Luke Gulbranson, from Summer House, steps back Behind The Rope. Checking in from his Michigan Lake House, show shovel in hand, flannel clad, shoveling snow, Luke is here to fill us in on all since we last saw him on our TV screen during the Summer House Season Four Reunion. Trista Sutter, THE Original Bachelorette, Steps Behind The Rope. Let us start at the beginning. Trista recalls what it was like when she applied to a not yet known TV show that promised the possibility of meeting the love of your life. Ya right, she thought. How likely is it for someone to find love on TV? With little known Reality TV to compare it to (The Real World and Survivor were two of the only successful Reality Shows around at the time), Trista had no idea what to expect when she was cast and filmed Season One of The Bachelor. Trista explained what it felt like to be the Runner Up and subsequently, very soon thereafter, be given her own show, the uber successful Bachelorette. Hot off her recent Below Deck appearance, Jackie Siegel steps Behind The Rope. Yes, that Jackie Siegel. Jackie Siegel from the infamous, before its time, Reality Documentary “The Queen of Versailles”. Checking in from her home in Florida, we chat with Jackie about her “rags to riches” story of getting and falling in love with her now husband David. That “rags to riches” story included their decision to build the largest, at that time, private residence house in the United States of America, aptly deemed “Versailles”. What does one do when building the largest private residence? Why, hire a film crew to document the whole event. Duh, obvi. The result was 2012 Sundance Film Festival US Best Directing Award and Critics’ Choice Award Best Documentary Nominee “The Queen of Versailles”. What started out as a film documenting the construction on this residence and the fun lavish lifestyle of the rich and famous Siegels, turned in to somewhat of an expose of extreme wealth in the face of the unexpected economic crisis the country was facing during filming. “Expose” is not an understatement considering husband David’s lawsuit against the finished product. Jackie is forthcoming about all and her early days in the “reality” space. Speaking of reality, Jackie is friends with many a Real Housewife and we discuss some of her friends. We also discuss her desire to join the Real Housewives franchise, her past application to RHONY, her past rejection from RHONY, and her possible involvement in the rumored return of The Real Housewives of Miami to Peacock Streaming. Jenny Hutt steps Behind The Rope. Let us start at the beginning. Jenny was born in Roslyn, Long Island to Charles & Bunny Koppelman. A “big wig” in the record industry, her Dad knew them all. By all, we mean he worked with the likes of Barbara Streisand, Donna Summer, Diana Ross, Dolly Parton, Vanilla Ice. Jenny grew up going on vacations with Barbara Streisand and “hanging out” with Dolly Parton. Obsessed with Rap Music at a young age, RUN DMC played at her Sweet Sixteen Party and The Beastie Boys were also in attendance. Remember the MTV Show “My Super Sweet 16”? Ok, you get the idea. After college Jenny went to Law School, before accepting a position as her Dad’s executive assistant for his newly found position as Chairman and Right Hand Man to Martha Stewart at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. It was at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia that Martha’s daughter Alexis befriended her and decided, hey, we are going to have a radio show together. For the next several years, Jenny and Alexis hosted “Whatever with Alexis & Jennifer” at SiriusXM. That Radio show led to a TV Show on the Hallmark Chanel of the same name where they interviewed a variety of guests such as national treasure Paula Abdul. It was also during this time that Martha and Jenny’s Dad starred on a little known reality show called “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart”. Jenny couldn’t believe her eyes when one of her college friends was a contestant on the show, Miss Bethenny Frankel. Gregory Zarian steps Behind The Rope. Let us start at the beginning. Born and raised in California, Gregory chats what life was like growing up with a Twin Brother and a Dad as Mayor. That would be anything but dull. Ok, let us fast forward to Gregory’s young adult life. One day, while working at a Nordstrom Department Store, he was asked if he ever wanted to be an actor. He said sure and soon thereafter found himself on the set of "Days of Our Lives”, one of the classic and longest running Soap Operas of our time. Of course, all good things must come to an end and, in this case, that includes Gregory’s role on “Days”. With that role over and done, he was scouted and sent to model internationally in Paris, Milan and Germany for a few years. We could think of a worse way to spend a few years. Eventually modeling brought him back to the states and an unexpected return to Soap Life, this time as fan fav “Julius” on “General Hospital”. In some instances, “fan fav” was an understatement. Gregory and David discuss the rabid fan base General Hospital has and how, in many ways, the level of commitment is similar to that of Housewives Fans. Peaches Christ steps Behind The Rope. Legendary Drag Performer, Peaches Christ, that is. Born Joshua Grannell, Peaches takes us back to the beginning and what it was like growing up in a suburban Maryland town with a love of all things “alternative” - Horror Films, The Macabre, John Waters, Depeche Mode and The Pet Shop Boys, to name a few. That “alternative” also came with an early Queer Identity, which Peaches combined with her love of film, to enter film school. It was during her senior thesis at this film school that Peaches Christ was born. After film school, Peaches ultimately settled in San Francisco and voila her famed Midnight Mass live movie / drag/ musical extravaganza began. It shortly thereafter became a thing, a big thing, attracting the likes of RuPaul, The Scissor Sisters’ Ana Matronic, Elvira, and even John Waters himself. Speaking of RuPaul, we discuss that one time RuPaul basically announced he was starting a little show called “Drag Race” at one of Peaches’ Midnight Mass live events.
