And everyone struggles to guess the lowest ticket to get in the door, which was the Bulls.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">Rob was also surprised to hear Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve go OFF on the WNBA officiating, because while she was right but that’s not something you say in front of the media. And we gauge Rob’s excitement on the Lakers rookies, as “Westside Knecht” had a monster game (even though it meant Rob had to work an extra half hour) and Bronny finally showed up for the dance.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">And we run off a huge round of NBA Hot Takes as the season gets underway, and it start with Kendrick Perkins saying Kawhi Leonard should consider retiring, even though he’s owed $150M over the next three season… but Rob is doubting his passion for the game. We also take the under on Ben Simmons games played at 44.5, how Luca and Kyrie could not be the greatest backcourt in NBA history because they don’t play defense, Darius Garland feeling like he was “turned on” and how Wembanyama might be special but needs to slow down on criticizing how other guys get ready for the season. Plus a question comes to the show on whether the Bulls should retire Derrick Rose’s number, and what it takes to reach that achievement, because none of us think he’s done enough to have his number retired. We also joke about how Lethal Shooter finally got an amazing picture with Michael Jordan that was out of focus and how he made the mistake of turning to the Internet to fix it. Plus Embiid said this week that he’s done playing back-to-backs, but Rob doesn’t like it because it comes with the territory when you signed your contract. Another listener question to Rob is about the Ball kids, on whether or not they got a fair shake due to their dad, and Rob says they’ve done just fine if they can stay healthy. And we wrap with Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni using his kids as a shield at a post-game press conference and Rob says that should only be allowed after you win a title in your respective sport.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Rob is in Vegas for the Lakers and Warriors, doing an event with Rob Pelinka, and gets right into the rumors about the Lakers hunting for a center and wonders what teams even have an impactful center today. Rob also crossed paths with Draymond Green and talks about how well they got along, and Rob was surprised how short he was when they met. And while we’re on the Lakers, we try to figure out how JJ and Rob can sell Bronny to the fanbase if he continues to underperform in the preseason. Rob and B-Dog both try to convince Jenners that it isn’t about basketball, it’s about the story of playing with his dad, and that doesn’t sit right with people who care about wins and losses and not storylines. Kwame Brown also weights in on the Bronny situation and makes some very strong points from a basketball perspective. We also discuss JB Bickerstaff’s new “no hoodies and jewelry” approach to practice and we agree with it so much that it makes us feel like old men. Mike Malone also enters the conversation after calling his guys “soft” as they come into the preseason, which takes us down a road of figuring out if the Nuggets are “stuck” as some have suggested. Everyone also has some congratulations for the inductees into the Basketball Hall of Fame, and Rob thinks the Liberty are going to win the WNBA Finals amidst record ratings for that series. <p class="MsoNormal">We open this week’s bonus show with one of the wilder basketball card stories we’ve ever heard! In the wake of the Menendez brothers show on Netflix, it has surfaced that both brothers were photographed in the background of a Mark Jackson 1990-91 NBA Hoops card and people are asking them to sign it. It stems into a conversation about the strangest things Rob was asked to sign, and people even wanted him to sign baseballs which makes NO sense. Rob also gets his first look at the wild fight between two female fans happening in the background of KhaDarel Hodge’s celebration video after catching the game winning touchdown last Thursday night, taking us into stories about where we witnessed our favorite fights. Eminem having a grandchild made us all feel old, and we relate that to seeing other people from our youth get older that makes us feel old. Plus Rob offers up his thoughts on the young Rockets roster going into this season, and how he’s excited to see what they can put together. And we close out the show with the strange story of Rashee Rice’s mother being a porch pirate, and what was stolen from our homes by porch pirates.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">With B-Dog running late as we start the big show, Rob jokes about how a Raisin truck wrecked and took him out one week on his way home, which seems like the most implausible excuse ever. Oh and basketball is BACK and Rob is already working back in the studio, and we get right into whether Bronny is ready for the show or not. We all seem to agree that he isn’t ready, Rob thinks he still gets the pass to play early in the season, and is hopeful that this push to get him to play with LeBron doesn’t set him back in his career development. Plus Rob weighs in on JJ’s interaction with the media regarding the questions about Rui, being combative like he was on First Take, and uses the opportunity to tell us how Rui will fit into the Lakers lineup this season. And it wouldn’t be a wild week of college football upsets if we didn’t dance on Rob’s grave after Alabama’s epic loss to Vanderbilt, and we have some laughs with the audio of Diego Pavia after the game and how much money he just made for himself. Pat Bev also chimes in on the “disrespect” for Doc Rivers which cracks Rob up, as the played for Phil Jackson in his prime and the comparison of Doc and Phil is wildly unwarranted. That also segues us into Pat’s take on Ben Simmons and how none of us have any expectations for him on the floor. Harper salutes him for refusing to take any accountability for suspensions and time missed, while Jenners really just wants SOME kind of accountability from him after everything he’s been through. Respect to the Milwaukee reporter who asked Dame about Gorilla shooting her shot as Rob jokes about how much fun Media Days can be. And the Knicks did a lot of squirming behind the mics because they couldn’t talk about the Karl Anthony-Towns trade, as Rob thinks Milwaukee made a HUGE mistake letting him go! Paul Pierce said this week that the Knicks won’t win a championship in his lifetime, and Rob is hesitant to agree, and the audio of Tom Brady cooking Baker Mayfield reminded us of Kobe Bryant. <p class="MsoNormal">We open a huge show this week with Rob having missed all the closing ceremonies, the idea of renting his house out for the Olympics in LA, and how he was taunting us from the front row of a Dodgers game last week. And of course we get into a huge breakdown of Team uSA, who won the gold but not without a lot of drama. Rob sounds off on the leaded audio of LeBron calling out Steve Kerr in the locker room, and agrees that on both the men’s team and women’s team there was a lot of bias from coaches who were playing the players they know. And Rob challenges the idea that only NBA coaches should be coaching Team USA, but if it has to be an NBA coach then it should be someone who doesn’t have any of their own players on the team. Recapping the gold medal game was easy, as we just relive Steph’s amazing daggers against France to bring it home. And amongst all that drama, B-Dog feels like LeBron is still the leader of that team… but Rob says it isn’t enough to be a leader on the floor, it has to count in the locker room too. But it didn’t mean much to Steve Kerr, who was anxious to throw flowers at the GOAT’s feet, even though LeBron was undermining him to the entire team. And we put the wraps on the Olympics by debating who the next group of guys are to pick up the mantle of Team USA. In NBA news, the Christmas Day games were announced – some great, some just okay – and how the NFL is coming for the NBA’s Christmas Day tradition. Giannis feels some sort of way about the Christmas schedule, as the Bucks weren’t included, and Rob is really in “show me” mode with that team now because they are always hurt. Plus Noah Lyles had a week, after he won the gold, then got Covid, then went clubbing, and finally having an article drop about how disrespected he felt to be invited to Anthony Edwards Adidas event. That even spurred the Cheetah, Tyreek Hill, who went from wanting to support him, to wanting to race him and beat him. Preseason football brings us the new kickoff rule, and with the Carolina Panthers plane sliding off the runway, Rob recounts a college plane flight where they all thought they were going to die. Finally the Big Shot of the Week to Magic guard Cole Anthony for giving back to his community, and very funny and odd round of a new game called Bet On Yourself.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We open the bonus show with some of the hilarious Connor Stallions texts to Michigan staffers, just for a laugh, and getting B-Dog to read them with sexy music is all the better! Plus we dive into Snoop Dogg’s format attire at the Olympics, and how Rob owns a LOT of tuxedos and suits, while Jenners doesn’t even own one. And after a French pole vaulter knocked off the crossbar with his junk, we ask Rob about his most embarrassing moments on the court. We also get into the news that Charles Barkley is continuing with Turner beyond them losing the NBA, where we see Deandre Ayton landing if he gets moved from Portland, and the Ice Cube Big3 challenge to the Olympians who win the 3x3 Basketball Event.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>And we close with SPOILERS about Deadpool & Wolverine and how much we loved getting to see so many of the characters they rolled out in this film.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We have lots more Team USA Basketball to talk about as we roll into the final week of Olympic play, and Rob is getting tired of Steve Kerr manipulating the starting line-up so much. He feels like you should be able to fine tune your best line-up and go dominate teams and show them you aren’t scared of match-ups. And when you have guys who are respectively the best players on their teams, they need to learn to check their ego and roll with the game plan so we can bring home gold for the USA. We also talk about just how close that 100M men’s race really was, Rob’s thoughts on Devin Booker saying that winning Olympic Gold is easier than winning an NBA title, and how beautiful the new Kobe and Gianna statue is in the pictures and how it hit us personally. Plus Rob sounds off on Draymond Green dressing down high school players for crying about fouls, when all he (and other NBA players) do the same thing on national television every night. And everyone has feelings about Chris Canty saying that LeBron would never command the respect from other pro players that Michael Jordan gets from generations of guys. We give out a big “party in the back” Big Shot of the Week, and play another hilarious round of Shootout.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Right out the gate we jump into Snoop Dogg calling Badminton at the Summer Olympics in Paris, and everyone feels like we need to hear him do a full quarter of a Lakers game! Plus Shaq made some noise this week by trolling Rudy Gobert, and everyone feels like he’s set everyone up to pick on him by performing so poorly after his Defensive Player of the Year award. And everyone on the show loses it with laughter after Frank the Tank’s epic and utter meltdown over the Mets and Sal Licata in the audio of the week! Plus after a Red Sox fans drops a ball over the Green Monster and embarrasses his wife on national television, we talk to Rob about the last time he embarrassed his wife in public… and he says when he got hammered at his birthday party. And we close out with some superhero talk after Deadpool & Wolverine killed it at the box office, because Rob is a little upset by the new Dr. Doom casting announcement.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We open this week’s show on the Summer Olympics, with Rob watching a lot of fencing, volleyball and of course hoops. We immediately dive into the story of the week surrounding Jayson Tatum’s lack of playing time in Game 1, and while Harper thinks it’s a non-story, Rob disagrees because Derrick White got minutes and he’s not even better than Tatum on his own team. And Joel Embiid feels like he’s the most “hated player in the league” and Rob says he’s not even close to that, and the pressure will continue to mount on him until he gets a title to Philadelphia. But Rob does not feel he’s overrated, as some have said this week, but he does feel like we’re all looking past Milwaukee in the East which makes Philly’s road to the Finals that much harder. And none of us like the TNT lawsuit against the NBA, but we also understand why the NBA folded to tech company money over Warner Brothers Discovery’s traditional broadcast money. Plus we touch on Zack LaVine staying in Chicago, the Paul Pierce vs Durant debate that Keyshawn Johnson spawned on Undisputed, and how Durant got into a scrap with everyone on Twitter over that debate. We also dish out an inspiring Big Shot of the Week to the young man who helped save his family during the Oklahoma tornados, and play a hilarious Olympics-themed version of Who’s Bigger!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We tip off the bonus show this week by talking about Kobe’s old locker from Staples Center going up for auction, as it could go for upwards of $1 million. Rob lets us know that Kobe and Shaq actually had TWO lockers because the lockers were small, and Rob says it was Portland that started the trend of bigger fancy lockers and recalls Denver had the fanciest locker room in his day. Plus Rob weighs in on Landon Miller – the son of OSU alumni Braxton Miller – getting offered a scholarship from FAU at 11 years old, and says the extent of his early recruitment was a bus trip to Kentucky for a small school called Cumberland College. The Suns and Celtics will actually have luxury tax bills in 25-26 that are higher than their actually team salary owed, and Rob feels like Boston can swing it but the Suns really can’t. And we are all in shock about the voodoo of Nick Castellanos hitting a home run during every major world event and wonder if this is worse than the Madden curse. And the Audio of the Week comes to us from an apartment resident who hilariously caught a couple having sex in the shared apartment pool!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We’re back in the regular routine this week – and we open the show with some talk about Team USA as the Olympics start this week. LeBron James gets the honor of carrying the flag for the USA during the Opening Ceremonies, and justly so as he’s been the best player on the floor for Team USA so far. And with LeBron and AD playing at this level, Rob tries to figure out why everyone is discounting the Lakers chances… and it all boils down to the surrounding cast of the Lakers. We also get into Evan Mobley’s HUGE deal in Cleveland, and Rob dissects what it’s going to take for that Cleveland line-up to take a step up and improve now that both Mobley and Spida are locked up. Plus Westbrook is on the move to Denver and Rob thinks it’s good fit, and probably his last shot at a title. But Rob wants to see Denver start replacing the talent they’ve lost, and Russ is just one piece to get them back to what they’re missing. Steve Ballmer’s halo board in the new Intuit Arena is AMAZING, but is that enough to lure talent to LA to play with Kawhi and Harden? We also go around on the state of New Jersey have NO CHANCE to steal the 76ers from Philly, how EA College Football 25 broke the bank, and Harper goes on a rant about how this is something every woman should get for his man to earn some brownie points. We discover that Rob loved to play Madden with Dabo Swinney in their college days, and Rob says he used to beat him all the time. There’s also some amazing audio of the week as Lane Kiffin burns Paul Finebaum down on his own show – and we debate how college football’s new conference alignment really screws over so many student athletes. And we start with the post-credits scene from last week’s show, as Kawhi Leonard steps away from the Olympic team and Jaylen Brown gets the snub by Nike. Rob also offers up his opinion on the Bronny James narrative that has dominated the Summer League conversation, and says it’s important to remember that second round guys like Bronny are being evaluated for their potential, not that their current level – but Jenners disagrees, because he’s never have a shot at an NBA roster if his last name wasn’t James. We also debate if Jaylen Brunson leaving money on the table was the right move, because it largely depends on how management in New York handles using that money. And what kind of big could teams like New York and LA lure with the right coaching and situation? Paul Pierce taking credit for LeBron’s “next step” has Rob wondering why any player would take credit for another player’s hard work and talent – and how you can learn from a team of guys, but never just one guy. And how Barkley calling out the league for their new TV deal was spot on, whether John Wall deserves another shot in the league, how slanted Enes Kantor Freedom’s take is on LeBron James, and the destruction of Hard Rock Stadium by COPA America fans has us reminiscing about the craziest crowd we were ever a part of. <p>We open the bonus show this week with a great listener question, about which team made the best move in free agency. Rob says it was definitely Paul George to the Sixers, but B-Dog and Jenners both feel like you can't sleep on Dejounte Murray to the Pelicans. And speaking of the Sixers, with them bringing back the black jerseys from the Iverson days, we talk about our favorite throwback NBA jerseys... and the Magic pinstripes, 90's Hornets and old school Supersonics looks all make our list. Rob thinks this trend of "raw dogging" a flight by doing nothing at all is psychotic, he can't juggle like Wemby after video of him has gone viral, and how much Kevin Bacon hated being "a regular person" as Rob reflects on the few perks he gets from being well known. And with Futurama coming back again this month, we talk about the TV shows that we'd love to see another season of, including The Wire, Boondocks and the Sopranos.</p>

<p>As we approach the start of the Summer Olympics in Paris, we get heavy into the Team USA lineup and how Anthony Edwards has the big confidence going into the games. Rob also brings up the question about whether or not Joel Embiid should be on Team USA considering he's been a US citizen less than two years. Rob says he should NOT be on the team but is probably playing for the US, instead of Cameroon, because it's his best chance to win gold. And we argue extensively about who we believe should make up the starting five for Team USA. Paul George breaks down the circumstances that lead to him leaving the Clippers for Philly, and how disrespected he felt by the offers LA put on the table. Rob also feels like Philly was a better landing spot than Golden State, which is where PG almost landed in a sign-and-trade. Plus Steph finally spoke out about losing Klay, and we all believe that while Klay didn't get a heritage contract, Steph Curry would definitely get that deal to stay. We also ask Rob how disappointed he is in the Lakers free agency moves, and he says the Lakers are fine because no one ever wants to help them. And we debate if the Caleb Martin move is indicative of the Heat's decline, a shout out to Angel Reese for breaking a WNBA record, and a cool Big Shot of the Week to a 4th of July hero. Plus it's the return of Walmart or Waffle House!</p>

Noah Vonleh is also all over social media as the Shanghai Sharks booted him from his hotel room, as Rob reflects about the worst experience he had with an employer… and to everyone’s surprise it’s the Lakers. And after Cubs pitcher Justin Steele flipped out in the Chicago Cubs dugout, we ask Rob who gave one of his teams the loudest and angriest talk during or after a game. Plus after the Gladiator trailer dropped we talk about movies and shows that everyone else loves… and our Mount Rushmore of NBA greats that have never won a title.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It’s an ENORMOUS NBA show this week, as free agency and extensions have gone insane! We start with the story that had us confused all weekend, as the Lakers draft Bronny James with the 55<sup>th</sup> pick… and not because the Lakers drafted him, but because Rich Paul was calling teams telling them “don’t draft Bronny.” We get into the business decision of it all, and how Bronny doesn’t get his “draft moment” on stage, and it might hamper his growth as a player. But Rob is excited to see what he does for the Summer League. Of course we discuss Paul George signing with the Sixers, as people believe that Philly is the one team in the East to compete with Boston, and Rob says that solely rests on the health of those Big 3. We also get into Jayson Tatum’s record breaking deal, with his five-year $315M contract… and when you look at the money, the Celtics roster will be owed upwards of a BILLION dollars. And the Luxury Tax bill is also a record setter! And how about Klay Thompson turning down more money from the Lakers! Rob says he likely feels like Dallas has a better shot to win, and of course there’s no state tax! But was Klay owed a legacy contract from Golden State? Plus Donovan’s Mitchell big extension with the Cavs, KCP’s move to Orlando, Chris Paul to the Spurs, Dejounte Murray teaming with Zion Williamson in New Orleans, and the Nets continue to try and move on from Ben Simmons. And a Big Shot of the Week goes to the Dodgers ball boy who saved Shohei Ohtani’s life on a foul ball!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The bonus show opens with the audio of Udonis Haslem saying the Heat are the biggest threat to the Celtics in the East, and Rob disagrees because he’s overlooking Milwaukee and Philly, as well as the future of Jimmy Butler in Miami. We also take a look at the game-changing amount of money that Stephen A Smith is asking of ESPN, and with Stephen A on the table we discuss his reaction to the Kelly Stafford admission that she dated Matt’s back-up at Georgia – and Rob did the same thing to a teammate! Plus we joke at the “Nuttin But Azz” tournament getting cancelled in New Jersey, the real impact of low prices at sporting events, and a UK cooking host that can’t say “microwave”.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We go big with Robert Horry on the Lakers hiring JJ Redick, who brings no coaching experience to arguably one of the biggest coaching positions in the NBA. Rob has said previously he thought the hire wasn’t the best move for the Lakers, and says he thinks for the Lakers to find any success with this hire is to have some amazing and experienced coaches on his staff. We also debate whether those assistants are putting themselves in line for when JJ fails, how much the podcast with LeBron influenced this hire for the Lakers, and what truth there is to the concept that LeBron and JJ had no discussions about this job before it was offered. Monty Williams getting dismissed from the Pistons with 5 years left on his deal also hits the floor, and how surprised we are that the Lakers didn’t take a look at Monty before hiring JJ. Plus we dive into the Cavs hiring Kenny Atkinson over Borrego, the massive extension for Scottie Barnes in Toronto, the Caruso-Giddey trade being a steal for the Thunder, and all the strangeness headed into Wednesday’s NBA Draft. And somehow the Rockets are being presented as in “win now mode” which we’re not really seeing, and if they have the clout to lure another star to Houston. Rob loves Bridges but reminds Brooklyn that they are in a full rebuild at this point and they should take anything they can get to build for the future. Listener questions this week include whether or not the NBA should start showing the introduction of the starting players on TV, and Rob says he didn’t even realize they don’t do it anymore because he used to love seeing them. And do the Lakers NEED to have a head coach by the Draft? Rob says maybe not this season but you always want a coach’s input on the picks you make for the future. We also debate if the New Orleans Pelicans should pay Brandon Ingram his $55 million a season extension, and dive into the wild LEGO theft ring in Rob’s neighborhood in Southern California.</p>

And despite a dominant season, Rob does NOT believe the Celtics will win it again, as he thinks that bigger teams from the West will break through and match up better against them then Dallas did. As for the Mavericks, Rob thinks this was a “one shining moment” for them, because teams like Denver and Minnesota will be back in the mix and will find a way to get better. We also discuss Jaylen Brown winning the Finals MVP, Doris Burke making history, and Joel Embiid saying that Boston is not the new dynasty in the NBA, because he will get healthy, and so will Milwaukee in the East alone. We also debate who teams like Philly and the Bucks can add to take that leap to eclipse Boston in the East. It’s also starting to look like Klay Thompson will hit free agency (if reports are to be believed) so Rob weighs in on where Klay would be the best fit. Plus with Charles Barkley announcing he’s retiring from television after next season, Rob believes it will change the landscape of sports television, especially NBA, because of his dynamic personality. Audio of the week is from Snoop Dogg who was in the booth for the Brewers and the Reds, and him calling baseball is electric! We also feature some classic audio from NBA history with Ron Artest shooting a huge three in the Lakers-Celtics finals 14 years ago, and a really inspiring Big Shot of the Week from a doctor in Africa. And we get deep into the first two games of the Finals, with Rob and Rob both nominating Jaylen Brown as the early MVP, and Harper says he’s not surprised by this series so far because Boston doing what they do best by suffocating the Mavericks. And we’re all waiting for either Luka or Kyrie to take over a game or two and extend the series. Rob also weighs in on Shaq’s comments that he wasn’t the best player on the Lakers during their title runs, as he disagrees with the big fella, saying he was both the best and most dominant player on the floor. Dan Hurley also shot down an offer to coach the Lakers this week, leading Rob to reaffirm that JJ is going to be the hire, as he does not think Borrego is a good coach. And Rob feels like Caitlin Clark needs to earn her stripes in the WNBA before expecting a spot on the Olympic team, because as he goes through the roster of all-time greats that are playing, she just doesn’t stack up yet. Plus some more Hall of Fame love from Rob from Rudy Tomjanovich, a really cool Big Shot of the Week, and Rob and Harper square off in a hilarious round of Shootout!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Tracy McGrady says Steph Curry still has not cracked his Top 10 all time, so the debate ensues from the start of the bonus show about where (if at all) he’d fall on our lists. <p class="MsoNormal">Reggie Miller made headlines this week and opens up our bonus show, as we debate who he was taking shots at when he talked about a “Mount Rushmore guy” who points fingers. We also try to figure out why the Knicks fans still hate Reggie 30 years later and where that comes from. A listener asks Rob what has happened to Jrue Holiday (after his lack of scoring the postseason) and after Malik Monk got a Rolex from a teammate we ask Rob what was the best gift he got from a teammate. We also learn that Rob is a really good poker player, and Rob lays down exactly how the Lakers would operate if he were to take the reins. And after Dana White got a FedEx driver fired on accident we find out that Rob might have gotten a waiter fired, plus Pat Bev’s suspension has us talking about how much Rob’s shove of Steve Nash really cost him.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">After Rob’s trip to Atlanta last week, we go over the stuff that happened while he was on the road – and how surprised some of us were that Jamal Murray didn’t get suspended for his heat-pad toss. It’s also wild to see the Timberwolves playing with way less effort and enthusiasm with Rudy Gobert in the line-up, proving to Rob and B-Dog that he should not have been Defensive Player of the Year. We also take a quick look at Shaq’s feud with Shannon Sharpe after it got super personal, and how we love the Big Fella but he needs to have thicker skin. The Knicks and Pacers series has been officiated very poorly according to Rob, and he knew it would happen because the Knicks are worn out and the league is doing them a favor. And as all good teams do, the Celtics held the Cavs off and it looks like curtains for Cleveland. Will JJ Redick be the next Lakers coach? Rob says would retire from Spectrum if he was, and compares it (though B-Dog feels unfairly) to Steve Nash’s time as the Nets head coach. Rob says he would definitely take the gig if it were offered to him, but only if he could pick his coaching staff, because he feels like that makes all the difference. Ultimately Ty Lue is the big winner, because he’ll get caught in a bidding war between the Lakers and Clippers. Plus the Hawks win the draft lottery in a year where there is no high profile talent on the board, because that’s Atlanta, we have some amazing audio of the week from Luka’s postgame press conference (where is sounds like someone was watching something dirty), offer up an inspiring Big Shot of the Week, and play another fun round of Shot Clock!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">A really fun bonus show kicks off the weekend with the amazing Brady roast – which Tom Brady immediately regretted – Rob tells us the story about getting committed to judging a pregnant bikini contest. And after a member of the Padres AAA affiliate found out he was getting traded while standing on second base, we ask Rob where he was when he found out he got traded to the Suns for Charles Barkley. Plus did a new sandwich cutting style on the Internet change the game forever? Nope, because Rob is a crazy man who does not cut his sandwiches at all. We also talk about the unfortunate case of Lonzo Ball, who just picked up his huge option with the Bulls despite having not played for the last two years. We also nerd out by calling in our four favorite X-Men to save our butts in a fight, and dive into the WILD story about Vladimir Putin stealing Robert Kraft’s Super Bowl ring!</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">There is SO much to get into on this week’s show – and we start with the Timberwolves, as Minnesota shocks the world by taking the first two games in Denver… but not Robert Horry! Rob aw the flaws in the Denver bench during the Lakers series. And somehow the Timberwolves were better without Rudy Gobert, Trae Young saying Ant Man should have been an Atlanta Hawk, and whether Jamal Murray will get suspended for throwing the heat pad on the floor in Game 2. We throw some love to Josh Hart for his exceptional play as the Knicks take Game 1 against the Pacers, even though Rob is still rolling with the Pacers to win the series. And the Clippers burn Jenners again, as they dip out in the first round to the Mavericks and we deep dive into the money owed to that roster and whether Paul George stays in LA. We also get Rob’s take on Darvin Ham and the Lakers entire coaching staff being shown the door, and even though it’s LeBron’s 6<sup>th</sup> coach to be let go, Rob doesn’t think it’s a LeBron issue and sees him getting an extension in LA. And everyone has words for Pat Bev after the insane drama of throwing a ball into the stands, insulting a female ESPN reporter because she didn’t subscribe to her podcast, and what this means for his future beyond the NBA. Plus we debate whether the Suns will trade Devin Booker, give out an inspiring Big Shot of the Week to a Buffalo firefighter who saved a dog’s life, and play another classic round of Black Crime or White Crime.</p>

MLB is rolling out their City Connect jerseys for the season, so we also ask Rob about his favorite NBA alternate jerseys, even though those largely didn't come until after he retired. We were all stunned to learn that Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson is going to be a REAL fight, and wonder what will prevail - Tyson's power and experience, or Jake Paul's stamina. And after Stallone and Arnold did their sit down interview, we debate our favorite action heroes of all time. And after Jenners' daughter accidentally watched the new Deadpool trailer, we talk about the things we watched as kids that we knew were inappropriate.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We roll into this week’s show with LeBron flinching on a woman in the front row of the Nuggets-Lakers Game 5, and how Rob felt about the Lakers performance as they were eliminated in the first round. Rob thinks Denver is vulnerable as they prepare to take on the high-powered Timberwolves, and while Rob picks Minnesota to win and advance, B-Dog thinks Denver will show the championship pedigree and find a way to win. Plus we debate about whether LeBron played his final game as a Laker – and while Rob says no, he does think the Lakers move on from Darvin Ham. The wild Suns payroll has our heads spinning as rumors circulate about them moving on from Frank Vogel, and we all discuss how Kyrie and Harden have both been exceptional in the Clippers-Mavericks series. We also get into Joel Embiid’s dirty play against the Knicks, and from there a debate about whether Embiid is a dirty player across his career. And we dive head first into the NFL Draft with a debate about whether the Falcons were wise or stupid to draft Michael Penix Jr after signing Kirk Cousins in the offseason – and amazing Draft audio from Xavier Leggette and Keon Coleman who both set the Internet on fire this week. We close out with Reggie getting his Heisman back, audio of the week from Charles Barkley as he took on the city of Galveston Texas, a Big Shot of the Week to a couple of barbers who saved a young girl’s life, and an eye-opening NBA game called Salary Cap.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The NBA Playoffs always bring back memories for Rob as we kick off this week’s bonus show. We also get into Jim Harbough’s Michigan tattoo, and ask Rob if there was ever a tattoo promise on any team he played for… and he says if the Lakers had gone 16-0 in the playoffs they probably would have gotten a tattoo. We also kick around the anonymous poll of NBA players, where they crowned the most overrated players in the league, topped out by Rudy Gobert, Jordan Poole and Trae Young… and a few others that just seem like players hating on them, like Harden, Randle and Tatum. And Bovada’s random and terrible list of the Top NBA Champions of all time gets Rob all riled up, and the debate rages as Rob defends his teams that didn’t make the list. We also joke that this is the type of draft that will get someone fired, but Rob disagrees because there is so little talent on the board that everyone will earn a pass this year. Plus Jason Kelce lost his Super Bowl ring in a chili scavenger hunt, which spawns the question about the worst thing Rob ever lost, and we gauge everyone’s excitement level now that the new Deadpool and Wolverine trailer has dropped.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We go BIG on the NBA Playoffs this week, especially after Rob had to work the Lakers-Nuggets Game 2 where the Lakers blew a 20-point lead. Rob says Jamal Murray is going to continue to be a problem for the Lakers, as his averages against LA are way up from the regular season, and we all question the game plan down the stretch and how the team mentality changed. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We also break down the wild end to the Knicks game as they go up 2-0 against the 76ers, Zion Williamson’s unfortunately timed hamstring injury, and how good the Clippers looked in Game 1 of their series against the Mavericks. There are also flowers for Dame Lillard and Anthony Edwards, both who went OFF in their individual games, and we especially look into the dominance of Ant-Man in a huge spot. We also get Rob’s thoughts on Anthony Davis saying “the league doesn’t like me” after another Defensive Player of the Year snub, and while Rob thinks he has a point he also thinks the award has been a joke since the they gave it to Marc Gasol. Plus Jontay Porter’s lifetime fine and what it means for the future of sports betting, Caitlin Clark’s run-in with an unintentionally creepy reporter, and the debate about whether Jags GM Trent Baalke farted during a press conference this week! And we close it out with a viral video Big Shot of the Week where good Samaritans saved a man from a burning vehicle in Minnesota, and a fun new game called Tip Drill where Harp and Rob play hot potato with trivia questions.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The bonus show opens with the Allen Iverson statue controversy coming out of Philadelphia, after the Internet turned on the 76ers for unveiling a very small statue for Allen Iverson… but context matters, because every Philly legend has the same small statue outside the practice facility. Plus Kevin Durant talks about staying healthy this season by avoiding “floppers and crash dummies,” guys that Rob used to call “fake hustle” guys. We even dive into how much fun WrestleMania was this year, from guys that are NOT wrestling fans and really enjoyed it. And Rob weighs in on the Scottie Scheffler dilemma, as his wife was pregnant with their first child while he was leading the Masters, and he said he’d walk off the course if his wife went into labor… and Rob says he would leave any event, but Jenners contends that guys don’t have much to contribute during delivery. Plus, after the passing of OJ Simpson last week, Rob recounts what it was like playing in the NBA Finals the night of the OJ Simpson Bronco chase. And we close things out by talking about the 20 instances of guys scoring more than 50 in a game this season, and the final debate about who gets our MVP votes now that the regular season is over.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It’s a full NBA Playoff Preview on this week’s show, and we open things up with Mike Greenberg’s comments about the Lakers “tanking” the play-in game so they can try to get the #8 seed to face OKC instead of taking the #7 seed and facing Denver… and Rob AGREES with him! We debate the merit of playing the tougher teams early instead of late, and dive deep into all the play-in games and first round matchups. Rob says that the Thunder are young, but they are NOT ready, and thinks the 8 seed in the West will<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>have a legit shot to knock them out in the first round. And Rob and B-Dog debate the merit of Rudy Gobert in the playoffs, how entertaining the Clippers-Mavericks series will be, and what will happen to the Bucks without Giannis in the opening round. We also throw some props to Victor Wembanyama and take an eye-opening look at Caitlin Clark’s rookie deal with the WNBA.
