You are blessed to succeed despite your mistakes

Sunday Service Online Many Christians feel like they are cursed to fail because they have made so many mistakes in their past. They wonder, "How can God bless me based on my previous mess-ups?" Because they feel cursed to fail, they don't attempt to succeed in life. This mindset is a trick from Satan. You are not cursed to fail! Jesus died to remove the curse, and to give you the blessing. Yes, you will experience consequences for mistakes you have made and will make. However, because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you are blessed to succeed despite your mistakes. Why some Christians vote Democrat and others vote Republican

Atlanta Recap / Some Christians vote Democrat, while other Christians vote Republican. Why? It is important that we understand the reasons behind this because Christians are at odds with each other over politics. This conflict has created a rupture in the Body of Christ and hinders Jesus' desire for His Church to be unified. However, to unify Christians across party lines, we first must gain a Biblical understanding of each other's political motivations. Give / http://give2cfe.com

Basic principles to interpret dreams and visions

Sunday Service Online (from October 9, 2022) — God speaks to us mainly through His written word and the inward witness in our heart. However, He is also in the business of giving us dreams and/or visions as part of our toolkit for direction for our entrepreneurial calling. A simple distinction I use between them is that dreams happen when you are asleep and visions happen when you are awake. Let's learn a few basic principles to interpret dreams and visions. This is by no means a complete study on the topic, but it is a great starting point. Links — CFE Atlanta, Online Community, Partnership

Follow Holy Spirit, Not the Law of Focus

Summary / I am a big believer in focus, because focus activity over an expended period of time produces success. I call this dynamic the "law of focus." However, the law of focus should not be turned into an idol that replaces the voice of God. While the law of focus is a great idea, it is not above hearing Holy Spirit. If Holy Spirit instructs you to change your focus, then break the law of focus. Scriptures / Exodus 20:3-4 NLT, Acts 10:9-16 NLT Link / https://amosjohnsonjr.com/

When you are not "in love" with your vision anymore

Summary — It is bound to happen at some point—you fall out of love with the vision God gave you. This is very common even though most Christians are afraid to admit it. However, this is not due to a lack of faith. It is a natural part of the process. When it happens, we have to commit to love the vision and take a much needed break for a little bit. Why many are frustrated with the Church

Summary — Research shows that each year millions of Christians leave their local church. They are not leaving Jesus, just the church because of frustration and burnout. This situation has been on my heart for a while and God has now given me the words to express why this is really happening. Simply put, it is because the vision of the local church is/was elevated above the vision of the individual church member. The Art of Teaching The Word (Self-Study Course)

We have turned our live course, "The Art of Teaching The Word," into a self-study course to help ministers and non-ministers learn the art of teaching the Word. So, whether you're a pastor or a business owner, there will come a time when you need to open the Word of God and teach the Word to somebody who doesn't know what you know. In this course, my wife and I teach you how to study the Word, to prepare a message, and how to communicate those messages in ways that bring revelation to your listeners. If this course sounds interesting to you or if the Holy Spirit is saying you need to take this course, then follow the link below for details and enrollment information. https://amosjohnsonjr.com/ (Enrollment Closes on Friday November 4th) My wife and I look forward to teaching you the art of teaching the Word.

How Shall this Be - Stretch your mind and spirit to receive the vision God has for you

Summary — Mary's faith to conceive Jesus is a great example for us of how to stretch our mind and spirit to receive the vision God has for us. When presented with the greatest calling of all time (giving birth to the messiah) instead of doubt, Mary stretched her mind beyond human understanding and simply asked – How shall this be. The "right look" is not required for leadership

Summary — To lead, you don't need to lose weight, dye your hair, change your eye color, or do anything else society finds attractive. Your ability to lead is not based on what's attractive to society, but the anointing that's on your life. This is critical to know because if you think (or even slightly think) your ability to lead is tied to looking like what society finds attractive, then you will fail. 7 Rules to always making the best godly business Decision

As you follow God's plan for your business, there is a multitude of decisions to make along the way. We encounter both minor and major decisions in our course. However, if you follow these seven (7) simple rules, you will always make the best decision possible. Rule 1: Never Make a Decision Based on Money If you make a decision based on money, you will be wrong 95% of the time. Only make a decision based on direction from God. You'll be right 100% of the time. In John 5:30, Jesus said I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. Jesus did not make decisions without first checking in with God. In fact, this scripture demonstrates that any decision that needed to be made came directly from God. Similarly, we need to have a close walk with God, to ensure our spiritual intuitiveness is sound to guide us in our decision-making process. If we are seeking His will, we'll make less and less bad decisions as time goes on. Rule 2: Don't Hesitate after Receiving Direction Only wait on God for direction when He has not given you specific instructions. If God has given you direction, go forward down that path. For example, in Exodus 14:14-16, Pharaoh's army had chased the children of Israel to the sea, and there was no apparent way of escape. So Moses prayed to God for direction, and God responded Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward God was telling Moses that He had already given him the instruction to go forward, and within that instruction was the power to do so. Likewise, when God gives you direction, go forward. Rule 3: Don't Follow Every Good Idea Stay on your course and don't follow every good idea you have. All ideas are not for you to do. Some ideas are for anther time or person. Pray for discernment to recognize the difference. In Acts 16:6-10, Paul had to make a decision on where he should preach next. There were a lot of places that needed the gospel preached, but there was only one place at that time God desired for Paul to go to. Like Paul, we should only execute the idea God has called us to do. Our anointing for success lives in what God has called us to do, not something else. Rule 4: Don't Wait for Perfect Conditions He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap – Ecclesiastes 11:4 There is never a perfect time to make a decision, so do not wait for perfect conditions. If you are observing your circumstances and waiting for the right time, you will never make a decision. Rule 5: Don't Let Fear Stop You You will make mistakes along the way; however, do not allow that to prevent you from making a decision. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand … For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again. – Psalm 37:24, Proverbs 24:16 The Bible is clear that even a just man will make some mistakes in his lifetime, so with that being the case, we cannot be troubled about making a mistake. Just know that you will make mistakes at some point in time, but when you do, God has your back. Therefore, do not let the fear of making a mistake stop you from making a decision. Rule 6: Gather as Much Information as Possible When in the decision-making process, gather all the information you can relative to the subject. As a result, you will be able to make a more informed decision based on a multitude of facts. Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors they are established – Proverbs 15:22 A multitude of counselors can come from people or authoritative sources of information. For example, if you are striving to develop a real estate business, you should utilize the library for books related to real estate or seek the counsel of those in the real estate business. But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. – 1 John 2:20 Upon gathering the required information listen to the Holy Spirit on what to do with that information. Rule 7: Make a Better One Next Time Finally, if the decision you make does not produce fruit, then make a better one next time. Deuteronomy 18:21-22, states that any word that comes from God will produce fruit. If the decision you made does not produce fruit after a reasonable amount of time has passed, then you have made a mistake. Remember rule number five, even a just man makes mistakes from time to time. The key is not to lay down in your mistakes, just say, "Praise God I was wrong"; and move on. Who are false prophets?

Sunday Service Online — Jesus said that we would encounter many false prophets. However, most people who we call false prophets are not. They are just ministers who see things differently or make mistakes with doctrine. Real false prophets are teaching that we can live any way we want, teaching that there are multiple ways to God, are not teaching about Jesus, and are denying that Jesus is Lord. Family and friends don't have your faith

Summary — When family and friends don't see immediate results from your entrepreneurial calling, they may give you the advice to quit. Why? Because they don't have the faith to handle the challenge of your calling. Everyone's entrepreneurial calling is filled with challenges, and it requires faith to handle that. However, your family and friends weren't given the faith for your calling. God gave you the faith for it. So don't get upset when others don't support or have faith in what God has called you to do.
