<p>Just as we put on clothes each day to suit our daily activities, the Bible also tells us that we need to dress spiritually for the day ahead.</p>

<p>Legalism was robbing the church in Colosse of its power. Paul said that these self-imposed religious rules lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence (Colossians 2:23). Now in Colossians chapter 3 Paul encourages the people to walk in the riches God has for us, taking off the old carnal way of living and resetting our lives to the kingdom above.</p>

<p>Christmas is a time when we focus on the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, His First Advent. The word advent means "coming" or "arrival". We also look forward to the day He will return as King and Judge - His Second Advent.</p>

<p>Jesus has sent the Holy Spirit to be our Helper. As we spend time in God's presence, we can develop our inner ear to hear the Holy Spirits guidance - even in turbulent times.</p>

<p>To hear God's voice we must stop, look and <a href="http://listen.But" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">listen.But</a> then like any relationship, we need to act upon what we have heard. To obey and respond to what God has spoken, is honoring and pleasing in His sight.</p>

<p>Our lives are filled with many voices competing for our attention. Yet many of us never hear the one voice we long to hear the most. In the midst of it all, God is still speaking but we need to tune into His frequency.</p>
