<p class="MsoNormal">We’re joined by YouTube creator Clayton Crowley, who put out the video last week about Rob as “The Greatest Role Player in NBA History”, as it was really well done. This video has since popped off on YouTube, and Clayton talks why he made it, why he loves hoops, and why he chose to put the spotlight on Rob’s career. We also joke about stories that Clayton uncovered about Rob, how Tim Duncan used to tease him, and how none of our moms approved of our choices. Clayton sticks around for the rest of the show, as we dive into LeBron eclipsing the 40,000 point mark, why Caitlyn Clark would go to the WNBA over the NIL money she’ll get in college, Darvin Ham’s future with the Lakers and our individual MVP candidates. Plus Rob pulled some click bait headlines this week, we offer up a really great Big Shot of the Week to the cops who saved an autistic girl from a Florida swamp, and play a hilarious round of Walmart or Waffle House with Clayton!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">So how many people got married on Leap Day yesterday? Rob thinks it’s a masterful move so you only have to celebrate your anniversary once every four years! Plus lots more NBA stuff, including audio of Draymond Green and his disappointment about Ant Man goofing off in the All-Star Game, but Rob’s point is that everyone goofed off in the All-Star Game. That also spins us into a discussion about the young faces of the league going forward. We also have a laugh about Shaq’s memories of Dennis Rodman saying he smelled like “Garbage Truck Water” – and Rob says that Shaq actually left something out… not only would he not shower after games, but he’d work out too. <p class="MsoNormal">Rob’s YouTube tribute from a fan kicks things off this week, and it’s really well done even though Rob doesn’t know the guy who put it together. And of course we get right into Monty Williams killing the refs after the end of the Pistons-Knicks game, and we all discuss just how big of an issue the bad calls and questionable refereeing has been this season. Rob feels like there are too many new rules in the NBA for these refs to keep up with and it causes more problems than it should. We also take a look at the Heat-Pelicans fight, as Jimmy set the fuse and that whole game fell apart at the end. And LeBron had the media sideways this week after telling the media to “back off” Bronny and let him be a kid, even though he was the one who posted on social media that Bronny could play in the league right now. That also spirals into a conversation about the expectations that the children of pro athletes have to face as they try to make their own way, something Rob has to deal with in regards to his son Christian. Court storming is also a lightning rod of the week after Kyle Filipowski got hurt when Wake Forest fans stormed the court, and Rob wishes it wasn’t a thing, while we disagree because it’s a true sports tradition. And another one of Stephen A’s rants about Zion’s weight catches a stray from Stephon Marbury and Rob has thoughts. Plus the new Clippers logo feels too “high-brow” for the NBA, a really cool Big Shot of the Week to the NY Transit Authority Police, and another fun game about real businesses and fake businesses called “The Next Big Thing”.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Somehow the bonus show kicks off with a discussion about Girl Scout Cookies and which ones torture us more than others. Plus Jenners has a list of NBA stars that have scored the most points without logging any assists, and while Kobe was on this list, Rob says he never had that issue with Kobe because Kobe was always looking for him. Also, listener questions this week include the Bucks terrible record under Doc Rivers (and how long he can last if it continues), has Rob ever been postered by a signature dunker, and who agrees with Barkley that Kevin Durant is a follower and not a leader. And we close things out with our most recent show recommendations, including Stranger Things, You and the newest installment of True Detective.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We open up this week with the news that Rob’s son Christian is committed to UCLA! Rob is thrilled because it’s where he wanted to play and it’s a great school, even though there’s an allure to play at USC because his mom’s and alumni and Bronny is there. Plus everyone piles on the All-Star Game after a very poor showing by the NBA’s best players – after no one tried, they tossed up ridiculous three-point shots, and Rob says the only solution is to scrap the game entirely and do something new. And Rob wants to see more of the women’s players involved in the All-Star festivities because it will keep the weekend in the spirit of fun and inclusion. LeBron to the Warriors was the story of the week that wasn’t actually a story, as Rob says he doesn’t see any road where LeBron actually leaves LA before he retires. And Rob’s best friend Ty Lue saying he wants to kick the refs earned him a $35K fine, along with the Nets dismissing Jaques Vaughn as Brooklyn remains in purgatory. The Big Shot of the Week goes to a South Bend police officer who saved a dog who had its snout zip-tied shut, and a hilarious round of Black Crime or White Crime during Black History Month!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We tip off the Shoot Around this week by looking at the Obi Toppin dunk fail against the Knicks, which spins us into a conversation about how we fail trying to show off… and it always seems involve trying to impress a girl. Rob is asked who is to blame for the Duncan Robinson-Jaylen Brown fight over the weekend, because it got ugly quickly, and Rob thinks it was a freak accident but didn’t like the angle of how Robinson’s arm went back. We also get listener questions about when we are willing to admit the Warriors dynasty is over, what cities are the best to host events like this weekend’s NBA All-Star game, break-up protocol after Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen have apparently split, and how excited we are for the Deadpool & Wolverine movie.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It’s a huge Super Bowl after show for the guys, as we talk about Beyonce, Patrick Mahomes, and a huge debate breaks out about the definition of a “dynasty” in sports. Plus B-Dog believes Patrick Mahomes is the greatest quarterback of all-time after that win, which the Robs don’t agree with due to his young age, but everyone does agree that Usher killed it at the halftime show performance. And we laugh at the fact that neither team understood the new overtime rules, and B-Dog has a bone to pick with Kyle Shannahan. Oh yeah, and we actually talk basketball on the show, as Rob does NOT like the addition of Spencer Dinwiddie to the Lakers because he can’t figure out how they’re going to use him. We also jump into some of the bigger splash moves from the trade deadline, the buzz about Trae Young’s future in Atlanta, and how much Rob enjoyed the unveiling of the Kobe statue and where the three statues will go. The LA Fire Department gets our Big Shot of the Week for a daring river rescue, and with Valentine’s Day this week we play a game called “Heart Broken” about the biggest losses sports fans have ever suffered.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We open the bonus show this week by looking at the players that have already been eliminated from season awards due to the new rules. And Rob uses the opportunity of Embiid’s injury to make a case for Jayson Tatum, while B-Dog throws his support behind Anthony Edwards. LeBron also gave a bunch of advice for the “younger generation” and Rob says<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>he’s offered the same advice before also – and adds that staying in college with NIL is better than the G-League, and also learn to interact with the media. Another listener question brings up a debate about coaches (like Doc Rivers) that shouldn’t get another shot to coach, and within that question we debate the value of “coaching trees”. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Rob also regrets not taking a free Super Bowl ticket after finding out the walk-in price for a ticket, and we close with the Kentucky player who kisses the Tennessee player in the middle of an on-court skirmish.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Rob is getting hammered with rain in Southern California and is afraid of having to dodge falling rocks and mudslides in the unprecedented Cali weather. Plus Rob weighs in on the loss of Vanderbilt for the Lakers, and how their bench seems to find ways to step up on nights when LeBron and AD are out of the starting lineup. And Rob has some laughs about LeBron raising everyone’s eyebrows with the Knicks towel and social media shenanigans this week. The loss of Joel Embiid will clearly hurt Philly, but Rob thinks they are going to take a big step back because of their upcoming schedule. We also dive into the fact that we’ve been sleeping on the Cavaliers, why Rob turned down a FREE ticket to the Super Bowl, and why he hasn’t capitalized on knowing Usher’s manager to both bet on the Halftime Show and also get him on this podcast. A really inspiring Big Shot of the Week all the way from the UK, and we see if Rob and B-Dog can remember where iconic NBA superstars ended their careers.</p>

Big Chris asks Rob, would you rather win a bunch of titles for one team, or would you rather win a title with every different team you play for? Rob wants the dynasty of winning in multiple cities. Plus Snoop's Top 5 active players, what moves Rob wants to see by the deadline whether its Dejounte Murray or Kyle Lowry, and why Rob is irrationally terrified of small private planes.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Rob and the crew are back, and immediately try to figure out why the Bucks fired Adrian Griffin and why they chose to retread Doc Rivers as their next head coach – and Rob thinks that there was more happening behind the scenes than anyone knows. And after Luka hung 73 on the Hawks, we go deep on the lack of NBA defense over the last decade, with some stats that are eye opening for NBA fans. Plus we talk to Georgia Tech basketball head coach and NBA legend Damon Stoudamire, who lays out stories about playing against Rob, the guys he used to hate facing in the league, the state of today’s game, and what drew him back to college basketball. <p class="MsoNormal">We open the Shoot Around this week by diving into the Kelly Stafford drama coming out of the Lions-Rams game a couple of weeks ago, as she claims her children were booed by Lions fans... and Rob says he had that talk with his kids a long time ago because it's part of his profession. We also answer a listener question about how much we talk to ourselves, and we both confess that we do so more in the car than anywhere else. Jay Gruden vs RGIII brings up the topic of Rob's long standing beefs, our final meals if we were on death row, and how long the hot water lasts in our house after the story about the Chiefs claiming the Bills turned off their hot water.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Rob and Rob open the show this week by talking about Joel Embiid going off for 70 points, and KAT putting up 62 in a losing effort and becoming an afterthought. We’re also joined by an NBA legend in Dominique Wilkins who talks about the state of the Hawks, the reality of seeing your statue outside the arena you played in, the evolution of the NBA game today and specifically the lack of defense. Nique also jokes with Rob about the days they used to face off, how he feels like all the guys who made the 75<sup>th</sup> team should be in the GOAT conversation, guys who shoot too many threes and the games he used to cook Robert Horry! Rob also talks about the trade rumors around Dejounte Murray and how that affects the way he plays. Plus we get into the NFL Playoffs, recapping a wild division round weekend, the Bills kicker, Jason Kelce stealing the spotlight from Taylor Swift and who we think plays for a Super Bowl. The post-game presser uncovers that Rob lived in a college dorm that DIDN’T allow girls, a dilemma about a teammate’s girlfriend being promiscuous, Victor Wenbanyama’s bedtime and movies they’ve made too many of.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It’s the weekly bonus show, and we open with a question about our favorite songs, and as that’s a tough one to answer we talk about our favorite artists and the moods that call for them. We also dive into a list of the statistically best players in the league, bringing up a huge debate about how guys are graded and ranked as compared to how they are actually producing on the floor. Rob also weighs in on Wizards guard Ryan Rollins who got caught stealing candles, food and body wash from Target – and it prompts the question, have you ever been caught stealing? Plus the most disappointing player on every roster gets us deep into debate, especially around Jrue Holiday’s inclusion on this list. And Rudy Gobert airballing free throws and getting mocked by Westbrook and the Clippers, leads us to wonder if Rob ever struggled with free throws.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Rob’s son Christian had a huge weekend tournament but missed his “Big Shot” moment, with a smile on his face he joked about it with the media. We also jump right into the Nick Saban retirement news with Alabama alumni Robert Horry, who says he was shocked to see the legend move on. And every coach that got a raise due to the threat of becoming Saban’s replacement owes Nick a bottle of champagne! Plus we get Rob’s take on Austin Reeves being a possible trade option for Dejounte Murray, a move he’s not that excited about. And we haven’t had a better rant than Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic, who called out the NBA referees for “a complete crap” of a game against the Lakers, and enjoyed the hell out of Mike Brown bringing highlights to the post-game presser. Dwyane Wade’s state going up in Miami prompts a conversation about other superstars that deserve a statue that hasn’t gotten one yet. And the conversation about Bill Belichick leaving New England poses the question about whether he was only great because of Tom Brady. Big Shot of the Week goes to an amazing couple feeding the Austin, Texas community, and we close it out with a hilarious round of Rapid Fire!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It’s a huge round of Buy or Sell on the clickbait headlines of the week – including how Rob feels about Joel Embiid’s scoring prowess, LeBron no longer being a Top 10 player, the Clippers winning a title, Luca’s game, the end of the Warrior dynasty, Chet’s Rookie of the Year campaign and Donovan Mitchell wanting out of Cleveland. We also answer listener questions about Pat Bev advocating for more old school trash talk in the NBA, and Rob says never felt baited by trash talk because it was such a common element of the game when he played. Lamar Odom is also pushing for the Lakers to implement the triangle offense, and even though Rob played in that system in LA, he says it takes special players to buy into that format and have it work. And we close it up with old school movies that hold up today, and the man who skinny dipped in a Bass Pro Shops fish tank prompts us to discuss stores that we just don’t get.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Rob opens the show with genuine surprise that the Lakers beat the Clippers, which launches the entire show into a debate about the current status of the Lakers. Plus where do Rob and B-Dog fall in on the criticism surrounding Davin Ham, the Lakers trying to make moves at the deadline, and George Karl blaming AD for the Lakers’ shortcomings this season. And with Draymond Green making his return to the floor, Jenners and B-Dog both lay into him over his retirement sob story to Adam Silver, because this is very much a situation of his own making. B-Dog covers the Hawks for our station in Atlanta and says it’s about to be a fire sale, with the exception of Trae Young and Jalen Johnson Jr. We also send some congratulations to our buddy Shaq for having his jersey retired in Orlando, give up another Big Shot of the Week to Mark Cuban for bonusing all his employees, and Rob and B-Dog square up in another classic round of Shot Clock.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We celebrated the Detroit Pistons snapping their record-setting 29-game losing streak, by discussing things we are not very good at or just never win at… and the front runners are Monopoly, Madden and Fantasy Football. Plus Draymond Green made headlines for attending LeBron’s birthday party – but does it matter that he’s currently suspended? This also leads Rob to talk about the celebrities that threw the best birthday parties, and he shares a story about crashing Vin Diesel’s birthday party in Miami. And ESPN is in trouble for airing a woman flashing her boobs during a shot from Bourbon Street during the Sugar Bowl, so Rob shares his experience at Mardi Gras and talks about other events he wants to attend in his lifetime. And with Jokic saying he wants to be left alone and become “unknown” when his career is over because he hates the attention, we ask Rob if he can relate or has any stories about being baited by the public. Finally Rob has not heard of the Gypsy Rose Blanchard story, which blows everyone’s mind, and we talk about New Year’s Resolutions we set and then end up dodging as we start 2024.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We’re back for a big 2024!! Rob spent the New Year in Portland, watching his son battle in a tournament, and of course both Rob and B-Dog on the woes of the Lakers line-up. Plus Rob weighs in on the Lakers possibly making a move for Dejounte Murray out of Atlanta, but isn’t sure the Lakers are willing to part with the players and picks needed to get him. We also take a look at the standings as we hit the 2024 half of the season, including how good the Thunder have been and what setbacks the All-Star packed Suns have faced. And we never miss an opportunity to pick on Rob after the Alabama Crimson Tide lost the College Football Playoff in terrible fashion… even though Georgia showed the country they were clearly the best team in the country and should have been playing in these games. Plus Ja’s “gunshot” celebration, the MVP ladder that is shockingly missing Anthony Edwards, an inspiring Big Shot of the Week from England, and a hilarious edition of Walmart or Waffle House!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We open the show this week with Ja Morant’s return to the NBA. Rob is really happy to see him back and we all loved the cinematic ending to win the game in his first game back, but the Grizzlies have a mountain to climb in the West. Plus, does the Spurs horrible record affect Wemby’s shot at Rookie of the Year? Especially considering how good Chet Holmgren has been playing as the Thunder continue to roll in the West. And of course we get deep into Draymond’s latest suspension, which screams of a much bigger problem for the Warriors. Rob thinks he will need to address his “on-court aggression” otherwise he may end up hurting his team and it will become a reflection on Steve Kerr’s coaching. Speaking of coaching, we also try to figure out why Ime Udoka is pouring fuel on the Dillon Brooks fire in Houston as opposed to finding a way to grab the reigns and teach this young team the right way to play. B-Dog also has a mixed reaction to the Lakers hanging an In-Season Tournament banner, as everyone believes that it’s nice to celebrate but feels “less than” every other banner in the rafters in Los Angeles. And with all the media buzz around Ant Man saying he wants to “cook LeBron”, Rob feels that is the right attitude to have, and he shouldn’t be dragged for wanting to face off against the best player on the floor. We also give our predictions for the College Football Playoff and who we think will be playing for a title when we return from the break. Shaquille O’Neal gets our Big Shot of the Week for FILLING a gym with gifts for Atlanta kids in need. And we round it out with a hilarious Christmas-themed edition of Black Crime or White Crime. <p class="MsoNormal">Rob was in the building in Vegas as the Lakers won the NBA in-season tournament and AD was a BEAST in the win. Rob also informs us that the Lakers plan to hang a banner for the In-Season Tournament and we CANNOT believe it! We’re also stoked to see Bronny finally hit the court with some confidence after a scary situation with his heart, and Rob has an earnest conversation about Zion Williamson’s weight and how it can affect his health down the line after seeing him up close in Vegas. Tyrese Haliburton can also name all the players drafted ahead of him and so can Robert Horry! Plus Rob doesn’t agree with the Shohei Ohtani contract deferment, largely because he would NEVER do it. We give out a really cool Big Shot of the Week, and close out the show with a funny round of “Loaded Questions” – which include Rob’s favorite breakfast, why Rob hates cleaning bathrooms, everyone’s porn name, and jumping wolf spiders.</p>

Plus Rob weighs in on the Ime Udoka-LeBron James fight on the court, saying the ref was really to blame in this controversy because these guys talk to each other like that all the time. We also discuss Marc Cuban selling control of the Mavericks, discuss if the Warriors are really in trouble this season, and Rob has a big pep talk for Tyrese Haliburton after he said he was “tired of being a loser” this week. Plus we are getting closer to Ja Morant’s return, we joke about more James Harden excuses, and give out a huge Big Shot of the Week to Michigan’s Blake Corum for supporting his community with his NIL money. And we close it out with another classic game called “Betting on Yourself” that doesn’t work out too well for B-Dog.</p>

That spins us off into a conversation about Rob’s fights and suspensions, and how his coaches used to handle those situations. Plus Rob doesn’t think it’s fair for Jeanie Buss to get dragged on social media for saying “Lakers fans don’t know how to be patient” because LA has built a franchise around winning titles over the last 40 years. Rob also tries to figure out why Zach LaVine is so unhappy in Chicago and what it would take for him to land with the Lakers. Rob also praises Russell Westbrook for wanting to come off the bench to try and help the Clippers win games, we lament the Jordan Travis injury as FSU tries to hold on to a Playoff spot, and Rob and Rob disagree about the winner of the coming Michigan-Ohio State game. <p class="MsoNormal">Rob’s fantasy football team is dying at the hands of the Buffalo Bills as we open this week’s show. Plus we play the full James Harden rant from Brian Demaris on the Mavericks broadcast, and Rob thinks the roster that looks good on paper might blow up in Ty Lue’s face. And we all seem to think that Steve Ballmer is trying to sell tickets to the new arena instead of worrying about putting a winning roster together. We also dive into the wild Kelly Oubre hit-and-run story, and Rob has big love for Tyrese Maxey and the play of Tobias Harris. The Hawks OnlyFans promo caught Rob’s eye, and the eye of their star players, but all for good fun on social media… and after hearing what people are making on the site, Rob wants to know what it takes to open his own account. And Rob’s phone continues to blow up as the Rockets are playing well, after he said they wouldn’t win 30 games this season. Plus advice to Aaron Rodgers to NOT come back and play this season, Rob dances on the grave of Jimbo Fisher after his firing from Texas A&M, and we break down the Jim Harbough suspension and potential College Football Playoff. <p class="MsoNormal">We start Shoot Around this week with a quote from Draymond Green saying that the chemistry on the Warriors this year is WAY better than last year, which to us feels like yet another shot at Jordan Poole – and Rob shares stories about playing on teams with bad chemistry. Plus James Harden’s comments about being on a leash in Philly get Rob on a stand about being a system guy and not trying to continue to BE the system. Rob weighs in on the top-ranked “two way” guys in the league today and talks about the best guys he won championships with. And everyone drops in on the internet-wide debate about the woman who argued that she was allowed to recline her seat regardless of how the woman behind her felt. Plus a cop calls sports radio in the middle of pulling someone over to crap on the Cowboys brings up a discussion about what teams we hate the most. And we close out the show by talking about the legacy of Bobby Knight, and the meanest coaches that Rob ever had.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Rob opens the show with a story about how he went to the Travis Scott show, and was pissed that Travis didn’t perform “Antidote” because he wanted to hear is his name mentioned in the song! Also Jenners is extremely confused about the function and format of the in-season tournament, Rob thinks the floors are a little too much for some teams, and Harper wonders if players will hang their hat on being an “in season tournament champion”. We also dive in on the Lakers, who have been playing about .500 basketball so far this season, and Rob feels like they should have a better record than they do, especially with Anthony Davis playing up to the odds that he might win Defensive Player of the Year. Of course we have to follow the media hype and talk about Wemby’s performance so far this season, and how maybe the narrative around him has grown too much as MJ and LeBron are brought into the conversation. We also dish out a fun Big Shot of the Week to the deputy that responded to a 911 call because a young child wanted a hug, and round out the show with another hilarious round of Black Crime or White Crime!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The College Football penalty of the week opens the show, as Colorado State got a 15-yard penalty for throwing snowballs at Air Force. Rob jokes that it hasn’t been Colorado’s week, as the Buffalos shared online that they got robbed at the UCLA game, and Rob shares stories about getting robbed over the years. Plus the Kelly Stafford versus Blueface feud launches a conversation about how fans can and should behave at pro sporting events, we discuss the very public slow death of boxing, and what sport’s championship is the most fun to watch even when you don’t have a rooting interest. Plus with Magic Johnson officially crossing into “billionaire” status we all joke about what we’d do if we had a billion dollars, and a moral question about winning a lot of money closes out the show with some big laughs.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It’s Halloween and Rob comes to the show with a really cool LED mask, and we open the show with Flavor Flav’s rendition of the National Anthem from this week’s Bucks-Hawks game. Plus Rob gives us a full breakdown of the Harden move to the Clippers, and while he loves all the guys on the floor he’s unsure about how they will be able to share that basketball. We also all feel like the Sixers got the better end of this deal and got a lot better.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Rob also sounds off on LeBron defending Anthony Davis, saying he needs AD to play better and more consistently so LeBron doesn’t have to defend him after games. Jim Harbough also gets the business from Rob and the crew over the sign stealing controversy, Rob spirals into an SEC debate, and Rob’s friend Dabo Swinney goes OFF on a Clemson caller and sets off an argument about how coaches should respond to fans. We also hand out a really dope Big Shot of the Week, and in honor of Russell Wilson renting out a Waffle House for Ciara’s birthday, we play a Halloween edition of Walmart or Waffle House.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">When you have the opportunity to play with not one, but TWO of your sons in the NBA… can LeBron hang on long enough to make that a reality? Rob would love to see it but thinks he just plays too hard to go that long. Plus with the Taylor Swift and Brittney Mahomes handshake went viral, we want to know if Rob ever had a handshake with other NBA players. And the funniest story of the week was the Rock’s wax figure that looked nothing like the Rock – which prompts Rob to break out the bobbleheads he has that look nothing like him either, including one that looks more like Chris Brown than Robert Horry. We also joke about Marc Davis’s terrible dancing after the Las Vegas Aces won their second WNBA title, how we would survive World War 3 if the world collapsed, and a hilarious kids book written by Big Shot listeners about lessons we’ve learned from NBA players!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It’s OPENING NIGHT for the NBA!! And Rob is not working, so he gets to hang back and watch the Lakers attempt to stop the Nuggets on ring night, and how Golden State (especially Klay) come out and play against the new-look Phoenix Suns. And there will be nothing better than James Harden skipping Sixers practice all week, not showing up for preseason, then rolling in to Opening Night on Thursday in Milwaukee and dropping 40… which we all think could happen! Plus as the season tips off we really take a look at Wemby’s game and how we are all now starting to buy the hype and understanding the buzz around him going into the Draft. Rob also weighs in on what he expects from Russell Westbrook this season after setting a high bar for himself, and what will it take for the Clippers to build a fan base that can carry them through not just this season but into a new arena. And we take a look at the extension that Giannis just signed, what it means for his future in Milwaukee and the kind of deal he might be waiting for. We also debate whether the Patriots should fire the legend Bill Belichick after a very rough start to their season, an inspiring Big Shot of the Week, and a fun round of Halloween shenanigans called “You Scared Bro?”</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Our second show of the week opens with gamer talk, what Rob is playing at the moment and how hard it has become to carve out gaming time as we get older. We also dive into Aaron Rodgers making a return to Jets camp and walking around without crutches only FIVE weeks after he tore his Achilles. It leads us into a wild conversation about injuries Rob suffered, and shared a story about how someone tore his EYELID during a basketball game?! We also get into some heart talk, send some love to Shaq and AI for their new deals at Reebok, and pictures that we’ll always cherish and never forget. Everyone gives their picks for Most Improved Player of the coming season, as the odds have hit for that, and we close it out with college football and an assessment of the Deion Sanders hype now that Colorado is losing.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We open show 135 with Rob continuing to deny that his nudge got Dez Bryant kicked off of World’s Toughest Test. We’ll never let him live it down. And while we aren’t thrilled about starting the show with Dillon Brooks, it’s clear to everyone that he’s trying way too hard to make a name for himself, even though Rob says he didn’t think that shot to the groin was intentional. We also get some early impressions of Dame and Giannis on the floor together, as Rob is anxious to see how it comes together in a full game, because every marriage is good for the first five or six months. Jason Tatum’s top five scorers comes up for debate amongst the show – he listed KD, Booker, Kyrie and Paul George as his Top 5 – and of course everyone wants to weigh in with players that he missed. We also break down the top players by position, debate whether Tim Duncan is a 4 or a 5, and try to figure out what centers are left in the NBA today. And will Klay Thompson head to free agency? The Big Shot of the Week goes to Floyd “Money” Mayweather for helping Israeli citizens in the middle of a terrible war. And we close out the show with a round of Shot Clock, and replay last week’s NBA Emoji Game since last week’s show was somehow eaten by the internet.</p>

And there are some surprises in the Top 10! Listeners want to know from Rob what it’s like getting a season started, and Rob talks about going into camp for the Rockets, the Lakers and the Spurs and how the experiences were all so different. Plus after Will Ferrell DJ’d a frat party before USC and Arizona last weekend, we talk about what celebrities we’d love to hang out with. One question that raises good debate was sent in from Twitter – who would you rather start a team and build around, Jokic or Giannis? And with a new Exorcist movie in theaters, and Halloween in full swing, we ask Rob about his favorite scary movies.</p>

Rob also thinks that Dame to the Bucks could become scary for the East if he can play off the ball a bit more, and he also believes that the new “Big 3” in Boston can work really well for Boston. Plus “Emo” Jimmy Butler gets some laughs during NBA Media Days, and Rob has praise for Anthony Davis after stating he wants to play in all 82 games. Rob gives us a preview of what to expect and talks about just how brutal the conditions were. Rob also says that the Bucks DO indeed need to sign Jrue Holiday to keep Giannis because they won’t be able to afford a rebuild. And of course the definition of a “star” comes into debate, and how many “superstars” are really in the league. The curse of Big Shot Bob plagues Alabama as they slip to 13 and we wonder what is happening with NicK Saban’s quarterback acumen. We close out with some AMAZING audio of the week from a witness that saw the vanished F-35 zip by, give out an inspiring Big Shot of the Week to a couple of firefighters, and another great round of Black Crime or White Crime.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We briefly open the show by recapping this week’s feud with Gilbert Arenas, who we collectively have nothing but love for, so Rob apologizes if his “idiot” comment upset him. Plus Rob and B-Dog are frustrated that Team USA didn’t even medal at the FIBA World Cup and how immediately after we had LeBron, KD, Steph and a bunch of other guys step up to lead the Olympic team. And no matter how well Dillon Brooks played on the international stage he still can’t dodge the jokes about being a villain. We also get Rob’s take on the NBA’s load management plan for the coming season, and we take bets on what teams will get fined first for resting players in national games. And with the news that Chris Paul might be starting in Golden State, and Anthony Davis wanting to play more power forward, reinforces Rob’s idea that the NBA is becoming position-less basketball. Rob also denounces his allegiance to the University of Alabama because the University has not recruited his son Christian and he feels he deserves it as a legacy. Plus Rob weighs in on the Dillon Brooks ejection, Kanye West getting banned in Venice for getting dirty on a tour boat, the insane diarrhea incident aboard an Atlanta flight this week, and hilarious audio of Washington deputies barking like dogs to try and get some car theft suspects to surrender.</p>

Stan Van Gundy also brings a great debate to the show by saying he’s rather have Dwight Howard’s career over that of Anthony Davis, and Rob and B-Dog both side with Stan in picking Dwight over AD. Plus people who can’t get cancelled, a look at the career of Lou Williams and whether the Sixth Man of the Year award should be named for him, and TV shows we love that people are missing out on.</p>
