge to you is this: dedicate a day to decluttering, not just your physical space but your thoughts, habits, and relationships. Embrace the lighter feeling, mental clarity, and sense of empowerment it brings. 🚀 Because we don't want anything standing between you and your true potential. 🌠   ⭐ Hey there! Thanks for listening! ⭐  Help me spread the word about Do Life Big!
