Amanda explains how the concept for the show came about, how it was “cast” and how it ultimately found its way, after a brief journey, to Bravo as it's home. Amanda explains what growing up on Long Island’s North Shore was really like and why the timing for a show like Princesses: Long Island seemed right. Amanda discusses the concept of the show, a series of young women out of college for a short period of time who end up living back with their parents in well to do enclaves of Long Island, New York. We discuss the difference between how the show was marketed, portrayed and perceived as a series of rich young entitled Long Islanders versus the reality of the struggles, both financially and emotionally, most of the cast were facing on and off camera in real life. Amanda also opens up about how hard it is to film a reality show with a bunch of other woman with similar personalities and how it is almost impossible for many of those friendships to survive the strains of Reality TV. Baylee Littrell steps Behind The Rope. If that last name sounds familiar to you, that is because his Dad is one of the members of the Iconic Backstreet Boys. There is much more to Baylee though than his famous last name. Baylee knew from a young age music was in his blood. He started writing songs in his pre-teen years and made his Broadway debut at the young age of thirteen in “Disaster”.
