Why are you so fearful of failing?
Daily Word 2.0 — We are exploring Mark 4:35-41. In this passage, Jesus instructs his disciples to take a boat to the other side of a lake. But the disciples become fearful when a storm occurs and accuse Jesus of not caring about their lives. Clear your table
Open Forum — We discussed that we need to allow God to do new things through us. However, for that to happen, we need to clear our table (aka the activities that we are doing), and only place the activities that we love, back on the table. We also examined the idea that we need to have correct expectations for success and wrapped up by discussing how to overcome the emotional hurt of an abortion. Is traditional thinking stopping your calling?
Daily Word 2.0 — We are exploring Matthew 15:1-9. In this passage, the Jewish leaders accused Jesus of breaking tradition, but Jesus flipped the script and accused them of breaking God's word because of their traditions. The main revelation we are going to process is that there are traditions that we follow subconsciously that are not allowing us to hear God's new direction for our life. Follow God over the data
Daily Word 2.0 — We are exploring Luke 5:1-9. In this passage, Jesus uses Peter's fishing boat to preach the word. After preaching, He instructs Peter to go fishing, but Peter is hesitant. The main revelation we are going to process is that just because past data tells you something can't work, a word from God can override what the data says. Therefore, we need to follow God over the data. Links — CFE Atlanta, Bible Study, Open Forums, Online Community, Ministry School, Partnership
God's will requires choices
Atlanta Sunday Service — The will of God doesn't happen without help. It requires our choices and the choices of other people. This is a major revelation we must have so our faith doesn't get thrown into turmoil if something "God said" doesn't happen or is very slow to happen. Daily Word 2.0 — We are exploring Genesis 17:1-21. In this passage, God clearly lays out the vision for Abraham and Sarah. However, because of Abraham's limiting beliefs about his age, he tries to downgrade the vision. Daily Word 2.0 — We are exploring Genesis 16:1-13. In this passage, Sarai convinces Abrah to sleep with her servant. She did this as an alternative to waiting on God. Too many things in our hands
Bible Study — Many of us are personally doing too many things within our calling. In the beginning, you may be able to handle it, but at some point you will drop some things, burn out, and crash your calling. God didn't create us to implement our calling alone. We were designed by God to work with others to accomplish the calling He placed in our heart. If we don't get a revelation of our need for others and start delegating, we won't fully achieve all God has called us to do. Trust in your God-given anointing to lead
Daily Word — Many Christians question their ability to lead their calling to success because they are looking at their natural credentials and past track record. However, if God has called you to do it, then He has anointed you to lead it. It's not about your natural ability; you will succeed in leading because of the leadership anointing that God has placed on you. Success speed depends on obedience speed
Daily Word — There is a popular saying among Christians: "I am just waiting on God." Well, instead of us waiting on Him, I believe 99% of the time God is waiting on us to obey His previous instructions. God, who created time, doesn't need time to bring our success. Our success speed depends on our obedience speed. Links — CFE Atlanta, Bible Study, Open Forums, Online Community, Ministry School, Partnership
Is ministry more important than business?
Daily Word — In many believers' minds, a business calling is not as important as a ministry calling. Some even feel that business is just a stepping stone to get into "real" ministry. Is this true? Links — CFE Atlanta, Bible Study, Open Forums, Online Community, Ministry School, Partnership
Should I leave my church?
Daily Word — We began our discussion on not being deceptive in pricing your products and we explored how to price a service that depends on human labor. Also, we spent a good amount of time discussing if or how you should leave a church. This area of discussion included looking at the spousal dynamic of one spouse wanting to stay and another spouse wanting to leave for another church. Get your mind on God instead of money to be successful

Podcast Schedule Update
Hearing the word preached on a daily basis accelerates the growth of our faith. Therefore, in 2014 we created our podcast to preach the Word on a daily basis. Through the years we have fluctuated between five days and seven days per week. As I was led by God I would update the broadcast schedule. I am now being led to move back to five days per week, Monday through Friday, and allow for the weekends to be days of rest. This will allow us time to catch up on any missed messages and reflect on all messages, including Bible Study, that were presented during the week. This new schedule will start this weekend. Consider these: being one late payment away for being homeless, being on the verge of going out of business, or receiving a negative doctor's report. These giant problems in life have the potential to crush us if we don't deal with them correctly. Links — CFE Atlanta, Bible Study, Open Forums, Online Community, Ministry School, Partnership
Your part to bring about Church unity

Links — CFE Atlanta, Bible Study, Open Forums, Online Community, Ministry School, Partnership
Do it anyway
Open Forum — We discussed that we should not wait until things are perfect before we act. Waiting for perfection causes us to procrastinate and never get anything done. Jesus desires for His Church to Unify

God's anointing for your success is on the original vision He gave you
Daily Word — If you are not building what God told you to build, then it doesn't matter. God's anointing for success is on the original vision He gave you, not a modified version of it. Take a listen to today's podcast to dig into this concept. Links — CFE Atlanta, Bible Study, Open Forums, Online Community, Ministry School, Partnership
Make peace with your journey
Open Forum — God has given each of us a journey (a.k.a. calling) to walk. However, to enjoy the journey and to succeed, we must make peace with our journey. To have this kind of peace, we can't compare our journey to another person's journey, and we must walk our journey in patience. 3 Reasons why you aren't healed yet
Daily Word — The Bible tells us that Jesus died so we can be healed from physical sickness and diseases. However, many Christians are currently sick and in physical distress. Disobedience cancels God's plan for your life
Daily Word — Even if God called us to do it, success is not automatic. If we are disobedient in the implementation steps, then success will stay far from us. We all make mistakes, but disobedience is a choice to go in a different direction than what God has called us to do or a choice to not course-correct when we discover we are wrong. It's critical to keep checking in with God, and when required, quickly change our direction back in line with the will of God. Don't despise your tent-making business
Daily Word — I teach a lot about being focused in your calling. However, there are seasons that require you to divide your focus between a day job and your calling. In those seasons, it is not a lack of faith to do both—if it is directed by God. When God leads you to stay on the day job, it is because your day job is part of His strategic plan to get you to where you need to be. In today's message, see how the Apostle Paul used his tent-making business (a.k.a Day Job) to support and succeed in his calling. What happens at the end?
Bible Study — In the Bible, the book of Revelation talks about what happens at the end of times. However, for many Christians, this book of the Bible is mysterious, and some Christians are even afraid to read it. However, if God didn't want us to understand the end times themes of the book of Revelation, He would not have given us this book of the Bible. Let's examine this book together and explore what happens at the end because understanding the end helps us understand the "now." Note: There are three main views held by Christians about the end times: Amillennialist, Postmillennialist, and Premillennialist. All three views believe that Jesus comes back for His Church and defeats the devil for good, but they differ in terms of the sequence of events. After studying all three viewpoints, I have landed on the Premillennialist view and will share more about this belief in today's Bible Study. God will make your crooked path straight
Daily Word — No one executes the vision God has given them perfectly. We all make minor and major mistakes that throw our vision off track, which creates a crooked path. However, no matter what mistakes we make — big or small — if we keep our trust in God, he will make our crooked path straight and help us accomplish our vision successfully. Is God's forgiveness conditional?
Daily Word — In Mark 11:25-26, it appears Jesus is telling us that if we don't forgive, then God won't forgive us. If this interpretation of the Scripture passage is correct, it seems that God's forgiveness is conditional. However, that interpretation contradicts other parts of Scripture, which show that God forgives us while we are still sinners. Let's explore Mark 11:25-26.
