Dr. Ackah graduated from dental school in 2009. After dental school he realized he needed more education to be the super dentist he wanted to be, so he went on to get his GPR training at the Pittsburgh VA System. After working for one year as a general dentist, he realized he loved surgery more than dentures, so he applied and got accepted into the Pitt periodontal residency. Following graduation in 2014, he moved to Houston, Texas where he set up a traveling periodontal business. When not doing dentistry, Dr. Ackah enjoys hosting the podcast "Tooth Be Told", cooking, traveling and watching soccer. Kyle Dumpert grew up in Bedford, PA. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2008 with his bachelors, then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine where he graduated in 2013. After dental school, he completed a one year GPR at the Pittsburgh VA Hospital. He then returned to his hometown of Bedford to work for his childhood dentist with plans to purchase the practice. Dr. Marc Schlenoff is VP of Clinical Development at Tend, the dental brand bringing a hospitality mindset to oral health. Dr. Buske grew up in Minnesota playing hockey and lacrosse. He moved to Texas to finish his undergrad at Texas A&M and then completed his DDS at Baylor College of Dentistry in 1997. He lives in the small town of Granbury, just outside of Fort Worth, where he practices in a group with 2 other doctors. Dr. Panagakos received his DMD from UMDNJ-New Jersey Dental School (now Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine) and his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UMDNJ-Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in 1992. Dr. Panagakos joined the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in August 2018, as the Associate Dean for Research. In January 2019, he was appointed Vice Dean for Administration and Research, and on July 1st, 2020 was appointed as Interim Dean. Dr. Panagakos is the co-author of over 77 peer-reviewed scientific research articles and is the co-editor of three dental science textbooks. Tim graduated in 1997 and purchased his first practice two years later. He was quick to embrace consumer advertising, at that time only just legalized, tooth whitening and clear aligner therapy, also only just available in the UK.
