The scenario behind this question is that this listener and their cousin are starting a Christian radio station. They want to purchase a radio commercial in an effort to learn about the process of selling radio air time and commercials. However, they don't want to reveal to the radio station the real reason behind the purchase of the commercial. Daily Word — I received a question from a listener who asked, "How do I get out of debt?" Well, the common answer is to cut expenses and live below your means. However, that is only part of the solution. The other half (probably the most important half) of the solution is to make more money. Daily Word — God gives us assignments that are for a moment, season, or lifetime. As we are doing an assignment, we may not know which time frame it falls into. Therefore, it is important to stay connected to Holy Spirit and not assume an assignment from God is forever so that we can be open to hearing if (or when) a change in assignment comes. Daily Word — This message is to help us identify the mental storms in life, and for professionals to understand and respect the spiritual as well as the emotional relational and physical realms of life in the healing of Christians experiencing mental health issues. How does our spiritual health intersect with our mental health? How do we know if we should go see a counselor, ask for a prescription from the doctor, go to the pastor or ask for prayer? Is there ever time we might need to be delivered from a demon. These questions have traditionally not been talked about in church, The church must continue to have conversations with professionals and members suffering from mental issues to serve and minister more effectively. This is the case because society has bought into the myth that business is bad, so business is vilified. Even many in the church see pursuing business ventures as ungodly. Daily Word — God has given you a calling for which He desires you to succeed at. However, as much as God desires for you to succeed, Satan desires for you to fail. Therefore, Satan will send many attacks your way that are designed to stop your calling and/or are fashioned to tempt you to give up. A major way we can stop his attacks is to put on the full armor of God. This is practically done by living a life following the ways of God. Sunday Service Online — We are starting a new series on Biblical principles to create business success. To get us started, we are learning the most important Biblical success principle for business: the only good reason to start a business is because "God Said." If you start a business for any other reason, then that business will eventually fail. Failure doesn't necessarily mean it won't make money—failure also comes in the form of anxiety or a lack of peace. Without a "God Said," you are doing business by yourself without God. Needing to know why can cause you to second-guess your actions, create stress, and make you unsuccessful. We also discussed that we have to change the way we think, ensuring that we are kingdom-minded rather than worldly-minded. For example, the world says that you are successful when you make a certain amount of money. However, in God's kingdom you are successful the moment you act in obedience to an instruction from God. With this great proliferation of voices, you are bound to hear minsters say something that you perceive to be false doctrine or just straight up lies. However, we have to resist this urge because, as believers in Jesus Christ, we are citizens of the Kingdom of God. For Jesus to return, we must correct this blemish. Thus, in a real way, race unification within the Church is a requirement for the return of Jesus. Many organizations, people, and platforms will emerge saying they have the solution to fix racism. However, many of these sources for solutions will be backed by darkness masquerading as light. Daily Word — When harm (intentionally or unintentionally) comes to us or those we love at the hands of another human, our flesh cries out for vengeance. The key is that we have to be patient and keep working diligently at our calling, so we can reach the inflection point. Daily Word — If you are like me, you want to know how everything works. And when they don't work, you want to know why. However, this attitude can stunt our spiritual growth because we won't know some things about God and His ways until the return of Christ. We have to be able to live with this mystery. Daily Word — There is a term in warfare called "the fog of war." It is a metaphor for the confusion that occurs on the battlefield when bullets are flying and bombs are exploding. In this confusion (or fog), it makes the battle plan unclear and uncertain. Likewise, there is a fog of life that causes confusion in the vision God has given you.
