Episode 88: Season Two Legit to Quit
As the year comes to a close, it's time to take a quick look back at our second season of Baconsale. We talk about some guests we'd like to have back on, some shows we'd like to redo and some of our favorite moments of this season (like when we met Kate Beckinsale -- remember that? We sure do!). Plus, we offer up some behind-the-scenes insights into creating our podcast. WARNING: It gets a little warm and fuzzy at times. However, after the kind of year 2016 has been, we think we could all use something a little warm and fuzzy, don't you? Press play and enjoy our season finale of Baconsale!

BaconBit: Rogue One Review
This is a rebellion isn't it? We rebel. And we're also ready to review Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Will this spin-off of the franchise set between the prequels and the sequels win the hearts of Kent, Joel and Jacob? Or will Baconsale want to charge up the Death Star and obliterate the tale of Jyn Erso? There's only one way to find out (or two, if you count Kent's review on Radio Ronin) -- click play now! The first 11 minutes are SPOILER-FREE! We even reigned Kent in with his plot descriptions for that part.

Episode 87: Christmas Showdown - Die Hard vs. Lethal Weapon
On this week’s episode, Baconsale takes on two of the greatest '80s action flicks of all time: Lethal Weapon and Die Hard. However, we’re not discussing which film is better. Instead, Kent and Joel are debating which movie is more Christmas-y. They’ve each picked a side, they’ve done their research and they’ve taken notes on all of the Christmas music, all of the Christmas decorations, all of the Christmas themes and all of the cocaine the looks like snow. Kent gets a little mainstream, Joel gets a little emotional and now it’s time for you to have yourself a merry little podcast.

Episode 86: Toy Stories
We don't want to grow up, we are Toys R Us kids! And in this episode we're talking about our favorite toys, trinkets, playthings and, yes, even dolls from our childhood. Kent and Joel have created a list of their top five favorite gifts they received in the 80s and 90s, as well as the presents they wish Santa had given them -- while Jacob's mind is blown that there were things other than sticks and rocks for children to play with back then. So whether you played with Barbie, G.I. Joe, My Little Pony, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, press play to enjoy this nostalgic episode of Baconsale!

Episode 85: Star Wars vs. Lord of the Rings (with Brandon Mull)
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, Baconsale decided to take on one of the biggest sci-fi/fantasy debates ever: Star Wars versus Lord of the Rings. However, we knew that we couldn’t bear the burden of this geek culture topic alone, so we formed a fellowship with Brandon Mull, New York Times bestselling author of the Fablehaven, Beyonders, and Five Kingdoms book series. Together, we will host a series of mini-battles, such as box office numbers, critical reception, acting, musical scores and even the attractiveness of the cast for both franchises. We will declare a winner for each round, and then, in the end, we will declare an ultimate winner between the science fiction blockbuster and the ambitious adaptations of J. R. R. Tolkien’s novels. It’s time to press play, leave the Shire, join the rebellion against the Galactic Empire and listen to this latest episode of Baconsale.

Episode 84: We Ate Everything at McDonald's
Ba-da ba ba *burp*, we’re lovin' it? Yes, it’s true -- Baconsale has taken on the task of eating every single item on the McDonald’s menu. Our fast-food quest took us a few months, and lightened our wallets while expanding our waistlines, but we’re finally ready to rank and categorize all of the breakfast, lunch and dinner selections from the world’s most popular, most profitable and most controversial restaurant chain. So whether you love McD’s or hate it, you can enjoy our comedic breakdown of such favorites as the famous McDonald's French fries, the Big Mac, the Egg McMuffin, the Chicken McNuggets and the elusive McRib. Thank you for being a listener of Baconsale, you can now press play and pick up your supersized episode at the second window!

BaconBit: Fantastic Beasts Review
Kent and Joel are ready to broom dive back into the world of Harry Potter and talk about J.K. Rowling’s newest movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Is this the beginning of a well-made spin-off of the original stories we know and love that adds to the mythology? Or is this a watered-down, cash-grabbing sequel starring Captain Fish Lips and CGI monstrosities? Get out your wands, press play and find out. As always, the first 9 minutes of the show are spoiler-free. We’ll warn you before we start talking about fantastic plot points and where to find them.

Episode 83: Harry Podcast and the Category Show
Expecto podcastum! It's about time Baconsale did a Harry Potter show. We don't know why it's taken us this long to discuss the Boy Who Lived and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, but we're doing it now, okay? So back off! Geesh! This is a category show, so it's up to Joel and Kent to come up with answers to questions such as: -Who is the most overrated character? -What was the most heartbreaking death in the series? -Which is the best book? -Which is the worst movie? Plus, you'll find out which house the Sorting Hat placed each of the guys in and what kind of wand chose them. So press play and hop on the Hogwarts Express with Baconsale!

Episode 82: Fictional Political Discourse
The time has come for us to discuss politics…in our own Baconsale way, that is. And since we don’t know that much about actual politicians, Kent and Joel are each campaigning for fictional characters they picked from film and television. They’ve grouped these candidates into two groups: best president, best vice president and best first lady as well as the worst president, worst vice president and worst first lady. Not gonna lie, it gets pretty geeky at times. Also, you can rest assured that during this episode we will not even mention the names of certain real-life presidential candidates that we’re all tired of hearing about lately. We swore an oath. Get your ballot ready, step into the listening booth and get ready to vote for your favorites!

BaconBit: Doctor Strange Review
Throw on your cape and trim your goatee, it's time for our review of Doctor Strange! Baconsale is ready to talk about the 14th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and determine if Benedict Cumberbatch (or Benedict "Cumberbutton," as Jacob calls him) is the right fit for the role of Dr. Stephen Strange. As always, the first 10 minutes of this review are spoiler-free! It's not until the last half when we talk about the ending of the movie where Batman punches Darth Vader in the face to save Hermione Granger. Wait....

Episode 81: Escape from the Great Room Escape
Ready? Set? Go! In this episode, we talk about our experience taking our contest winner to The Great Room Escape. And since we our mission was to get out of the escape room in under an hour, we decided to keep this episode under an hour, as well. Don't worry, we don't give any spoilers about the puzzles and clues in the room -- we mostly just talk about Joel feeling mostly useless in the room and Kent jump-dancing away from the zombie. Did we make it out of the room? And, if so, how much time did we have left? Hurry and press play -- the clock is ticking!

Episode 80: The Fearamid (Part 2)
We’re finishing off the final few categories of the Fearamid, which includes things like phobias, creepy locations and even Kate Beckinsale. Then it’s time to create the ultimate Fearamid! We’re taking the top fear from each finalized pyramid and comparing them to one another. Is Pennywise the Clown scarier than a tsunami? Is a spider worse than demonic possession? Will a shark be declared the most frightening thing ever without discussion just because Joel and Kent seem to wet themselves whenever sharks are mentioned? Take a deep breath, press play and find out. The final Fearamid begins now!

Episode 79: The Fearamid (Part 1)
Beware the Fearamid! Jacob has created a series of terrifying categories, such as animals, movie monsters and natural disasters, and it’s up to Kent and Joel to decide what belongs at the top of each pyramid of fear (Hey! That’s where the name “Fearamid” comes from!). Is Pennywise the Clown scarier than Dracula? Is a giant spider less terrifying than a giant mosquito? Is being abducted by aliens worse than being held captive by a cult? These are the decisions we have to make on this episode of Baconsale! A word of caution before you press play: things get a tad gruesome at times on this episode. Subjects such as death, dismemberment, maulings and cannibalism are discussed. It’s still done in our usual humorous tone, but you may not want to listen to this episode with your young, impressionable children. Joel made us write this part.

Episode 78: Behind the Screams of Haunted Houses
It doesn't matter whether you call them haunted houses, haunted attractions or spook alleys, the industry of scaring people is big business. And our special guest in this episode, Greg Andersen, has been in that business for almost 30 years. He has worked in such haunts as Rocky Point, Castle of Chaos and, currently, The Great Room Escape. So, of course, Baconsale spends most of the time asking him random questions and making fun of each other. Nevertheless, we do learn a thing or two along the way AND, we announce our FIRST OFFICIAL BACONSALE CONTEST! Listen to find out how you can win a fabulous prize worth up to dollars! What are you waiting for? Press play and join us! Great Room Escape website: http://greatroomescape.com/

Episode 77: From Pee-wee to Peregrine - Tiering Tim Burton
Attend the tale of Baconsale! Let us ease you into the Halloween spirit with an episode all about one of the most macabre modern film directors, Tim Burton. Kent and Joel have watched all of the movies that Burton has directed to date and they are now ready to rank each one on a three-tier scale. Along the way, Joel shares Tim Burton stats, such as how many times Burton has actually used Johnny Depp in his films, Kent drools over Eva Green (or is it Large Marge?), and Jacob giggles at the name Frankenweenie. So say Baconsale three times and press play! It's showtime!

Episode 76: What Would Baconsale Do?
Delve deep into the twisted psyche of Jacob as he presents a series of hypothetical questions designed to delight Kent and disturb Joel. These psychological experiments include a series of "would you rather" questions, a "what's in the shopping cart" section and other anxiety-inducing personality tests intended to analyze the minds of the Baconsale boys. Press play and play along with Jacob's morbid game...if you dare!

Episode 75: The Baconsale Pitch Project
As we all know, most franchise reboots are the spawn of Satan himself sent to ruin movies and destroy lives. However, some sequels (like Mad Max: Fury Road and Jurassic World) have helped to revitalize an otherwise dead film series. Therefore, much to Kent's delight, he and Joel have each been tasked to come up with three sequel pitches that could resurrect an old franchise, if only Hollywood would listen. While Jacob spends most of the time complaining about how Sam Raimi pronounces his name and how he missed out on a certain comedy/horror movie during his childhood. Also, WARNING: We say "hell" a lot in this episode. However, don't worry, we're mostly talking about the place, so it's in context and Joel still considers it family friendly.

Episode 74: Soundtrack and Feels
Hear that? That's the sound of Kent and Joel discussing great movie music. They spend the first little bit arguing about scores versus soundtracks, actually, but then they get into the categories such as the best animated score, iconic 90s soundtrack, the film soundtrack everyone had and the best scores from John Williams and Danny Elfman (or Elf-Man, as Jacob calls him). Don't be a moron goose, press play and listen to the soothing sounds of Baconsale! And go to Baconsale.com to see the Spotify playlist of songs mentioned in this episode.

Episode 73: The Pilot Program
Because the fall season is fast approaching, Baconsale is ready to talk about their favorite pilots! Amelia Earhart, Charles Lindbergh, Chelsey Sullenberger....wait, I am being informed that they are actually talking about TV show pilots (yes, that joke get used A LOT in this episode). Kent, Joel and Jacob have each prepared their lists of the top five television pilots of all time, and yet they spend a bunch of time talking about our restroom etiquette show and Jennifer Garner's wigs. Will their picks for the best TV series pilot match up? Or will Kent only choose random hipster shows that no one has ever heard of? Press play and give us the green light to entertain you!

Episode 72: Baconsale-Approved Restroom Etiquette
To kick off a potential series of etiquette-related episodes, we decided to first come up with a list of Baconsale-approved public restroom rules that everyone should follow. Kent, Joel and Jacob (but mostly Kent) discuss proper protocol and pet peeves in the men's room. Plus, they even talk about generally accepted behavior for the women's restroom, as well, with the help of our female listener. Why did we choose to start this series with a bathroom episode? Well, that was Kent's idea. However, Joel gave Kent strict orders to stay away from toilet humor -- which is ironic considering Joel is the one who ends up crossing the line of family friendliness at one point. So whether you're listening to this episode in the bathroom, the restroom, the water closet or the powder room, enjoy the acoustics of this episode of Baconsale!

Episode 71: End of 2016 Movie Preview
With a mediocre summer movie season winding to a close, it's time for Baconsale to look to the future and discuss the rest of the films coming out in 2016. #CreepyKent is off in la la land picking hipster choices, Joel is distracted by Halloween and Jacob is sewing his Amish roots back home, so he's not even there. No worries, though, we brought on our good friend Sean Peek to fill in for him. So press play and find out what films we're looking forward to during the fall and winter of 2016, which movies we want to bomb and if Kent still dares to be the villain.

Episode 70: Mary Lou Retton and the Golden Snitch
On your mark, get set, podcast! We go for the gold this time and get a real, live sports radio personality to join us! Alex Kirry from KSL is here to challenge Joel and Kent in an Olympic challenge! We're not doing anything that would be physically challenging, though, that would be ridiculous. Instead, Jacob has created a quiz to test the others' knowledge of the Olympics. Along the way, we learn a thing or two about Quidditch, poodle clipping and Indian clubs. So press play and do your nation proud by listening to this episode of Baconsale!

Episode 69: Suicide Squad Review
We've been talking about this movie since the very first episode of Baconsale, and now the time is finally here for us to review Suicide Squad. As always, Mr. J, Mr. J and Mr. K start off with a spoiler-free review. It's not until around 30 minutes in that we get into spoiler territory. Is Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn everything we dreamed she would be? Where does Jared Leto fall in the ranking of actors who play The Joker? Is Will Smith too Will Smith-y for his role as Deadshot? Find out all this and more by pressing play on this episode of Baconsale! Side note: Kent's already changed his grade a little Final Track here!

Episode 68: This Show Is Overrated!
Get ready, The Listener, because you're about to experience the best episode of Baconsale, nay, the best episode of any podcast, ever! Ok, that may be overselling it, but today we're talking about overrated stuff. We've created a list of random categories (such as fast-food restaurants, superhero TV shows, horror movies, 90s bands, video games, albums and more) and it's up to Kent and Joel to offer their vote for the most overrated person, place or thing in each category. We know we're going to tick some people off with our answers, but, hey, that's what Baconsale does best! Final track link here!

Episode 67: Pokémon - Gotta Teach 'Em All!
We wanna be the very best and understand Pokémon, which is why we've invited Collin Willams, the Poké Professor onto our show -- and it's super effective! Collin begins at the basics of Pokémon (for Joel's sake), and then talks about how it went from a simple role-playing video game about pocket monsters to the augmented reality mobile app and worldwide phenomenon it has become. Along the way, we learn some tips and tricks about how to play Pokémon Go and we learn about how we're all geeks in one form or another. So yell "Baconsale, I choose you!" and fling your Poké Ball at your screen to get started...or just press play. Collin's Pokemon Go Guides: http://pokeprofessor.com/ Collin's Ingress Site: http://embraceingression.com/ Collin's Comedy Page: http://comiccollin.com/

Episode 66: All-Female Ghostbusters' All-Male Review
The power of Patty compels you to listen to this podcast! Kent, Joel and Jacob must be chauvinist, misogynist sexists because, in this episode, they dare to objectively question whether the 2016 reboot of Ghostbusters is a good film or not. However, this is so much more than a simple movie review. In fact, we spend the first half of this episode talking about the controversy surrounding this remake and we discuss what films should never be remade. It's not until around the 38-minute mark that we actually begin our spoiler-free review of the new Ghostbusters film and it's not until 54 minutes in that we get into spoiler territory. So even if you haven't seen the movie yet, you can still enjoy the majority of this episode of Baconsale. If you don't enjoy it, then you obviously hate men.

Episode 65: Steven Spielberg and the Raters of the Lost Art
Hold on to your butts, The Listener! Since Steven Spielberg is, without a doubt, one of the top ten film directors of all time, Kent and Joel have decided to each make a list of their top ten Spielberg movies. This means something. This is important. And lest you think we're gonna need a bigger podcast, we actually manage to get through both of our lists during one episode. Plus, we even throw in some random Spielberg trivia along the way, and discuss if the world famous director, producer, screenwriter and editor still has what it takes to reel in the crowds or not. Either way, by listening to this podcast you have chosen...wisely.

Episode 64: Tournament of Disney Villains (Final Round)
We think it's time to say goodbye to Prince Abubu...er, our Tournament of Disney villains as we wrap up our bracket of bad guys. Joel and Kent have brought their best (and most desperate) arguments for who they think should advance in each round. We use our wits, we use our logic and we don't underestimate the importance of body language. In this episode, you'll hear us debate fights such as Gaston vs. Captain Hook, Maleficent vs. Governor Ratcliffe and Ursula vs. Chernabog. The discussion gets pretty heated at times, and you may call us a codfish because of some of our decisions, but we hope you enjoy this finale of our tournament of animated antagonists. Play along with us by downloading your own bracket at Baconsale.com

Episode 63: Tournament of Disney Villains (Part 2)
Name's Baconsale, Lord of the Dead. Hi, how ya doin'? Now look, we tried to finish our Disney Villain tournament this episode, but certain battles took longer than others for some. odd reason. So Kent and Joel were only able to get through one more round of the bracket And if that doesn't scare you, no evil thing will. Nevertheless, you're sure to be entertained with such epic match-ups as Hades vs. Jafar, Ursula vs. The Horned King and, yes, Hopper vs. The Stabbington Brothers. So get ready to yell "Fools! Idiots! Imbeciles!" at us as we plow through yet another Disney-villain-themed episode of Baconsale. Plus, you can download your own bracket and play along at Baconsale.com

BaconBit: Independence Day Resurgence Review
Since Independence Day was deemed the most "America!" movie of all time (by Joel), it's his fault that Baconsale had to see the sequel. Is ID42 the cash grab Kent, Joel and Jacob all feared it would be? (Yes) Or does it rise above our expectations and prove itself to be one of the best movies of the summer? (No) Click play to find out (how bad it is)! By the way, the first nine minutes are spoiler-free.

Episode 62: Tournament of Disney Villains (Part 1)
Magic Mirror on the wall, who is the baddest Disney villain of all? Be prepared, The Listener, in this episode, we are pitting the greatest antagonists from animated Disney movies (and some of their sidekicks) against each other in a no-holds-barred tournament. Jacob created a bracket (which you can download and play along with us at Baconsale.com) and it's up to Kent and Joel to decide who would win in an epic battle between the likes of Scar vs. Shere Khan, The Headless Horseman vs. Mr. Oogie Boogie and Hopper vs. Prince John. And while you may be shouting "Off with their heads!" at some of our picks, don't forget it, you'll regret it, Baconsale knows best!

Episode 61: Ranking Pizza Chains - Better Ingredients, Better Podcast
Ding dong! Get the door, it's Baconsale! This episode is coming to you Hot-N-Ready as Kent, Joel and Jacob are ready to rank and tier your favorite fast food pizza places. We've methodically tested slices, pieces and pies for the past few months from some of most popular pizza chain restaurants in the United States -- you know, for science -- and now we're ready to tell you our results. So sit back, press play, avoid the Noid and enjoy this cheesy combination of opinion and fact. Final Track link here!

BaconBit: Beckinsale Wears Baconsale
What? Two BaconBits in two weeks? Yes, you're that lucky! And so are we here at Baconsale, because the lovely Kate Beckinsale not only wore the shirt that we gave her to her (all thanks to our ridiculous Salt Lake Comic Con GoFundMe campaign), but she posted about it on social media. So, once again, get ready for three grown men to squee like a bunch of fangirls. You can hear about the original encounter here: https://baconsale.com/…/baconbit-baconsale-meets-beckinsale/

Episode 60: After These Messages, We'll Be Right Baconsale
Grab yourself a bowl of breakfast cereal and plop yourself down in front of the TV, it's time to talk about Saturday morning cartoons! From The Flintstones to Pokémon, Joel and Kent are picking winners from beloved animated television shows of their childhood for a variety of categories. Plus, Jacob managed to find a cartoon quiz online to test the other two (since he was too busy farming as a child to watch things like Animaniacs and DuckTales). Feel free to play along, sing along and yell along with us as we dive deep into the land of nostalgia on this episode of Baconsale!

BaconBit: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows Review
Cowabunga, dudes! Much like Michael Bay giving us a reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that we didn't ask for, we're giving you a review of this TMNT sequel that you didn't ask for! Haven't seen the movie? No problem! In fact, some members of Baconsale would prefer you DIDN'T see this movie. Anyway, the first 10 minutes of this BaconBit are spoiler free. After that, Kent and Joel are going to openly share their feelings about this movie in a calm and respectful manner. Just kidding, they yell a lot. Enjoy!

Episode 59: Three X-Men and a Little Ranking
Let's go, bub! It's time for Baconsale to rank all eight of the X-Men films. However, it seems that Kent's and Joel's mutant ability is to disagree on which movie belongs where on their ranking charts. Joel angers Kent, Kent betrays Joel and Jacob just sits there and laughs at the two of them -- just like the supervillain he is. We also briefly review X-Men: Apocalypse. Don't worry, it's a spoiler-free review. We don't even mention the part where Jean Grey is captured by Dumbledore and imprisoned in a cage in his office.

Episode 58: Sonic Bomb! The Problem with Video Game Movies
From Super Mario Bros. to The Angry Birds Movie, Hollywood just can't seem to make a decent movie that is based on a video game. Therefore, in this episode, Baconsale is talking about why most video game film adaptations fail both critically and commercially. We also talk about the few hidden treasures in the vast wasteland of video game movies. They're not good movies, per se, but at least they don't make you want to gouge your eyes out. Plus, as an added bonus, Kent and Joel both pitch ideas for new films based on video games -- one of which is actually good. So whether you're a fan of Nintendo, Sega, PlayStation. Xbox or PC gaming, you're sure to enjoy us mocking the terrible movies based on the games you love.

Episode 57: The Psychology of Superheroes - Part 2
It seems that our time is up with Dr. Matt Woolley as the Baconsale crew finishes their discussion about superheroes with our favorite psychologist. In this, part two of the psychology of superheroes, we talk about specific Marvel and DC Comics characters and let Dr. Matt psychoanalyze a few of them, including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Wolverine. Along the way, you may even learn a little about yourself, as well. We learned that Joel slurs his speech if he records too late and that Kent believes that great power requires great looks.

Episode 56: The Psychology of Superheroes - Part 1
Our favorite clinical psychologist, Dr. Matt Woolley, is back! And this time Baconsale is talking to this educated man with a Ph.D. about our culture's current obsession with comic books and superhero movies. Well, Kent and Joel do most of the talking. Jacob is nursing a sore mouth, so he remains largely silent. So press play and find out which graphic novels Dr. Matt likes, why DC fanboys hate Marvel fanboys and what your favorite superhero/supervillain may say about you on this episode of Baconsale.

BaconBit: Captain America: Civil War Review
Yes, we know that Baconsale Episode 4 is already titled "Civil War," but that title was actually referring to the war of opinions that Kent and Joel had regarding Avengers: Age of Ultron. This episode features our actual review of Captain America: Civil War. And yes, the first 15 minutes are spoiler free. Has Kent finally found a Marvel movie that he likes? Is this movie Disney enough for Joel? Does Jacob agree with Steve Rogers, or is he Team Iron Man? It's time to find out. Pick a side and press play!

Episode 55: The Mother of All Shows
Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there! This episode is dedicated to you! From June Cleaver to Cersei Lannister, Baconsale is discussing the best and the worst maternal material that TV and film have to offer. Kent and Joel will answer such questions as who is the most inspirational fictional mother? Who is the most manipulative? Who is the scariest movie mom? Who is the funniest? Plus, along the way, Kent, Joel and Jacob discuss stories about their own mothers, as well. If you love your mom, you'll press play and listen. And, if you don't, press play just to spite her. Episode 54: 2016 Summer Movie Preview
Now that Batman v. Superman is behind us, it's time to look forward to this summer's films. Kent and Joel discuss their most anticipated movies being released between May and August of 2016. Plus, they also talk about films they want to bomb at the box office this summer. SPOILER ALERT: Jacob doesn't approve of any of their choices. Will Kent choose any movies that aren't indie hipster flicks? Will Joel actually see any of these movies while they're in theaters? Will the guys talk about Suicide Squad without mentioning Margot Robbie? There's only one way to find out -- press play!

Episode 52: I Got You Abe - A Conversation with a Twitter Comedian
#SpecialGuestStar On this episode of Baconsale we chat with Abe Yospe (aka @Cheeseboy22) about Twitter stardom and how it has brought him fame and fortune beyond his wildest dreams -- or, at least, a retweet from Judd Apatow. Abe teaches us about proper tweeting etiquette, advises us on how to gain more followers and he talks about what it's like to not own a cell phone. Plus, along the way, we learn a thing or two about social media in general. So press play and listen to four characters talk about the world of 140 characters!

Episode 51: Everyone's a Critic
You know it's hard out there for a critic. In this episode of Baconsale, Kent, Joel and Jacob discuss contemporary film criticism and its effect on modern society's opinion regarding media arts. Wow! That sounded really grown up and boring. Let's try that again: In this episode, Kent spends the whole time talking about himself and bashing on Rotten Tomatoes while Joel makes fun of him for it. There. That's much better. Give it a listen and then let us know your opinion in the comments section below because, as we all know, online comments sections are where the most reasonable and enlightening discussions happen.

BaconBit: Baconsale Meets Beckinsale
Yes, thanks to your generous donations, Kent, Joel and Jacob were actually able to meet Kate Beckinsale at Salt Lake Comic Con! Yes, it was truly an amazing experience and we are very excited (maybe too excited) to tell you all about it. And yes, this BaconBit is almost as long as a regular episode - we can deal with it, if you can deal with it. You can also check out our Facebook photo album of the event.

Episode 50: Batman v Superman Review
Tell me, do you Baconsale? You will. Especially when we're reviewing one of the most anticipated movies of the year, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. If you haven't seen it, don't worry, you can still listen to the first 20 minutes -- it's completely free of spoilers. After that, the gloves and the cowls come off and we openly discuss the movie and its plot points. Will Kent, the DC fan boy, finally be satisfied with a superhero ensemble movie? Will Joel, the Man of Steel basher, enjoy this Zack Snyder sequel? Will Jacob, the guy who watched The Force Awakens, be able to express his opinion of this movie? Press play and find out!

Episode 49: Do You Even Sport, Bro?
What happens when you quiz a couple of movie geeks on sports trivia? You're about to find out. It's time for you to feel like a champion compared to Kent and Joel as they fumble around for the answers to a relatively simple sport-themed quiz created by our returning special guest, Mark. Jacob is there, too, as the smug scorekeeper who pretends that he knows all of the answers. Press play and get your ringside seats, because our gloves are off, there are no holds barred and it comes down to the wire (those are sporty terms, right?) on this athletically challenged episode of Baconsale! Also, this is your last chance to donate to the very worthy cause of sending Baconsale to meet Kate Beckinsale! https://www.gofundme.com/baconsale

Episode 48: Best & Worst Superhero Casting
Instead of judging movies in this episode, Baconsale is judging casting directors...and each other. Kent and Joel have each created a list of the top five and bottom five superhero casting choices. Who does Joel think would make a good Catwoman? Does Kent like Henry Cavill's portrayal of Superman? Does Jacob think that Nicholas Cage would have been the better choice? Press play and find out! Also, time is running out for you to be able to donate to our Send Baconsale to Meet Beckinsale fund. We're this close to getting Sarah McLachlan to be in a commercial about it. https://www.gofundme.com/baconsale

Episode 47: Ranking Live-Action Disney (Part 2)
Santa Fe? Are you there? Well, it's time to play the glad game because here is part two of our live-action Disney movie rankings! Baconsale is ready to tick you off by taking more non-animated Disney films you know and love and putting each one into one of three tiers. Along the way, Joel talks about Disney family favorites from his childhood that shaped him into the man he is, and Kent then proceeds to mock and ridicule everything Joel holds dear. It's fun for the whole family! Hurry! Press play before the banshee finds you and puts you in the death coach! Plus, you still have time to donate to our Send Baconsale to Meet Beckinsale fund! https://www.gofundme.com/p5qtqjpj
